Ah my people. Finally someone to understand why I’m so angry.
I work in a petstore and on one brand of dog food, they changed the package. Well we still have some old package, so the representative of the company put coupons on those bags to get them to sell.
A customer who demands xyz managers (who are not there) because she wants discounts. I tell her they are not in. (Oh she’s mad now) she goes and gets dog food. New package smaller bag ect. She demands to be able to use the coupon that is specifically for the old one.
“Well can’t I just try it? Let me see if they will ring it at the register!” She even tells me “I didn’t bring any coupons and this coupon would really help!” This is a cheaper brand of food maybe 15$ at most was her bag of food. She wants to use a $7 off coupon…. That was not meant for this bag simply because she didn’t bring any coupons. No. I told her no. The rep did this for a reason. She will not stop.
Finally I’m about to seriously just kill myself. She says “can you ask someone?” About ten times even though I told her why the rep did this and no the coupon even says! So she asks for a manager (off course) mind you he ingores me hell who knows where he is.
Finally I find him tell him what’s up. He tells her no! I’m like omg did a manager just have an employees back? I will buy a lotto- wait what?
Guys no joke, he got her a coupon for $25 off….. This happened several hours ago and I’m still pissed.
She hounds and pushes until she gets a discount and coupons every single time. The managers usually do it because it’s easier. I have seen her in public demand for a cashier (in a grocery store) because she shouldn’t have to wait in line! I couldn’t believe it. And they had several cashiers on no reasons for her bs besides that’s she’s just too important.
