I honestly can not even wrap my head around this....

Harry Potter is over. Yes, Harry Potter will never truly end. It will live on through us, the millions of people whose lives have been turned upside down by one woman who just happened to have a little idea for a children’s story that went on to change the world. But Harry Potter as we’ve always known it is done. I remember sitting in bed with my parents when I was six years old, listening to them read me the first book, having no idea how much that one series of children’s books would change my life. I had no idea that I would come to care for the people I was reading about as if they were my own friends, my own family. In a way, they are. I’ve grown up with them my whole life, gone through everything with them. They were there when I thought the world was crumbling underneath me; all I had to do was turn the page, and they would be there no matter what. I can’t quite begin to comprehend the fact that this is really, truly over. This was the final Harry Potter movie. Voldemort’s gone, they’ve grown up, and it’s done. The series that has been my childhood, has shaped who I am as a person, is finished. I honestly can not even begin to express how much this world has meant to me. Harry Potter taught me the most valuable lessons I have ever, and probably will ever learn. It taught me that it’s okay to be different, and that your real friends will accept you for everything you are. It taught me that it takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but even more to stand up to your friends. It taught me that it is not our abilities, but our choices, that define who we truly are. It taught me that you can never change the past, but you can change what the future may hold for you. It taught me how easy it is to become power hungry. It taught me that, even in the darkest of times, you have to remember to laugh and smile; in fact, that may be when you need it most. It taught me that it’s impossible to fight all your battles on your own, but if you have friends by your side, you can overcome anything. It taught me that everyone makes mistakes, that there is good and bad in everybody, but it is never too late to turn around and become a better person. It taught me that things are not always as they seem, and to never judge a book by its cover. It taught me to never allow struggle to make me forget who I truly am. It taught me that there is nothing more powerful than friendship and love. Harry Potter has shaped so much of who I am today. My life would not be the same without this skinny little boy in a cupboard under some stairs, with a lightning scar on his forehead. And now, just like we all have along with him, he and his friends have grown up. It’s heartbreaking to see this come to an end, this series that has become who I am, that has become a part of me. But I know that, if I ever need to see them again, if I ever need them to be there, all I need to do is turn the page.

The fireworks started and the sparks fly upward. The noises grew and the smoke thickened. As the fireworks flew, i named every dead fictional character i knew starting with the most hurtful deaths to the last, i screamed the most hurtful. As i ran out of names, I did the 3-finger sign the District 12 always did to thank and say goodbye to their dead.

Happy New Year!

“Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!” #harrypotter #wbstudiotour (at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London)

I think the "fake" Dumbledore account is just actually Dumbledore and he just tweets whatever tf he wants lmao

This is such a high possibility, I mean, this is the guy whose closing remarks at an opening banquet were ‘Nitwit. Oddment. Blubber. Tweak.’ He probably tweets shit like that all the time just to see pseudo-intellectuals re-tweet it and be like… Wow, so profound…

I’m super sorry anon but I accidentally deleted your message because I am too non technologically savvy to handle even a tumblr account!

I’ll answer here for you instead.

Paris: describe your favourite kiss.

I have only experienced one ‘proper’ kiss and it was uncomfortable, experimental and I barely remember it in all honesty. So I can’t really pick a favourite!

Los Angeles: what would you change about yourself?

A very interesting question. I’m very interested in health and often want to kick myself for not enjoying and participating in exercise. But I also think that at times I can over share a little or say things without speaking that make people uncomfortable and get me into awkward situations so I would potentially change myself to make me think more before speaking.

Cairo: what is your favourite quote?

I used to say this was my favourite quote: “Nitwit. Oddment. Blubber. Tweak.” - Albus Dumbledore. In all honesty though I don’t actually have one. If I ever come across a quote that I really love I tag it as “quote” so you can check that if you want. I’ve only ever tagged like ten or something. Mumbai: what is your favourite scent? I really like coconut, nutty or cocoa butter scented things. Thank you for asking! I am so indecisive and literally internally analyse/ponder over every answer I give for things like this haha…so it’s always interesting for me to see my final answer.
