no need for walls

((I will shove this under a read more later since that gets weird on the mobile app sometimes))

So I got a serires of comments from someone (will not name) on deviantart getting more and more upset that there were drawings of characters depressed or upset when they clearly are not in their respected shows.

Here’s the thing, ignorant dudes who don’t like that: fans are allowed to draw whatever they want, however they want, whether you agree or not. Do you have depression and need to draw your favourite character depressed? Do it.  Are you fuming after an arguement with a friend or your parents and you need to draw a character punching the wall in anger? Do it. Are you hurting after a betrayal and need to draw a character clutching their pet while crying into their fur for comfort? FREAKING DO IT. Nowhere did it say that when you draw fanart that you have to draw them exactly the way they are in the show. It’s human to want to see characters like Milo, Phineas, Mabel, Wander, etc break. You want to see them hurt like you. You want to see them feeling the same way you feel at times. You want them to be human. And that’s ok!

If you don’T want to draw them any way besides their happy little selves in the show, then that’s okay too! But don’t go raining on everyone’s parade the moment someone draws Milo with cuts on his wrists or MAbel taking medication for depression. Some people don’t agree, so just ignore it. You’re not going to like every dang fanart of your favourite show. Neither do I. But I am a strong believer that drawing a character feeling the same way as you do can help you cope with things. And just drawing them feeling the oppostie way than you normally see them is just fun in general. What Phineas and Ferb Fan didn’T like the “GET ON THE TRIKE!” moment in Summer Belongs to you?

So yeah, if anyone (including show runners) comes and rains on your parade for drawing your favourite character, the little optimitic bugger, hide in his bedsheet because he’s afraid of bullies or anything like that, There is a block button. You are very much allowed to block those people if ignoring doesn’t help. I was told once that I was weak because I hid behind the Block button, and I believed it when they said that. But don’t put yourself in that position. The Block button is there for a reason. Use it.

TL;DR: Go draw them babies the way you want to represent them! *throws confetti on your head*

at this point i’m really gonna need Lena to break the fourth wall. homegirl looks straight into the camera and says “my life completely sucks” cause her life completely sucks

anonymous asked:

What do you think ThorDizzee's future house would be like

i’m glad u asked…not to be extra but i just searched google and i want them to live here

or tbh any cute tiny home where they can have a garden in the backyard, that’s a Good Concept. like dizzee out in the backyard with his overalls on, planting some veggies while thor is chasing the dog around? i’m here for it. also they definitely need an art room, where they paint all over the walls every day and have fun unwinding together. (the only bad thing about a small house is that i’ve already set my mind on them having 4 kids so they need some space slkdfjshdd)

tips for the signs

aries: you need to relax and accept the fact that you won’t always be the best at everything. people will like you even if you mess up. also, life is not one giant competition - you don’t have to push every down to get to the top because that only leaves you alone in the end.

taurus: understand that losing a fight is okay. there is nothing wrong with wanting to get your opinion out there, but if you’re constantly shutting people down for the sake of winning then you’re going to end up hurting people. change the way you speak to others and people will learn to appreciate you more.

gemini: you will never be able to deal with your pain if you continue to mask it with sarcastic remarks and jokes. to feel pain is to be human, so allow yourself to express these emotions every now and then.

cancer: you’re not crazy for feeling all the emotions that you have, but shutting people out and refusing to speak about how you truly feel only causes you to lose people. people can’t read your mind and understand your true desires if you refuse to tell them, so you need to speak up.

leo: you have a way with words, but you tend to use it for deception rather than good. people would like you more if you stopped hiding behind an imagine all the time. also, your pride is a beast. you need to learn to tame it.

virgo: stop being so negative. putting yourself and others down does nothing to change the circumstances of the world you live in. if you continue to think badly about everything then people will eventually get tired of dealing with you. try to focus on the good things in life.

libra: you need to consider that not everyone understands that you’re flirty by nature. i understand you just want everyone to like you, but you need to become cautious of how others perceive you. you end up hurting a lot of people when they realize that this is just how you are and that you don’t actually feel anything for them.

scorpio:  stop refreshing your exes social media accounts every two seconds and learn to let go of the past - it’s the past for a reason. you really need to understand that it is okay to let go because you only hurt yourself when you continue to carry the pain around with you. so, learn to forgive others (and yourself) and move on. oh and hurting others won’t ease your pain.

sagittarius: life gets dull sometimes, but bringing chaos down upon yourself to ease this boredom is never a good idea. also, randomly cutting people off because you’re bored makes a lot of people end up hating you. learn to appreciate the people around you more and stop pushing them away for the next best thing.

capricorn: you’re afraid of being alone but you continue to shut people out. i know you’re scared of what might happen if people get to close to you, but you need to understand that pushing people away and building up incredibly high walls causes nothing but harm and loneliness. it’s okay to let people in.

aquarius: just like capricorn, you tend to cut ties before you can get hurt. but you need to understand that not everyone has bad intentions. let people in and experience the happiness that they can provide you. you deserve good things.

pisces: there is a difference between being in love and simple infatuation - you will save yourself from the pain once you realize this. and it’s okay to be selfish every now and then - you don’t have to put everyone else first.

the houses as studyblr aesthetics

gryffindor:

  • being brave enough to do math in pen, leather-bound bullet journals, looseleaf papers spilling over your desk, studying with your dog curled up next to you, seven-hour breaks, keeping a candle on your desk, logging memories in your bullet journal, coffee stains on homework, annotating a rented textbook, a warm study nook made of blankets and pillows, studying to overcome

hufflepuff:

  • romanticizing self-care, refusing to take the easy way and read the sparknotes, keeping hydrated, “i have extra binder paper if you need it”, taping positivities on your wall, study picnics, volunteering, bright binders, a study space illuminated by morning light, keeping three pots of flowers on your desk, studying to contribute

ravenclaw:

  • finding doodles in secondhand textbooks, researching the origin of a word you don’t recognize, pens in mason jars, walls crowded by sticky-notes, the inspiration of a blank notebook, finding your favorite library seat available, being excited about your essay prompt, scrawling notes in the margins, being so utterly engaged in one subject you forget you have a lab due tomorrow, studying to learn

slytherin:

  • quotes about conquering the world and achieving goals, finding the perfect black pen, the feeling of checking off boxes on to-do lists, friendly grade competition, compiling resource masterposts, being genuinely excited to get your score back on a test, getting the perfect calligraphy line, studying to succeed

Docks: Holding Area - in which many feels were had. These two tho, amirite??

When a bad guest leaves

Sometimes, as much as we try to be polite, we can’t help but be relieved to see people leave after an extended stay. Maybe they overstayed their welcome, or were more of a nuisance than you anticipated when you offered the invitation. But now they’re gone, and the cleansing and banishing can begin!

Cleanse your space

An annoying guess can leave your house in physical and emotional turmoil. Wash sheets and tidy up the space they stayed in for sanitary purposes, but also to banish the negative energy they brought with them. Once you’ve finished cleaning, take a broom and sweep all the negativity out the front door.

Cleanse yourself

Bad guests are stressful. Your guest may be gone, but the stress that’s piled up during their stay is still present. Calming bath helps physically relax while also soaking away any negativity that clung to you while you were cleaning. Finish the bath off with an exfoliating body scrub to wash the ick away, and lotion as a physical protective ward (and necessary hydration!).

Practice grounding

Having visitors can be limiting, and it’s likely some aspect of your daily routine has been interrupted during their stay. Now is the time to reclaim things and make your space feel like home again. Once your decor is as it should be and secret notebooks are out of hiding, light some incense or candles to help give the area an emotional reset. Hearty, filling meals (like things containing root vegetables) help provide emotional grounding.

Set up wards

This isn’t a necessary step, but it’s a good added precaution. When you get sick you become more susceptible to other infections, and the same can happen with spaces filled with negativity. Setting up a few wards can help to repel any other gunk that ends up being drawn your way. Because the issue is someone who brought negativity into your home, the best placement for wards would likely be your overall home or property, the room they stayed in, and where they slept. The type of ward varies by personal preference and the issues brought on by their presence.

You give me a feeling that I never felt before
And I deserve it, I think I deserve it
It’s becoming something that’s impossible to ignore

I wasn’t expecting this anime to take over my life. Make sure to bury me with a copy of episode 7 lmao

13 year old girl vs The Wall

We just started a new campaign, this time we began as slaves in a battle royal against 3 gladiators.

Cleric: rolls to attack and misses

Gladiator 1 (6'2" with halberd): HAHAHA puny human I will crush you! No one can topple The Wall!

Our 5ft tall half orc ranger child: “I don’t need to topple the wall if I can climb it!” rolls an athletics check to scale the gladiator, passes, then proceeds to attack his exposed neck and rolls a 17 and a nat 20 on a dual short sword attack and nearly removes The Walls head from his body.

Our 13 year old girl toppled The Wall saving the cleric’s life
