Reminder

Don’t impulse buy fish. Don’t buy a fish before you have a tank ready, before you have supplies, or before you have a budget. A fish isn’t forcing itself on you, you need to learn how to step away from the animal at the store and say “I’m not prepared, I don’t have the funds, I don’t have a tank set up to allow for an easy and painless adjustment.”

Don’t impulse buy a fish, don’t impulse buy or adopt ANY animal.

Flowey Is Not a Good Life Coach - Chap. 2, page 4

Previous    |      Top    |      Next

EDIT: I realized the last few panels were unclear, and that’s my fault for poor choice of imagery. Those two panels are just showing Flowey’s roots and vines whipping back into the ground; he then pops up in the last panel in his small form again.

Boy Flowey just needs to step tf away from Papyrus. Like if he keeps going like this we might even be able to say that he isn’t being very nice. I dunno.

So I broke new ground making this page–I’ve never done action panels before. They’re an art unto themselves… I guess you just do a lot of motion lines and stuff? But there’s more to it than that. I want to incorporate a lot more action panels in future pages, so I guess I’ll have to do some research on that. It’s a learning experience.

The Return

Emma stood at the window of their house, staring out onto the street. Her heart was breaking by the moment, and she sniffled slightly, as she felt the pang of realization that maybe Killian wasn’t going to be coming home tonight. Maybe he had decided that he needed to leave her, for some stupid noble reason or the other.

Why couldn’t he see that she knew he wasn’t that man he had been all those years ago? Why couldn’t he see that she had forgiven who he was, and accepted him for who he was now? Why couldn’t he see that she loved him? That his bravery and unconditional love for her was all she needed? That she didn’t need him to be anything more than he already was?

She stepped away from the window, turning off the light as she walked back into the house, heart dropping. She hugged herself and a sob emerged from her chest, as tears began to flow down her face.

“I’m sorry,” she heard a voice echo through the hall, and she turned to see Killian standing there, soaking wet, and full of remorse, “I’m so sorry, Emma.”

“Why did you leave?” she asked, as he approached her, wiping away her tears as he looked into her eyes.

“I thought I needed to find myself. To be a man worthy of your affection,” he said softly, “I was going to leave with Nemo to give you some time while I worked hard to redeem myself.”

*Noise of FaceTime ringing*

You click accept and see Shawn standing in his kitchen. You place your phone against the toaster, standing in your kitchen too. Shawn was back home from tour and you had been at home for a month now. Whilst Shawn was away, you had sent him a photo of a meal you had made yourself. He made you promise to teach him how to make it once he was home.
“You’re gonna need to turn that music down Shawn,” you shouted so he could hear you, as if he was in the room with you. His head snapped in the direction of his phone. He lowered the music and smiled, “Hey baby.” You had the usual ‘how are you’ exchanges before he clapped his hands and said, “Let’s do this!”

“You know this is really easy right, and I don’t need to be doing this with you?” you laughed as you stepped away from the phone and made sure you had every set on the counter. “I know, but I thought it would be a cute little thing to do” Shawn confessed. “And we could see who is the better chef” he added with a smirk. “I knew it,” you sighed shaking your head.
“Do you have everything?” You asked, knowing exactly what Shawn was like when it came to remembering things. He nodded eagerly as he changed the song. “You got the chicken?” You asked, with which he replied with a nod and smile. “The bacon?” He nodded again, “Darling I bring home the bacon, remember?” You rolled your eyes, “It wasn’t funny the first time Shawn.” He shrugged his shoulders and backed away from the phone.
“I set the oven to 350 F degrees right?” Shawn asked, as he stood over the oven. “Yep,” you replied as you did the same. “Is it cold over there?” You asked as you reached up for the cupboard above to grab some foil. “Yeah, it’s snowing outside” Shawn said. “Really?” You said excitedly, looking at the phone. Shawn wandered over to the phone and leaned over, “(Y/N) you shouldn’t be excited about the snow. You should be excited about how great I look” he said as he brushed his hand through his hair. “Just look at my hair,” he said sarcastically, knowing that he hated it when it was too long. “Wash your hands before you continue,” you said with a cheeky smile.

You instructed Shawn throughout the cooking process, waiting for him when he panicked that he was behind yelling, “Wait wait.”
“Ok, is your bacon thick?” You asked, as you opened your packet of bacon. Shawn remained silent so you glanced over at the screen to see him close to the camera, with a smile on his face as he repeatedly raised his eyebrows. “Grow up,” you sighed, rolling your eyes. Shawn pushed himself off the counter, “Fine, it’s thin.” You let a little chuckle escape your mouth, “Sorry.”
You wrapped pieces of bacon round pieces of chicken, hearing Shawn panic over how the bacon would stay wrapped. “You don’t need toothpicks, it will stick. Trust me,” you said loudly.
“Ok, then you grab the bowl of brown sugar and roll the wrapped chicken around until it’s evenly coated” you said, doing just that.
“Now I’m gonna dress myself for two, once for me; and once for someone new” you heard Shawn sing at the top of his lungs. “Concentrate Shawn,” you snapped. Shawn stopped just as he was about to sing even louder, and wandered over closely to his phone. “I’m sorry, kiss?” he asked in a sweet voice. You frowned at the phone before giving in, and puffing your lips out like he was.

Both of you placed your wrapped chicken on the baking tray and placed them inside the ovens, and waited for 45 minutes. “You bored of being back home yet?” you asked, as you both sat on your kitchen floors opposite the ovens. Shawn nodded, “I miss performing so much. I gathered some of Aaliyahs’ old toys and set them out and performed to them.” You gave Shawn a weird look, “Did you really?” Shawn burst out laughing, shaking his head. “Of course not, I used my own toys.” You shook your head, but smiled because you had missed laughing with Shawn. “But I miss you,” he said softly. You smiled, “I’ve missed you too.” Throughout the waiting time, you’d smile whenever you caught Shawn looking past the camera at the oven, keeping a close eye on the food. Shawn would sing snippets of his songs, asking you which way you preferred when he changed the notes of words slightly.

Finally it was time to reveal the truth, and find out who was the best cook. “Mine look like little dog shits,” Shawn laughed, flipping the camera to reveal his burnt chicken bites. “Sprinkle the parsley,” you said as you admired your perfect cooking. “Now it looks like little dog shits covered in grass,” Shawn said. You glanced at the screen and did a double take, “I said sprinkle not pour!” “Oh well,” Shawn sighed, flipping the camera back on him. “Let’s see yours.” You showed him your perfectly cooked bites and heard him curse under his breath. “I guess that means you admit defeat,” you said smiling at him feeling smug. He frowned at the camera, “Never.”

Lena gets transferred

Yes I am going to be writing this but…imagine Kara going to visit Lena in jail and sees Lena with a black eye. That’s when Kara stays strong and tells Lena that she’ll get her out of there. Alex is waiting outside and just hugs Kara because she totally breaks down after Lena is gone. Next day SG goes to visit and Lena has a busted lip. That’s when Alex tells Hank they need to transfer Lena to the DEO because Kara is one step away from getting herself arrested. They do and Kara is leaned against the DEO cell when Lena wakes up with a pillow and blanket.

“I’m so so so sorry, Archie. I can’t do this anymore.” she glanced up at him. His eyes pleaded for her to stay but he stayed silent, not daring to miss a single second of her as she was.

“Y-You can’t split the twins up. They belong together.” Archie protested as he noticed his girlfriend take a step further away from him. “Amelia needs you. I need you. Hell, I probably wouldn’t be able to cope without you.”

(Y/N) shook her head, ignoring the internal conflict playing through her mind, cradling her daughter for one last time, before she said goodbye to Archie.

“I love you, Archie Andrews. Never forget that. You’re a good father, we’re both so young but you somehow managed us. You take care and take care of Amelia too. Make sure you remind her, her mum loves her.” (Y/N)’s accent was strong and filled with sadness. She didn’t want to leave but she knew it would be the best for her daughters. Her brother stood at the door, watching his sister try her hardest not to break down as she planted a final kiss on Amelia’s head. Aria in his arms, fidgeting around to catch a glimpse of her father, almost as if she knew of the events that were occurring.

“Let me say goodbye to Aria, please (Y/N), its all I ask.”

With a swift nod of her head, she watched as Archie strode over to her brother, tears filling her eyes again.

“Jug, please let me hold her.” Archie pleaded “It might be the last time.”

“Arch, she’ll be back before you know it.”

But he was wrong. She never came back and he never got to hold Aria again.

“Dad, why are you forcing me to do this?” Amelia groaned “You know I hate going to camp.”

“Because Melia, you barely leave the house. Camp is a chance to make friends.” Archie crouched down to be eye level with his daughter.

“I have friends, I have Jess and Charlie.” Amelia protested, causing her father to chuckle at her.

“Why couldn’t mum come with you to drop me off again?” Aria raised her eyebrow at her uncle.

“Because Aria, your mother needs to have this dress made for your auntie Josie’s launch party and shipped off to Riverdale in three days time.”

“You know, you and mum always talk about Riverdale and promise to take me,” Aria spoke as she watched her uncle unpack the car boot. “You both always say, you’ll take me when the time is right, but it seems like the time is never right.”

“Ari, your mum and I grew up in Riverdale and you were born there, but somethings happened and she still has a hard time coping with it.”

“Is it because my dad still lives there?”

“Come on, lets get you to one of the camp counsellors.” Jughead said, glancing down at his niece, not knowing whether (Y/N) would be okay with Aria knowing about her father in detail.

“She talked about him once, you know Uncle Juggy.” Aria noticed her uncle’s change in behaviour. “She told me that she believed he was the one that got away. You know, I think deep down she’ll always love my dad, but whatever he did to cause her to leave her home town must’ve been really bad.”

“Why are you exactly like your mother?” Jughead groaned “You could’ve at least taken after me, the better sibling.”

Aria let out a giggle at her uncle, she loved her uncle to great lengths. She grew up with his presence around. It was her, her mum and her Uncle Jughead. Ever since she could remember. Occasionally, her auntie Josie and auntie Betty would come over from Riverdale and talk about how he was coping. Her two aunties and her uncle were always careful about saying her father’s name around her. She knew she got her vibrant red hair from him. On her fifth birthday, her mother gave her half of a ripped picture of her father. Ever since then, it was her most valued object. On her mother’s birthday that same year, her auntie Veronica gave her mother a locket. Inside was a picture of her father and herself as a baby. Veronica uttered the words ‘so they’ll be right by your heart.’ to her as she put the necklace on (Y/N).

“See you in six weeks Amelia.” Archie smiled at his daughter. “You too, Charlie. Look after her.” He winked at Cheryl Blossom’s son.

“Don’t miss me too much, Ari.” Jughead teased her, nudging her slightly. “Remember to write to me and your mother. Your mother might have a meltdown if you don’t.”

“This is the longest I’ll be away from the both of you, uncle Jughead. I’ll most likely be the one to have a meltdown.”

“Welcome back, Melia!” Counsellor Carlie grinned at the young red head “You too, Charlie. Are you two ever apart?”

Amelia rolled her eyes at Carlie, making Carlie chuckle slightly.

“Hi, I’m Aria.” the girl greeted the people sharing a cabin with her.

“Don’t play with me, Amelia. That accent you have on? It’s terrible!” the unknown girl said, taking Aria by surprise.

“Sorry, do I know you?”

“Honestly, Melia, you can stop now.”

“Stop what?” Aria paused for a second before smirking “Wait, who’s Amelia?”

“Give it up Tara, maybe she isn’t playing.” the dark haired girl muttered. “Maybe that isn’t Amelia but some girl who freakily looks identical to her.”

“Okay, if she doesn’t know the answer to this question then I’ll believe her.” Tara grinned, a hint of mischief flashing through her eyes.

“Who’s the cutest boy in Riverdale?”

Aria eye’s opened in shock. “Wait, you guys are from Riverdale?”

“She’s definitely not Amelia. Her hair is long. Plus I was with Amelia, like, two seconds ago.” a voice piped up from the cabin doors. “I’m Jessica, it’s nice to meet you,”

“Oh, I’m Aria, good to meet you, Jessica. So, who’s Amelia?”

A Friend's Advice

Request: Can you do one where Wally gives Conner advice for flirting with girls, only to find later out he used that advice to get a date with Wally’s sister?

The moment Conner called Nightwing to ask him what he meant to all these weeks was catastrophic. He didn’t have the time to spell out the whole ‘i need advice on flirting with girls and you seem to be the only one who is actually able to help me’ as Wally bursted into the room and swooned him away. Leaving Dick speechless.

“I’ll teach you how to flirt with girls!” Wally smirked and pointed at himself with his thumbs.
Conner shook his head at the thought and pushed him out of his way.

“Step away. I need actual advice.” He growled.

Wally looked around with a fake offended look. “I’m the best!” He said through pursed lips with several nods. “Just listen to me dude. If you don’t like what I’m about to say then go ask Nightwing.” He added, this time in a much serious tone.

Conner gulped, sighed, rolled his eyes and finally forced an ‘okay’ out of his mouth.
“So… ” Wally awkwardly started “what kind of advice you need?”

“I need to know how to flirt with a girl! I’ve been trying to approach her a long tome now, but I can’t seem to do so.” Conner admitted, a hint of blush staining his cheeks.

“Ah I got this man. So to start off, chicks love it when you tilt your head upwards to greet them.” Wally smirked and demonstrated the small greeting movement.

Conner immediately started mimicking him many more times than he had planned. Wally chuckled and patted his shoulder while he tried to show him the right way to do it.
At his first success Wally clapped his hands and smiled at him, as if Conner was a baby that took his first step ever.

“Okay, next thing you need to do is that you have to initiate a small conversation. You have to flatter her. For example I create puns, but you…” Wally chewed on his lips as the sight of Conner. He seemed serious, nit the kind if guy who’d make fun with puns and stuff.

For the rest if the evening he tried his best to make Conner an expert in flirting girls. He eventually tried to get him familiar with pick up lines and puns, though he advised Conner that they might not work on his first try. Conner would occasionally nod and try to take in most of the things Wally was saying.
For all he knew, he was the twin brother of the girl he wanted to date. He daren’t say a word though. It was the first time he was afraid of the speedster. Mostly because he knew the depths he’d go to protect his twin sister.

___

Wally’s eyes almost popped out at the sight before him. He couldn’t believe what unraveled before his very eyes.

His dear sister was sitting inside McDonald’s with Conner out of all people, laughing amd blushing while she tried to eat her burger.
He felt anger boiling inside him. The was no doubt Conner was using his advice on his sister.

Wally was ready to burst into the store, dragging a dumbfounded Artemis along with him, but he stopped on his dead trucks when she tugged on his jacket.

“ Wally, baby, they’re obviously enjoying themselves. Dont break it.”

Wally blinked his green eyes into her gray ones with hidden anger. He knew she was sure, and it thats what irritated him the most.
He looked at his sister and Conner again, who seemed to be in the own little world. Artemis was right. He wouldn’t like Jade to spoil his fun with Artemis neither. So why would his sister feel good about it.

Artemis placed a kiss in his cheek and proceeded to share her thoughts.

“You can invite them for a movie night though. So we can see if they’ll work huh?”

Wally smiled back at his blonde angel and shrugged it off. He only care that his sister was happy and that his advice had helped his friend.

They say they hate it, but I think they love it.

Going off the grid this week.

I am taking a break for the week. Everything is fine, I just need to step away from my screen and read a book, color some mandalas, play with my dog, clean my house…all that real life stuff. Take care, and I will see you soon! XOXO
