I have a feeling,’ he said, ‘I have a feeling that we were meant to be together. That we have fought the good fight, side by side, in the past or in the future, I do not know. I am a rational man, but I have learned the value of a good companion, and from the moment I clapped eyes on you, I knew I trusted you as well as I do myself. Yes, I want you with me.
—  Neil Gaiman
I finally finished The Ocean at the End of the Lane.

It’s honestly the best book I’ve read in a long, long time. It’s the type of book that makes me want to read. It’s well written, fast paced, and whenever I was forced to come back to the “real world” I found myself lingering in the dream like atmosphere that Gaiman so eloquently creates throughout the novel. You can tell there’s a lot of Gaiman, himself in the book. You might find a piece of yourself in there too.
