GM: Unrest spread through your kingdom, and the citizen needs a hope to hold on to. Some suggest killing humans to collect their souls. Asgore: I persuade them otherwise
Asgore rolls 1
GM: …well, they misunderstood you and issue an royal decree to attack any human on sight. Asgore: what
GM: Your wife is still unstable from grief, and when she finds out about this she snapped. You find her standing on the doorway, caressing a knife. Asgore: Sounds like trouble. I run away. No, I retreated to lose the battle but win the war
Asgore rolls 4
GM: Yep, that’s a fail. You tried to run away, but your body won’t move. You’re too scared to move. When your eyes meet hers, your legs gave away. You feel on your butt. Usually she will joke about your silly gesture, but she just smiled coldly. She said something about atoning your sins with pain and approach you. She grabbed your ears and-
i completely understand dean right now because the poor boy just lost two of the most important people in his life!! of course he’s gonna be angry at people!! of course he’s gonna hate jack for a little while!! he’s grieving!! dont get mad @ him you hear!!
I see a lot of people saying that they don’t like Ashley because she’s racist and all. And honestly even my first impression was negative. C'mon, in me1 she literally says that she can’t see the difference between aliens and animals. And, taking only this sentence into consideration, this IS racist.
But. Consider how all her family had grown her up. Since we was little she was taught that aliens were enemies. Her family literally had struggled to remain alive because of them. And. She never worked with any of them, she just acts how she thinks she should, how her parents had told her. And also. At same point you can clearly see that she doesn’t really think that anymore.
Just think about Liara. As soon as she arrives on the Normandy, Ashley says that she doesn’t trust her and she makes jokes on her. But. After Noveria, she is WORRIED about Liara, for what happened with Benezia and tells Shepard to go talking with her.
And just think about me2 and me3. She changes so much. She trusts Shepard and she learns to trust all the crew, even if they’re aliens. She cares about them, and she would kick ass for them, because they’re her friends. THIS IS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT y'all
You never forget the time you REALLY just fell in love with a character.
As always it takes me a bit to adjust to new characters and decide how I feel about them. Overhaul was no exception.
I have recently got back into bnha (I have been a fan since the beginning but stopped reading at chapter 100 for awhile) so I was mainly reading to catch up.
So as you can imagine I was just flying through these chapters. Not much grabbed my attention. Even when he blew up a guy. So it clearly would take a lot for me to really pay attention instead of reading to just catch up.
Then THIS chapter happened. It went to happy go lucky to…HOLY. FUCK. One breath and you’re dead.
Specifically it was these panels that right then and there that this character was worth my attention. This was such an interesting, dark, and mysterious character. And I was in love.
From then on I was strapped back onto the BNHA train and fell crazily in love with the story. Specifically, Overhaul and his Yakuza gang.
ASRA ALL THE WAAAAY (honestly the poor guyy lost his best friend AND his lover man, he may not be perfectly innocent but this treatment is honestly unfair. Plus it's only been like 6 chapters, it's almost like the Dammek situation in Hiveswap honestly, but sorry you have to deal with all those... people)
in this house we love and respect asra arcanagame!!
Tonight marks the deadliest shooting in US history. In Las Vegas 50+ lives have been lost and 200+ have been injured all by one man. It’s only been 16 months since the last official deadliest shooting in US history.. something needs to change..
Only took however long it took for Beth to murder Froopyland for Rick to regrow his arm. At this point however much of Rick is organic or cybernetic are irrelevant. It will always keep changing as time passes.
What does beg to question is this:
Question: you take a broom, you replace the handle, and then later you replace the brush. And you do that, over and over again. Is it still the same broom? Answer: no, of course it isn’t, but you can still sweep the floor.
You have replaced every piece of yourself, mechanical and organic, time and time again. There’s not a trace of the original you left.
