Lebron James bashes Trump for disinviting Steph Curry
Lebron James lashed out at President Trump in response to the president's saying that a White House invitation to basketball champion Steph Curry was "withdrawn."
By ABC News

I’m not a basketball fan (football is the only game I follow), but damn, this totally made my day. I honestly think I want to print out and frame LeBron James’ tweet to Resident Rump calling him “U bum.”

The Golden State Warriors have shown themselves to be a class act by releasing a statement a little while ago saying that they’re still going to go to DC in February, but they will not be going to the White House. Instead, they’re going to have a gathering “to celebrate equality, diversity, and inclusion–the values that we embrace as an organization.”

Just as an aside, in a typical rambling speech full of red meat and dog whistles in Alabama, Resident Rump referred to Colin Kaepernick and others like him who have knelt during the national anthem “sons of bitches” who should be fired by the NFL. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell game him the smackdown on that (which is good, although he’s done nothing to support Colin Kaepernick getting signed by a new team), and Colin’s mom had the best response on Twitter:

DeShone Kizer thinks he can be greatest quarterback ever to play in NFL

No quarterback prospect in next week’s NFL draft has been picked apart quite like DeShone Kizer since he declared in the wake of Notre Dame’s 4-8 finish and his own uneven play. Depending whom you ask inside the league, he could be just the fourth or fifth QB taken after North Carolina’s Mitchell Trubisky, Texas Tech’s Patrick Mahomes, Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Cal’s Davis Webb. But if you want to buy Kizer as a worthy first-round pick, this is a good place to start.

Arguably the most anticipated player of the 2014 NFL Draft, college football’s youngest Heisman Trophy Winner will look to make a major impact in his new home with the Cleveland Browns! Johnny Manziel!

Texans take defensive end Clowney with first pick in NFL draft

AP: The Houston Texans chose South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney with the first pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

Clowney is the first defensive player to have been taken with the first overall pick since the Texans selected defensive end Mario Williams in 2006.
