nissan s cargo

Nissan S-Cargo Canvas Top (with and without a rear side window), 1989. One of Nissan’s “Pike Factory” vehicles, the S-Cargo was a retro-modernist reinterpretation of the Citroën 2CV Fourgonnette delivery van from the 1950s. The name was a double entendre referring both to its function “Small Cargo” and to the 2 CV’s French nick-name "Escargot" or tin snail. Approximately 12,000 were made exclusively for the Japanese market however a number have been privately imported to Europe and elsewhere
