nfl draft pick

DeShone Kizer thinks he can be greatest quarterback ever to play in NFL

No quarterback prospect in next week’s NFL draft has been picked apart quite like DeShone Kizer since he declared in the wake of Notre Dame’s 4-8 finish and his own uneven play. Depending whom you ask inside the league, he could be just the fourth or fifth QB taken after North Carolina’s Mitchell Trubisky, Texas Tech’s Patrick Mahomes, Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Cal’s Davis Webb. But if you want to buy Kizer as a worthy first-round pick, this is a good place to start.

About your small town anon-- I come from the same small town as the national college football championship winner quarterback and first round NFL draft pick. Trust me, people who have never met this guy read EVERYTHING posted about him and talk about him like they know him. People sense camaraderie in small towns and flock to it-- they'd definitely read something about someone from their small town, if just for it being about someone from their town.

Anonymous said: I totally agree with what you are saying about small towns. Something has always seemed off about the story of her being only 17. I’m currently living in a small town but I am originally from a large city. When I was in the city, something happened with a high school student (and let’s face it at 17 she would either still be in high school or just graduated high school) and most people had no clue who the person was. A similar thing happened in my small town and it was everywhere.

One of the cast of my current show comes from a small town of similarish size, and I had to go visit them recently to get them to sign their contract. I took a taxi from the train station to their house - normally you can have a bit of a chat with your taxi driver about why you’re in the area, when they find out it’s for work, they tend to ask what you do, which leads to a long line of questioning about what it’s like to work in TV and what my current show is about - but I knew full well that if I even said the word “television” to this small town taxi driver, half the people in the town would know about the show and my cast member’s involvement before the week was out, and the rest would find out shortly afterwards.

People are incredibly interested in outside interest in people they’re affiliated with, however remotely, and the small town gossip mill runs overtime. In particular, people like to dig up and spread around dirt on someone, so they feel like they have inside intel.

If this girl isn’t actually 20, that information won’t stay hidden long.
