Sorry for the wait! I wanted to get these pages as right as possible. Sometimes pages like these take me longer because there’s a certain mood I want to capture. Also Photoshop takes forever to save all the changes because hundreds of layers >_> I hope it was worth it :’) I hope they turned out alright D: I’m really nervous about this update for some reason.
Also just take these pages away from me JUST TAKE THEM I SPENT TOO MUCH TIME FUSSING OVER THEM I CAN’T KEEP DOING THIS I’LL NEVER GET DONE AND I NEED TO SLEEP
It just struck me the other day that Gideon Emery ended up voicing two warriors powered by lyrium… why that then translated into parfum ads is further proof someone needs to take photoshop away from me.
Bond discovering Q's folder of memes that he made of his cats? (a fluffy prompt for you, hope your evening is better than your day)
As always, prompts are open! Please feel free to ask away!
No warnings apply this time, except maybe that I’ve spent too much time on tumblr and it’s pretty obvious.
It begins, as many things do in this day and age, with a picture of a cat.
It’s not just any cat–Bond has a feeling he’s seen this one before. He’s no expert on feline identification, but it looks remarkably like a cat that he’s seen in Q’s labs from time to time, on the hunt for mice silly enough to scurry about in a predator’s lair.
The thing that makes it remarkable is the single block of text overlayed over the image. The text is in all capital letters, and the white stands in stark contrast to the image, though it’s far from a dark picture.
“BODE” it says over the cat. Bond looks from the word to the cat. It’s certainly a bigger cat, but that doesn’t seem to have any relevance. Perhaps someone misspelled “body”, but in that case, why the picture of the cat? Why the capital letters? The more Bond thinks about it, frowning at the printout, the odder it seems. “E” and “Y” aren’t exactly close together on the keyboard, and individuals on a QWERTY keyboard tend to use opposite hands to touch the keys. A typo, therefore, is improbable, so BODE cannot be a misspelling of body. Code, maybe? Bide? Bose? It occurs to Bond that BODE may, in fact, be the name of the cat. It makes about as much sense as anything else he’s come up with.
