Dungeons & Dragons: Frost Giant’s Fury #3

Publisher: IDW Publishing
(W) Jim Zub (A) Netho Diaz, Glauber Matos, Neil Uyetake, Thiago Ribeiro (CA) Max Dunbar, Nelson Daniel, Ned Rogers

To discover the Frost Giants’ evil plans, our heroes must ascend the treacherous ice-covered mountain known as ‘Cold Crag’ and confront its guardian, a short-tempered white dragon eager to destroy any who dare invade her sanctuary. We don’t call it 'Dungeons & Dragons’ for nothing, y'know!
•   Dungeons & Dragons is seeing a renaissance with the release of the fifth edition rules in late 2014. Hundreds of thousands of players are returning to D&D or embarking on their first adventures and they’re hungry for extra content.
•   This new D&D story ties into the Storm King’s Thunder event that runs across multiple RPG products, novels, and video games.
•   This series continues with the cast from the hit Legends of Baldur’s Gate and Shadows of the Vampire stories, but is also built as a perfect jumping on point for new readers, bringing them into D&D’s classic blend of sword & sorcery adventure.

So, 2016 was a really weird year for me, because, let’s be real, it was a fucking nightmare. Except, for me, my career finally took off in a really big way…and so it was this weird combo of worst ever and best ever.

I also moved to Portland from NYC, which was huge. I’d wanted to leave after  NYC for a very long time and get back to the West Coast…so that was huge in so many ways.

Anyway, here’s my annual writing run down. I really wish I’d been able to finish Storykiller 2 and run the Kickstarter for it, but I’m optimistic about it for early 2017. And other than that failure, this year was a huge success as far as writing goes.

And that’s largely thanks to all of you. So thank you to all you amazing readers. I hope I made you happy (and also sometimes sad) and I hope I can continue to do that for you. I really appreciate all your support!
