Jinyoung's reaction when his crush /best friend/ always says she's happy alone and she doesn't need anyone but at the same time she loves to cuddle him and does a lot of "innocent" physical contact? Thank you! :)

whines about your contradiction, but he’s happy to cuddle up a little, until he gets frustrated and needs a walk to think things through

The Seventh Wheel: A Case for Black Lion Lance

Alternatively titled: Lance Deserves The World Because He is My Son and I Love Him

Okay, so Shiro’s gone and someone’s gotta fill his big ass shoes. In the toss-up between him, Allura, and Keith, I’m going to be arguing in this post that Lance could be the guy to do it. And, fair warning, this is going to be ridiculously (like, ridiculously) long lmao so here’s the TL;DR right now: I think that a) Lance already shows the character traits of a good leader, and b) there’s a good chance of him becoming one, given his impending character arc.

It also has a chance of not happening, of course, but who cares?? I already started writing this thing, so:

Alright, let’s begin at the beginning, because that’s always a good place to start.

Lance is first introduced to the audience as the classic loud, arrogant, goofy flirt. The perfect comic relief character. He rescues a guy because his “rival” was gonna do it first and he can’t have that, the first thing he does in the giant robot cat is fart, and he hits on a girl who just fell out of a pod in a magic castle. He’s there to make you laugh.

I can’t imagine anyone looking at a character like that and “You know what? This guy could be a leader.” Allura says it herself in episode 1. The black lion is supposed to be the decisive head of Voltron, a person who’s a natural born leader, who’s in control, and,

Basically, calm, collected, and respected. “A natural born leader.” So, definitely not Lance. Case closed.

But, not really. Because Lance actually is calm and collected. He’s just not respected. He has all the leadership traits– the problem is that he’s not treated as someone who could be a leader.

okay one last thing before i stop drawing for the day

so i really wanted to make an au for cc and after some thinking i figured i could do a coraline au!!

basically everything takes place at the camp, max would be like a new camper showing up, nikki is a fucking furry bc i didn’t think anyone else fit very well (i mean heck nikki isn’t a perfect fit but oh well) david and gwen would still be counselors but they would take the role of coraline’s parents y’know?

and daniel and gen/jen? would be like the other parents

my dudes

my buddies

my pals

Let’s be real for a second in terms of like where this show is headed with regards to my favorite character (surprise it’s Lance jk no one is surprised)

Recently this tweet happened:

And some people are taking this really well and other people… not so much. Which makes sense since all of us have been like #thirstin for something more for Lance and have been met with a lotta nothing, but I think this tweet is actually a good thing.

So in this recent interview with Kimberly, Josh, and Jeremy, Jeremy basically says what he’s been saying since day 1 that’s been echoed by a lot of the other cast members and crew.

Basically: Lance will step up to the plate and he’ll become more of a leader and take on more responsibility but at the end of the day…

Lance.

Is.

Lance.

And when people ask for more about Lance in terms of his character, you don’t really hear much beyond this, which is exTRemEly frustrating but just hear me out.

It might not be this deep but I think it’d be cool if there’s a reason for the Voltron team being so adamant in the fact that “Lance is Lance.” And he will always be no matter what. This can go one of two ways.

1. Lance is Lance because he will always only be comic relief. 6 seasons of comic relief. That’s him. He’s Lance. A flirt. Cocky. Goofy. Sure he might have some moments like we’ve seen in S1 and S2 but for the most part he’s there to be the team goofball to make everyone laugh (or groan with frustration and annoyance)

Which is shitty and terrible and I will be so angry if this is what goes down but for now let’s move onto the MUCH BETTER option 2.

2. Lance does become a leader (maybe a co-leader? Right hand man? stays the Blue Paladin and just kinda steps up more? whatever) but no matter how tough things get, no matter how worn down the team is, no matter how hopeless the situation seems, Lance can still be Lance. And I don’t just mean he’s able to crack a joke at a tense time to lighten the mood, though that also is a part of it. I mean that he is able to keep a level head and calmly think things through even in chaotic or near impossible situations

That he is always concerned about the well-being of other and is willing to lay down his life for his friends (AKA PEOPLE HE JUST MET)

That he’s also not afraid to call out these friends when he thinks they are making a mistake (there seems to be a running theme with this one…..)

That he’s also appreciative of his friends and pays attention to their needs/wants and their strengths

And that he will always go down swinging

But maybe most importantly, and this is what I hope the Voltron team is trying to get at, Lance will never lose his joy and excitement and happy go-lucky demeanor. This is what makes him the Blue Paladin (and also why I think he would make a great Black Paladin but anyways….). He’s the glue of the team and this means more than just being the comic relief and making ill-timed jokes.

I really love the Lance that is able to start a weird space spore fight or wants to knit sweaters for Arusians. I love the Lance that enjoys doing a crazy dance while explaining their extremely dangerous plan to defeat Zarkon. I love the Lance that has fun coming up with wild ideas about what else could be locked up in Beta Traz. It’s not that he’s not taking his job as a Paladin seriously but rather that he is trying to take this crazy situation in stride as much as possible. We know that he can be worried, insecure, and lonely, but this never stops him from being who he is. He stumbles, loses confidence, regains it, and stands back up again ready to start swinging at the next asshole who decides to come for him and his friends.

Lance is adaptable just like water. He might come in different forms (serious, competitive, caring, homesick, flirtatious, etc) but at the end of the day it’s all of it is a part of who he is. He might need to get better at figuring out the appropriate timing of being leader Lance or flirty Lance, but it’s not like he has to lose the more immature part of him to become a more well-developed character.

So when people say “Lance will always be Lance,” I’m actually pretty fucking thankful. I’ve read some Langst where Lance becomes more “Keith-like” to cope with his insecurities which……. I’m conflicted about. I don’t think he needs to go as far as NOT be him in order for the team to learn to appreciate him more. So I think this affirmation from the staff that Lance will always be himself no matter what makes me believe that he will be what keeps the team together through the difficult and tumultuous times to come. That even despite his clear self-doubt he will be able to put the team and others first and maintain his role as the glue. That he will still manage to grow and change as a Paladin AND maintain the things that make him Lance.

There will be growing pains, of course, (I’m guessing a lot to do with Keith) but just because he’s insecure doesn’t make him weak. Lance doesn’t have to become more serious or stoic in order to be taken more seriously or be more “mature.” Then he wouldn’t be the Lance we know and love. He can withstand the challenges to come and develop as a character without sacrificing these integral parts of himself. He is capable of SO MUCH and I can’t wait for him to unlock the potential that was always there within him and makes him who he is.

the bayard is the paladin is the lion: a season 3 prediction

Alternatively titled: Watch This Child Jeopardize Her GPA in Real Time As She Ignores Her Midterms to Write Yet Another Fucking Meta

The lovely @littleblackchats already wrote an awesome post about the symbolism of the bayards for each of the characters in Voltron. But I was wondering: could we take it a step further and use the weapons - and what they say symbolically about the paladins wielding them - to make an informed guess about who’s going to end up in what lion next season?

(even if the answer to that question is no, i’m already writing this so whatever)

Since Allura, Keith, and Lance are the most likely to be swapped into new lions (or, in Allura’s case, to be put into a lion for the first time), I thought it’d be cool to take a look at what the weapons each of them wields says about their personalities, and whether that can give us hints as to who’s gonna be the Black Paladin next season while Shiro’s gone.

Alright, so in episode 1, Allura tells us that a lion’s quintessence is mirrored in its paladin, and that the paladin shapes the bayard. So lion = paladin = bayard. The lion and paladin should be similar in personalty, and the bayard should be compatible to the paladin’s style of fighting and personality as well. This is shown really well in Hunk and Pidge: Pidge’s weapon is small (like her), electric (reflecting her interest in computers), and made for precision (Pidge is more interested in finding clever solutions than just brute-forcing problems), while Hunk’s is big (just like him), long-range (reflecting his wish to stay distanced from conflict), and packs a punch (Hunk is the strongest character on the team, after all).

So the weapons tell us something about the personalities of the ones using them. But what can their respective weapons tell us about Keith, Lance, and Allura?

about shiro not backing keith’s story in bom: i think there’s other factors that a lot of people overlook. namely, the fact that shiro’s response isn’t just him reacting to an isolated incident–its him finally putting together the pieces after a long time of dealing with constant doubt and concern. because he knows something’s up with keith. in season 2, he’s the only one that does. on two separate occasions, he takes keith aside and tries to talk to him, to ask him what’s wrong, to try and get him to open up. and every time keith shuts him out? you can see the fear on shiro’s face, can see that he feels like they’re slowly drifting apart and he’s losing keith

these two strike me as friends who probably used to tell each other everything. so the fact that keith is refusing to talk now, that he’s forcing this distance between them? shiro doesn’t know what to think. and when he sees keith has this alien knife and is maybe part galra? maybe isn’t even from earth at all? shiro is very quickly finding out that this person he’s very close to, someone who he thought he knew everything about, is quite literally becoming alien. his best friend is suddenly a stranger, and he’s questioning whether he ever even knew him at all

looking at shiro’s face here, he looks just as panicked as keith. despite how good he is at improvising and acting, he doesn’t even have it in him to scrape together an excuse or cover story. he’s genuinely shocked, and just blurts the words out without thinking. “I…I don’t know”–he hesitates, stumbles. he’s seeing the person he thought he was really close to in a whole new light, and he doesn’t know how to handle it

and keith? when he’s down on the ground, the first thing he says is “Shiro, you know me.” becuase he’s trying desperately to bridge that gap, to make shiro see–to prove that, even if keith’s going through some shit, even if he doesn’t know who he himself is, he hasn’t changed. the person shiro knew is still the same.

also, look at shiro’s face after that exchange. that doesn’t look like someone who just sold out or distrusts their friend. he takes the time to look at keith and kinda check in, to see how vulnerable and scared he looks (scared because he thinks shiro doesn’t trust him)

before he goes right back to glaring and confronting the bom

he then tells keith theyre leaving and starts walking away. he realizes there’s some kind of conflict here between keith and the bom, so he tries to separate them. if he really didnt trust his friend, he would’ve insisted he either 1 hand over the knife or 2 started asking a bunch of personally invasive questions–after all, this is the person that insisted on morally grey mind control interrogation to extract information from a galra.

instead, he sees how honestly hurt and confused keith looks, so he gives him some space and tries to quickly remove him from the situation

and when keith insists on staying? shiro’s worried look in the background there? even if he doesn’t understand what’s been going on with keith all this time, he’s clearly concerned, clearly cares. he backs off a bit and let’s keith say his piece, because he realizes just how much all this means to him. shiro doesn’t interfere again until after he hears keith’s life will be on the line, and immediately tries to get him out of there

he goes right up to keith’s side when he tries to reason with him, and we get a repeat of that shoulder touch thing these two do so much. shiro especially does this to keith a lot, and it honestly seems like a kind of grounding thing. he reaches out to keith, tries to tell him that whatever’s going on his life isn’t worth it, holds onto him to offer some kind of comfort. the way shiro tries to convince him here reminds me a lot of that thing joaquim said in an interview, about how “shiro is sort of the only thing that can really calm him down and keep him in check.” shiro very much tries to do that here, sees that keith is angry and upset and tries to keep him from making a reckless decision.

was shiro really taken aback and hurt initially? i think so, yes. but once he kinda has a bit of time to recover and think things through he’s still thinking of keith and trying to help him as best he can–this is also why he doesn’t try to stop him again until it’s absolutely necessary, because he respects keith’s volition and understands the importance of that autonomy. when push comes to shove, regardless of the situation, shiro still steps up to protect keith

Did you talk to Javier after the competition?

“Cas?”

There was no answer, though Dean didn’t expect there to be. Maybe he hoped for it, but he knew it wouldn’t come.

His hands trembled as he reached out and cupped Cas’s cheek. He was cold, almost like ice, and Dean almost pulled his hand away, but he couldn’t. A tear fell down onto his face and only then did Dean realized he was crying.

“Cas,” he whispered, “Come on, man.”

Dean knew Cas wasn’t there anymore. That this wasn’t some wound he could heal over time, but he hoped someone would hear him. No one knew where angels went when they died, so there was a part of Dean that hoped, just maybe, Cas could hear him.

“You gotta come back.” he said, and he hated that his voice cracked, he felt weak and he the last thing he wanted was to sound like it, “Come back. Fight.”

The dumbass wasn’t even supposed to go after Lucifer. He was supposed to stay in this universe and he was supposed to stay safe. He was supposed to live.

“Come back.”

Cas was supposed to live. He was supposed to live and help them take care of this Nephilim bullshit. He was supposed to be here with him and Sam, fighting the good fight. He was supposed to be here with him.

“Come back to me.”

Dean wasn’t sure when it happened, but when he opened his eyes, Cas was in his arms, and he was cradling his upper body on his lap. His thumb was stroking Cas’s sharp cheekbone and there were more tears on his face.

“You’re an idiot.” he said, but there was no malice in his tone, there couldn’t be, “What am I supposed to do now, huh?”

His entire body ached from his head to his toes, but the ache in his heart was the greatest. He was tired of losing the people he loved, and he was tired of feeling like this.

He grit his teeth and closed his eyes, “I didn’t get to tell you I-”

When Cas had said it, back when he was dying, Dean couldn’t think. The only thing going through his mind then was that his best friend and…

“You scare me, man.” Dean said, “And now you’re gone and I miss being scared.”

There was no way to explain him and Cas. They were enemies, war buddies, friends, enemies again, best friends, and now… They were Dean and Cas. But Dean knew why it hurt so bad, why it felt like his hear had been ripped out and stomped on for thousands of years.

“Cause I love you too, Cas.”

Hey! If you're still taking prompts, could you write about neil and Andrew having a conversation about Neil's past? Like the stuff he had to do to survive and the stuff he went through with the worlds shittiest parents? Also I'm pretty sure neil has killed people like it makes complete sense so maybe andreil talking about that?

There’s a band of pale blue light nipping at the tops of the trees and sharpening the silhouettes of the houses, but everything else is fresh and dark. Andrew smokes with the pack clenched in his fist, the cherry of the cigarette winking at the street lamps winking at the orange moon.

Their front porch isn’t like the rush of the rooftop, but he can get that same jitter of fear from Neil nowadays, and he’s more portable. He’d left him knotted in the bedsheets an hour ago, and knowing he’s inside somewhere at his back is burning him up. Andrew inhales and focuses on the exhale, the way the smoke still tries to hurt him when it should’ve given up. He likes that nicotine doesn’t leave him alone.

Neil slips out the front door and lets the screen door clatter, and Andrew knows that he’s upset before he sits down two steps below Andrew, holding his own head.

He doesn’t ask; just smokes fervently. The moon bobs its head sympathetically, wind catches the smoke and breaks it over Neil’s head like water on rocks.

It occurs to Andrew that Neil isn’t going to start this conversation, because he likes to think things through on his own, solve them wrong, and tell Andrew about his mistakes later. He’s insufferably convinced of his own problem-solving abilities, then obsessed with the mechanism of his own missteps.

“What?” Andrew asks impatiently. He flicks ash from his cigarette and holds it out in front of Neil’s face. Neil sidles through his own tangled thinking for long enough to glance up. He leans forward and sucks the smoke from between Andrew’s fingers.

When he looks away, gusting smoke from his open mouth, he says, “Matt called. We fought.”

You fought,” Andrew guesses.

Neil looks agitated, blue in the choked light, eyes black and furious. “He was being unfair. He keeps trying to tell me what’s right or wrong lately, because he thinks I’ve been— been deprived, like my experiences were outside of humanity, or morality, and it’s so— condescending.”

“You’re only realizing this now? All of the foxes are condescending. It is the only way they can avoid their own failure.”

“This was different,” Neil says, shaking his head. “I can tell when they’re saying things because they want to see my reaction, and this wasn’t that. He meant what he was saying.”

“And what was that?”

Neil goes gagged silent. He shifts backwards up to Andrew’s stair without looking at him, settling into the groove worn into the wood.

“That killing someone makes you a monster. That murder is the worst thing you can do to a person.”

LA Kings Draftee Jaret Anderson-Dolan on LGBTQ and Hockey is for Everyone
As the No. 41 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, Anderson-Dolan hopes to help advocate for an inclusive and inviting environment throughout the hockey community.

With their No. 41 overall pick, the LA Kings drafted Jaret Anderson-Dolan in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Anderson-Dolan is a 17-year-old center from Calgary that has a story that’s making a positive impact on the hockey community.

Jaret and his brother, Dorian, were raised with two moms, but he as always been proud of his upbringing and honored to stand up in the fight against homophobia in sports.

While he played for the Spokane Chiefs, he showed his pride and support of his family by organizing a Hockey is for Everyone night at one of their home games.

“I obviously don’t know any other way of being raised, so for me it was normal,” Anderson-Dolan said. “There’s a couple of times where during a game or at school people may look to say something to me, but like I’ve said, I’m not ashamed about it.”

Anderson-Dolan is extremely grateful for both of his moms and everything they did behind the scenes to get him where he is today – an LA Kings draftee.

“I believe it’s very important that I try and make an impact in the community, as well as on the ice, and I won’t shy away from doing that,” Anderson-Dolan explained.

After being drafted into the NHL, hopefully Anderson-Dolan will be able to use this new platform to help him advocate that Hockey is for Everyone.

What’s The Plan? (Peter Parker x reader)

Anon asked:

HI! I JUST SAW HOMECOMING AND IM IN LOVE. Anyway can I get a Peter X reader where the reader is Tony’s daughter (a teleporter) who has a deaf best friend (Fury’s son) who reads lips and has hyper awareness and she just invites Peter and Ned (who now has a Stark internship for his computer skills) and ned and the readers best friend just try to get the reader and Peter together bcs they know they have feelings for each other? (sorry if it’s too much and btw my best friend is deaf in real life💗)

(AN. I really think this is an adorable idea and I warn you, there are tons of fluff in this!!!!! And guess who became literal Tom!spidey trash and less than four hours after seeing Homecoming???? THATS RIGHT. ITS ME! aaanyway these guys helped a me come out with ideas for this fic > @raisafatika @ciaa11 @harukatrash so kudos to them)

-(B/f/n) : best friend’ s name-

-

(B/f/n) is a curious human being. He was born deaf, and that made him optimize the use of his other senses. He was given a hyper-awareness serum by his father, Nick Fury, at a very young age to help him go through the world.

Over time, the serum given to him as a tool to face the world became more like a superpower. He had awareness beyond any human being. He could feel even the tiniest vibrations.

Another challenge in his life was having to pretend that his father is dead.

Nick Fury faked his death a few years ago, and he hadn’t seen him since then. He sent his father anonymous letters from time to time, but Nick couldn’t send anything back to him in fear of giving away his location.

He was grateful to have (Y/n), his best friend. (Y/n) was Tony Stark’s daughter. Her mother died after giving birth, so Tony raised her. She was a genius, much like her father. (Y/n) played a huge role in Tony’s life. After all, six year old (Y/n) was the one who insisted Tony to take things seriously with Pepper.

(Y/n) also had a superpower. As a child, (Y/n) got trapped in her father’s matter transporter prototype. The incident broke the machine, but Tony didn’t care about that. He cared more about his little girl.

The accident gave her the ability to teleport. If she could focus enough, she could scatter her molecules to reform somewhere else. She could control her powers now, but if she teleported too much or too far, the exhaustion could kill her.

They were both avengers to an extent. They went on easy missions, but Tony insisted that they didn’t go on harder ones.

-

(B/f/n) stepped in the lounge. It was another regular day in the Avengers facility. Nothing to do. Neither he nor (Y/n) has school because lessons from Tony and Bruce was better than what any academic curriculum could offer.

He saw (Y/n) sitting contently in the couch watching Star Wars, her Hulk plushie conveniently cuddled in her arms. She was exhausted after teleporting to Manhattan and back. That’s the farthest she’s ever gone.

He smiled at his best friend.

Something else caught his eye. There was a phone on the iron kitchen in the back of the room, flashing with notifications. It wasn’t (Y/n)’s or his, so who’s phone could it possibly be?

He stepped closer and saw the messages.

From: Peter Parker

Hey Happy! Just checking in today!

So apparently, Happy left his phone.

(B/f/n) grabbed a piece of paper and crushed it into a ball and threw it to (Y/n) to get her attention.

“What is it?” (Y/n) asked, turning to him while pausing the movie.

Why did Happy leave his phone? (B/f/n) signed.

His actual gestures were actually: Happy. Leave. Phone. Why? but (Y/n) has gotten good at interpreting ASL.

“I don’t know,” (Y/n) shrugged and went back to watching Star Wars.

Suddenly, an idea came to (B/f/n)’s head.

He unlocked Happy’s phone. It wasn’t that hard. The passcode was Happy’s birthday, and since (B/f/n) had near-photographic memory, it was a piece of cake.

He scrolled through his phone and saw Peter literally spamming him with text messages Happy never bothered to read.

How are you Happy?

I just got home from school.

How’s (Y/n) btw?

Tell her I said hi.

Anyway does Mr. Stark have any missions for me?

I’ll always be ready if you need me, you know.

Don’t forget to tell (Y/n) I said hi.

And it goes on and on like that for at least three months.

There was one thing that (B/f/n) noticed. Peter always asked about (Y/n).

Nobody asks about someone that much unless he had a crush on her.

With blunt realization and sudden excitement, (B/f/n) smiled with glee.

(B/f/n) knew (Y/n) has a crush on Peter. She didn’t tell him personally, but he just knows. He’s aware of the slight blush that colors her cheek whenever Peter is mentioned, or the tension released from her posture whenever Peter enters the room.

He just knows.

(B/f/n) couldn’t tell (Y/n). She wouldn’t believe.

He needed a plan.

So he texted Ned frantically.

-

“(Y/n) invited us for movie night?” Peter asked incredulously, not believing his ears as his cheeks turn as red as the Iron Man suit. He only goes to the Avengers facility for training. He couldn’t believe (Y/n) invited them to movie night.

“That’s r-right,” Ned confirmed, “nothing behind this invitation- not at all!” he stuttered, ending the sentence with a nervous grin.

Peter gave him a suspicious look, but it did not last. His head was already imagining scenarios.

-

“You invited Peter for movie night?” (Y/n) asked incredulously. (B/f/n) shrugged and signed, Technically, I invited Peter and Ned.

“I don’t care! What if I mess up? What if I embarrass myself?” (Y/n) said with pleading eyes.

(B/f/n) rolled his eyes. You’re not gonna mess up, he signed, you’re not gonna embarrass yourself. You’re going to be just fine, okay?

(Y/n) sighed, “Okay,” she said grudgingly.

-

“Do I look okay?” Peter asked Ned, “Please tell me I look okay.”

“Relax, buddy,” Ned reassured, tapping his shoes.

(Y/n) opened the door. “Hi,” she said, smiling playfully. She was wearing an oversized sweater with pajama shorts while Peter was trying his best not to melt into a puddle.

“Hey,” Peter answered, trying to sound brave, but instead it came out more like a squawk. (Y/n) giggled at his reaction as she welcomed them in.

(B/f/n) waved at them and crashed on the couch, followed by the rest.

They agreed to watch Lord of The Rings. (B/f/n) set the subtitles and flopped back on the couch.

-

Halfway through the movie, Ned tapped on (B/f/n)’s shoulder. “what’s the plan again?” Ned whispered.

It’s dark, (B/f/n) signed, I can’t read your lips.

Ned gave him a confused look. “Huh?”

(B/f/n) face palmed. He remembered one thing that he did not think through. Ned doesn’t understand ASL.

Oh, how he hated excitement that ruined his near-perfect memory.

(B/f/n) took out his phone and opened the notes. He typed, what did you say?
And passed the phone to Ned.

Ned took the phone. I said, what’s the plan again?

(B/f/n) took the phone again. Excuse yourself to the bathroom, and I’ll do the same a few minutes after you.

He handed Ned the phone again. Okay. He gave the phone back to (B/f/n).

“Are you guys passing notes on your phone?” (Y/n) asked, slightly confused.

“What? No,” Ned said nervously.

Since (B/f/n) can’t hear a thing and can’t see in the dark, he typed, Who are you talking to?

“You guys are passing notes,” Peter observed.

“O-okay,” Ned stuttered, “I think (B/f/n) is sleepy, aren’t you?” he asked, as (B/f/n) tilted his head in confusion. “and I need to go to the bathroom!” he announced, pushing (B/f/n) out of the lounge and into the hallway. “I’ll be back soon!” he called and disappeared through the door.

“Well that was… wierd,” (Y/n) said uncertainly.

“yeah,” Peter agreed, blushing because he was alone with (Y/n) on the couch watching The Fellowship of the Ring.

(Y/n) scooted closer to him.

Peter noticed something dangling from the girl’s arms. “Is that a hulk plushie?” Peter asked.

(Y/n) blushed in embarrassment. “Umm… Yeah,” she admitted.

“I think it’s cute,” Peter smiled.

(Y/n)’s eyes brightened. “Thank you.”

Then, Peter realized, that if he wanted to confess, this is the perfect time to do so.

“(Y/n)?” Peter called softly.

“yeah?”

“I sorta.. Kinda, y'know…” he started, scratching the back of his head, “you’re just… And I’m, well… I don’t know how to say this and I’m really scared right now… It’s like… You know, when you’re in a room… I, ummm, I get nervous, and I-I don’t know how to act- I just have these feelings, and stuff and- I sorta- kinda like you- but- but y'know if y-you don’t feel the same…but I think I-I’m in love with you -”

Before he could finish his sentence, (Y/n) leaned up to press her lips against his.

Peter couldn’t believe it. (Y/n) Stark was kissing him.

He melted into the kiss in a matter of seconds.

His heart was beating out of his rib cage as he sighed into her lips, happy that he didn’t have to hide anything from her anymore.

They pulled away, out of breath and smiling like idiots.

“Was that your first kiss?” (Y/n) asked smiling contently.

“That obvious, huh?” Peter grinned.

“It was mine, too,” (Y/n) admitted, pecking his lips one more time.

They stayed in silence for a while.

“Hey, Peter?” (Y/n) called.

“hmm?”

“I think I’m in love with you, too.”

From the hallway, (B/f/n) and Ned high-fived in happiness that their fatally flawed plan actually worked.

Nick Fury would be so proud.

How intelligent do you think Zack really is? I think half of his stupidity comes from the lack of education. He did have some moments of intelligence, like when he was trying to figure out the writing of Ray's name.

Actually I think Zack isn’t that dumb.

You’re right, half of his stupidity probably comes from his lack of education and when he tries, he can do it. He read Ray’s name, but at Eddie’s floor, he also thought of going to the other room with a crack on the wall because he deduced himself that it was connected to the room where Ray currently was. He deduced himself as well that the rock in front of Ray’s tomb was his tomb. He thought of asking Ray to get a lighter weapon for him in Episode 3 after he was hurt. He can wrap and unwrap his bandages himself. Once Ray told him that the cell bars were made of steel and he tested it once, he knew not to hit the bars again. In the game, he himself thinks of the vent as a place where Ray hasn’t searched yet in the poison room. He has survived alone during all this time without ever getting caught by the police.

Also, the syringe’s room: he plans things out, there. If Ray dies, then he’s basically done for. However, if he dies, then Ray will have a problem, and as Cathy said, the syringe’s serum is not deadly. He think about that and that’s why he takes the two syringes. Knowing his vitality and strength, plus maybe the effect of the vitamins, he had good chances of surviving. Zack taking the two syringes was actually the best decision to get out of this dilemma.

So yeah, he’s not an idiot. If he had received a proper education, went to school, etc. he would probably be way smarter.

But as his resumes says, thinking is not his forte and he’s poor at planning. He just doesn’t think things through. That’s not how he works. He’s someone who acts a lot on instinct: act first and think after. He doesn’t take his time to think: when he has an idea, he goes for it.

That can be really stupid (aka breaking the card in the poison room, thinking that Ray could have gone through a locked door at B6) but that can also be really useful (aka throwing Ray into the vent) because he doesn’t ask himself too many questions.

He doesn’t hesitate often. That’s not how he works. He does things and if it doesn’t work, well fuck it. Planning is not his thing.

That could come from his childhood, with survival instinct BUT SURVIVAL INSTINCT SHOULD HAVE PREVENTED YOU FROM SITTING IN A SUSPICIOUS LOOKING CHAIR IN THE MIDDLE OF AN EXECUTION ROOM, ZACK.

So I would say that Zack is naturally not a thinking person like Ray - he wouldn’t be a top grade student for example - and his lack of education doesn’t help. However, he’s far from being a complete moron: he has an instinctive kind of intelligence and can be quite clever.

D’you think Lance is constantly terrified he’s gonna forget things from Earth

Do you think he runs through names and dates through his head at night because he’s terrified he’s gonna lose them if he doesn’t

Do you think once he struggled to remember his little brother’s name for just a split second and he panicked so badly he was shaking

Do you think he’s so homesick because he feels like it’s a better alternative to not remembering his home at all

  • Law: Me like Mugiwara-ya please.
  • Zoro: He can be so childish
  • Law: He doesn't think things through

Owl post - Part 2

Part 1

Harry shifts uncomfortably from one foot to the other, while looking at a dumbfounded Malfoy. Maybe he should have thought this whole thing through first. He apparated over here without even thinking of how he would explain to Malfoy what he’s doing here, how he even knows where Malfoy lives. There’s no way he can tell him he followed his owl one day, not being able to contain his curiosity any longer. It’s a wonder Malfoy didn’t spot him on his broom that day.

“Potter,” Malfoy simply says.

“Um,” Harry begins, “you’re probably wondering what I’m doing here.”

The sound of Harry’s voice seems to shake Malfoy out of his trance. His whole body tenses and his eyes narrow.

“How did you find me?”

Harry smiles awkwardly and scratches the back of his neck.

“Well, that’s a funny story, actually,” Harry laughs nervously. “Do you think I could tell you over a cup of tea?”

“This is just like you,” Malfoy growls, “inviting yourself in like that. Does it ever occur to you, oh mighty Saviour, that other people have lives of their own and don’t answer at your beck and call?”

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Harry snorts, “am I keeping you from staring at your wall all day?”

Harry inwardly flinches. He didn’t mean to say that. His mind just snapped. Like it used to, whenever Malfoy was around. Maybe he will have to change tactics and just try to be… charming? But how does one do that exactly?
