neutral cat eye makeup

Valentine’s Tutorial-

1. Prime the eye.

2. Apply a piece of tape as shown to create a crisp line. If you prefer a softer look, skip this step. Using a fluffy blending brush, sweep a gray shadow into the crease, focusing on the outer corner.

3. With a flat brush, pack on a pink champagne onto the outer 2/3 of the lid. If you have a warmer skin tone, a gold would complement nicely!

4. Highlight the inner corner of the eye with a shade or two lighter than your skin color.

5. Create a ‘V’ shape on the outer area of the eye along the lashline and into the crease with a matte black shadow. Blend away any harsh lines.

6. Peel away the tape to reveal your sharp cat eye. Follow that line down into the lower lashline with an angled liner brush.

7. Curl the lashes, apply mascara and false lashes if you choose.

8. Done!

My makeup for today. This look was inspired by one of my favey tumblr-ers noisedecayzero (also goes by zeromushi on here ) . I took inspiration from a couple of her makeup photos and the lovely piercings she has on her face. I think she is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and her makeup is always lovely and flawless. I really hope I did her justice because she is too amazing! I used the naked 3 palette from urban decay, 2 shadows from my sigma creme de couture palette, and a light wash of a red eyeshadow from sugarpill; I used maybelline and a naked lip gloss for the lips.
