Charles C. Ebbets     Lunch Atop a Skyscraper: Construction Workers Lunching on a Crossbeam, the GE Building Under Construction, Rockefeller Center, New York City     1932

You have all probably seen the famous 1932 photograph entitled New York Construction Workers Lunching on a Crossbeam… the photograph was taken during the construction of the RCA Building in Manhattan and shows eleven men eating lunch, seated on a girder with their feet dangling stories above the New York City streets. But did you know that seconds before this iconic photo was taken there was originally twelve men seated on the beam? If you look on the far right side of the photo you can see Grandpa Joe and the coworker he just heartlessly pushed to his death simply because he didn’t like him! This is just shocking!
