Comet Lovejoy from the International Space Station
Astronaut Dan Burbank
captured Comet Lovejoy from the International Space Station on December
21, 2011. Despite setting his Nikon D3S to an ISO of 12800, he still
needed a steady hand for this 0.8-second exposure through an f/2.8 lens.
