new wednesday

dropping penny;

sadly, these kind of things happen to us all and it’s come to the point where I’ve got a new muse that’s much stronger than penny. i’ve struggled a lot with her and i always have done playing female muses, so… i’ll be dropping penny ;-;

please don’t unfollow, though, because i’m reapplying with my new muse using this account!! (so I don’t have to refollow the huge masterlist)

if you’d like to plot with my new muse before wednesday, i’d love to! i’ll be swapping everything over very soon, but catch me on aim and we can chat ^^

i’ll be messaging those of you with active plots with penny rn too, to plot afresh or whatever step you want to take next~~ thank you!!

Today’s the one year anniversary of Rejected Princesses. Thanks to all of you for being here for it.

Now’s a good time to catch up on all 53 entries before I start adding new ones again next Wednesday.

New Comics Wednesday!

The long wait is finally  over. The Complete Eightball 1-18 by Daniel Clowes is in stores now!

Praise for The Complete Eightball 1-18:

“Daniel Clowes is…widely considered a one-man embodiment of nineties cool.” – The New Yorker

“With an acrid storytelling voice and a clean, spare drawing style, Mr. Clowes used Eightball… to skewer pop culture, spin surrealistic horrors and sympathetically portray youth adrift.” – The New York Times

“A comic book that eviscerated the medium.” – Publisher’s Weekly Best Books of Summer 2015

“A better-than-perfect facsimile of an iconic comic book.” – Boing Boing

“Clowes’s comics work is as vital as it’s ever been.”– Vulture

“Eightball, the stunningly smart and innovative comic that did what almost no other comic seemed able to do at the time: enter the culture of people who didn’t like comics. ”– The Stranger
