Beware of those Mitaka siblings; Imperial mutts they may be, but there’s a reason General Hux keeps the eldest so close.

The Mitaka siblings: Dopheld, Dahlia and Nari

*clangs pots and pans together* the wlw community is about more than cis girls having sex and being in love with other cis girls! It’s a wonderful thing, don’t get me wrong, but that’s not the only wonderful thing in this community. Just a reminder.

Dissociation tiers

Disclaimer: These are based on my own experiences and what I’ve read of other people’s experiences. I am not a doctor, nor do I represent anyone but myself who experiences dissociation/depersonalization/derealization. Some of these points may assume an abled body, as that is the type of body I have and am familiar with. Tier 0 also assumes no other mental/neurological disorders, which is untrue to my own brain but used for simplicity’s sake. Very simplistic list in general, mainly due to it being a list.

Tier 0

  • No brain fog.
  • No visual fog.
  • Senses are generally clear.
  • Reflection is recognizable.
  • Friends and family are recognizable.
  • When you touch something, you feel it immediately.
  • Everything is the correct distance away.
  • You can walk easily.
  • You can speak and easily understand yourself.
  • You can easily understand others when they speak.
  • You can multitask.
  • You are not detached from the world in any way.
  • Memory is mostly consistent.

Tier 1

  • Mild brain fog.
  • Visual fog is minimal or nonexistent.
  • Some other senses may be dulled, such as smell.
  • You know your reflection is your reflection, but you may not have a connection to it.
  • You can recognize your friends and family, but you might have to think about it.
  • Sense of touch may have minimal lag.
  • The floor may seem closer or further than normal.
  • The world in general may seem too close or too far, but not debilitatingly so.
  • Walking may require some focus.
  • Voice may feel thick in your mouth, but no one else seems concerned.
  • Other people’s voices may seem far away or too loud.
  • Multitasking is difficult, but doable.
  • You’re slightly detached from the world.
  • Memories are harder to hold on to.

Tier 2

  • Moderate brain fog; thinking is becoming difficult.
  • The world may seem significantly grayer or fuzzier.
  • Other senses are dulled to some degree.
  • You cognitively know your reflection is supposed to be you, but it doesn’t seem right.
  • You can’t immediately recognize your friends and family. They could be who you think they are, but you aren’t sure.
  • When you touch something, a lag of about a second or more occurs before you recognize any feeling, or even that you touched anything at all.
  • All distances are wrong. The floor is wrong, objects are wrong, other people are wrong, etc.
  • You need to focus to get one place to another.
  • Other people may notice differences in your speech. You might not be able to.
  • You aren’t always sure people are speaking the same language as any you know. You might ask them to repeat themselves more than once.
  • You can do one task at most without extreme difficulty and/or slowness.
  • You feel as though you and the world are on separate planes.
  • You can’t remember much from these points in time. You might even have “lost time.”

Tier 3

  • You’ve lost all memory of this point.
  • Friends say you acted off, but that’s all you know.

Thanks for reading.

It’s the last day of @miraculous-weeks‘s AU week so how about this: WRECK-IT IVAN?

Seriously, you could swap out half the cast either way and the plots would remain exactly the same, that’s how well it fits.

- Ivan as Ralph, he’s giant and scary but actually adorable (not to mention, Stone Heart going around and wrecking Paris anyone? The most Ralph thing ever)
- Nino as Felix, because he’s adorable and wears a cap and is an actual polite sweetheart who likes to have fun :D
- Alix as Vanellope - THEY ARE LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME PERSON. TINY RACERS WHO ARE HELLBENT ON WINNING.
- Alya as Calhoun, she’s so hardcore and awesome and loves action and adventure!! (+DJwifi can exist now, yaaay)
- Nooroo as Sour Bill, having to obey the villain no matter what and is the only one to know the villain’s secret identity… save them both pls
- Chloe, Sabrina and Kim as Taffyta, Candlehead and Rancis. Chloe’s the head bully, Sabrina’s her sidekick who does everything she says, and Kim… just kinda sticks around and is a dork. (And also everyone ships Vanellope and Rancis so like there’s always heartrate if you’re into that?)
- Hawk Moth as Turbo. Whoever Hawk Moth is beneath the mask, that’s King Candy.

Bonus - please imagine this scene but with Ralph and Vanellope:

Morgan isn’t the only one who regularly snapchats about his daily family life though.

[related to this post]

Your weekly reminder that:

  • Victor Nikiforov’s name is officially spelled with a C as decided by the show’s writers
  • The YOI Wikia is WRONG, they know it and they refuse to correct their mistake, therefore invalidating their role as a source of objective, factual information. If they can’t even get a main character’s name spelled correctly, then none of their information can be considered reliable because who knows what else they changed just because the admins wanted. (ETA: At the very least now they have a note that acknowledges Victor as the canon spelling, but why they insist on keeping the incorrect one is beyond me)
  • If you write it with a K because “that’s more correct in Russian”, I hope you also write Atabek Altyn, Yuriy Plisetsky (or Yuri Plisetski) and Akuseeru, Ruuppu and Ruutsu Nishigoori, because those are more accurate and correct spellings in relation to those characters’ countries of origin, and if you don’t use those spellings, then you don’t care about being “culturally appropriate” and are just being stupid :D

If you spell it with a K for aesthetics… I mean that’s your prerrogative and I’m not gonna bitch at you for it but I’ll also never undestand why

There's been a lot of solas negativity on my dash lately, so I was wondering if you'd balance it out with some positivity? A few thoughts on his character maybe, whatever you have time for

Here are some very positive canon facts about Solas from the game, pulled from the top of my head. Feel free to add more!

  • When meeting Mother Giselle in the Hinterlands, Solas can be seen while using the flycam assisting some of the villagers hurt in the mage/templar conflict that occurred there.
  • Solas comforts Cole, Blackwall and Iron Bull with their trauma in their banters.
  • During a banter with Iron Bull, Solas expresses distaste at killing their enemies and remembers that each individual has a history and family.
  • When finding the dead Inquisition soldiers at the Storm Coast, Solas will say in a regretful voice that their families will need to be informed.
  • He wonders how Qunari get their shirts on
  • He is respectful of the idea of the Maker, and admires the idea of a God that doesn’t interfere with its people (Cassandra banter)
  • There is some mythical ambient conversation that I have never gotten from Josephine that involves Solas being unshakably polite after a noble throws a glass of wine at him.
  • The only time (afaik) he ever directly lies in the game is when he slips after Halamshiral and makes a comment about being at court. If the Inquisitor asks him when the fuck a wandering apostate was in court, he is forced to catch himself and lie, and it results in the only question you ask him that nets you disapproval points.
