My heart was a mass with a balanced force
Before your eyes came along.
Never had it been so affected,
Always cancelled out, no matter how strong.
It moved forward at a constant speed,
No change to its acceleration
Until it was so mesmerized
It underwent sublimation.
My heart began to lose control,
Starting to all of a sudden race.
The faster it beats and turns unstable,
The more I see your face.
So now I think I understand
What Newton’s second law shows.
The net force of your presence equals
How swift my poor heart goes.
