network email

Supergirl’s executive producer, Greg Berlanti, on the overwhelming positive response to the “Supergirl” storyline addressing Alex’s long-closeted sexuality:

Those were very effective, emotionally rewarding for us. We’re definitely aware internally. The actresses, we emailed with them about it. The people at the studio and the network, we kind of emailed around about it. It’s a very rewarded part.

When we set off to do that, we didn’t know for sure how people would respond. It was something that we had always wanted to deal with with Alex’s character. We actually talked a little bit about it last year but didn’t feel like we had the real estate to do it justice. So it was one of the things we wanted to do this year.

Given the actresses, and their performance, and the writing of it, across the board, it’s been a really, really rewarding element and part of doing these shows for me right now… I’ve often said, I wish that I had had some of these kind of things when I was a kid. There were some dark hours for me when I was that age and a little older. It’s nice to be a part of that.

PSA- for ANYONE who has a WWE Network account

Recently mine and my boyfriend’s account got hacked. The kid who did this was from India and he changed our whole account in a matter of an hour to watch No Mercy.

We thankfully got our account back, thanks to the live chat support.

But you see it didn’t stop there. Tonight the same kid tried to do it again. We had changed our password. He LITERALLY emailed my boyfriend and ASKED for his password. The fuck yo?

So I got on our account tonight and see all these divas bra and panty matches on our watchlist. We sure as hell didn’t add these. But the people who hacked it did.

THEN I looked up, “(my boyfriend’s email) WWE account,” on Google. The sickening result I got back was his and MANY other’s emails and passwords were strung on the internet for people to find and use! I looked at when this was posted and it was posted in the beginning of August! So random fucks have been using our account without permission for over 2 months!

So I am URGING EVERYONE who HAS a WWE Network account to go to Google (or whatever search engine you use) and type in- “(your email) WWE account.”

And THEN if you see your account info on these websites please of course change your password and or email. These fucking low lifes obviously can’t get up off of their asses and get a job of their own to pay monthly for a subscription. What a sad world.

Also another thing you should just check is Google your email address in general, you might find that your email is being used else where without your permission or knowledge.

Hi~ I'm a fan of your blog and will miss all your recommendations! I live in Korea too and I was wondering if you had any tips for how you found work as an extra/casual tv or modeling jobs over here. Good luck in your future endeavors!!

Heya! Thank you! First I recommend to craigslist it up as a start. You’ll soon meet people and be able to network with them. I emailed my kakao around and asked them to contact me. Then I told them what I’m looking for and they hooked me up with the right people. Just meet people, reach out to them and tell them what you want. :) There’s a Facebook group called Non-Teaching Jobs in Korea and you’ll occasionally see some acting and modeling jobs pop up. And, this seems silly, but it works. Go out~ Go clubbing. You’ll be surprised how many people you meet at VIP booths and tables who are able to hook you up. Be nice! Be open! Kindness pays back in kindness. That’s all I got. Good luck!! :)

I scolded a well-meaning friend for posting that NYT article about how mean liberals are to Trump voters and drafted 1.5 networking emails, so today has been more productive than some days lately. Furthermore, it’s sunny and freakishly warm out. I think I’m going to violate my principles of personal economy and go buy a sandwich.

(I tend to prefer gloomy weather because I feel it understands me, but finding myself called to leave my room is probably useful right now.)

Anita Borg (1949-2003) was a computer scientist who dedicated her life and career to achieve progress for women in computing. She worked hard for greater representation of women in the field, striving for an environment where they could equally contribute and benefit from technology.

In 1987, she founded the first email network for women in technology, called Systers, which aimed at creating a space where women could communicate and share their ideas and experience. She also founded the Institute for Women and Technology, and the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, bringing together hundreds of female computer scientists.

Today was a good day I said good morning to a little girl watching her dad sweep the front porch I rescued a little boy’s lunchbox from the sidewalk and ran it over to his mom, I probably didn’t fail a quiz and I sent a Networking Email and updated my LinkedIn contacts and remembered to pack my lunch and a change of clothes for the Fancy Dinner tonight

……………they’re giving us wine.
