Words: 631

A/N: This is a new series that will rotate with lost in the fire.

Shots were fired from the icer in (y/n) hands. (y/n) was standing in the control room with the heads of security right in-front of her. The floor was moving back and forth. The underwater prison was probably fully submerged underwater now. Alarms were sounding throughout the supermax warning of the brake-in.

“I ASKED YOU WHERE THEY WERE?” (y/n) screamed. “YOU THINK I WON’T SHOT,”

“There on the bottom floor, Ok?” one of them said.

“Thanks,” (y/n) said and she pulled the trigger on both of them. “Oh, sorry about that my finger slipped,”

She headed down to the elevator. When she got there, she looked back and saw at least ten people on the floor and (y/n) shrugged her shoulders. She enters the elevator and pushed the button for the lowest floor.

(y/n) fixed her hair and her clothes. She was wearing a black tank top and some grey leggings with a leather jacket. Her shoes were red 2-inch high boots. She processed her gun.

“It’s HER” someone shouted as the elevator open. The doors open and all hell broke out. (y/n) fought at least 8 people and brought them down in two minutes. She opens the door that was labeled: prisoners XXXX.

“This must be it” (y/n) said to herself. She kicks the door down and walks in. “Oh my god, hi,”

“Hi, who are you?” clint asked. Everyone was staring at (y/n).

“(y/n), (y/n) stark” she said.

“Stark? Are you here to lecture us,” Sam asked.

“God, no. I hate my dad. This is to prove a point to him.” she said.

“What point?” Wanda said. As they looked behind (y/n)

“To prove she is a better person than him,” a man said behind (y/n).

“OH MY GOD STEVE! I thought you were my dad,” (y/n) said and then laughed. “I thought you gave up cap?”

“YOU WHAT?” Everyone else said at the same time.

“Stuff happens. Sorry about bucky by the way. A least it’s not a lily.” she said as her face filled with tears and her eyes turned white and her hair turned red. Her best friend Lily died in the new york incident. Right in front of her face.

“What’s happing? Who’s Lily?” Wanda asked.

“Um, she died at new york. I miss her,” she whispered looking up.

“My twin brother died in Slovakia,” Wanda said, she thought about all her rage against Ultron.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” (y/n) said.

“Back away from her” Steve said.

“You guys have got to stop before we cry,” Clint said look at Wanda, (y/n) and Steve.

“And before they wack up.” (y/n) adds and all of them look at her, “What, I wasn’t going to kill them,”

“Then let’s get going,” Steve said.

“You’re not going anywhere,” Tony said as he walked through the door

“Do you really want to do this now?” (y/n) said.

“Lily was an accident (y/n)” Tony said looking around the room.

“An accident? Really? you held her up and killed her. There is no accident in that, you murdered her,” (y/n) said as she sat down.

“Loki’s mind games were controlling you,” Tony said

“She loved the color blue. She said It was like the sky. Never died never lived, it was life and death, black and white, (y/n) and lily”  (y/n) said.

“(y/n), you can fight it,” Tony said

“Ring around the rosy pocket full of posey, ashes, ashes they all fall-”

“Down,” Wanda said with a faint smile. Everyone turned to look at Wanda. “What do you not know that song?”

“No, I’m fine (Y/N), I can feel it working. My arm doesn’t even hurt that much,” trying to calm you down.

“You sure?” still wanting to make sure he was ok.

Peter nodded, squeezing your hand slowly calming you down. You both waited till the nurse would roll you into the room where they would take x rays and apply his cast.

“Are you sure you don’t want Aunt May in here instead?” your hand interlacing with his.

“No, don’t think she would be able to handle this,” trying his hardest to not show how much of an effect your touch was having on him.

Peter was starting to think that maybe Ned would have been a better choice, because he couldn’t he wasn’t sure he could trust himself once the anesthesia kicks in. He’s seen the videos of people admitting some personal secrets, and last thing he wanted was to admit his love for you, since he wasn’t sure it would cause problems between you two.

You and Peter had been best friends since 6th grade, somewhere along the way you had stolen his heart, but this point he would have willingly given it to you. Simple touches made his face heat up, warm smiles made his breath stop; you holding his hand made his heart explode, everything about you just sent his body on overdrive.

“Thanks (y/n),” you don’t know how much you mean to me. That’s what he wanted to admit but he doubted that he ever could, because he would be sure to get tongue tied in the process.

“I’d do anything for you Peter,” your smile lightening up your face that instantly made his heart pound against his chest.

It had to be illegal to be that adorable, and what’s worse is you had no clue how much of an effect you had on him. He could hear Ned’s voice in the back of his head, telling him to admit his feelings for you. He would always refuse stating that he needed to find the right moment to tell you.

“(y/n), there’s something that I should tell you…,” feeling like this was the best moment to tell you.

You nodded, seeing a slight change in his attitude.

Pairing: Jughead x Reader

Description: After his junior year, Jughead goes to New York for a writing internship.

Warnings: some swearing, you might cry

Word count: 4,574

A/N: umm first of all thank you for 7000 followers?? holy crap. anywho wowowow this is by far the longest thing I’ve ever written. It’s based off of the song “Ever Since New York” from Harry Styles’s album (which I love btw).  This is probably my favorite thing I’ve ever written tbh. Hope you all enjoy!

Tell me something, tell me something
You don’t know nothing, just pretend you do

After years of saving the money he earned at the Twilight Drive-In and other odd jobs, Jughead finally had enough to buy a plane ticket to New York.  He had discovered a writing internship there that he knew he had to do. It didn’t take much effort to convince his dad to allow him to go; in fact, FP even offered to pitch in some money. Jughead refused, claiming that he wanted to do this all on his own.  He wanted to deserve this internship as much as possible.

He started talking to Veronica frequently, asking her about her time in New York.  She, of course, gladly answered all of Jughead’s questions.  She was glad to finally bond with her boyfriend’s best friend.

Jughead also pestered Betty with questions, seeing as she had done an internship similar to his two summers ago.  It was a bit awkward at first, since the two of them used to date.  However, they both got over their awkwardness for the sake of preparing Jughead for his internship.

“It’s really amazing,” Betty told him.  “It’s a great experience, and you’ll learn so much.”

“What are other people like?” Jughead inquired.  “Are they pricks?”

“Sometimes,” Betty laughed. “It depends.  Do you know how many other people are participating in the internship?”

“Just one,” he answered, shrugging.  “I don’t know who it is though.”

“Well, if they’re a jerk then that’s gonna suck,” she offered.  “But if they’re nice, they may become one of the closest friends you’ll ever have.”

“Really?”

“Yeah,” Betty replied and nodded.  “You’re gonna spend all summer with this other person.  They’re either gonna drive you up the wall or become your new best friend.”

I need something, tell me something new
Choose your words, ‘cause there’s no antidote
For this curse, oh, what’s it waiting for?
Must this hurt you just before you go?

“Have fun in New York, Jug.” FP patted his son on the back as they stood at the airport gate.  Betty, Veronica, Archie, Fred Andrews, and Kevin stood behind FP, all wearing supportive smiles.  Jughead glanced around at the group who followed him to the airport, filled with admiration of his friends and family.

“Thank you guys,” he said, fighting back a giant grin.  “You didn’t all have to come, though.”

“Of course we did,” Fred Andrews argued.  “We’re not gonna see you all summer, Jughead.  We have to give you a proper send-off.”

“Well, proper send-off achieved,” Jughead laughed.  He watched as others in the line began to move.  “I guess I should go now.  Thanks for this.  See you all in August.”  As he turned on his heel and walked away, the group of six gleefully waved at Jughead’s retreating figure.

“You aren’t worried about Jughead all alone in a giant city?” Fred asked FP as they exited the airport.

“Nah,” FP responded, waving his hand.  “He’s a smart kid, he’ll find his way.”

Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know

“Hi, I’m Jughead Jones,” he introduced himself at the front desk.  “I’m here for the writing internship.”

The lady sitting behind the desk glanced up at Jughead.  “Ah, yes! We’ve been expecting you, Mr. Jones!” she exclaimed, standing from her chair.

“Oh, am I late?” Jughead inquired.

The lady shook her head. “Oh no, not at all.  Your counterpart just got here early, so we’ve been waiting for you to start.”

“My counterpart?”

“Miss (Y/N) (Y/L/N),” she gestured to a girl sitting on a chair against the wall, flipping through a magazine.  The girl perked up when she heard her name, and saw Jughead and the receptionist staring at her.

“Is this him?” (Y/N) questioned, standing up and setting the magazine down.  Jughead noticed it was a TIME magazine.

“Yes,” the receptionist answered.  “(Y/N), this is Jughead Jones.”  Jughead stuck his hand out to shake, and (Y/N) firmly shook his hand.

“I hope you’re not an asshole,” she blatantly said as they released hands, “because we’re gonna be stuck with each other all summer.”

“I was thinking the same thing about you,” he quipped.

(Y/N) raised her eyebrow in interest.  “Quick-witted,” she noted with a smirk forming on her face.  “I like it.”

“You better,” Jughead fired back, biting back a grin.  “Like you said, we’ll be around each other all summer.”

“If we were together any longer, I’d worry about you falling in love with me,” she jokingly warned. “So be careful.”

Brooklyn saw me, empty at the news
There’s no water inside this swimming pool

“When’d you get here?” (Y/N) asked as she and Jughead exited the building, their first day of the internship finished.

“Two days ago,” Jughead answered with his hands in his pockets.  “What about you?”

“Last week.”  Her pace was quick, and she seemed determined to get somewhere.  “Are you hungry?  Because I’m starving.”

“I would love some food,” Jughead almost moaned at the thought of food.  He was only able to scarf down a small lunch in the midst of the business.

“I know this great burger place,” (Y/N) explained as she led the way to the restaurant.  “It’ll make every other burger you’ve ever eaten seem like a pile of shit on a bun.”

“I doubt that,” Jughead scoffed.  “There’s a diner where I’m from that makes the best burgers you’ll ever eat.”

“Where are you from?”

“Riverdale,” he said. “Pop’s diner, that’s what it’s called. If you ever find yourself in Riverdale, stop by Pop’s.  Trust me, you’ll thank me.”

“Well we’re not in Riverdale right now, Jughead Jones,” (Y/N) reminded him.  “So you should thank your lucky stars that I am your counterpart, because I’ve been here for the past week. You know what I’ve been doing for that week?  Exploring, Jones.  I have tried and evaluated twenty-one restaurants, and I know where to go for whatever you’re craving.”

“What if I’m craving Korean food?” he quizzed.

“32nd street, there’s a great Korean grill,” she immediately responded.

“Ethiopian?”

“There’s a quaint little place on 135th street.”

“What if I want to get wasted?” Jughead smirked.

“There’s a club a couple of blocks away with shitty security,” (Y/N) answered with a smirk equally as wide.  “Or maybe I was just an exception, seeing as how attractive I am.”

“I think you overestimate yourself,” he scoffed, playfully rolling his eyes.

(Y/N) lightly slapped him on the arm.  “I do not!” she retaliated.

“Whatever, keep lying to yourself.”  Jughead quickened his pace, leaving (Y/N) behind him.

“Hey!” she called out, rushing to catch up to him.  “You better not leave me!  You don’t even know where you’re going.”

“You’re still here,” he noted, casually wrapping his arm around her shoulders.  “Lead the way, (Y/N).”

Almost over, had enough from you
And I’ve been praying, I never did before

“God, this food sucks,” (Y/N) whispered, gesturing towards the plates of Japanese food sitting in front of her and Jughead.  “That place we ate at last week was so much better.”

“True,” Jughead agreed with a mouthful of food.  “But this place is cheaper.”

“Rightfully so!” she exclaimed, jabbing at her tofu with a chopstick.  Jughead silently laughed and shook his head, continuing to eat his fried rice.  He watched as (Y/N) picked at her dish, examining each aspect of the meal.

It had been three weeks since their internship had begun, and Jughead and (Y/N) quickly became close friends.  They bonded over the overwhelming amount of work at their internship and their food-discovering adventures.  Jughead didn’t know how he would’ve survived an entire summer in New York without (Y/N) by his side.  They even stayed at the same hotel, so during a sleepless night, one would wake the other and stay up all night talking.  On those nights, they would drink hot chocolate.

“I’ve got the check tonight, Jug,” (Y/N) said, snapping Jughead out of his thoughts as she took the bill from the waitress.  Jughead furiously shook his head.

“No, (Y/N), you got dinner yesterday,” he protested, reaching out towards the bill.  “I’ll cover it tonight.”

“You got lunch!” she exasperatedly exclaimed.  “I can handle it.  Dinner wasn’t even expensive last night or tonight.”

Jughead huffed as the waitress returned and took (Y/N)’s money.  “Fine,” he pouted, “but we’re gonna go out for desert, and I’m paying for it.”

“Fine.”

“Ice cream?” Jughead offered, standing from his chair.  (Y/N) followed suit, and they exited the diner.  She slowly grabbed his hand, intertwining their fingers.

“I’m feeling frozen yogurt tonight,” she countered his offer, grinning up at him.

“What’s the difference?” Jughead playfully scoffed, trying not to blush at their hand-holding.  They had started doing it last week after he almost lost (Y/N) in a giant mass of people.

“I swear to God, Jug, you said the same thing last week, and I explicitly explained it to you.”  (Y/N) rolled her eyes.  “Ice cream is-”

“Made with cream, whereas frozen yogurt is a yogurt-based treat,” Jughead quoted what (Y/N) had told him last week.

“I knew you paid attention to me.”

Understand I’m talking to the walls
I’ve been praying ever since New York

In the middle of the night, the phone started ringing.  Jughead, still half-asleep, answered it with his eyes remaining shut.

“You can come over,” he said, not waiting for the caller to initiate the conversation.

“Okay,” (Y/N)’s quiet voice responded, and she hung up.  A few moments later, a soft knock resonated through Jughead’s hotel room.  He rolled off of his bed, throwing on a t-shirt, and opened the door.  (Y/N) stood in the doorway, slightly shaking.

“You cold?” Jughead murmured.  (Y/N) wordlessly nodded.  He gently grabbed her arm and led her inside, shutting the door behind them.  He stripped the blanket off from his bed and draped it over her shoulders, wrapping (Y/N) in the soft white material.  (Y/N) smiled up at him.

“Why do you put up with me?” she asked, sitting on his bed.  Jughead mimicked her actions and sat next to her.

“What do you mean?” he questioned, furrowing his eyebrows.

“How are you not sick of me?” she elaborated.  “I mean, we’ve been constantly hanging out for, what, a month and a half now?  You know if I’m annoying you, you can just tell me. I’ll back off.”

“Why would you annoy me?” he asked, slowly wrapping his arms around her waist and pulled her into his lap. “You’re the best part about this internship.”

“You’re full of shit.”

“I’m not,” Jughead lightly laughed, slightly nudging her.  “I’m serious, (Y/N).  Before I came, I was asking my friend Betty about internships.  She did one two years ago, so she knew what she was talking about. She told me that the people I’ll meet during this internship will either drive me up the wall or become one of my closest friends.”

“So I haven’t driven you up the wall?” (Y/N) inquired with a tentative smile.

“Of course not,” Jughead laughed loudly this time.  A moment of silence ensued, both (Y/N) and Jughead overwhelmed by sleepiness.

“Is Betty your girlfriend?” (Y/N) broke the silence, staring up at Jughead.

“No,” he muttered, brushing a strand of hair out of her face.  “She was,” he admitted, “but not anymore.”

“What happened?”

“Nothing bad,” he shrugged. “Sometimes things just don’t work out, you know?”

“Yeah,” (Y/N) muttered. “I had a boyfriend.”

“Really?  That’s shocking.”

“Shut up!” she whined, elbowing him.  “Yes, I had a boyfriend.  He was actually a total dickhead.”

“How?” Jughead asked, growing concerned.

(Y/N) looked up at him and giggled.  “Oh, you’re worried,” she cooed, placing a hand on his chin.  Jughead swatted it away.

“Sue me,” he retorted, but then grew serious.  “But really, what happened?”

“Nothing bad,” she replied, facing away from Jughead.  “We were dating for a while, and… I don’t know.  He never really supported me in anything.  He wasn’t nice to any of my friends, and I didn’t notice for so long because I was so fucking smitten.  Eventually it hit me one day, and I realized that he was horrible.  So, naturally, I dumped him.”

“As one does,” Jughead nodded, nonchalantly tracing patterns on (Y/N)’s right arm with his thumb.

(Y/N) slumped and sighed. “What time is it?”

Jughead glanced at the clock with its blaring, bright red numbers.  “Three o’clock.”

“Jesus,” she muttered, rubbing her eyes.  “I should… I should get back to my room.”  She jumped off the bed and trekked towards the door, her bare feet dragging on the carpet.

“Wait,” Jughead commanded, grabbing her arm.  “Don’t go, it’s too late.”

“You say that as if I have to walk across New York City,” (Y/N) joked.  “It’s fine, Jug, my room is down the hall.  I’m not gonna get mugged.”

“No, but you may fall over before you reach your room,” he countered with a lighthearted smirk. “Just stay here tonight, okay?” (Y/N), too tired to argue, needed no more convincing as she turned around and climbed into Jughead’s bed. He laid down, patting the space next to him.  (Y/N) tentatively settled next to him, slowly resting her head on the neighboring pillow. “You can get closer than that, you know,” he told her, amused by her unusually timid nature.  She hesitantly scooted closer to him, until she was near enough for Jughead to wrap his arms around her waist and pull her against his chest.  “That’s better,” he whispered into her hair.  She draped one arm around his torso, the other arm tucked under their now-shared pillow.

“Night, Jug,” she murmured, eyes already closed.  He smiled at her.

“Goodnight, (Y/N).”

Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know

“Oh, Jughead, how is it?” Betty eagerly asked, her face displayed on his laptop screen.

“It’s been great,” Jughead answered.

“What restaurants have you tried?” Veronica questioned from her spot next to Betty.

“A bunch,” he vaguely replied.  “(Y/N) is attempting to try every restaurant in New York City.  I think it’s impossible, but she’s determined.”

“Who is (Y/N)?” Archie inquired, popping his head into the camera’s view.

Jughead laughed, “Where do I begin?  She’s my ‘counterpart’ for the internship.  We’ve become very close.”

“I told you,” Betty grinned. Jughead nodded.

“You were right,” he admitted.  “Right when I met her, I… I don’t know, it just felt like something clicked between us. We’re inseparable.”  Betty’s expression slightly darkened, but Jughead waved it off as a bit off jealousy.

“Ah, you’ve got it bad, bro,” Archie laughed at his best friend.  Jughead rolled his eyes.

“It’s not like that, Arch,” he explained.  “It’s like Betty said, you grow really close to people when you spend so much time together.”

“But you don’t blush when you talk about them,” Veronica noted, pointing out Jughead’s dusty pink cheeks.

“You’re imagining things,” Jughead scoffed.  Betty, Archie, and Veronica shared a knowing glance.

“If you say so,” Veronica sing-songed.  Before Jughead could respond, there was a knock on his door.  A smile subconsciously grew on his face.

“Speaking of (Y/N),” he said, standing up and walking towards the door.  He opened it, and, as expected, (Y/N) stood there.

“Are we going or not, Jug?” she pressed, grabbing his hand.  “I told you the line for the rainbow bagels is super long.  I don’t want to spend all of Saturday waiting for one, even though they’re so fucking pretty.”

“I’m video chatting with my friends right now,” Jughead told her, gesturing towards his open laptop. “Can you wait like five more minutes?”

“Fine,” (Y/N) huffed, crossing her arms.  She stepped into his room, allowing him to close the door behind her.  She followed him as he sat back down in front of his laptop, resting her chin on his shoulder as she peered at the screen. “These are your friends?”

“Yeah,” he confirmed. “That’s Archie,” he gestured towards the redhead, “the blonde one is Betty, and that one is Veronica.”  (Y/N) smiled at Jughead’s Riverdale friends.

“You must be (Y/N),” Betty smiled.  “Jughead was just talking about you.”

“Of course he was,” (Y/N) joked, nudging his arm.  Jughead playfully shoved her back.

“So how’s it been? Three months with the infamous Jughead Jones?” Veronica inquired with a smirk dancing on her lips.

“Well it hasn’t been three months quite yet,” (Y/N) corrected her.  “I’ve only gotta deal with this guy for two more weeks.” Jughead’s face slightly deflated as this realization hit him.  “Let me tell you, he’s quite the handful.”

“We know,” Archie laughed. Jughead opened his mouth to say something, but (Y/N) interrupted him.

“Shit, I left my phone in my room!” she exclaimed, standing up.  “I’ll be right back, Jug.”  She turned and faced the laptop.  “It was great talking to you guys.  I hope we can meet sometime!”  She quickly exited Jughead’s room.  Immediately, Veronica, Archie, and Betty bombarded him about (Y/N)

“She’s perfect,” Veronica cooed.  “She’s actually flawless, Jughead.”

“You lucked out, bro,” Archie told him.  “She’s a keeper.”

“She’s absolutely amazing, Jughead,” Betty smiled.  Jughead grinned and shook his head.

“You guys, I told you-”

“Don’t even go there,” Veronica interrupted him.  “That girl is absolutely perfect for you.  The way you two look at each other is… it seems like it’s from a fairytale. You two are soulmates, Jughead.

“She does seem great, Jug,” Archie agreed with her.  “I mean, I’ve never seen you like that with anyone.  No offense, Betty.”

“None taken, Archie,” she waved his comment off.  “They’re right though, Jug.  You never looked at me the way you look at (Y/N).”  Jughead couldn’t think of a clever retort.  “But be careful, Jughead.  Like (Y/N) said earlier, you two only have two more weeks together. If you haven’t done anything up to this point, you might want to consider whether or not it’s worth it to start something now.  Just ask yourself, is it worth the heartbreak that’ll happen when you have to leave her?” She pursed her lips as she watched Jughead’s face darken on her screen.

“Thanks guys,” he said halfheartedly.  “Really, thank you.  I’ll see you all in two weeks.”

Tell me something, tell me something
You don’t know nothing, just pretend you do
Tell me something just before you go

“Our last day!” (Y/N) exclaimed, prancing into Jughead’s hotel room.  After the video call he had two weeks ago ended, he decided to give her a key to his room.  “Our internship is over, and we have one last night to spend together, Jug.  Out of every place in all of New York City, where do you want to go, Jughead Jones?” she asked seductively, a coy smirk growing on her face.

“I’m feeling burgers tonight,” Jughead answered, trying to stop his expression from deflating.  “And then maybe we can get some cupcakes?”

“I like it!” she grinned. She grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the room, beginning the trek to their favorite restaurant.  “Jesus, I can’t believe it’s been three months already.”

“I know,” he agreed.  “It seems like my plane landed just yesterday.”

“Yeah,” (Y/N) breathed. They spent the rest of their walk in silence, choosing to listen to the bustling New York traffic.

The waitresses at the restaurant, at this point, knew Jughead and (Y/N) as regulars.  They didn’t even bother giving them menus, knowing exactly what each of them would order.

“You two are my favorites,” the waitress whispered as she set their burgers in front of them.

“Thank you,” (Y/N) grinned. “I’m sorry to say, but it’s our last day here.”

“Oh,” the waitress sighed. “Well, you two better visit.  I don’t know what I’ll do without my favorite regulars.”  She walked away, leaving (Y/N) and Jughead to enjoy their burgers.

“You know,” Jughead noted through a mouth full of burger, “I don’t know how you’ve tried almost every restaurant in New York City while becoming a regular here.”

“Talent, Jug,” she told him, wiping her mouth on a napkin.  “It takes a hell of a lot of talent.”

They finished dinner and went to their favorite bakery to get cupcakes.  On their walk back to the hotel, they fell into silence once again. It wasn’t broken until they entered Jughead’s hotel room.  By now, almost all of (Y/N)’s stuff ended up in here.  They found it easier, rather than constantly having to switch back and forth between rooms to grab their stuff.

“So that was our last day,” (Y/N) claimed, flopping onto the bed.  Jughead stood by the bedside, crossing his arms with an amused smile.

“Unfortunately, it was,” he nodded.  He jumped next to her on the bed, earning a shriek from (Y/N).  He swallowed as he stared at her, knowing what he had to tell her. “Do you remember what you said to me on the first day we met?”

“That I know where to go for whatever you’re craving,” she answered with a grin.  Jughead laughed and shook his head.

“No, the other thing.”

“I hope you’re not an asshole because we’re gonna be stuck together all summer?” she offered.  He shook his head again.

“Nope.”

“I called you quick-witted?”

“No!”

“What is it?” (Y/N) demanded, sitting up so that she was hovering over Jughead as he remained laying down.

“You told me that if we were together any longer than just the summer, I might fall in love with you,” he explained, sitting up so that they were face-to-face.  (Y/N)’s grin slightly faded.

“Oh,” she murmured.  “Yeah, I did say that.”

“You were wrong,” Jughead said, trying to keep his voice steady.  He slowly grabbed her right hand.

“Really?” she asked as her eyes followed Jughead’s hand.

“Betty told me to be careful,” he explained, “because we’re not gonna be together that long.  And she was right.  I mean, why would we risk an immense amount of heartbreak just for the sake of a blissful few weeks together?”  When (Y/N) said nothing, he continued.  “So I figured I could just suck it up and get through the rest of our time together and not say anything.  It was a good plan, but you… you ruined it.”

“Sorry,” she quipped with a small smirk.  Jughead lovingly rolled his eyes.

“No you’re not,” he laughed. “You’re not sorry, and you shouldn’t be. Within the three months we’ve spent together, I’ve grown closer to you than I ever have with anyone else.  Hell, my ex-girlfriend said that we were great together.”

“She did?”

“Yeah,” he responded, grabbing her hands.  “Jesus, (Y/N), I’m in love with you.  I’m fucking in love with you, and it sucks.  It sucks because I don’t know if I’m ever gonna see you again.  And this is gonna cause so much heartbreak, for me at least, and maybe you too.  I just… I can’t keep it from you anymore.  But I also think, deep down, you already knew how I felt.”  Tears clouded (Y/N)’s eyes, and her lips quivered as she quickly enveloped Jughead in a hug.

“Fuck,” she whispered into his neck.  “Fuck, of course I love you, Jughead.”  He pulled himself out of her grip and stared at her, stroking his hand across her cheek. They both leaned in, pressing their foreheads against each other.  Their lips ghosted over each other, only millimeters apart.

“If I kiss you-”

“If you kiss me, everything is gonna go to shit, Jug,” she interrupted him.  He nodded but didn’t pull away.  They sat there like that on his bed on a minute, (Y/N) sitting on Jughead’s lap with her arms around his neck, foreheads touching and lips barely brushing.

The tension grew unbearable, so (Y/N) closed the gap and pressed her lips against his, trying to express what she had been feeling for the past three months.

Jughead, too, attempted to convey every pent up confession he had, wishing that kisses could speak. He wanted his hands, which were encircling her waist, to tell her how she charmed him with her wit.  He wanted his eyes, which were closed with pleasure, to tell her how beautiful she was, especially when she trudged into his hotel room at three in the morning.  He wanted his lips, which were pressed against hers, to tell her how much he loved her.  He loved her, he loved her, and he wanted to keep saying it for the rest of his life.

For the sake of oxygen, the two pulled apart.  They kept their foreheads resting against each other.

“Everything’s gone to shit,” (Y/N) whispered, and Jughead burst out into laughter.  (Y/N) followed suit by giggling, and their still-entangled limbs caused them to fall onto the bed so that (Y/N) was laying on top of Jughead. This only caused the pair to laugh harder.

When their chuckles finally died down, (Y/N) climbed off from on top of Jughead and laid next to him, resting her head on his chest.  She combed her hand through his raven locks.

“I’m sorry that I fell in love with you,” Jughead apologized, kissing the top of her head. They were slowly falling asleep.

“Thank you for falling in love with me,” (Y/N) whispered, eyes fluttering shut.  “It may have all gone to shit, but it was worth it.”

Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know

Jughead stepped off the plane and saw his dad and friends standing at the gate, excitedly waiting for him.  He didn’t say anything, he didn’t even bother smiling.  Immediately, everyone understood.

While they were awaiting Jughead’s plane’s arrival, Betty, Veronica, and Archie explained to the rest of the group about (Y/N).  They told them about how Jughead spent three months falling in love with this girl, and they explained that they had never seen Jughead look so smitten before.

“How was New York, Jug?” FP asked, taking Jughead’s suitcase from him.  Jughead shrugged.

“It was nice.”

“Good food?” he questioned, trying to get his son to open up.  Jughead nodded tiredly.

“Yeah, food was great,” he replied monotonously.

“And the internship?”

“Helpful,” Jughead responded.  “I think it’ll help me improve as a writer.”

“That’s good,” FP said, raking a hand through his hair.  “You had another person with you, right?”  FP noticed Jughead tense up at this.

“Yeah,” he answered quietly. “Yeah, I had a counterpart.”

“What was she like?” Jughead looked up at his dad.

“You already know who it is,” he replied, shaking his head.  “Who told you, Betty?”  FP pursed his lips.

“Yeah, her and Archie and Veronica.  But listen, Jug, you’re going to have your heart broken countless other times.  You’ll get over this girl,” he attempted to comfort Jughead.

“Dad, she wasn’t just a girl,” he protested.  “She was amazing and quick-witted, and I fell in love with her and then everything went to shit.  But the worst part is that it’s okay, because she loved me too.  She fucking loved me, and I kissed her, and now I may never see her again.”

“Well if you loved her that much, you may see her again,” FP shrugged.  “Fate is a tricky thing, son, but the universe seems to cooperate better if you love someone.”

Your name: submit What is this?

“Oh, for the love of God!” The young woman complained before taking a long gulp of her drink as she watched her team’s pitcher fail for the fourth time tonight. “Sal, I swear, I’m gonna kill him.”

“Well, at least you’re still in the lead.” The bartender chuckled, wiping down the countertop in between the two.

“Yeah, no thanks to Bryan Mitchell.” She sighed, shaking her head in disappointment.

It wasn’t exactly one of the biggest games of the season, but to her it just about was. The Mets had a surprising comeback in 2016 and the last thing her Yankees needed was to lose to that pathetic excuse of a baseball team. With her eyes glued on the television in this small but cozy downtown bar, (Y/N) placed her glass of whiskey back on her lips and let the hard liquid tear its way down her throat.

As soon as the batter of the opposing team failed to successfully hit the ball, (Y/N) let out a much needed breath of relief. Her attention was completely dedicated to the game playing on the tv screen. Well, that is, until she heard the sound of the front door opening. She didn’t quite know why, but (Y/N) felt inclined to look at whomever was arriving at this small bar she frequented so much. And, boy, was she glad she did.

Her breath hitched in her throat the second she caught sight of the incredibly handsome guy walking inside, a backwards cap settled on his dark brown hair that she felt the sudden desire to run her fingers through. The first thing she noticed was the sexy as hell scruffy, but surprisingly tame, beard on his jaw, her imagination immediately lighting on fire with dirty thoughts. His toned arms and veins straining against his muscles as he coincidentally sat on the stool beside her and lifted his arm to get a hold of the bartender was what caught her focus next. The employee instantly strode towards the beautiful stranger and asked what he wanted to drink. He politely made his order and (Y/N) couldn’t find it in herself to take her gaze off of his plump and inviting lips.

Embarrassment like never before washed over her now blushed cheeks when he, suddenly, turned to her with a confused expression and she realized she had been caught staring. She tried her best to dart away from his stare, but his eyes locked onto hers and eager chills ran down her spine when a small smirk made its way on his pink lips. She took the opportunity to really look at his eyes and they certainly didn’t fail to make her knees weak. They weren’t just a regular hazel color, they were warm with a liquid golden-brown that also had a spark of mischief in them she felt so inclined to get to know. It was strange how they both connected so easily just through looks even though neither one of them believed in love at first sight. The two did, however, believe in infatuation at first sight.

The smirk on his face didn’t leave even when she managed to break the stare the moment she heard the crowd cheering on the tv and she, immediately, turned to discover what just happened in the baseball game. Dylan certainly noticed that his Mets had just made a homerun, but he couldn’t take his eyes off of the girl in the stool next to him. She wore high-waisted jean shorts that definitely worked in favor of her, breath taking, legs and his mind already came up with different scenarios of them spread before him. Her shirt wasn’t revealing in any way, it was just a plain Star Wars tee, and yet he still felt attracted to it. Maybe it’s the fact that he already knew they had a common love for this geeky movie series without even needed to exchange in small talk. But, the way her natural hair perfectly fell on her shoulders made Dylan want to push it aside and nibble down on her inviting neck.

“Are you serious?!” The gorgeous girl shouted, angrily pointing towards the screen even though she knew the umpire couldn’t actually hear her. “That was clearly foul play!”

Her words sparked interest in him and, reluctantly doing so at first, Dylan eventually turned his head towards the sports game. A smile lit up on his face as he watched his team celebrate their newest point only to, suddenly, remember the girl he had his eye on was complaining about this very achievement.

“Foul play?” Dylan questioned and (Y/N) immediately turned around towards the source of the charming voice. “Wait, are you a Yankees’ fan?”

“A proud one to be exact.” She smiled happily and if it weren’t for his shock with this new discovery, he certainly would’ve swooned at how beautiful she was.

“Perfect.” He sighed, only now realizing the bartender had left his drink in front of him when he was too busy gawking at her just moments ago.

“What?” She asked, genuinely confused at his odd reaction and watched him take a sip from his bottle of beer. Then, the realization hit her like a truck and she shook her head with disappointment. “Oh, no. You’re a Mets fan, aren’t you?”

Dylan didn’t even say anything. He just put his bottle back down on the surface and reached behind his head to turn his baseball cap forwards. Immediately revealing The New York Mets logo stamped on the hat and (Y/N) held back her laughter at the unexpected situation they found themselves in.

“A proud one to be exact.” Dylan repeated her words and, this time, (Y/N) actually let a laugh fall from her lips. It was music to his ears and he desperately wanted to hear it again.

Their attention was back on the game when the sound of bickering and chaotic commotion came from the tv, both now focused on what was happening. Neither one of them knew why the two teams were now fighting, but their hearts lodged in their throats as they watched the players lunge at each other. It was hard to tell who exactly started the fight, but by the commentaries coming from the voice-overs it seemed to be the Yankees’ fault.

“Of course.” Dylan shook his head, taking another gulp of his beer. “Wouldn’t be the first time.”

(Y/N) immediately turned to glare at him, rage and frustration rushing through her veins at the sound of disregard towards her favorite baseball team.

“Excuse me?” She hissed, completely offended at his remark.

“Oh, I’m sorry, does the 2000 World Series not ring any bells to you?” He retorted with a cocky smirk.

“You mean the year we completely destroyed your team’s ass?” She replied, a grin on her face as she proudly spoke. “Something we had already accomplished countless times and would continue doing ‘till, literally, this very day.”

“Roger Clemens and Mike Piazza.” Dylan simply stated, chosing to ignore her bragging and (Y/N)’s eyes widened at the familiar names.

“There’s no proof Clemens intentionally hit Piazza in the head with that fastball.” She defended and he let out a dark chuckle.

“Seriously? You’re really going to defend someone who gave a fellow baseball player a concussion just because he had terrible anger management?”

“Okay, you know what?” (Y/N) scoffed, rolling her eyes at him. “At least we have players that are actually good at pitching.”

That spiteful comment was enough to spark something in him other than desire for this girl and, needless to say, Dylan was outraged. No one can just mock his beloved Mets and think they can easily get away with it.

“Says the girl whose team lost to us, their biggest rivals, in a 15 to 6 defeat in 2008.” Dylan retaliated and didn’t expect the sudden chuckle (Y/N) let out.

“Sure, but what’s one losing game compared to the 27 different World Series said girl’s team has already won?” She shrugged and Dylan hated the fact that she was right. “Making her baseball team the one with the most wins ever.

“And sweetie,” (Y/N) continued, placing a hand on his thigh that sent lustful jolts throughout Dylan’s entire body. “You’re sad little team isn’t even close to being an actual rival of ours, not when you’ve only won a pathetic amount of 2 World Series. How about you try to insult me when you catch up with us big boys, huh?”

“Fuck, I don’t know what drives me crazier.” Dylan whimpered at her touch, his eyes boring into her dilated ones and there’s no doubt both of them clearly wanted to rip each other’s clothes off. “The fact that you keep dissing my Mets or the fact that you’re extremely sexy talking so passionately about baseball like that.”

With a sly smile on her face and confidence she didn’t actually know she had in her, the young woman extending her hand towards him.

“(Y/N) (Y/L/N).” She greeted as he slipped his own hand into her grasp and shook them together. “Huge Yankees fan who apparently also happens to be very sexy.”

“Dylan O'Brien.” He smiled back at her, a small chuckle escaping his throat at her comment. “Long suffering Mets fan.”

“Nice to meet you, Dylan.” She laughed and he laughed along with her when her eyebrows, suddenly, furrowed. “Wait, why do I feel like I’ve heard that name somewhere before?”

“I, uh-” Dylan nervously scratched the back of his neck. “I’m an actor.”

“Hey, that’s right!” She exclaimed, now putting together the puzzled pieces in her mind. “You’re that kid from that werewolf show.”

“Yeah, Teen Wolf.” He corrected and she let out a long oh of realization as she remembered all the times she flickered through her channels and passed by this show without second glance.

“So, what brings a Hollywood star like you to this unknown bar?” (Y/N) asked, a playful smirk on her lips. “Shouldn’t you be out partying with models or other celebrities?”

“Nah, I hate that stuff.” He shook his head. “I really love my job but despise the attention.”

“I see.” She smiled, not expecting to meet such a humble famous person. Living in LA, you meet a few here and there and they’re usually always very egotistical. It’s quite refreshing to get to know someone that’s the complete opposite.

“But, what about you? What do you you do?” Dylan asked, taking another gulp of his beer.

“I’m the, um, GM of the Dodgers.” (Y/N) stated nervously and it took everything in him not to spit out his drink in utter shock. The woman giggled at his astonished gaze, his eyes practically bulging out of their sockets.

“Y-You’re the General Manager of the fucking Los Angeles Dodgers?!” Dylan exclaimed after he managed to successfully swallow his alcohol.

“Why so surprised?” She challenged and Dylan couldn’t stop staring at her in complete awe. “Is it because I’m a woman?”

“No!” Dylan frantically shook his head. “It’s because I was already so attracted to you and, now, fuck… I think you might just be the death of me.”

“Well, O'Brien.” She grinned and Dylan suddenly moaned when she unexpectedly gripped tightly onto his thigh. “I’m very attracted to you, too.”

“Hey, do you want to get out of here?” He asked, beyond ready to do so many sinful things to her that even the devil himself would be ashamed of.

“Ah, the game’s still on.” She shook her head as she pointed towards the television. “Can’t stop supporting my Yankees just for a hook up.”

“The fact that you work for one baseball team yet your favorite is a completely different one amazes me.” Dylan chuckled, his eyes lingering over her body before landing back on her own.

“What can I say?” (Y/N) shrugged, the actor internally moaning when she bit down on her bottom lip. “I like to keep people on the edge of their seats.”

“Well, you certainly have me on mine.”

The sexual tension between the two was so strong that even the bartender could feel it seething off of them and taking over the entire room. He, honestly, thinks he could cut it with a knife from how palpable it was. (Y/N) still hadn’t removed her grip on his thigh and Dylan silently prayed to any god out there that she wouldn’t, his body craving her touch so much it made him hazy.

“How about a little bet to make things interesting?” She proposed and Dylan’s eyes perked up with intrigue.

“Go on.” He gestured, leaning in closer to her.

“If, after the game, the Yankees have won, you have to tweet out that my team is better than yours.” She stated with a grin and Dylan immediately scoffed at her proposal. “However, if the Mets win, you can take me to your place and have your way with me.”

Dylan’s cock already felt hard just at the offer alone as he watched her take a sip of her whiskey with a naughty smirk. It took all of the self control he had in him not to moan out and crash his lips against her red ones from the beautiful lipstick she was wearing.

“Deal.” He nodded and they shook hands for the second time tonight.

The two eagerly watched the game, both way too excited with what would happen right after. (Y/N) knew that, even if she does win, she definitely won’t be spending the night at her own house. They would constantly and shamelessly glance at each other, neither one caring about embarrassment. The lust and desire was so strong at this point that every stare, glance or lick of the lips was more than welcome. Not only were their bodies attracted to one another, but so were their minds. The two had more in common than they imagined and they enjoyed every second of mindless chatter and laughter. Dylan loved it when she laughed carelessly at his stupid jokes and (Y/N) felt like she was on cloud nine everytime he listened to her speak with such intrigue.

“Seventh inning stretch.” (Y/N) sighed, taking a sip from her third drink of the night as she groaned at the score. “And it’s tie.”

“Want to make things even more interesting?” Dylan smirked, narrowing his eyes in mischief and (Y/N) swooned, still not used to this man’s beauty.

“Just how interesting are we talking here?” She grinned, putting down the glass of alcohol she had in her hand.

“Let’s raise the stakes of this bet.”

“I’m listening.”

“If the Yankees win not only will I tweet they’re better than the Mets, but I’ll also record a video singing the Yankees’ theme to go along with it.” Dylan quirked his eyebrows and (Y/N) carefully listened to every word that came out of his mouth. “However, if my team wins, you have to come back to my place tonight and go on a date with me.”

(Y/N) eyes widened at the request and she, suddenly, felt her heart beat a little faster. With a happy smile now spreading across her face, she took her glass back in her small hand.

“Alright, O'Brien.” She nodded, clinking her drink with his. The sound echoing in their little bubble as they stared each other down. “I’m down with that, but you better start warming up your voice because there’s no way the Mets are going to win.”

It was as if the words she said immediately cursed the entire game the moment they fell from her red lips. The Mets were unexpectedly scoring homerun after homerun and (Y/N) would cringe everytime they did. Dylan, on the other hand, had a permanent smirk on his face the whole game. He would watch in awe whenever (Y/N) would angrily scream at the television screen and he couldn’t wait till she screaming under him. It didn’t take long for the game to end and (Y/N) question her entire existence. It’s not that she didn’t want the things that came with Dylan winning, oh she definitely wanted them, it’s the fact that her incredibly skillful and talented Yankees lost to the fucking Mets.

“Well, well, well.” Dylan grinned, standing up from his stool as (Y/N) groaned at his taunting. “Looks like my sad little team caught up with the big boys.”

The beautiful woman glared at his mockery towards the exact words she used just a few hours ago. They were meant to work in her favor not Dylan’s. She stood up from her own stool and took a step towards him, their faces now inches from each other.

“It’s only the beginning of the season.” She defended and Dylan smiled at her proximity, the smell of alcohol on her breath making him drunk on her. “The Mets won’t survive the entire year and you fucking know it.”

“I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.” Dylan retorted and she couldn’t keep her stare away from his lips as he tugged the bottom one in between his teeth, (Y/N) instinctively doing the same. Dylan’s eyes looked down at hers and it was as if their little feud immediately disappeared and now all they could focus on was what was going to happen next.

“Okay, okay.” The bartender broke their stares, blushes painting both of their cheeks. “(Y/N) take your boy toy and get out of here already before you two start having sex on my countertop.”

“Sorry, Sal.” She cleared her throat and Dylan nervously scratched the back of his neck. “We were just leaving.”

The two shared smirks, lust taking over both of their pupils before they ran out of the door. Sal laughing at them as he closed his bar down.

“Kids.” He shook his head with a smile plastered on his face.

The ride to Dylan’s house was surprisingly pleasant. They found more things they shared in common like their love for goofy comedies and their incredibly similar taste in music. Dylan put his phone in the radio of his car and they spent the rest of the ride singing loudly to the songs they both knew by heart. Laughter was the second main theme of the night, right after desire.

“Do you want something to drink?” Dylan asked the second he unlocked the door to his one bedroom apartment and they both walked inside.

“No,” (Y/N) chuckled as she watched him throw his house keys on a small table and turn around to face her. “I’m pretty sure I had enough at the bar.”

“Yeah, you’re probably right.” He laughed, nodding. “What about something to eat?”

“Not hungry.” She shrugged. “But you can eat if you’re hungry.”

“Oh, I’m hungry.” Dylan licked his lips, walking towards her in a predatory fashion and (Y/N)’s swallowed nervously at how sexy he looked. “Just not for food.”

Her breath hitched in her throat at his comment, jolts of lust rushing through her body and landing in her core. Dylan didn’t even wait for a possible response before crashing his mouth on hers and kissing her with such force he had to hold her lower back tightly so she wouldn’t fall. Both of them have been anticipating that moment the entire night and it was so much better than either could’ve expected. Their lips meshed together in sync with the perfect combination of hard and passionate. (Y/N) wrapped her arms around his neck to drop his baseball cap off his head and finally be able to run her fingers through his dark hair. The second Dylan bit down on her bottom lip, she tugged at the roots provoking a moan to escape from his mouth. The sound sent shivers down her spine and she knew that she desperately wanted to do more than just kiss.

(Y/N) broke the kiss to take a breath, but Dylan didn’t dare stop. He pushed her waist closer into him and she moaned when she felt his growing bulge against her body. Dylan left lingering kisses on her neck which spread goosebumps all over her skin. (Y/N) tried to reach down his back and pull the blue t-shirt off of him but Dylan just grinned against her neck.

“I’m in charge here, remember?” Dylan stated, his hot breath fanning across causing (Y/N) to shiver in response. “And I want to take things slow.”

“Fuck.” She whimpered when he nibbled on her pulse point and began sucking, clearly wanting to leave a hickey there.

Dylan took his time leaving kisses and hickeys wherever he damn pleased and it drove (Y/N) crazy. His provocative touches and the way his lips moved against her skin made her knees weak, wetness already pooling in her panties just from the teasing alone.

“Do something.” She moaned.

“Are you gonna beg for it?” He snickered and (Y/N) moaned again just at his dirty talk.

But, (Y/N) does not beg. She never had to beg to a man before and she won’t start now. Then again, she’s never met anyone like Dylan before. He had her wrapped around his finger just from one night alone.

“I don’t beg.” She shook her head and Dylan slipped his hands down to her ass, squeezing roughly.

“You might as well start learning how to.” Dylan’s face returned to hers, their lips slightly touching. “Because I love it when a woman begs.”

“And I love it when a guy actually fucking touches me.” She retorted and the smile on Dylan’s face didn’t go unnoticed.

He let go of her completely and she whimpered at the loss of contact, wanting desperately to feel his body back on hers. They took this moment to stare at each other and both loved the sight. The two had swollen lips from kissing so hard and smudged red lipstick all over their lips, chins and cheeks. Dylan placed his hand on the hem of her Star Wars shirt and pulled it off her, (Y/N) slightly shivering at the new lack of warmth. He kissed her gently, mostly to tease, as he unbottoned her high-waisted shorts and let them fall on the floor. As she stepped out of the jeans, Dylan licked his plump lips in appreciation at her gorgeous body. She was wearing a matching pair of simple a bra and panties, but the black heels she had on made her look beyond sexy to him. Dylan’s cock twitched against his jeans, desperately wanting to be inside of this breath-taking woman in front of him.

“Take off your bra.” He commanded and usually (Y/N) wouldn’t like being the submissive one during sex but this dominant side of him was turning her on more than she expected.

Slowly reaching behind her back, she unclasped the bra and brought the straps down until she was finally bare. Dylan’s eyes immediately stared at her breasts, the rosy pink nipples perked and ready to be played with. Which was exactly what he decided to. He took two quick steps towards her before returning his hands on her waist, (Y/N)’s back arching the second Dylan’s lips attached to one of her nipples. His hand carefully massaging the other breast he currently wasn’t working his tongue against. She couldn’t contain her moans at finally being able to feel something, but her core still ached in anticipation. When Dylan bit down on her nipple and pulled at it with his teeth, (Y/N) had to press her thighs together to be able to relieve some of the pressure.

“Ah, ah, ah.” Dylan tsked, shaking his head before removing his mouth. He pressed the hand that was on her breast on her thigh and pushed her legs apart. “I call all of the shots.”

“Ple-” She was just about to beg but realized what she was going to do and stopped herself immediately.

“What was that?” He smirked, gripping onto her skin and (Y/N) whimpered at the pressure that was in one place but should’ve been in another. “Were you about to beg?”

“Never.” She panted, his lips back on her nipple.

“Oh, come on Yankees Princess.” He snickered and she not only moaned at the new pet name but the feeling of him sliding his fingers closer to the place she needed him most. “All you have to do is ask.”

She chose to remain silent, not at all trusting her own voice and mind. (Y/N) was already putty in his hands and she didn’t want to give him anymore satisfaction. That is, until he completely broke away from her and took a step back. She stared at him with wide eyes and Dylan grinned sexily before removing his t-shirt. She felt cold and odd without his touch as he unbuckled his belt, pulling it out of his pants. Their eyes full of lust and desire never left each other even when he unbottoned his khakis and brought them down to the floor. Dylan kicked them away, but didn’t approach her again like (Y/N) expected. Instead, he folded his arms across his toned chest and cocked an eyebrow.

“I’m not touching you until you beg for it.” He challenged and her jaw dropped in awe.

Her eyes broke their gaze to look over his body and she swallowed nervously as she took the sight in, frustrated with herself because she now felt inclined to actually beg. Thanks to his crossed arms, Dylan’s muscles were pressing against his skin and it made her head spin. (Y/N) bit down on her lip when she looked at the trail of dark and scruffy hair above his boxers which held the massive erection bulging against the fabric, precum seeping through the cotton. Her core throbbed like never before thanks to the handsome man in front of her.

“Fine, fuck it.” She groaned and Dylan’s ears perked at her words. “Dylan, please touch me. I need you.”

It wasn’t exactly as desperate as he initially wanted, but it was enough for the desire pulsing in his own veins. He, too, wanted to touch her just as much as she did. And in a matter of seconds, Dylan rushed to her and instantly ripped apart her panties. Before she could even complain, his hands moved down to her ass and lifted her up. He kissed her passionately, tongue and all, as he brought her to his bedroom. Placing her down on his empty desk, Dylan spread her legs and fit himself in between them.

He trailed wet kisses down her body and (Y/N) buzzed with excitement. Once he reached her stomach, Dylan kneeled down in front of her and gripped his fingers against her heated thighs. He licked his way towards he left thigh and trailed his tongue close to her core. Just as he was about to touch her there, Dylan immediately switched course and began licking her right thigh.

“I’m gonna kill you.” She hissed through her clenched teeth and Dylan chuckled against her skin.

“Patience, Yankees Princess.” He teased as he nibbled. “Good things come to those who wait.”

She grunted, but accepted none-the-less. Although it’s not like she actually had a choice, the Mets did win after all. (Y/N) ran her fingers through his hair, slightly pulling the strands and Dylan would hum in appreciation. The vibrations shooting through her body and increasing the pain in her core.

When Dylan felt like she’d been teased enough, he let his tongue trace against the place they both desired the most. (Y/N) immediately moaned, not at all caring how loud she was being. His tongue spread apart her soaking wet folds and the young woman’s hips bucked when he momentarily trailed against her swollen clitoris. Dylan’s hand grasped tighter onto her legs as he gently slid his tongue into her, the ache in (Y/N)’s core now being replaced with pleasure and satisfaction.

She whimpered when he pulled his tongue away after working inside of her a few minutes but almost screamed out the second his lips attached to her clit and sucked furiously. One of his hands came into contact and slowly slipped a finger inside of her, her hips bucking instantly at the delicious pumping.

“Fuck.” She moaned and Dylan’s hard cock felt uncomfortable in his boxers as he watched her become a panting mess.

The feeling of his finger inside of her heat and pressing against her soft walls made his head spin, his dick begging to replace his hand’s place. But, Dylan was determined to make her cum with just his hands and mouth first. When he felt she was ready for a second one, he put another finger in and pumped at a faster pace. One of (Y/N)’s hands was buried in his hair and the other gripped tightly on the edge of his desk, her knuckles going white at the pressure.

With the mixture of his fingers curling against her walls and his tongue drawing figure eights on her clitoris as his lips sucked, it was more than enough to quickly build up an orgasm inside of the woman moaning uncontrollably. It didn’t take long to build and, the second Dylan unexpectedly bit down on her clit, her orgasm spilled over her entire body. Dylan didn’t dare stop what he was doing when her legs shook intensely along with her back arching up against the wall. He didn’t even stop when they did. The sounds that fell from her swollen lips and the way she looked as she came made Dylan greedy and he desperately wanted it to happen again. (Y/N) was still sensitive from her first orgasm and in a matter of minutes, she was cumming for the second time tonight. The sensitivity of her core making it easy to reach the edge of her pleasure again.

Even though Dylan removed his head from her inner thighs and attached his lips back onto hers in a forceful kiss, (Y/N) could still feel the burning of his scruff scratching against her tingling skin and she truly hopes the sensation never goes away.

There was more precum spread across his boxers that earlier and Dylan was beyond ready to get rid of the excruciating pain his cock felt from the lack of attention. He made his way back in between her legs after pulling his underwear off and kicking them somewhere far from his body. Dylan brought his hand to his member and pumped a few times in preparation. (Y/N) immediately moaned at the sight of him touching himself and Dylan certainly didn’t expect it.

“What-” He smirked, biting down on his lip at the feeling of his own thumb spreading around the precum on his tip. “Do you have a masterbation kink?”

“Maybe.” She confessed, a bright blush painting her cheeks as her pupils dilated when he increased his pace.

“Damn.” Dylan groaned, throwing his head back with shut eyes. “As much as I love this new discovery, I really want to fuck you right now.”

“Oh, please do.” She grinned, spreading her legs apart even further.

Dylan didn’t even need to think twice before placing both of his hands back on her thighs and lining himself at her entrance. His cock throbbed as he coated his tip in her slick wetness, lubricating himself. The two loudly moaned the moment he easily slid into her, the feeling of them becoming one making their bodies throb with excitement. Dylan let his forehead fall on her shoulder as he waited for to adjust to his size.

“Go ahead.” She stated when she was ready and Dylan immediately pulled back before pushing in again. He started thrusting into her slowly, moaning shamelessly at the feeling of her soft and wet walls tightly around him and (Y/N) loved the delicious feeling of Dylan stretching her as he pumped their bodies together.

(Y/N) wrapped her legs around his waist, giving him a new and deeper angle which he gladly accepted. His hands now moving their positions to thrust harder into her, his left palm flat out on the wall behind her and his right gripping harshly on the edge of his desk. She, however, decided to keep her hands on the arching muscles of his bare back. Considering how turned on they already were, it didn’t take much for the familiar knot to grow inside of the two. Dylan had to use every ounce of self control in him not to cum the second she unintentionally clenched around his shaft and, instead, he sunk his teeth into her shoulder.

Dylan pounded deeper into her, now continuously hitting her g-spot no one had ever found until this very moment, and his dream of hearing the beautiful Yankees’ fan from the bar screaming under him finally came true. Her voice echoed in the room along with the sounds of his desk mercilessly banging against the wall and wet skin slapping against wet skin.

“Fuck, I’m almost there.” Dylan panted, loving the feeling of her breasts bouncing against his bare and sweaty chest.

“Me, too.” She shouted, bringing her own hand down to her clit since Dylan was using his for stability.

It took her about 15 seconds of furiously rubbing her already overly sensitive nub before she felt the tight knot inside of her explode and spread mind blowing pleasure throughout her entire body. Dylan tried to hold his orgasm in him the best he could since he didn’t exactly want to cum inside of her without a condom. It was extremely difficult to contain himself, especially when she clenched around him again and dug her nails into his back, but Dylan somehow managed to contain himself as he shouted in frustration. Once he noticed she was back down from her high, he immediately pulled himself out of her and took a step back.

“On your knees.” He panted, his voice weak as he pointed to the ground in front of him.

Even though she was completely hazy from the ground breaking orgasm she just had, (Y/N) slowly slid off the desk and instantly fell to her knees. Dylan didn’t know wether or not she fell due to how weak her legs were or if it was actually intensional but the second she gripped his member and licked his tip, the thoughts immediately flew out of his head. Dylan’s mind now focused on her taking him into her warm mouth. His hands instinctively dug into her hair as she slowly bobbed his cock. In a matter of seconds, (Y/N) hollowed out her cheeks to make an even tighter environment for him and Dylan moaned shamelessly at the feeling.

(Y/N) absolutely loved that when her tongue grazed his wet member she could taste her juices on him and she decided to deepthroat him in appreciation. She took him in as far as she could, her nose buried in the patch of his dark hair and her throat gagging at the fullness. But, Dylan definitely loved it because his dick instantly twitched in response and he quickly pulled himself out of her mouth. His hot cum squirted out of his tip and he watched with hooded eyes as it painted her blushed cheeks. Normally, (Y/N) would never allow any man do such a thing to her but the way Dylan was looking at her with pure pleasure and enjoyment swimming in his dark pupils was enough to make her want it to happen again. His liquid dripped from her face and made its way down her breasts, Dylan unable to contain his groans at the sight.

“So, I’m guessing this is your kink.” She chuckled, coating one of her fingers with his release and putting it into her mouth.

“One of many.” Dylan smirked, extending his hand for her to grab with her free one.

They stared at each other with satisfaction in their eyes as he helped her stand, both of them simply knowing without the need to actually say that that was the best sex the two ever had.

“I’ll be right back.” Dylan stated, placing a lingering kiss on her lips before walking away and disappearing into his bathroom.

One of (Y/N)’s eyebrows quirked at the sudden sound of water from a sink running momentarily but, when he returned to her with a small and damp towel in his hands, everything made sense. He kindly wiped away the now sticky cum on her skin and she smiled up at him.

“Now about that date.” Dylan grinned, throwing the towel on the desk when he was done cleaning her body. “How does the premiere to my new movie with a romantic dinner afterwards sound?”

“A first date in the eyes of the public?” She questioned, challenging him. “Borderline crazy.”

“So, is that a yes?” He smirked and (Y/N) instantly laughed.

“Definitely yes.”

Fuel to Fire (4)

Stucky x reader

Notes: fluff, tattooing, some angst, smut (m/m and m/m/f), anxiety, depression, mentions of parental negligence, swearing.

Summary: Living their dream, Bucky and Steve run their tattoo shop ‘American Ink’ together, happily married for several years and business is going well. When a girl walks into their shop and inevitably into their lives right after they’ve received some exciting news, they have no idea how their lives are about to change with some harmless but straight-forward flirting.

Fuel to Fire (intro) Fuel to fire (2) Fuel to Fire (3)

A/N: it gets hot and steamy. And sexual.

“Where are we going?” Y/N asks as she has to walk a bit faster than she usually does to keep up with Steve. Bucky’s at American Ink, his entire day booked with appointments, and pouted only a little when Steve left with Y/N to run an errand.

“New York museum of modern art” Steve smiles at her and slows his pace to match Y/N’s.

“Is this because I told you I took art classes in college?”

“That’s part of it” Steve smiles secretively, “you remember the first day you came in to the shop?”

“When you were necking with your husband like teenagers?” Y/N grins and mumbles a ‘mission accomplished’ when Steve’s face goes a pretty shade of red.

Guy What Takes His Time*

Pairing: Steve Rogers x Reader
Featuring: Natasha, Wanda, Sharon (mentioned) and Sam.
Rating: Mature
Summary: Wanda, Natasha and Sam think Steve has feelings for Reader, but she tells them otherwise while actually feeling the same way for the super soldier. One evening,  they all make a plan to make both of them confess the truth.
Word Count: 2.2k
Genre: Fluff/NSFW-ish
Warnings: build-up, suggestive themes, and innuendos, mentions of alcohol, sexual tension, a little bit of roleplay, flirting, Captain kink (?) and Steve being a cute flustered bastard.
Author's Note: It’s a rewrite of the flirty scene between Natasha and Bruce in Avengers: Age of Ultron (you can expect some references, though). I thought it could be fun to switch sides with Steve and see how it goes. It’s also inspired by Guy What Takes His Time covered by Christina Aguilera in Burlesque.

New Avengers Facility, Upstate New  York

“You did a great job, Y/N,” Steve announced in his deep voice as he passed the hallway with you, Natasha, and Wanda. “Ladies.” He stopped in his tracks, standing with this impressive physique, almost towering in front of you as his hands held the brown belt of his- oh, so sexy uniform.

“Thank you, Captain.” You smiled and he nodded slowly as if questioning whether he would stay to have a chat with you or not. He smiled gently and proceeded to take the stairs towards his personal quarters where he’d finally take a well-deserved shower after a hard, but successful mission with you and Sam.

Of course, he would’ve loved to linger awhile and see your smile just a little longer. He enjoyed spending time with you and the feeling was mutual. Maybe that after all these days spent with him, these missions where you saved each other, being partners and all this harmless flirting, there was something between you. Your chemistry was obvious to everyone after all.

“Have you seen the way he looks at you?” Wanda nudged your side and you winced, narrowing your eyes. “Don’t be silly, Steve likes you a lot.”

dare - peter parker

Dare - ((Tom Holland)) Peter Parker x Reader | 3rd Person

Prompt: What happens when (Y/N) can’t refuse a dare, and she takes it too far?

a/n: THIS IS MY LONGEST IMAGINE YET AND I’M SO HAPPY WITH IT!! also thank you for all the love on my last 3 imagines! and yes, the ladder part is based on the scenes in nerve!

(Y/N) didn’t know how her reputation came about. It started as a single dare, to which she completed. The one dare turned into five, five turned into 15, and eventually turned into 154 completed dares. Every dare she finished, one of her friends took a picture. (Y/N)’s wall was full of pictures, each with a date and dare name.

Now she was in the same situation. (Y/N) was sitting in a room with her friends, playing the infamous truth or dare. It came to her turn and obviously she chose dare. It didn’t come as a surprise, yet everyone cheered. (Y/N)’s friend smirked and ushered her out of the room. Once (Y/N) was gone, her friends begun to discuss the dare.

Every time (Y/N) was assigned a dare, it was her friends’ mission to make sure she couldn’t complete it. They called (Y/N) back in the room and one friend stood, beginning to announce the dare. “You, (Y/N) (Y/L), have to meet and take a picture with…” they paused, “Spiderman.”

(Y/N) felt her eyes widen, and looked over to her friend Peter, who stood with a slight fear in his eyes, though she couldn’t pinpoint what the fear was for exactly. Nonetheless, she had to manage to track down, meet, and take a picture with Spiderman. Spiderman was elusive. Even though she lived in New York, (Y/N) had only ever seen him once. She didn’t even know what to do.

“How much time do I have?” (Y/N) asked, feeling anxiety bubbling in her stomach.

“You have,” The friend turned around and asked everyone else, “5 days.”

“5 days!?” (Y/N) was beyond livid, “You are fucking joking!”

“Sorry (Y/N), I guess you can’t complete this dare.” They said, smirking.

It had been three days already, and (Y/N) was getting desperate. She tried to do some petty crimes like stealing, but Spiderman wouldn’t come unless it was an emergency. (Y/N) figured he had better things to do than try and stop a high schooler from stealing.

Day four. She had one day left. Her reputation was on the line. Not only her reputation was, it seemed like her life was. Everything she had was built on this persona of fearlessness and bravery. Her friends, the way she carried herself, her confidence, even her family knew. It was pretty silly, but it was true.

She thought back to a previous dare. (Y/N) had jumped across from the roof of her apartment complex to another building. That was the first, and only, time she had seen Spiderman. He was there and jumped down, thinking she had been trying to commit suicide. It was actually his web, which had pushed her to the other building, that had helped her complete that dare.

She called up everyone and told them to meet her at her apartment building. And to bring a ladder. Everyone soon came, and (Y/N) explained the plan. She went to the top of the apartment complex and took the ladder. With help from friends on the other side, they steadied the ladder so it was suspended between the two buildings.

growing pains ❀ peter parker

summary : if there’s anyone terrified of the future and the uncertainty it brings, it’s peter parker. luckily, you’re his shoulder to lean on, and, as he hopes, always will be.

word count : 1.5k

Peter took great pride in his intelligence, his knowing of things that other people were not as aware of or didn’t bother trying to learn. He was a collector of knowledge and knew too much about a little bit of everything. Above all else, this was one of the main reasons as to why the future, and the looming threat of it, was an anxiety inducing topic of conversation.

What college are you planning on attending? His palms start sweating.

What do you want to be when you grow up? His heart starts pounding.

Do you always want to live in New York? Blood rushes to his ears.

Is Y/N always going to be a part of your life? The worst question of all, the one that made his face go red and his knees go weak as he tried to come up with a plausible answer in just a few short seconds. It was the one question that had no defining response to it. There was no way to tell. College, he could figure that out in no time. He could go Ivy if he really wanted to. He knew that he’d end up doing something related to science when he was older, after Spider-Man was long since retired. He loved New York with all his hearts, loved Queens most of all, and couldn’t see himself being anywhere else. He’d never leave Aunt May, either, at least not so soon.

But with relationships, especially the ones you have at fifteen years old with a mind clouded in the wonderful pieces of your first beautiful love, you never really know for sure. And Peter Parker is a boy who likes knowing for sure. The fact that he doesn’t has been practically haunting him for the past few weeks now, as summer comes to a close and Junior year is just too visible on the horizon.

Unfortunately for him, Peter was not the type of person that was an expert at concealing their feelings. In fact, he was rather an open book, at least to someone who knew him as perfectly as you did. To you, Peter wore his heart on his sleeve and was undoubtedly honest to a fault. His expressions, his mannerisms, were enough to clue you in to when he was upset, stressed, angry, and each emotion in between.

Which was why you could tell he was distraught the moment he walked into your room, flopping down onto your bed with a slight pout visible on his lip. He played it off like he was perfectly perfect, but you knew better. He’d been reading on your bed for over an hour without a word and while typically you’d enjoy just being in his presence, talking aside, there was something different about tonight. “Pete?” He lifted his eyes from the page he had been struggling to read for the pat fifteen minutes. “You okay?” Concerning gaze, worried twist of your mouth, he knew the look on his face was conveying anything but happiness- and he was so, so happy to be there with you. The prospect of the future, these growing pains he had feeling more and more frequently, was what was causing him the discomfort.

Despite knowing that you weren’t going to believe, he gave you a sweet smile anyway and nodded vigorously. “O-Of course, my love.” His smile stretched wider. “Why- why wouldn’t I be?” That look of innocence was utterly deceiving.

“You’re a really bad liar,” you replied, shaking your head. Propping yourself up on your elbows, you took his novel away from him and ignored the indignant sound of protest that passed his lips when you did so. You held up your hands and with a defeated huff, Peter laced his fingers through yours. “What’s on your mind, Peter Parker? You know you can tell me anything.”

“Yeah, yeah, no I know.” His voice was quiet as he stroked your hand, gentle as ever, absentmindedly with the pad of his thumb. His gaze was focused on your hands and not your eyes the way it usually was.

“Then look at me, would you?” You took one of your hands out of his and placed it under his chin, tilting his face up toward you. “C’mon, brown eyes, why are you so stressed lately? It’s the summertime, we’re gonna be juniors. If you’re upset about something, I wanna know what it is.”

His weakness, as always, was you and that unparalleled way you had of convincing him to relent . “I’m, um, I’m scared, I guess.” The admission came with an obvious hesitation on his part, but you waited patiently for your boyfriend to continue. “Scared of the future,” he elaborated.

You moved your hand again to cup his cheek, soft as usual. “What about the future?”

“Well I, I kind of take pride in being, you know, smart and knowing pretty much everything,” he hated how conceited he sounded in that moment, but you nodded along anyway and squeezed his hand comfortingly. “But, the future is- it’s, like, the one thing I can’t know. That scares me Y/N. I hate that. Because I need to know the future. I need to know what’s gonna happen to me, to… to, um, to us.”

You opened your mouth to give him a reply, but he was on a roll, quickly intercepting the chance to speak more, which you gave him without protest. “You… you know how I feel about you. You make me the best possible version of myself and you are the most supportive person I’ve ever met besides Ned who’s more like my fan club than anything but he’s my best friend so it doesn’t really matter but anyway,” he let out a breath, “I am- I am so lucky to have you in my life, you know? So lucky to even be existing at the same time as someone so wonderful inside and out. A- And I… I can’t think of… of being without you. Okay? It scares me.”

The vulnerable boy in front of you had your heart, no doubt about that. You sat up, crossing your legs and opening your arms, knowing he’d be wrapping himself around you in no time at all. He had his head on your shoulder and his  delicate curls were tickling your cheek because of his permanent bedhead and you could both feel your hearts swelling with love for the other person. He rearranged himself so that his head was in your lap, staring up at you with those doe eyes that made your stomach fill with butterflies.

“You’re a sweetheart, Peter.” You ran your hands through his hair the way he adored and you heard him let out the happiest of sighs, a tiny smile, this time genuine, appearing on his face. “And in case you didn’t realize already, I want us to be together for as long as humanely possible. Forever, maybe. I know we can’t be certain of anything that happens to us, but I’m certain that in this moment, you’re the only person I want to be with. There’s no telling what will happen to us a year from now, or ten years from now, but right now, you’re my whole heart, okay? Don’t worry.”

Maybe it was the way you were looking at him, maybe it was because you called him your whole heart in the same breath as saying that you wanted to be with him forever, but almost every ounce of Peter’s worries about growing up and getting older slipped from his mind as you leaned down to press a gentle kiss to his forehead in the tender way that you always loved him.

“Can you get me a sharpie?” He asked, pointing toward your bedside table. You reached over and handed it to him, giving him a questioning look. He took the cap off and stuck it in his mouth for a second, lifting up your hand and drawing a thin, somewhat haphazard circle around your ringer finger. He drew a little circle on the front of it before taking the cap and placing it on the marker again. “That’s a permanent marker. Just like my love for you.”

You giggled, you couldn’t help it, and raised your hand so you could get a better view. “Your love for me is a permanent marker, huh, Pete?” He laughed too, but his cheeks still went pink in the way that made you grin.

“You’re so annoying!” He groaned, playfully glaring up at you from his spot on your lap. “Let me be the smooth talking one for once!” You took his face in your hands again, your face above his.

“Nah, I like my Peter a blushing, beautiful mess. Never change.”

“If I never change, does that guarantee we’ll always be together?”

The sweet innocence of him was what made you adore him, the hopeful smile he gave you as he asked the question. And a question like that requires only one answer. “We’ve already grown up together. Forever isn’t that much different, huh?” He sat right up at that, unable to contain his happiness when he wrapped his arms around your waist and practically tackled you in a tight embrace that he had no plans of letting you out of at any point in his life. He’d be utterly ridiculous to let the girl who knew best how to comfort him, how to ease his worries, and was there for him through everything get away.

Even through the pains of growing up.

New York City was a much bigger place than (Y/N) had imagined it would be. She had been living in the city since she started her undergraduate degree but had been staying in a dorm throughout most of those years. It wasn’t until she contemplated continuing her education in graduate school that she actually decided it was time to find an apartment. She didn’t want to be one of those people in her early to mid twenties living in a dorm filled with eighteen and nineteen year-olds away from home for the first time in their lives. After searching endlessly for a descent place in a nice neighborhood and then a nice place in a descent neighborhood, she was given the opportunity to teach undergraduate survey level English courses at her university while she completed the department’s graduate program. With the extra source of income on top of her part-time job at the bookstore, she was able to afford rent on a nice place in a nice neighborhood; there was just one small problem.

For a steady month an a half, at the same time every night, without fail, the person who lived above her watches Netflix on a volume so loud it should blow the person’s eardrums out. At first she tried to ignore the inconsiderate individual above her, then came anger and she started poking at the ceiling with a broomstick or standing on a table and pounding her fist against her ceiling. After anger comes a long stint of passive aggressiveness where she would turn her TV on equally loudly or blast her music until she can’t hear the person above her anymore, but this only lead to people coming to her door and complaining about the volume of her electronics, which lead her to the most rational way to handle her problems.

Aggravated, (Y/N) stood in a pair of loose jogger sweatpants and a cropped shirt that didn’t expose any of her midsection. She was comfortably tasteful and would soon regret her choice of schlump clothes. Her fist pounded against the door, begging to be heard over what appeared to be prerecorded audience laughter. She quickly folded her arms over her chest and started tapping her foot, her impatience growing by the second. Just as she was about to bring her knuckles to the door again, she heard heavy footsteps making their way toward her.

The door crept open to reveal a tall man with thick brown hair and eyes so bright they outshines stars. “Can I help you?” a low, articulate voice flowed from the apartment and toward her ears.

“Um, hi,” she stated in a rather unsteady manner. Oh, fuck! That’s Sebastian Stan, her mind shouted as her eyes gapped at the man in front of her. “I’m (Y/N), I just moved in below you–” the man immediately nodded his head and offered her a small smile.

“You’re here about the volume aren’t you?” he grumbled with a laugh.

“Guilty,” she muttered in response, trying not to draw too much attention to the fact that her heart was pounding in her chest.

“I wish I could tell you there was something I could do about it, but I lost the remote and it’s one of those stupid new televisions that don’t have any buttons,” he sighed.

“How dare technology make TV buttons obsolete!” she scoffed, earning a small laugh from the she had admired from afar for so long. “If you have a smart phone I can show you how to program your phone to act as a TV remote.”

“Even if I have a Samsung TV and an iPhone?” he asked.

“Yes,” she chuckled, “even then.” Smiling, he stood aside and allowed the door to creep open even more.

“Please, come in,” he said with a warm voice. “I’ve gotten complaints from everyone around me already. I figured that the person below me would be next.”

“I tried to just ignore it, then I started to try annoying you by doing the same thing, but that just got me yelled at by my neighbors,” she admitted as he unlocked his phone and handed it over to her. She quickly downloaded an app to fix all of their problems and synced it with his television. When she handed it back to him and pressed the volume buttons to test her skills, he couldn’t help but laugh at himself.

“I would never have thought to do that,” he sighed. “Thank you so much, (Y/N).”

“It’s no big deal…” she paused, not sure if he had mentioned his name in passing or not and definitely not wanting to seem like a creepy stalker.

“Sebastian,” he hurried to fill in the blanks.

“It was not a problem, Sebastian,” she finished, not being able to control the blush rising into her cheeks.

“How can I repay you?” he quickly asked as she shifted on her feet.

“The silence is a gift in itself,” she couldn’t help but joke as another adorable smile slid across the man’s lips.

“Have you eaten yet?”

“Um, no?” her voice inflected upward as he stared down at her with a breathtaking smile.

“I just ordered a mountain of shrimp fried rice and some take-out—would you like to join me? It’s the least I could do.” She hesitated, not wanting to shoot down his offer entirely, but still wary about the dark realities of the world.

“I could be a serial killer,” (Y/N) stated with a playfully dry tone in her voice.

“I’m pretty sure that female serial killers make up less than one percent of the population so I’ll take my chances with that,” he laughed.

“So do women who score INTJ on the Meyers Briggs and yet you’re talking to one.” She couldn’t help getting cocky. In a normal situation, she would be retreating back to her apartment by now, curling up in bed and eating Chinese food alone but since when is accidentally realizing Sebastian lived above her normal? Conversing with him seemed almost second nature to her, as if she had done this before and they were old friends catching up.

“I can’t force you to eat Chinese food and watch Parks and Rec with me, but I can say that it would be fun,” he said with a smirk on his face. (Y/N)’s heart started racing; is…is he flirting with me right now?

“You’re watching Parks and Rec tonight? Hell yeah, I’ll stay,” she smirked at him as he grinned and shook his head at her while laughing.

“Tonight? What do you mean tonight?” he huffed through his fake insulted expression.

“I’ve been here for almost two months and you’ve yet to actually binge watch a single show,” she accused.

“That’s because I lost my remote, remember,” he said with a laugh as he waved his phone. She couldn’t help but smirk as his large blue eyes widened from their banter. “Are you in or not?” he asked, changing the subject.

“I don’t want to impose on you and your home,” she stated more honestly and her timid nature returning.

“I promise you, (Y/N), it would be a pleasure.” Something about his voice and his smile made it impossible to turn down such a generous offer and she agreed.

Five episodes into Parks and Rec along with their mutual hunger and agitation toward slow delivery led (Y/N) and Sebastian to enter a state of friendliness neither of them really reached upon knowing someone for roughly two hours. Maybe their more outgoing natures were the result of drinking a few beers on empty stomachs, or maybe it was a connection between the two that neither of them wanted to address that made things like awkward conversational pauses and the occasional difficulty they each faced in starting a conversation disappear.

“Gosh damn it, Sebastian!” (Y/N) huffed as Sebastian flopped onto the couch beside her dropping his heavy legs onto her as she sat cross-legged on the couch. He couldn’t help the loud chuckle that escaped his lips. “What’s so funny?” she grumbled and narrowed her eyes playfully at him.

“You curse like Robin in the nineteen sixty-six Batman movies,” Sebastian continued to laugh as (Y/N) shoved his feet from her lap. “Golly Gee Willickers, Batman.”

“Oh, really,” she huffed and tossed a decorative pillow toward the man across from her on the couch. “Shut the fuck up! How’s that for cursing?” Sebastian continued to laugh at her as her eyebrows narrowed in on him and her lips pursed.

“I think you just don’t look frightening enough,” he said while turned his body to face hers.

“And you’re so menacing,” she huffed with a smirk, glad to see his goofy grin still plastered on his face. Just as he was about to pull a blanket over his feet, there was a knock at the door. “Finally, our food!” They called out. (Y/N) jumped and followed him to the door, lingering in his kitchen as he opened the door to tip the delivery driver. A huge gasp caught her attention and she quickly turned toward the men in the doorframe.

“You-you’re Captain America’s best friend!” the man’s voice was slurred as he stammered his statements. “You’re Sebastian Stan.”

(Y/N)’s eyes widened and she turned her back to the door in hopes that she could pretend she hadn’t heard what just happened, only to hear the door click closed behind her and Sebastian’s deflated voice engulf the room.

“I’m so sorry about that,” he said as he passed by (Y/N) to place each of the containers of food on the coffee table.

“Does that happen a lot?” she asked quickly trying to play it off.

“More than I’m comfortable with,” he sighed. “Why, are you going to start acting weird around me now?” She could see the apprehension in his eyes as he waited for her answer. Of course at the beginning of the night she thought it was weird to just casually hang out with your favorite celebrity, but she knew that making it weird would cause the situation to not exist, which she didn’t want to happen.

“Why would I start acting weird around you?” she asked while quickly filling up her bowl with fried rice and vegetables.

“Because I’m Sebastian Stan and that’s apparently a big deal,” he sighed, conflicted that her knowing who he was would hinder whatever friendship was forming.

“Slow down there,” she said as she tried to swallow a mouthful of food. “Not everything’s about you now. Remember who you’re talking to: less than one percent of the population.” (Y/N) felt the corners of her lips curl into a smirk as Sebastian smiled across the couch at her.

“That you are,” he said in a low sultry tone he had hoped she didn’t hear. (Y/N) was truly a genuine person and he was thrilled to have met her. Her ability to make him feel like just another guy, someone without millions of Instagram followers, someone who’s life isn’t constantly under a microscope, someone normal is something he had been looking for in another person for a long time. For a while he thought he could find that solace in another person in his field of work. Surely they would be able to understand the crazy life he lived and want the same things in a partner: stability, generosity, a grounded sense of mind. Unfortunately seeking romance with another actor only furthered the media exposure of the relationship rather than allowing them to have their own lives with one another.

“Besides, I knew who you were the second you opened the door.”

“Well someone is a stalker,” he teased through bites of rice.

“You know who else is a stalker?” she asked in reply, causing his eyebrows to move individually—one up and one down.

“The delivery guy?” he questioned while staring across the couch at the girl who sat with her knees up on her chest, resting a bowl between her knees.

“Serial killers,” she said and then winked. “Maybe living beneath you was all apart of my plan.”

“I’d gladly have you beneath me,” he said, intending to sound menacing and creepy but instead coming across as horny and creepy. “Fuck! That’s not what I meant!”

“That was a Freudian slip if I ever heard one,” (Y/N) started to laugh as Sebastian nudged her with his foot beneath the blanket they shared. He knew that it was much too early to be thinking of romance with the girl that came up to his floor to yell at him for his broken TV, but the feeling in his heart as the pair tossed their banter from one person to the other was so light hearted, like the onset of puppy love turning into a crush.

There was something about (Y/N) that was so open and kind that he knew he could trust her, despite her constant joking about being a lunatic, and he held onto that feeling the entire night until it was time for her to return to her floor and go to bed. “Wait,” Sebastian called as he hurried toward (Y/N) who was standing at his front door. He quickly shoved his phone into her hands and said probably the lamest line intended as flirtation in the history of love: “You know, incase I need someone to watch my house.” Thankfully she was understanding and kind enough to put her number in his phone and quickly text herself from his device before going back to her apartment and turning in for the night.

As (Y/N) curled up in bed, she heard a steady thud! thud! from above her and then her phone lit up with a message.

Seb Stan: That was me!

Trying not to laugh too loudly, she grabbed a prop light saber she got from Disneyland years ago and stretched her arms toward the ceiling of her bedroom, hitting it with the base of the prop.

Cute Neighbor: I know ;)

Come Home (Newt Scamander x Reader)

The winner of the Newt Vs. Steve contest. Hope you enjoy!

He sat across from you at the kitchen table in your small London flat. You lazily stirred a spoon in your cold tea, watching as he eagerly read a letter from New York; more specifically, a girl from New York. Tina Goldstein to be exact.

You knew by the glimmer in his green eyes that he was going to leave, most likely due to her requesting his presence in America. You knew that she was beginning to take a spot in his heart that was supposed to be meant for only you, and you didn’t know how to accept that.

“You look happy,” you noted, setting your spoon on the table as Newt lowered the letter. A grin had formed on his face, his eyes crinkled at the corners as he sat back in his squeaky chair.

“I guess I am,” he beamed, his smile remained bright as his eyes found yours.

“Care to elaborate?” You questioned, leaning back in your own chair while crossing your arms over your chest.

“It looks like I’m returning to New York again!” He exclaimed gleefully. “Tina located a few Bowtruckles and wants me to take them in! I can’t put into words how excited I am to return; there was so much I wanted to do last time and-“

“Am I going with you?” You interrupted his wild speech after noticing that he was only mentioning things that he wanted to do. Newt’s grin faltered and he moved foward to grasp onto your hand; you allowed him to and watched him carefully.

“I don’t think it would be best,” he told you. He didn’t look the least bit bothered by the fact that you wouldn’t be joining him. “Tina is only expecting me, and I have to leave first thing in the morning, she even sent a ticket for the boat-”

“How considerate,” you snapped, pulling your hand out of his roughly. Newt looked shocked at your sudden action.

“This is a great opportunity, Y/N, don’t be mad at me,” he seethed, watching as you stood up to place your cup in the sink. You stood with your back to him when you began to speak again.

“I don’t understand how you can think I would be okay with you leaving me behind!” You said, voice shaking from anger. “I work with you and the creatures, Newt, this is my life! And suddenly you want to leave me behind?”

“You know that’s not true,” he protested, rising from his seat. “But I don’t always need you to be there; the creatures and I will be fine for a few weeks in New York without you!”

“I’m glad to hear that you don’t need me,” you stated, turning to face him with glassy eyes. He couldn’t feel any kind of remorse for bringing you to tears; there had once been a time where he would have been a mess at the sight of you crying.

“What do you want me to say? I’m perfectly capable of doing things without you! I’m getting the Bowtruckles and coming back here to you, Y/N.”

“Don’t you dare try to convince me that I’m not the one who has your heart anymore!” You yelled, voice cracking. Newt jumped, his jaw dropping slightly as his heart began to feel heavy. “You’re in love with someone else, Newt. She’s in New York, and I’m not her.”

“Y/N,” he sniffled, stepping towards you, his hand beginning to stretch out to you. You merely shook your head and stepped back.

“Go to New York, Newt,” you whispered, wiping at your eyes quickly before looking at him. He closed his eyes as he looked into your own, not able to handle the wall he could see being put up in you. The wall that would be used to keep him out, to push him away.

“I’m just confused, you know I love you-”

“If you really loved me, you wouldn’t have fallen for her,” you declared. “You are a pathetic excuse of a man, Newt Scamander.”

Newt sat across from Queenie in the kitchen of the apartment. Tina was at work, leaving the magizoologist alone with her sister.

“I don’t mean to pry,” Queenie began as she stirred her steaming coffee. “There are just some things that I can’t help but hear-”

“Please don’t read my mind,” he pleaded quietly in a hoarse voice.

Newt had returned to New York without you after making you promise to wait for him in London. He hadn’t realized how different life would be without you, though. There was more to do in the case. There was no one there to fix his hair after a night of falling asleep at his desk, but then again, there was no one there to make sure that he didn’t fall asleep at his desk.

“Your thoughts are kinda loud right now,” Queenie stated, looking down at her cup with a frown. “I just want to know what your intentions with my sister are.”

“I can assure you that my intentions are strictly platonic,” he rushed out nervously.

“Y/N didn’t seem to think so, did she?” Queenie inquired, her eyes flashing up to meet his with a hint of suspicion. She had always liked you and had admired your relationship with Newt; it hurt her to know that her sister was the reason you and Newt were fighting.

“You know what Y/N thought,” he snapped, beginning to feel upset. “She and I are going to work things out when I return to London, though. Everything will be okay for us.”

“Mr. Scamander, I know what happened between you and Tina,” Queenie sighed sadly. Newt’s leg hit the bottom of the table and he winced.

“It was a mistake,” he attempted to reassure her.

“Tina doesn’t think so. She doesn’t even know that you’re still with Y/N.”

“Well, I am still with Y/N,” he insisted, despite not knowing where your relationship stood.

It wouldn’t be until he returned to London that he found out.

“Let’s talk,” you stated as Newt entered the kitchen the morning after he returned from New York. You clutched a letter behind your back as you stood in front of the sink, watching as he stumbled wearily into a seat at the table.

“Would you like to start?” He questioned lowly, looking up at you as he played nervously with the sleeve of his shirt.

“Okay,” you breathed out, grasping tightly onto the letter. “How was New York?”

“It was fine,” he told you. “The new Bowtruckles are in the case and seem to like the others.”

“Did you see Jacob?”

“Yes, he and Queenie are getting very well acquainted again, I believe there will be a wedding soon,” he said with a small smile. “I always thought it would be us getting married first.”

“I… I don’t see a wedding in our future,” you whispered slowly, closing your eyes so you couldn’t watch the hurt fill his face.

“W-What?” He choked out, finding it hard to breathe as the weight of your words came crashing down over him. A tidal wave of what could have been. “Y/N, please don’t say that-”

“Tina sent me a letter,” you interrupted him, shakily holding the letter in front of your trembling body. You opened your eyes and found Newt shaking his head slightly, eyes filled with tears. “She wanted to make sure I was alright, you know, since we apparently we aren’t together anymore. She wanted to say sorry for her new relationship with you-”

“Give me that!” He exclaimed, jumping up from the table and bounding over to rip the letter from your hands.

“Step away from me right now,” you growled out, putting the letter behind your back. He began to speak before you cut him off. “I don’t want to hear what you have to say, this letter made it very clear that our relationship is done. I have my things packed, I should go.”

“No, Y/N, please,” he begged, falling to his knees and grabbing ahold of your legs as he cried. His head rested on your stomach, your shirt began to dampen from his tears as you attempted to pull away.

“Let go of me, Newt,” you demanded, pushing at his shoulders. He shook his head, looking up at you as he continued to cry.

“Stay, Y/N, please-”

“Let me go-”

“No, not until you-”

There was a loud slap, his head reeling to the side from the force of your hand against his cheek. His crying went silent as your hand stung, and finally, his arms dropped from your legs. You could tell that you had shook him down to his core, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to care as you left the kitchen to gather your bags.

“Goodbye, Newt.”

A/N: Definitely thinking about a part two for a reunion at a little wedding in New York. Let me know what you guys think.

Perfect: Live with Kelly

“So Jensen, is it true that you and your wife have been friends for your entire life?” Kelly asked me. I couldn’t help but smile at the thought of her. I knew Y/N and Sam were backstage watching from behind the scenes. They had made the trip to New York with me so they could be here with me. Y/N knew just how excited I was to be on the show.

“Yes, my wife and I have been best friends for as long as we both can remember. We grew up together, we’ve been through everything together and we’re still going through everything together,” I told them.

“And you guys have a daughter together, correct me if I’m wrong?”

“Yes, we do. Our daughter Sam who just turned four,” I nodded.

“And you just recently announced that you have a son on the way,” She added in. “Congratulations!”

“Yeah we do! Thank you! Y/N is excited to have a son. I’m thankful more than anything. Having one daughter is enough for me. I already have to protect her from the kids in her class. That’s right Connor, I’m talking about you,” I joked.

“Already? She is adorable, Jensen! I have to say.”

“She definitely got her looks from my wife so I can understand. I was eyeing her back then too. It’s actually kind of scary how much they are alike and they use it against me as much as possible. It was bad enough before when it was just Y/N,” I let out a laugh. God, I could remember Y/N and I as kids. Play fighting and watching movies together. Not that she and I didn’t do that now, but back then, I remember trying to impress her. She was mine now and all I had to worry about was making sure she was happy and she was. She told me every single day that she loves the life we live together and the way we live. God, I was so luck I landed someone as fantastic as her.
