Oh my god, in last night’s Bob’s Burgers, Bob takes Gene to a laser light rock show at the planetarium (super important to Bob, because it was his favorite when he was a teenager, and this is the last night before they’re closing the exhibit because it’s old and no one goes anymore, also it’s Bob’s birthday), and Gene has no idea what he’s in for, but he gets pumped for it anyway ‘cause Bob’s so excited about it, and finally they get in there and they’re watching it, and Gene has a sensory overload and kinda starts freaking out ‘cause he can’t handle it, so Bob takes him out and they sit in the car for a bit. Gene’s angry because Bob didn’t tell him it would be so loud and scary, so Bob offers to play the album for Gene at a normal volume, and Gene starts to enjoy it, so he reclines the seats, takes out the cigarette lighter, tells Gene to pretend it’s a laser, and starts drawing in the air, explaining the plot to him (it’s like a full on Pink Floyd or Rush-esque rock opera about a bunch of robot overlords telling rockers that they can’t play music anymore, and one Rebel rising against them). Gene gets really into it and decides he wants to see the finale of the laser show (which Bob regards as a life-changing experience), so they sneak back into the planetarium (there’s no re-entry allowed) with a few tricks that parallel the story from the album, and watch the climax of the show together (Bob fashions some earplugs for Gene out of a napkin). On the way home, Bob’s asking Gene how he liked it, and Gene says “I loved it!”, Bob asks him to speak louder ‘cause his ear’s are shot, and Gene yells, “I LOVED IT, DAD”. Bob yells back “I love you too, Gene”.
I FUCKING!!! CAN’T!!! DEAL!!!! WITH HOW GOOD THIS SHOW IS!!! I know i don’t talk about Bob’s Burgers a lot but this show is flawless and charming and gross and funny all at the same time, the characters are written like people with actual fears and anxieties, and unlike a lot of comparable shows, the comedy doesn’t come from the family being pitted against each other, it’s always the family against the world… I love it, I love it, it’s so pure and refreshing and still somehow manages to be funny without sacrificing it’s heart, and I fuckin’ love it, please watch Bob’s Burgers holy CRAP okay I’m done.
I’m tired of smut just being porn star worthy, professional, distant fucking
give me fic smut where the characters are new and awkward and ‘oh my god am I doing this right?’ and 'no, oh my fuck you don’t put it there’
give me fic smut where the characters are crying but not like 'that’s good dick’ crying or 'shit that hurts’ crying but rather 'oh my god I love this person more than life and we’re so close right now’ crying, gimme some of that full out bawling
give me fic smut where it’s all a joke and they’re doing anything they can to purposefully kill the mood just to make the other one laugh
give me fic smut where they’re trying things out and maybe things don’t go as planned but they keep going anyway and have a good time
give me fic smut where the characters are literally teasing each other the whole time, but not like sexually teasing but more like insults that are their way of flirting like 'ow you bit my tongue, nice going you clumsy asshole’ and 'fuck you, I made you spaghetti and this is the thanks I get?’
give me fic smut where they laugh, be it because one of them did something funny/embarrassing or because they’re just happy????
like can people in smut fics be more than attracted to each other and not just sex machines with their only priority being fucking???
unpopular opinion: there’s no way we can get a great garnet episode at this point
aka why i can understand why garnet stopped having episodes dedicated to her.
this isnt to justify the lack of episodes dedicated to her, but rather my anger and frustrations with the crewniverse for repeatedly stunting any development for her and turning her into a really bland and overly forgiving mom character
she was awkward, she would turn violent if you pushed her hard enough, she over estimates steven, she can lose focus easily, her stoic persona made her come off as uncaring and intimidating
after jailbreak, keeping it together and cry for help you would think garnet would face new conflicts such as trust issues, dealing with PTSD, coping with horrific imagery, letting things go, etc
but no. we never get any of that. we’re not ALLOWED to get any of that. instead all that emotion and turmoil is given to ruby and sapphire. really godbless these characters, i still love them to death and despite some of my issues with keystone motel, its still a really solid and enjoyable ep. But this arc was supposed to be about garnet being hurt. pearl was jealous of garnet and pearl hurt garnet. when pearl was insulting sugilite no one went “how rude of pearl to insult amethyst and garnet”. We all understood that sugilite was a separate identity who made her own decisions and garnet and amethyst weren’t influencing it.
even when ruby and sapphire were angry about how they were hurt, RUBY was in the wrong because she didnt want to forgive pearl right away and sapphire told her that forgiving pearl was the right thing. ignoring the fact that that was a terrible message to send, that you need to just forgive people who hurt you right away just because they’re close friends, we never get a chance to see garnet vent and show her anger. even in Friend Ship, it ended with garnet playing the life coach for pearl DESPITE pearl not giving a proper apology and instead making bad excuses and using guilt tripping tactics (”im not strong enough” “im just useless”). its like the tumblr equivalent of someone going “i know i did something bad i get it im trash i deserve to die”. But garnet can’t shut that down can she? garnet cant receive a good apology can she? no she has to sit down and stroke Pearl’s ego for a goddamn minute.
garnet cant express her feelings because that’s wrong and bad! pearl can scream at a child and smack a wall simply because he tried to be supportive but garnet cant be mad. garnet’s not allowed to express her feelings. Friend Ship and Cry For Help made me realize something awful.
when garnet’s mad its not sympathetic, it’s scary.
back in season 1 I forgave it since garnet was an imposing figure. she’s weird and mysterious. when she was mad it was over things like accidentally getting her glasses knocked off and ronaldo kidnapping steven. you could laugh at the situation with her and not really take her anger seriously enough
so you would think given the circumstances, the writers would understand that we should sympathize with garnet since she was violated. which isnt at all funny and nearly made her defuse.
But you’re not supposed to empathize with garnet. you’re not supposed to relate to her. You’re not supposed to go “poor garnet thats so messed up”. you’re instead supposed to react like “Yeah that was messed up but WHY is she mad at pearl :(”
amethyst complains about the house being awkward and taking neither sides despite it clearly being something that she should be supporting garnet in. steven doesnt support garnet either. when pearl snapped at steven in Rose’s Scabbard, steven chases after her and spends some time with her to lift her mood. But steven didn’t care to do anything for garnet. Steven didn’t invite her to come to the motel. Steven didn’t take the time to talk to her. and Steven didn’t make any attempt to relate to her.
and yet guess who did get the good ol’ “get coddled like a baby” treatment.
pearl. someone who was the cause of all this drama. who not only violated a friend several times, but delayed their mission and risked endangering everyone for the sake of feeling good about herself. but ofc the writer’s woobie fave could never do anything wrong :(
an entire arc that should’ve been meant to flesh out both garnet and pearl ended up shelving garnet and treating pearl like the victim in all of this. that SHE’S the one who needs help.
a black woman who sang a song about the importance of love and fusion, who nearly fell apart when she saw forced fusions, is not the victim in this. the Cry For Help was about pearl. garnet needed to drop all her feelings for pearl.
And afterwards it just went downhill from there. its like the show completely gave up on garnet.
more focus and screen time was given to ruby and sapphire, who again i love, but get more development than garnet.
and finally we reach “Log Date 7 15 2″ or as i like to call it “the rise of magical negro garnet”
Peridot’s comments don’t piss off Garnet. You don’t see her get visibly angry. She barely musters a response except for mildly bored look. I wasn’t asking for “garnet beats up peridot for being a homophobe”, but I know very well that garnet would not be the type to just allow Peridot to spend several days making off color comments. Garnet looks bored to mildly pleased.
You could call this character development except… not really? Garnet smiling more does not equal Garnet being way more tolerant of disrespectful behavior. But since this was an arc for peridot i forgave it a bit.
But then came episodes like Gem Harvest where Garnet would seriously be the last person to just shut up and tolerate Andy’s disrespectful behavior. And in Mindful Education we see garnet using ruby and sapphire to express how they handle trauma rather than Garnet using her own emotions.
Garnet isn’t flawed anymore. Garnet doesn’t make awkward comments or act in ways that are oddly violent. She’s not brash or passionate. She’s just there to offer advice.
Finally there’s Room For Ruby, an episode that made me sit and go “there is no way in hell this is the same garnet before”
garnet was already cautious with Steven trying to train a corrupted gem, why would she not even moniter him teaching Navy about earth (i know they think she’s dumb but she’s not an animal and there’s a reason why the diamonds sent out those rubies)
garnet saw a future where navy did not care about being a crystal gem and did nothing. excuse me? Garnet says herself her future vision works like a river with various streams connecting to it, and relies on the future thats most common (she when she jumped in front of a spilled coffee pot to protect steven). garnet even understood at the end of the episode that bad futures are possible and risky, and if they’re most common she needs needs to act on it. why on earth would garnet see a future where navy takes the ship and leave and not do anything about it
she was waaaaay too laxed about steven failing to stop navy. remember when she said she was terrified of Blue Diamond? Or when she smashed a warp pad just for seeing peridot show up?
garnet’s cool with everything now. she doesnt care. she became the most assertive member of the team to the most passive. she’s easy to convince and push. she lacks any depth outside of “quiet mom who smiles sometimes”.
i cant believe im saying this but i honestly thing the crew fucked with her personality harder than lapis. because at least in lapis’s case, there was no concrete identity for her.
but there was one for garnet, one we all loved.
awkward, funny, quirky, sensitive and assertive garnet.
the writers could have developed it more and jailbreak made me believe we were going to see more of her. but instead the writers decided decided “Garnet with layered personalities is a bit too much for us. so we gotta simplify her. make her the walking shoulder to cry on. the friend that enables everything you do, she just loves steven and thats all that matters.”
and that’s all garnet is now. she’s almost like peridot. happy go lucky, overly forgiving and a shell of her former self.
- do NOT be discouraged if you don’t have the energy or emotional capacity to practice every day.
- do NOT berate yourself for not being as active as other witches. you are still a witch, and you are still valid!
- instead of organizing, and setting aside hours for ritual, or practice just try and involve magick in your everyday life.
- only have the energy to shower? focus on cleansing yourself of negative vibes and feelings. let the water cleanse you and allow your intent to shine through while you bathe.
- can’t manage to get out of bed? meditate. ground yourself. snuggle with your crystals. you’ll feel better, I promise.
- self care in itself can be a magickal experience.
- but, if you aren’t feeling in the mood to do anything, don’t. take care of yourself first, think about the magickal side of your activities later when you’re feeling better.
- magick isn’t all about fancy materials, and hours of dedication, regardless of what people may tell you. just do what you can and put a magickal spin on the activities you can comfortably participate in if you have the energy to do so.
- your practice is NEVER paramount to your HEALTH and WELL-BEING!
- you’ve got this, you’re valid, you’re loved, and I fully believe in you!
Summary: Dean’s hit with a strong case of curiosity. Pure,
uncontrollable curiosity that leads to him finding a treasure trove of nasty little things.

I’m still working on some of the requests you guys have sent in and other WIP’s as the mood/will to do anything but cry in a corner hits me (lol but I’m fine tho I swear) I hope you guys enjoy my contribution for Smut Appreciation Day 2017!
The first time Dean “snoops"—it’s by
Sam had lent him his phone after Dean’s had been
compromised on the hunt that they had just finished. Long story short; phone in
pocket plus getting pushed into pool by werewolf equals no bueno. Dean pulled up the messaging app to shoot the hunter that
been helping them out a text to let him know that everything had been squared away, but when
Dean went to tap compose message, his thumb took a sharp left and ended up
pulling up the messages between you and Sam.
YOU BETTER LISTEN CAUSE WE REALLY NEED TO TALK ABOUT EPISODE 6 OF ONE FINE DAY IN JAPAN AND HOW IT SHOWS BABY BOO’S PLACE IN THE GROUP
First off, right in the first few minutes of the episode, Seungkwan finds out he’s switching from the generally lighthearted dongsaeng team to the hyung team where absolute power has corrupted absolutely. It’s a dramatic change in dynamic, especially so since Seungkwan will immediately become the youngest member and likely made to do lots of menial grunt work. It demonstrates, however, that the hyung team really wants Seungkwan’s ability to be humorous and fun on the team, and that they believe he can turn the atmosphere into a more amusing one. From the start, they value Seungkwan’s ability to sense atmosphere and mood and help turn it to good.
Also in this episode, a little after, is the big “Seventeen Fight” on One Fine Day in Japan. Throughout the entire tense situation, Seungkwan stays very quiet but you can tell he’s super uncomfortable. He’s the last one of the hyung team to leave the room, looking back and forth as if he really wants to say something. He also tells Wonwoo, Jun and Woozi that he thinks Hoshi was much, much more upset than he was letting on and that he actually understands Hoshi’s point of view. But then Woozi says that Coups is probably angry too. Seungkwan knows that he’s new in this team, as well as the youngest, and that he can’t go up to Coups and say that he wants them to work it out. But you can tell he’s very unsettled by the entire situation. Luckily, Joshua and Jeonghan talk Coups around to the idea of talking it out with Hoshi and resolving the feelings instead of leaving them the way they were. Seungkwan stays quiet during that meeting, but as it progresses his body language starts to become more relaxed, looking around instead of staring blankly ahead and nodding in agreement and even cheering along at the end, and as the night progresses he eats snacks with the others and laughs and makes jokes as well. In this situation, Seungkwan demonstrated his emotional intuitiveness. He could tell Hoshi was actually much more angry than he seemed, and he was uncomfortable with the situation and even felt empathy over the “opposing” side’s anger. However, he also sensed the mood and atmosphere of the hyung team and immediately began to acclimate to his new position in the group. He knew he couldn’t take it to Coups right away, but I’ll bet if a day had passed or a few hours longer he would’ve taken some action, such as going to Jeonghan and asking Jeonghan to help bring Coups around.
Fast forward to the next morning! Jun has been chosen as the new leader, and he’s very uncertain of himself. He needs to wake the members up. We see Seungkwan with him, and either he woke Seungkwan first, or Seungkwan woke up and saw his uncertainty and decided to help. The first scenario would demonstrate Jun’s trust in Seungkwan to be able to ease his situation by helping him along the way and laughing at his jokes and offering encouragement, and the second scenario would demonstrate Seungkwan’s emotional intuition again. Either way, Seungkwan naturally falls in and starts subtly helping Jun along, making suggestions of what he should do. Then, as they get in the car, Coups makes a bit of a joking remark about Jun’s authority (”now that you’re captain you think you’re all that) which of course would’ve been humorous with any of the other captains who were playfully dictators. However, Seungkwan knows Jun’s uncertainty surrounding his leader-ly duties and immediately starts to reassure him (”you are all that, Jun. You’ve got this”) which is just passed off as Seungkwan flattering Jun but I think was a very sincere gesture to encourage and defend his spirits.
AND THEN, to top it off if that wasn’t enough, when Vernon wants to ride the snowboard instead of skis he immediately offers to switch with him even though originally he was one of the first to suggest they pick boards and raise his hands to vote and then even to jump up and down when they got boards. And even after making the sacrifice and he has a hard time skiing, he never once says that he wished he had done boarding instead. Even as much as starting to yell and cheer for DK when DK has to have help coming down and telling him that he’s doing a good job facing his fears so he isn’t distressed that he isn’t doing well.
Seungkwan in this episode demonstrates that he’s constantly paying attention to the mood of the members and doing whatever he can to help it. Sometimes that means letting Coups burn off his steam instead of going right away. Sometimes that means subtly giving Jun orders when Jun is the leader to help him feel like he isn’t lost and worthless. And sometimes it means direct sacrifice when he has something that both he and Vernon wants. Being in-tune emotionally to those around you is hard and tiring. It very often ends up becoming depressed and resentful towards yourself when you can’t resolve a situation and lift a mood and anxious because you feel like everyone else’s enjoyment of things has become your personal responsibility and if someone is in a bad mood it’s all your fault for not doing anything to stop them. However, Seungkwan manages his well and he works so, so hard to appreciate and love and help the other members when he can and knowing when he can’t and accepting that for what it is. Seungkwan’s personality is so important to the dynamic of Seventeen, to the kind spirit they maintain between members, to the harmony and enjoyment and humor of the group. But this episode also demonstrates that the members realize that, Jun accepts the help and maybe even asks Seungkwan for it and Coups and the other hyung members decide they want Seungkwan on their team because they can feel the gap his absence has made.
TL;DR, Seungkwan is a freakin gift and a sweetheart who always wants to help his members and his members are realizing this and you all should too and appreciate his big heart for everyone around him.
Cassian Andor is an aspiring novelist, tired of his screenwriting job in Los Angeles. While on vacation with his fiancee in Paris, he takes to touring the city alone, getting lost in its history and cobblestoned streets. Then, on one fateful night when the clock strikes twelve, Cassian is swept away to the 1920′s—the Jazz Age of art and literature. But the more time he spends time with his cultural heroes, the more dissatisfied he becomes with his present. Especially when he meets Jyn, a beauty and muse, who also catches the eyes of the likes of Pablo Picasso and Ernest Hemingway.
A thing you probably don’t know about me is that sometimes I get in this mood where I don’t want to do anything but spend every spare moment binge-watching House, M.D. for several days at a time. I was on ep 2.15, “Clueless,” AKA that one where Wilson crashes at House’s place for a while, when inspiration struck and this Sterek drabble happened. Or… It’s almost 2k words, so maybe it’s a bit more than a drabble, BUT it’s still a drabble in spirit. (Rated T.)
It’s almost midnight when Derek finally shoulders on his coat, locks his office door, and steps out, only to spot Stiles crouched in front of the vending machine at the end of the hall, whacking the glass with the heel of his palm and muttering darkly.
Derek can’t just ignore him; he never can. (It’s a bit of a problem, and everyone in the hospital seems to know it, except for Stiles.) Before he knows it, he’s changed tracks and walked right over. “What are you still doing here?”
Stiles sits back on his heels to look up at him. “Bob ate my dollar and I’m feeling petty so I’m trying to get it back.”
“Bob?” Derek asks, a split second before he remembers that Stiles named the vending machine. It’s just this kind of thing that makes Derek feel guilty for sometimes looking at Stiles’ mouth a little too long, or pausing to let his eyes follow Stiles’ progress down the hall. Stiles isn’t a kid or anything, but he’s still only 26 to Derek’s 32, and he’s still got a year of residency to go. A lot of times, like when he’s jamming out to his iPod while he looks over lab work or doing stupid stuff like naming the vending machines, he seems to Derek more like a college kid than a grown man with a medical license and a house and a girlfriend.
Stiles goes back to hitting the vending machine, and Derek remembers why he originally came over here. “Didn’t your shift end at 7?”
Stiles smirks up at him, and Derek tries very, very hard not to imagine him making that same face in certain… other contexts. “What, you got my schedule memorized now, Dr. Hale? I’m flattered.”
It would make Derek’s life a lot easier if so much of what Stiles said didn’t come out sounding so flirtatious. Derek crosses his arms over his chest. “You’re deflecting.”
19, 27, and/or 29 for the cuddling prompts, depending on how much you wanna make me cry!
Ok, first of all: thanks for these! I’ll do 19. at some point, but somehow 27. AND 29. spoke to me just now so here you go. I’m sorry. (And I really should be working and not writing fanfiction)
!Warning: Character Death!
27. + 29. First and last cuddle
“Hmm, you smell
Mulder.” She coos, cuddling closer to Mulder’s weak, slight frame. Her
hand is on his chest, making sure it still raises and falls, raises and falls
in a steady rhythm. It hasn’t been steady for a while, she reminds herself; the
sad reality constricts her throat as her hand caresses him.
“Hm, but you do.
I can’t really… see you…but I can still smell you.” He takes a deep
breath, causing Scully’s own to hitch in fear of the inevitable, and then
chuckles softly. Soft puffs of air tickle her cheek. His eye sight deteriorated
last week and as much as he still smiles about it, Scully knows that he is now
almost completely blind. Last night, when she could no longer hold her tears at
bay, watching him from the doorway just laying there unmoving, his gaze on
hers, that’s when she knew. His eyes were on hers, as always, but they were no
longer seeing her. Maybe in memory, or maybe in his dreams; she can only hope.
“Should have done
this… more often.” Mulder murmurs against her. His voice is so raw, so
weak. She’d tell him to be quiet, but she’s also selfish; before the silence
takes him, and buries her, she wants to listen to him like she used to do for
the last decades. Soon, way too soon, there will be only silence to listen to.
“You’re right. We
didn’t do this nearly enough,” Scully closes her eyes, buries her face in
his chest; still raising, still falling. Ever so gently, but still there. Still
holding on. He’s always held on, always refused to let go. She’s the same, she
knows. When her hand tightens around him, afraid to let go too soon, she feels
his ribs poke her; there’s not much left of him, now. The disease eating away
at him, continuously. “Do you remember the first time we did this?”
“Do you remember,
Mulder? The first time we cuddled.” Her eyes still closed, Scully wishes
herself back; both of them so young, still wary of what had always been between
“Tell me, Scully.
Please tell me.” His hand is on her back; there’s no pressure, just a
reminder that he’s still there. It feels clammy, foreign almost; and Scully
presses her eyes shut, to stop the flood of tears, and to keep reality far
away. She’s never been one for nostalgia, that’s Mulder’s forte, but now…
“It was after
Donnie Pfaster,” she begins with a soft voice, not unlike the gentle words
she used once, so long ago, when she told their baby boy about his miracle
conception, “After the first time we crossed paths with him. I was shaking
so much. You kept your arm around me. Even when the police came to question me,
you never once left my side no matter how often I told you I was fine. You knew
I wasn’t. You always knew it. There was no way we were going home that night
and so we went to a hotel. Remember, Mulder?” He doesn’t answer and Scully
goes on, trying to conjure up the moment again, and tries to hang on to it.
“I told you again
‘I’m fine, Mulder’ and I expected you to huff, or say anything, but that’s not
what you did. You know what you did, Mulder? You took me into your arms. You
just held me while I cried. I don’t remember… you always remembered the little
details better than I did, Mulder. I’m sure you could tell me exactly what I
was wearing, how my face looked, things you and I said that night. I don’t.
That’s not what this was about. You let me have the bed, of course, and I told
you I didn’t want to be alone. When you held me that night, Mulder, for the
very first time… I felt so safe. You always made me feel safe, Mulder. No
matter what we were… I was always safe when I was with you. I wish… oh Mulder,
I wish you’d remember that night.”
His chest under her
face, still now, no longer raising, no longer falling. Still now, like his
heart, the memory is all that’s left. Now.

Kira slammed her locker door, raising an eyebrow at you. “You’re not coming to the party?”
You shook your head, your arms tightening around the books you were holding. “Nah. I’m not in the party mood.”
“This wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact that Stiles isn’t going either, would it?” Lydia asked from beside you, a knowing look on her pretty face.
You scoffed, rolling your eyes. “No. What Stiles Stilinski chooses to do does not dictate my every decision.”
