On Starting Law School & Elle Woods

In Legally Blonde, Elle says the famous words, “what, like it’s hard?”

It’s become some sort of a mantra for female students applying to and starting law school. As kickass as this moment was in the movie, however, there’s something very important to note here.

She says these words in reference to getting into law school, not actually attending law school, which, as you recall, she immediately struggles with.

Getting into law school is deceptively simple. There are no prerequisites. Elle’s undergrad had nothing to do with law, or anything even in the humanities. Her focus was in fashion.

All it takes to get into a law school is to have gone through undergrad and to have taken the LSAT. There is no “passing” score on the LSAT, and you will be able to find a law school that accepts you somewhere in the USA if you have taken it at all. It won’t be a good law school, but it will be a law school.

Getting into a good law school, like Harvard, requires a good GPA and LSAT score. If you have a 3.9 GPA and 175+ LSAT, you’re almost guaranteed to get into Harvard Law.

I will not downplay what an impressive feat this is, but you still need to realize that both a high undergrad GPA and a high LSAT score are things that to some, come easily. We all know those kids in college who got straight A’s without trying, and kids who did well on standardized tests (like the SAT) without really trying.

Elle had a 4.0 GPA (so yes, she’s smart), and yes she struggled with increasing her LSAT practice score but she still got a 179 (a score I actually never heard of in real life) on the first try. Meaning, she’s a great test taker

This has very little to do with how one feels while in law school.

At most law schools, you do not have any exams until the finals. Instead you are expected to only keep taking in information, without being tested on them in any formal manner, and you need to do this in ridiculous volume and speed. You need to be reading cases for 4, 5 classes that all meet nearly everyday, and retaining all this information. It’s not easy. It’s not designed to be easy.

The film made this as clear as it could. Elle’s struggles with getting into Harvard were not even half the battle. It was a cute, fun montage of her studying for the LSAT and putting together a video essay. Once law school starts, she initially crashes and burns, in more ways than one. And then she realizes she really needs to get her shit together.

It can be very discouraging for these hopeful Elle Woodses to start law school and then realize how difficult it is in comparison to everything they’ve done before. But it’s important to remember that their heroine, Elle Woods, struggled, too. You can do it. You can get through it. Just remember:

Why good/long fics are rarely updated?

Every once in a while I get that question or see that question appear in review section of fics I read/comment. So, in case someone wonders I want to give just a few pointers.

  • The first one is simple - the authors have real life that usually comes first (I say usually, because on rare occasion you neglect everything because it’s one of that days/nights when the story just flows and you need to write it asap, because otherwise you will miss the moment). When you have a full time job and some non-fandom usual RL stuff to take care of, you might just not have enough time to write - it has nothing to do with the lack of ideas. Currently I have at least a dozen or so ideas for new fics (they multiply) - and I simply have no time to write them (give me a Time-Turner of Flash’s speed then I’ll have it done in no time). Then again - the fact that most of us works in front of the computer screen causes that sometimes we have no wish to spend some more hours on typing; that usually leaves weekends for writing - not that much time.
  • The betas also have real life and need to have time to check the story. Their work is pratically invisible (when done efficiently), but they greatly contribute to deliver the best product possible. I consider a fic to be a product of sorts - the fact that it’s “only fan fiction” doesn’t mean for me that it can be done poorly. So kudos for all betas! They also deserve some credit.
  • Writing a long, multichapter fic (and by long I mean at least 50k words) is different than writing a ficlet - in needs careful planning and keeping hold on many threads - main plot, subplots, often multiple POVs. What’s more concious writing is not just writing whatever comes to your mind - it’s getting your characters to a specyfic place or/and putting them into a specyfic situation in a logical, believable way. Often it means correcting or fleshing out something that canon itself neglected - that’s why AUs and fix-it fics are so popular. The fact that the author doesn’t update a story every week doesn’t mean that they don’t think about it, don’t plan in their head what should happen next, don’t write bits that will take place far in the future… or even in the sequel! There might be a lot of blank spots to fill in, but the authors have the bigger picture in their head when they start to write a story.
  • Reading 5k or even 10k words chapter doesn’t take long; writing a short comment takes a couple of minutes - but writing chapter of that length takes literally days.
  • Posting comments consiting only of “update more” or “update soon” doesn’t help.
  • Not posting any comments doesn’t help either.
  • Active authors might have many stories opened at once - that’s why it’s worth to keep a track on their ff.net/AO3 profile.
  • And who said that when it comes to fandom activities the authors are only writing? ;) They might be also fanart artists or gifset makers. Or simply be also the readers who comment on the works of others - because they’re well aware how much time and effort it takes to write a story.
Bank Robbery Does Not Count as Date Night

Someone needs to write a coldflash fic where Len robs a bank… with Barry there.

Barry, not the Flash. Barry just in line for a teller and Len knew he would be there and friggen planned it that way so he could grab Barry as a hostage and keep him in everyone’s line of sight so he couldn’t speed away and come back as the Flash.

And Barry just getting… progressively more annoyed. Not worried in the slightest but the Rogues are there and he can’t believe Len planned this. Just like hissing “for real?” under his breath and Len having the time of his life like “play along now, barry” and keeping the cold gun pointed at Barry. Barry just wants to throttle him and did not want to end up on the CCPN’s live footage as Captain Cold’s hostage (Iris is trying so hard to keep a straight face when she sees this).

Bonus points if it’s established relationship and Len is literally kidnapping his boyfriend and Barry is thinking of all the ways he’s going to get Len back for this, later.

And Len making a point that this is the hostage they have to take with them and Len will take care of dropping him off and the rest of the Rogues can take the goods when they separate, they’ll meet up later. The Rogues being confident Len is going to terrify or murder this doe-eyed bystander.

Len convincing Barry to play along as they devolve into a semi-roleplay of Barry as the kidnapped victim having sex with Len to ‘earn his freedom’ and neither of them expected it to go there but they’re both pretty sure they just discovered a new kink or three

HOW TO SURVIVE THE EXAMS

PRE-PREPARATION

  • START WORK EARLY. to avoid last minute panic moments the night before the exam with you screaming at the prospect of failing, start revision early, as early as a month or two before. Even if you really don’t feel in the mood to do exam revision, ensure all your notes are completed so that when you’re ready to start work, you’ve already got all your materials ready and you ready to DO IT
  • MAKE A TIMETABLE. If you’ve already got your exam schedule, plan out your study schedule and decide when, and for how long you’ll study on each subject. That’s so you’ll know exactly how much time you’ve got to study for each subject. This way, you don’t end up not having enough time for a certain subject.

HEALTH

  • SLEEP TRACKER. We all want to stay up to finish that last stack of notes but sleep is crucial so that you have enough energy the next day to listen to lessons and do more work productively. A lack of sleep could really bring down performance levels and you’ll realise that more sleep would do you more good. Track your sleep to keep yourself in check on hours slept.
  • WATER TRACKER. Stay healthy! Drinking water would ensure you don’t fall sick during these crucial weeks. Water during periods of times you’re feeling tired while studying is also a healthy way of waking you help (because you don’t really want to consume that much coffee do you)
  • SLEEP EARLY, WAKE UP EARLIER. Don’t burn the midnight oil trying to finish whatever you’re supposed to be doing - you’ll seriously mess up your sleep schedule. Instead, try sleeping earlier and waking up the next morning an hour or two earlier. This increases your rate of productivity since you’ll feel more refreshed and awake in the morning instead  of like a zombie in the dead of night.
  • NAPS. Even if you feel like you have a lot of things you need to complete, a short 20 minute power nap would help re-energize you and really help to speed up your productivity rate.Try not to sleep for too long as you may not feel as energized.
  • STRESS RELIEF. Stress is good to motivate you sometimes but too much stress is always bad for your body and may even cause you to blank out during exams. Read our other post x for stress relief methods.

FOCUS

  • ONLINE APPS. Apps like FocusNow and Forest are great for ensuring that you don’t touch your phone while you’re studying.
  • STUDYING WITH A FRIEND. Studying with a friend, whether it be in real life or through Skype and such, helps to motivate both of you to study, keeps both of you in check and allows you to do things like testing each other or asking each other questions easily. However, make sure that the friend you are studying with is intent on focusing too so that you don’t end up being very distracted instead and getting no work done.
  • STUDYING ALONE OUTSIDE. Strangers possibly noticing what you are doing could pressurise you to study instead of slack.

NOTES MAKING

  • IT’S REVISION NOTES, NOT MEMORISATION NOTES. While a last minute refresh of what you’ve already learnt is good, overloading your brain with new content at the very last minute isn’t the way to go around doing your exams.
  • MINDMAPS. Can be very helpful for those more inclined towards visual learning.
  • FLASHCARDS.
  • ONLINE APPS. These are very handy for easy and convenient revision . Quizlet is a great way to study things like formulas or words.
  • UNDERSTAND THE INFORMATION BEFORE WRITING DOWN. Fully digest what your text is about before rephrasing it into your own way instead of copying and pasting the important chunks
  • COLOURS. Use different colours to differentiate different portions of your notes (e.g. POS VS NEG). However, please don’t go nuts on the colours because everything would just be really confusing

good luck and all the best for everyone with exams coming up! exams really suck but they’ll all be over soon!

CRISSCOLFER:
There are few moments I saw them not only as Kurt and Blaine but mostly as Chris and Darren. It’s just small part of what I could say but hopefuly it’s enough to prove something.

  • Chris’ face when Darren embraces him. He looks so relaxed and at ease and happy. Both of them do.
  • Jelaous and possesive. Darren is in character but you can see in his eyes he really feels it. He imagines Adam to be someone we know but don’t really like ;) It’s possesive Darren. Chris is his, not Will’s, not PR’s. DARREN’S. So back off.
  • Pushing Darren down on the couch and climbing on him. And the smile. I bet they do this at home. Dominant much, aren’t you, Christopher?
  • The boys in sync. It happened last week, it happened during filming 4x04, it happens now. Do I have to remind you that amazing post about people being unconsciously in sync?
  • The making up scene. The things they were saying, their expressions, it speaks for itself:
  • When Darren goes to sit next to Chris, he’s scared. On the surface it’s the character but he knows they will have to have a conversation like that (about PR) with Chris. Or maybe they’ve had this conversation already…
  • Darren is older, supposedly smarter and he tries to explain everything as good as he can. He’s calming Chris with his voice and eyes.
  • “We just wanted to be us. Together.” The real fear appears. Darren is scared Chris may want to give up. But please, this guy won Golden Globe at the age of 20. There’s no way he’ll give up something he cares about.
  • Chris gives up to his emotions. He needs Darren to hold him, to tell him everything will be okay.
  • “Protecting something that is very prcious to me” I don’t know if RIB did it on purpose like the Darren Aronofsky & Christopher Nolan thing or accidentaly. But Chris can relate to it. Darren is important to him. Their relationship is too. He wants to protect them, their private life, protect Darren. I think Darren wants to come out but he’s scared of the reactions, he still doesn’t believe in himself as much as he should. Chris knows how it is to be out and he doesn’t want to make his lover go through it if he isn’t ready… But he needs him to know that he’s (one of) the most important person in his life and he doesn’t want to give it up.
  • The brief contact after a hug when Darren puts is hand on Chris’ neck. No way in hell it was scripted. He offers his support. He would totally hold Chris longer but, you know, work.
  • The kiss. The slightly open mouth, one hand, then another. Darren needs to make sure Chris isn’t going anywhere, he needs to touch him to know this is real.
  • The neck thing. It’s not the first time Darren’s face has close contact with Chris’ neck (3x05 and 3x19 for example). Is that a kink? Darren found THE spot during one of their sleepovers and now uses it. That’s a freaking foreplay. He knows that in a few they’ll be done with recording and they’ll can go and fool around in one of their trailers. Or maybe speed home and scare Brian for life ;) And here is Chris with dilated pupils and out of breath. It happened. We know it, they now it, Will and Mia don’t ;)
  • Just the fact that W was in the episode. Chris is one of the most professional people I know. He keeps his private and professional life apart. Do you think he would get his “boyfriend” a job at the same work place he is employed? That’s ridiculous.

I don’t believe in Chill. I think Miarren is a joke. Bad joke.

I only believe in CrissColfer and I have my own reasons to.

nonnie requested: I’m not sure if you write for Julian or not so if not, feel free to use Barry instead. Anywho, an imagine where Reader is a medical temp they bring in to help out since Caitlin went all Killer Frost. And quickly Julian(or Barry) realizes he’s very attracted to the reader? Thanks in advance!

A/N: I decided to take a turn to this as I’m not just going to try writing Julian but also I decided to make them both attracted to reader for a little bit of drama. I can’t wait to find out who Savitar is tonight on the Flash, anyone else excited? But anyway, I hope you enjoy this drabble, unsure yet if I would make this a series. Apologizes for any medical mistakes as I’m not very well versed in the medical field since it kind of makes me light headed especially with the blood and such. Tell me if you guys think I should write more Julian or not. I don’t know if I did him justice here. And now my requests are empty, send more! Ships are closed for the time being and as always requests are open unless stated otherwise by me!

» Relationship(s): Julian Albert & Reader (crush), Barry Allen & Reader (crush) «

You were an average person whom was studying in the medical when Joe asked for your help, why you ask? Well Joe and your father were pretty close until your father retired early from an unfortunate accident that made him not so active in the crime field where he loved to be in. He remembered that you were studying in for your doctorate and was close to completing it, so he felt like you could get the job done and that to keep a secret of Barry being The Flash. Which where you were doing right now as your heels clicked from the hard floor from following Joe, why were you so nervous about this, well you weren’t used to metas. They weren’t in your studies but hopefully you could pick up pretty quickly since the incident that made you the medical person for Team Flash. The dark skinned man put his hand on your shoulder and clearing his throat to capture everyone’s attention towards you and him. “Everyone, I’d like you to meet Y/N L/N, soon to be doctor but she’ll be our medic as a placeholder due to you know. Y/N, this is Team Flash. Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon, Julian Albert, H.R, Iris and Wally but you already know them.” Joe says while he pointed to each person to their corresponding name.

You did a small wave as you shook hands with everyone, boy was this not only nerve wrecking but kind of cool that you got to help out an actual real life superhero. You were already bit of a fan of the scarlet clad speedster and seemed to be friendlier than Caitlin was. You and Cisco, plus H.R. became fast and easy friends with your similar interests. You were actually a fast learner about Barry’s speeding habits and his meta abilities so you began learning what to do with him when he needed medical attention. Julian also enjoyed your company as well, understanding what he was talking about and laughing about how much he looked like Tom Felton, the man whom played Draco from Harry Potter.

“Easy Barry, I know you heal fast but you really sprained your ankle badly.” You say as you pulled out your things while he winced slightly before laying down so you could help put ice on it before wrapping a bandage around to keep it in place. Barry was trying his best to hold his wincing down as you looked up worriedly as you moved over with your rolling chair. “You okay big shot?” You ask with your nickname as Barry chuckled at it, you always gave people nicknames no matter where you went.

“Yeah, I-I’ll be fine. Thanks Y/N, seriously I don’t know what we’d do without you since the incident.” He says as you smiled before rolling to check on Julian’s wound since he got caught up with the attacker and Barry. You telling Julian nearly the same thing but he wasn’t as bad wounded like Bar was, thank goodness.

“Thank you Dr. Y/N. We really appreciate your help at times like these moments, I hope it’s not too much trouble for you.” Julian was always more formal towards you then Barry was, you did finally graduate from your school a few weeks ago after you met Team Flash. You remember since they were all there when you accepted your doctorate.

“There! My two boys are now fixed up, but you two better be gentle with your injuries. I mean it this time, I don’t want anything bad to happen to you guys. I care about you and your well-being.” You say as you took off your gloves and went over to talk to Cisco whom needed you for something on his side of the room.

Barry and Julian may not realized it quite yet about each other, but they both had fallen in love with you. You were a caring person and quick witted with your words, not to mention your smile. They both were smitten by you but whom would say their feelings first and get to have you as their own?

The signs as decisions my parents made

Aries: Give each child their own hatchet in their christmas stocking

Taurus: Teach the children to make their own wine in the basement in big plastic buckets from home hardware

Gemini: Call 2 out of 3 kids by their middle names,  give one kid four names for no reason

Cancer: At 13, tell each kid it’s okay to drop acid and if they want to try it, you will procure it so they can try it safely at home

Leo: Present your eight year old with her own rifle as a birthday present

Virgo: Get into a fist fight with a homeless man on the way to lunch

Libra: After announcing your decade-long affair, immediately take all three children to a monster truck rally so you don’t have to talk about the upcoming separation

Scorpio:  “We’ll pay for driving lessons just in case you ever wind up in the movie Speed. You need to be able to drive that bus.”

Sagittarius:  Not tell the third her actual first name until much later in life and see this as totally normal

Capricorn: Dress one child real slutty in hopes she gets pregnant as a teen bc you love babies so much

Aquarius: Pay your child $10 for getting in a fist fight

Pisces: Teach your child to swim by tossing them head first into three meter waves with high undertow during a major storm

Per Manum (2/3)

“Who’s that? In Agent Scully’s car.”
“That I don’t know, Agent Doggett.”

He has had just about enough of this.

He’s not an idiot; he can put two and two together. She tells him Parenti’s her doctor, and she expects him to believe she just happened to run out of the office, first thing in the morning, because she, what, had an appointment she forgot about? And neglected to mention? No, either she’s lying about not investigating the Haskells, or she’s got more than a passing personal connection to this case.

And now he’s supposed to take this unscheduled leave of absence at face value? No way.

Molly Hooper

Just hanging out with my favourite chap 🙂

16hrs ago · Like · Comment

The consulting detective didn’t know what was worse; the fact that the event had even taken place or that his brother hadn’t even tried to hide it. Sherlock had paused searching through his brother’s files to stare at the screen, Molly Hooper’s Facebook page open and displaying a picture of the petite pathologist cosying up to Mycroft, the fat smug git concealing a grin behind his large collar. When he realised the page had caught Sherlock’s attention, Mycroft looked up from his phone, an eyebrow lifted.

“Problem?”

Oh, good. The pompous sod was mocking him. The bastard had opened the page deliberately, challenging Sherlock to question their ‘hanging out’. Sherlock refused to give him any satisfaction and merely shrugged, returning to his rifling, albeit with slightly more force. The last straw came with the continuous buzzing of Mycroft’s phone and an unrestrained giggle from the British Government. He seized the document and stormed out of the cramped office space without another word.

Favourite chap.

Favourite. Chap.

Sherlock pondered their perplexing relationship in te back of the black cab, his hands steepled. Why were they visiting some sort of castle? Has Molly’s hair always looked so incredible when windswept? Mycroft didn’t even have Facebook…did he? Was it possible he joined to court the tiny but fierce morgue dweller? The thought made Sherlock’s blood boil and, by the time he reached Bart’s, he was ready to strike whatever body she’d prepared for the day.

“Oh, Sherlock,” Molly gasped as she almost collided into the taller man on his way into the morgue, “I’ve just finished with Mr. Samson…”his eyes were drawn to the phone in her hand, still open on the message from a certain ‘Mikey H’, “is something wrong?”

Sherlock finally looked up at her face, her wrinkled brow and neat ponytail - what did she see in a cake-loving, penicl-pushing, goody-goody desk monkey? He shook his head.

“Nope. What could possibly be wrong?” He shed his coat and took care not to throw it onto the bench, betraying his fury.

Molly persisted, stepping closer, “well, it’s just your brother-”

“Oh, yes, the two of you are soooo close, how could I forget,” he sneered, wrenching his shirt sleeves to his elbows, “spend a lot of time together, do you? Tour the country on the back of his tandem?”

Molly folded her arms, wincing slightly at the force of the first blow he delivered to poor Mr. Samson - no doubt the elderly painter would be feeling it in the afterlife.

“Mycroft,” she ignored his cold laughter at the use of his brother’s name, “and I are friends. I don’t have to run everything by you! We have a lot in common and…I actually really like him.”

“It won’t last, Molly,” he punctuated his words with vigorous swipes at the body, “he is married to pastry. You can’t compete.”

“What is your real problem, Sherlock?” She asked boldly, stepping closer to the bench, pleased he’d temporarily halted his assaults, “why don’t you like me hanging out with Mycroft?” She bit her lip, tilting her head slightly, “is it possible you’re jealous?”

The speed at which Sherlock turned to face her told Molly she’d gone too far, “don’t be ridiculous, Molly. I have far more important things to worry about than your social life. My only concern is that you are not here when you are needed. For work…”

Molly nodded, feeling her temper rising, “because that’s all that matters…” he said nothing, only laying into the corpse harder, “fine! Have it your way; I’m going home. Your brother’s coming to dinner a-and I’m baking a cake…and you know what?” Again, Sherlock didn’t reply, didn’t even look her way - however, his knuckles had turned white from the force with which he was wielding his crop, “I’ll even let him lick the spoon!”

Molly stormed out of the morgue, heels clacking furiously on the tiled floor; the sounds of the aggravated and rapid thumps only caused her to smirk. Rounding the corner, she whipped out her phone and sent out a text to the cause of her bickering with Sherlock.

I think you’re right, you know. Mollyx

It didn’t take long for Mycroft to reply, her smirk only widening as she read.

Give him time, Miss Hooper. Won’t be long now. Mikey H

Proving 100% Why Hinata Stomps Sakura

Argument #1: Sakura’s Earthquake Punch can kill Hinata.

This attack is not as sure-fire as people want to believe. We saw that Sakura first needs to build momentum by jumping super high and then falling down to punch the ground.

Last I recall, Ninjas can only increase the height of their jumps with Chakra, while they simply end up falling at normal, real-life speed. Shown above, Naruto was left completely defenseless when falling, needing to be saved by Sasuke. As is the case, this would give Hinata ample enough time to intercept Sakura while she is falling down and blast her with an Air Palm in mid-air, ending the momentum she’d need to create this technique and damaging her organs.

Not only that, but plenty, PLENTY of Juubi Clones survived the attack, nearly killing Sakura due to her not being able to see through the dust cloud that followed. Considering Hinata survived a point-black Almighty Push then got stabbed, yet STILL managed to remain conscious for some time, a few rocks and stones will not be enough to knock her out completely.

Hinata also has the alternative option of simply avoiding the attack like any sane ninja would by jumping. Here, we see the Juubi fire its Juubi Bomb at Naruto, Bee, Gai and Kakashi. We see that Naruto is front-center, Kakasho/Gai behind and to his right, and Bee behind to his left, and all are facing towards the Juubi.

The dust cloud made as a result of the attack is thus to the right of Naruto, evidenced by Gai and Kakashi’s presence.

Meaning here, the red is Naruto, the blue is Kakashi/Gai, and the yellow is Bee.

And what we see next is Hinata and a million other Shinobi falling from the sky, despite not being on panel when we got the above zoom-out shot. Meaning they were at least some 50 m up high at that point. Then there’s the fact that Ino took control of the Juubi for some 2 seconds, so that’s likely an addition 10 m or so considering they’d still be falling while she was doing so. Meaning her mountain crushing attack can be avoided by literally ANYONE who is capable of jumping.

Take into consideration her Byakugan, which will allow her to see through the dust cloud, and Sakura will only be putting herself in a bad situation with this technique as it does nothing but work to Hinata’s advantage.

There’s also the fact that Hinata can fly with her Rikudo Chakra, but we will get to that later.

Argument #2: The flying debris will hurt Hinata.

As if we’ve ever actually seen such things be any sort of problem to anyone. No scan shows any of the debris from Sakura’s punches being powerful enough to even graze or knock out an opponent, let alone kill them.

In fact, I’d argue that Sakura puts herself more at risk than with Hinata. We saw her get knocked out just by hitting her head against a a wooden bridge, yet Hinata takes a point blank Almighty Push which causes the solid earth beneath her to blast upwards, yet she’s still conscious. If anyone is in a threat of getting knocked out by flying rocks, its Sakura.

Argument #3: Yin Seal can open Chakra Points.

Then there’s the question of whether or not the Yin Seal can actually undo chakra points being blocked, and given how we’ve never seen the Yin Seal do this, I’m not inclined to believe it can, especially with plenty of evidence against it.

But let’s say Sakura CAN unblock chakra points, for arguments sake, I still find this an irrelevant point. The whole method to the 64 Palms is that, once the user lands one hit, they attack with such rapid jabs that they manage to land 64 precise strikes within a second or 2. So once Hinata has blocked 64 of her points, she’ll be fatigued.

One has to remember that during the Chunnin Exams, Neji was not fighting with the intent to kill Naruto, as he was constantly telling him to forfeit (much like how he did with Hinata). If Neji was fighting with the intent to kill Naruto, he would have finished him off right after he used the 64 palms on him, as Naruto still needed actual time to form the hand seals and have Nine Tails Chakra start flowing through his body to release the points, which was only made possible by Neji going easy on him.

Assuming a blood lusted battle, Hinata would be far more wary with Sakura and not give her an opportunity to undo the points unlike how Neji did with Naruto out of ignorance. The events of the Chunnin Exams will not repeat with Hinata. She WON’T wait around like Neji did with Naruto and allow Sakura time to release her Yin Seal, and with 64 of her points blocked, she won’t be able to use chakra to make some distance between them, she won’t be able to run away or smash the ground to buy time, so Hinata can just inject Chakra into her brain while she’s momentarily had her Chakra restricted and finish her off.

But the truth is, there is far more evidence to suggest Yin Seal would be unable to undo the Chakra Points being blocked.

Not only is Naruto directing TALKING to Kurama to give him power, but Kurama also refers to this, saying that Naruto always came to him whenever something came up he couldn’t handle. It likely isn’t the Bijuu Chakra that did it, since we see Hinata later use the 64 Palms on a Juubi Clone, who would naturally have Bijuu Chakra, so is is clear that instead its because Kurama is his own being that he was able to help Naruto, and not the TYPE of Chakra. And the Yin Seal does not house a separate, conscious being like Kurama. I’d say this is more or less a similar case to how Bijuus can help their hosts break out of Genjutsu.

Argument #4: Sakura reacted Kaguya’s Arm, her reflexes are superior.

Dodging something massive from multiple meters away isn’t the same as dodging multiple small strikes (64 Palms) at point blank, the two can’t be compared. In a hand to hand fight, the former would not be relevant at all. A person dodging a car wouldn’t prove that that their reaction to close-range punches in a fist fight would be better.

As I said above, the arm that attacked Sakura is many meters away. When one of Naruto’s clones is hit by it, we can see that he is roughly the same size as the finger’s first part, and considering that scale, it is very VERY apparent that Sakura is at least some 30 m away from the hand when it moves towards her, yet even with such a great distance, she barely manages to react instead needing to be saved.

One shouldn’t bank on this Kaguya Chakra Arm argument anyways. May I remind you that Kyuubi got blitzed by Form 1 Juubi, saying that it was super fast. Yet Hinata was able to react to the Form 2 Juubi’s arms just fine.

What does this tell us? It re-enforces what I said above; that reacting to an attack from a distance is not the same as reacting to a close-ranged barrage of 64 strikes. Of course, the Form 2 Juubi is not as strong as The 10 Tailed Rabbit Form, but that is not relevant, since I am not comparing power levels, and just the fact that dodging distant attacks=/= dodging point blank attacks. And before anyone pipes in, no Kyuubi Cloaks don’t enhance reflexes, only power.

Of course, the fact that Sakura was able to react to this means Hinata could as well. Why do I say this? Simply put, we saw in 614 that Hinata > Sakura in reflexes, meaning that at the time of the 4th World War, Hinata is superior. There’s no reason to believe Hinata, who showed better reflexes than Sakura in the SAME situation, would be unable to do so against this attack.

Also notice that this is Hinata WITHOUT her Byakugan activated, yet she’s still superior to Sakura in reflexes.

Hinata > Wooden Spike

Wooden Spike > Sakura

Sakura > Juubi Hand

Therefore, Hinata w/ Byakugan > Hinata > Wooden Spike > Sakura > Juubi hand. It’s as simple as that.

Now, I will admit that based on this, Sakura is in fact FASTER IN FOOT SPEED than Hinata, however, this isn’t an issue, as I will counter this later.

Argument #5: Sakura dodged the Wooden Spike.

Sakura clearly didn’t, and this is evident by Kakashi’s hand being fully wrapped around her body, with his hand placed on her arm. Meaning Kakashi is the one dragging Sakura’s body away from the spike.

Argument #6: The Hop SFX is pointing at Sakura, meaning she jumped on her own and Kakashi grabbed her.

No. First off, the bubble isn’t even pointing at Sakura, it’s leaning off to the left of her, and there is a perfect reason for that. Second, what logic is there for Kakashi to grab Sakura for no reason? Did Kakashi’s pervy instincts kick in and he wanted tp cup a feel? No!! Of course he has his hand there because he us saving her.

SFX bubbles point in the direction of where the SOUND is coming from, they do not point to the direction of the PERSON making the sound. As shown below, the Klak and Tak SFX point to the direction where Hinata and Naruto tripped.

As such, it makes perfect sense why the Hop SFX is pointing towards Sakura’s left side and not Sakura and Kakashi themselves, because that is where the sound is coming from.

So, to repeat, Hinata even without her Byakugan is superior to Sakura in reflexes. Not surprising anyways, considering she knows 64 Palms, but we will get to that later.

Argument # 7: Sakura can heal from Hinata’s attacks.

True. Assuming somehow, by sheer dumb luck, despite her superior taijutsu and reflexes, Hinata is unable to close Sakura’s Chakra Points, Sakura can heal from any injuries inflicted on her.

However, the Yin Seal only heals physical damage, it doesn’t deal with blunt force. And as we’ve seen, Sakura can’t handle blunt force and has never shown durability feats after she got knocked out by a mere bridge to suggest anything has changed. So any blunt force aimed and impacting her head will knock her out cold.

Air Palm is blunt force combined with the precision of Byakugan, so Hinata’s gonna be able to land the hit anywhere she wants considering she aimed Ino’s Mind Transfer PERFECTLY to Obito from many, many, many meters away, pulling off something Hiashi failed to do.

She also has enough precision to use 64 Palms. If she can aim and align the needle-tip tiny Chakra Points on her fingers at needle-tip tiny points on non-static opponents all while factoring in recoil and moving around to prevent the opponent from escaping her combo attack, aiming at a massive forehead will be no problem.

And I know people will say Hinata fumbled with 64 Palms. But, one, that doesn’t change the precision and speed feats she displayed. Two, she still managed to complete it, and considering that 64 Palms is a combo attack that relies on the user’s speed to be used successfully, it shows how irrelevant the mistake was. And finally, Three, The Last Databook states that she in fact mastered 64 Palms during that exact moment.

Caption of panel where Hinata uses 8 Trigrams 64 Palms: The secret Gentle Fist technique “8 Trigrams 64 Palms.” She masters it with the courage to step out beyond her limits.

30% Kisame forced Gai into 6th Gate in order to defeat him, a testament to his power even at just 30%. Even managed to best him multiple times in taijutsu and speed. Funniest thing about this whole thing is people use the whole Kisame being at 30% to undermine Neji managing to hit Kisame with Air Palm when that clone alone was enough to force Gai beyond 5th Gate. That itself shows how fast Air Palm is to be able to hit 30% Kisame.

Neji’s Air Palm was fast enough to strike 30% Kisame w/o him being able to react, a massive testament to its speed. Air Palm itself is also invisible, so Sakura can’t see it coming anyways, much like how Kisame didn’t see it coming despite how far away Neji was when he used the technique and despite the fact that there was literally nothing between Kisame and Neji.

I know some people will say Kisame was distracted by Lee/Gai, but we see that Kisame in fact landed on the water after being blocked by Lee. Meaning Kisame landed afterwards, and while Gai and Lee were still airborne, Neji unleashed Air Palm.

Some people may also want to say Kisame was in midair and thus unable to move properly. However, this is not the case, as it is more than evident Kisame landed after being blocked by Lee, evidenced by the little splash water circle underneath him.

Even IF Kisame was airborne when hit, the databook states he was blown away before even realizing he was hit, which shows the shear speed of the attack, regardless of whether Kisame was airborne or standing on the water.

Hinata’s Air Palm is on par or surpasses Neji’s due to the two using Air Wall Palm together, which would mean the speed of the attacks would need to be the same in order for the attack to even be effective. This is because, if Neji’s Air Palm was faster than Hinata’s, it would hit their target, sending it flying, while Hinata’s would miss and hit thin air. This means the speed of both techniques must be the same in order for Air Wall Palm to be pulled off properly, and this in turn also means the POWER of the Air Palms are also the same due to Air Palm’s force coming from the speed at which the compressed air travels.

Also, Hinata now has Rikudo Chakra since she received it from Hamura during The Last movie, meaning she can replicate the feat she did against the Juubi’s hand, which not only surpasses Neji’s Air Palm by ages, but it also contains far more force than what is even needed to knock out Sakura.

Her Kyuubi Air Palm sent a massive hand flying instantly. Kakashi noted that the Chakra he received from Naruto was enough to power his techniques three times over at least, and this was with such a small amount that it didn’t form any sort of cloak. This would mean the V1 Cloak Naruto handed out to the alliance was even more powerful, and given that we saw Hinata was able to use her more potent Rikudo Chakra to form a sort of cloak around her, it would mean she would easily be able to replicate her Kyuubi Air Palm with a Rikudo Air Palm with far more power.

Even without it, Hinata’s base Air Palm has enough force behind it to knock Sakura out.

Sakura was knocked out not by 4 Tails Naruto’s Chakra explosion
Not by the resulting shockwave.
Not by the resulting flying body of Kabuto.
Not by the resulting head to butt collision.
But merely hitting her petty head against a simple bridge.

Hinata’s Air Palm, which is on par with Neji’s as shown by their Wall Palm attack, is powerful enough in base to knock away Kisame, who is one of the heaviest human characters in the series. So even ignoring Rikudo Chakra, Hinata’s normal Air Palm has enough fire power to put Sakura into a concussion, whereupon Hinata can proceed to take her time in turning Sakura’s body to pink mush.

There’s also this quote form the 4th Databook:

Unless vital body parts are affected or very deep wounds are present, she can restore her body back to the state of absolute ‘uninjuredness’.

Meaning deep wounds and serious damage become very difficult to heal or at least take some time to recover from, and such damage would surely weaken Sakura’s performance bit by bit in a battle and hinder her performance.

Sakura is not that great at recovering from injuries anyways, as she fell to her knees and was panting simply by having two small knives pierce her arm, even after the knives were removed and she had healed herself. Sasuke even had to call out to Salad to take care of the Mini-Juubi thing instead of Sakura, who, in the same panel, is on her knees.

Considering Neji with Gentle Fist was able to damage Kidomaru to the point he lost his balance and couldn’t stand.

Considering Hinata can power her Gentle Fist through Twin Lion Fists and FURTHER through her Rikudo Chakra.

Considering Hinata’s Gentle Fist was powerful enough in base alone to leave visible exterior marks on the Juubi Clone’s body when Gentle Fist doesn’t even deal with exterior damage. And keep in mind the Juubi Clones are highly durable, at least more so than a normal human like Sakura.

Hinata’s Crumbling Attack would be more than enough to take out Sakura, as even if she does heal from the damage, she would not be able to heal at a rapid enough rate to counter the damage she’d be taking in, and would have her performance and combat abilities hindered by the physical damage done, just like with Shin. Except with Shin, it was two knives that barely stabbed her, while with Hinata, it’s deep damage to her inner organs.

Argument #8: How does Hinata deal with Sakura’s superior foot speed?

Sakura is faster than Hinata based on feats, I will admit to that, but this doesn’t mean she will win. I will make this abundantly clear.

First, let’s look at these two moments.

Sasuke and Lee both note that if the opponent runs at high speeds in a straight line, this is very easy to counter for someone with eyes that can foresee movements, and as explained below, Byakugan, like Sharingan, can do this.

And Sakura’s speed feat of running away from Kaguya’s hand? She was only running in a straight line, much like Sasuke with Chidori and Bee with Lariat. In other words, there is no dynamic or maneuvering in regards to her running motions, so much like Sasuke with Bee, Hinata will have no trouble avoiding her speed, considering Hinata’s own reflexes alone are above Sakura’s, and add on top her Byakugan and that just makes things over kill

A further testament to Hinata’s ability to deal with fast opponents is seen in The Last.

In The Last, after refusing Toneri’s offer, Hiashi attempts to run away from Toneri as his body guards fend them off. Even then however, these combat puppets manage to catch up to and pin down Hiashi, meaning these puppets are superior in speed to Hiashi, who is superior in speed to Sakura.

And yet, we later see Hinata fighting these exact same puppets with ease without the aid of her Byakugan and without harnessing any of her Rikudo Chakra. This means, Hinata is more than capable, EVEN IN BASE, with dealing with opponents faster in speed than her. You could say it is much like how Neji was always superior to Lee despite Lee being above Neji in foot speed.

Tenseigan Puppets > Hiashi >  Sakura > Hinata in speed.

In the end, this means Hinata can deal with opponents faster than her (Tenseigan Puppets/Sakura) just fine even without her Byakugan’s enhancements in reflexes and foreseeing powers.

Argument #9: Hinata got hit by one of the puppets.

Failing to dodge an attack you barely got a glimpse of isn’t a testament to how that would play out when fighting face to face. Hidan nearly had his neck cut off by Shikamaru due to him sneak-attacking Hidan. Yet Hidan was pressuring 3T Kakashi.

Same with the case with Omoi and Sakura. Omoi hit Sakura who was focused on Karui and didn’t have her focus on Omoi, so it doesn’t mean Omoi beats Sakura, as much as I like to troll around with that statement.

Thus, Hinata being hit by that puppet doesn’t mean much when she only got a short glimpse of it and when her focus was on multiple considerably strong puppets who had previously fought Naruto and Hiashi. If Hinata had her Byakugan activated here, she would not have gotten hit by that attack.

Oh, and here’s what Shikadai says about the Byakugan.

Did Hinata have her Byakugan on? Nope! So no 360 vision, no precogntion, and barely got a glimpse of the attack? Yeah, she’d definitely be dodging that with her Byakugan on considering she dodged an attack from behind when she was actually aware of it.

Argument #10: the Puppets weren’t fighting with intention to kill Hinata, while they were fighting with intention to kill Hiashi.

The Tenseigan Puppets were protecting the Tenseigan, which was vital to Toner’s plan, the existence of the puppets, and the existence of the moon’s environment. So there is no reason to believe they’d be holding back TOO MUCH against Hinata.

Not to mention it is conjecture to go claiming the Tenseigan Puppets were fighting with killing intent, as not only is this not confirmed, but Hiashi getting out of that ordeal alive without Toneri confirming if he was dead supports that Toneir wasn’t fighting with killing intent.

There’s also the fact that the puppets, when fighitng with killing intent, use their Chakra Blasts, which they didn’t use that Hiashi used Rotation and got away. Meaning they initially weren’t fighting with killing intent when they chased and caught up to Hiashi, which is the only moment relevant to this discussion.

Argument #11: Hinata may have gotten Rikudo Chakra, but she no longer has it.

No where does it even hint at her no longer having it. The writers of the movie explicitly made it a point and went out of their way to show the Tenseigan disappear from Hanabi’s eyes so people wouldn’t go around thinking this 15 year old has moon-busting powers, yet no such thing was done with Hinata.

She received it in the same way Naruto/Sasuke did, by falling unconscious and receiving it on another plain of existence, so unless it is ever confirmed either of those two no longer have that Chakra, which likely isn’t the case considering they were still being used in the final fight, there is no reason to believe she has lost it either.

Argument #12: Hinata has no Speed Feats herself.

There is at least one notable speed feat for Hinata.

Here’s the infamous page of Hinata attempting to attack Deva Pain, and this is where Hinata’s speed feat lies.

However, this page will not make much sense unless I provide you with the page prior.

Now, notice how, in the upper right panel, there is not a single glimpse of Hinata behind pain, despite the fact that only after a short conversation later, she appear right behind him.

And, yet, just a few panels ago, there is absolutely no sign what so ever of Hinata making her way towards Pain in this previous panel. This shows Hinata was able to make her way across the crater’s radius during Ma’s pep talk, in only a few seconds.

Now, To understand how fast this was, Let’s look at how big the crater was to begin with.

If you look closely, you can see three shadows in the puff of smoke located in the smaller crater. This, no doubt, is Naruto and his toad summons. One of these toad summons is Gamabunta, who’s height measures at 17 m. He is the shadow located between the other two shadows, as evidenced by this panel.

So, knowing Gamabunta’s size in comparison to the crater, that should more less give everyone a sense of scale. And Hinata was able to cross half of that massive crater within a few seconds.

Argument #13: Well, she was never able to use it properly. It gives no enhancements to her powers.

Of course, one may argue that we never see Hinata actually use this Chakra for anything beyond mixing it with Twin Lion Fists and increasing her reserves, but here is where the beautiful concept of common sense kicks in.

  • We don’t need proof for Fugaku’s Sharingan being able to use precognition, because we know all Sharingans can do this.
  • We don’t need proof that Hinata’s Byakugan has a blind spot because we know all Byakugan have it.
  • We don’t need proof that Lee can use the Morning Peacock, because we know anyone who can use the 6th can use this.
  • And of course, we don’t need proof that Sakura’s Yin Seal can regrow her limbs and organs even though she’s only shown healing skin because we know Yin Seal can do these things.

Likewise, we don’t need proof to argue that Hinata’s Rikudo Chakra increased her stats, because we know for a fact that Rikudo Chakra itself will increase the stats of whoever uses it, as we’ve seen with Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi.

Common sense.

Even if one wants to ignore this, she is still able to combine it with her attacks, meaning more power, and Hinata was shown to have higher Chakra reserves on par with Naruto’s after receiving Rikudo Chakra, meaning more speed, since more Chakra means more speed and power guarantee.

Argument #14: Okay, so it boosts her power, speed, and stamina, but it’s not known by how much, so it can’t be measured.

No, we can give a rough estimate.

Kakashi says the Chakra he got from Kurama WHICH DIDN’T EVEN FORM A CLOAK mind you, is 3 x more powerful than his own.

Add on the Bijuu Cloak Naruto gave to the alliance, which would likely be 4 x more potent, and then add Hinata’s Rikudo Chakra, and that’s some 5 x more potent.

Hinata used her own Chakra to reheal Naruto allowing him to reenter 100% KCM right after having so much of his Chakra drained that he fell on his knees, a worse case than this, where at least Naruto was still able to stand. So Hinata’s chakra saw a massive leap in quantity and quality.

Keep in mind Naruto had 100% Kurama during The Last, not 50% like in the War. So his 100% KCM > 50% Bijuu Mode. And Hinata healed that when Naruto was so low on Chakra he couldn’t maintain KCM and couldn’t even stand.

To sum up, not only is Hinata’s Rikudo Chakra more potent than Bijuu Chakra, she also received FAR MORE Chakra from Hamura than she did from Naruto. Meaning, even if one wants to deny everything else, at the VERY LEAST, she can easily replicate, if not surpass, the Air Palm she pulled off with inferior Bijuu Chakra in a lower quantity. And that alone, as explained before, would be enough to knock Sakura out.

Argument #15: Hinata can’t fly, That was just special effects.

There are actually plenty of reasons to believe Hinata was flying here of her own accord. Crying special effects means nothing as this can be used for anything flashy, like claiming Madara’s PS only split a mountain because it would look cool. Doesn’t change the fact that it still happened.

Note that Kakashi credits only the Rikudo Chakra itself for allowing the user to fly, and no other special conditions such as Six Paths Sage Mode or being the Juubi’s Jinchuriki. Along with that, we also see in The Last that Naruto was in fact flying around in Bijuu Sage Mode in his fight with Toneri, furthering supporting the notion that no special form is needed to use Rikudo Chakra to fly.

Argument #16: Naruto was helping her fly.

Nope, not only was Naruto shown unable to pass his flying abilities on to others, as he created a TSB platform for Sasuke to stand on during their fight with Kaguya, but simple logic tells us that you don’t hold up someone in mid-air by simply locking lips. And the possession of their bodies clearly shows they’re floating individually and Naruto isn’t carrying her in any way.

Argument #17: Sasuke and Kakashi weren’t flying.

Sasuke and Kakashi not flying despite having Rikudo Chakra is irrelevant.

With Kakashi, it makes sense. One, Naruto didn’t learn it instantly even WITH Rikudo Mode, which as stated in the databook, greatly speeds up the learning process of such things. Two, he saw Naruto/Sasuke finishing Kaguya off, so no reason for him to fly back, three, he had that Chakra for a few mere seconds do no reason to think he’d master it so quick in battle, and four, no need when he landed safely on the ground.

With Sasuke, Hagormo’s powers were split in two, so him not being able to fly makes sense, just as Naruto didn’t gain Rennigan despite having Indra + Ashura’s Chakra within him.

Argument #18: Hinata’s Taijutsu isn’t better than Sakura’s.

64 Palms is a true testament to Hinata’s amazing taijutsu prowess.

Notice what Kakashi says. REGARDLESS of having penetrative vision, to be able to hit the Chakra Points in the heat of battle against non-static opponents is something this man finds amazing. And this is Kakashi simply speaking of the Gentle Fist itself, not even the 64 Palms, a combo attack that pushes the Gentle Fist to its limit.

With 64 Palms, Hinata needs to react, aim, and move fast enough to align the tiny chakra points at the edge of her fingers which are as small as the tip of a needle with the various equally tiny chakra points on an opponents body 64 times, all while maneuvering around in the heat of battle in a manner and speed so as to prevent her opponent from escaping her combo attack.

Then there is their short taijutsu feats in The Last.

With Sakura, it’s nothing impressive. She fights off a bunch of maiden puppets that were designed for service rather than combat, and her taijutsu itself doesn’t come off as that impressive when noticing that all the maiden puppets just fly towards her with no coherence or technique.

With Hinata, she fights against the same puppets that gave Hiashi trouble, as I went into detail above. During the fight, with no Byakugan abilities and pure taijutsu, she redirects the momentum of one of the high-speed puppets, sending it flying, (this not shown in the GIF) dodges an attack from above before proceeding to double kick two other puppets and black flips off of one of them into the air. Landing, she then, without even seeing it, dodges a puppet who attacks her from behind, and finally proceeds to take on two other puppets before being stopped by Toneri.

Sakura’s agility is definitely there, but not only is Hinata’s taijutsu still faster (64 Palms), but its not the same as what Hinata displayed, actually fighting puppets made for combat, same ones who fought off Naruto and Hiashi, wherein she also displayed great skill, redirecting momentum, back flipping off opponents, incorporating kicks into the Gentle Fist style, which doesn’t use kicks, dodging an attack from behind without even using Byakugan, If Hinata can avoid a point-blank assault from behind without using the Byakugan’s 360 vision and precognition when she’s aware of it, she’s not falling prey to a linear, predictable punch from Sakura.

Argument #19: Sakura can maneuver her way out of 64 Palms.

Understand that the 64 Palms is essentially a one-hit attack. Once the first strike hits, the other 63 are guaranteed, that’s why it’s such a difficult Taijutsu technique to master in the first place and why it’s placed even above Rotation in it’s difficulty, as Tenten notes 64 Palms is the true testament to Neji’s power, even after Neji displayed Rotation.

If it was possible to fight back after getting hit by the first strike, Kidomaru would have done it. He wasn’t  in pain, wasn’t having Chakra Points blocked, and had SIX ARMS to help him get the job done (EI grabbing Neji’s hands to stop him from attacking). Yet people want to argue Sakura who is negative in all three of those aspects would be able to fight back while being jabbed by Hinata. While her chakra flow is being disrupted, thus getting rid of her Super Strength, what would she do?

Even Hinata’s split second blunder wasn’t enough to allow the Mini Juubi time to escape the 64 Palms. That’s because it’s a combo attack; it’s meant to leave no room for an opening or opportunity for the enemy to fight back. And yes, if the opponent is fast and skilled enough, they can escape it, but after everything regarding reflexes, taijutsu, and striking speed I’ve said above, there’s no way any sane person can argue Sakura’s skills are good enough to do such a thing.

Another noteworthy feat by Hinata is here.

Hinata was able to protect Neji from a Zetsu before he could react, counter, use rotation, or even turn around. She’s clearly near his level in taijutsu, including reaction time and speed, even before learning 64 Palms and getting Rikudo Chakra at the age of 16.

However, that’s not to say Neji couldn’t have dealt with that on his own, just that Hinata was able to take care of the problem before Neji could take care of it himself. Something like how Sakura would have been able to take out the White Zetsus that attacked her, but Naruto did it instead.

Another feat

If Hinata was able to find an opening and take advantage of it against:

 >A far superior Taijutsu opponent

>Who has a Dojutsu that grants precognition

>Who has better reflexes than her

Hinata most definitely will be able to overwhelm and counter:

>A far inferior Taijutsu opponent

>Who has no visual enhancements

>Who has inferior reflexes than her (614)

Argument #20: Sakura took down Shin.

Sakura taking out an off guard and distracted Shin is as relevant as Shikamaru attacking Hidan off guard, Omoi attacking Sakura off guard, and Himawari attacking Naruto off guard. Like I said with Hinata being hit by that Tenseigan Puppet, attacking an off guard/blind-sided opponent isn’t a testament to a person’s actual skill.

We even see later on Shin beating Sakura in an actual 1 on 1, so that further proves my point.

I want to emphasize this point greatly: If Sakura had gotten even one hit on Shin, he would have been out like last time, or at least have visible bruises and blood considering how strong Sakura is, meaning she didn’t touch him even once.

Argument #21: Sakura was praised by Hashirama, Sasori, and Sasuke.

Hashirama compared her to a 5 Year old Tsunade, I don’t think that qualifies as praise.

Sasori complimented her medical skills, not fighting capabilities.

Sasuke said she could take care of Shin on her own, but we saw how that played out, didn’t we? She got pasted. I mean, Sasuke had been away for years, so what does he even know, right?

As for Hinata, we have this.

“Hinata!!”

“Know this!”

“Hyuga are the Strongest in Konoha”

Naruto displays concern over Hinata when she shows up to protect him, which prompts Hiashi to remind Naruto that the Hyuga Clan are the strongest in Konoha in response to his worries over Hinata. Which, in short, means he acknowledges Hinata as a strong Hyuga, which means a lot considering how he was towards Hinata in the past.

And of course, let’s not forget Naruto constantly praising her strength in The Last and in Boruto. Likewise, Hamura deemed her worthy of inheriting his Chakra, much like Hagormo did with Naruto/Sasuke and Momoshiki with Bolt.

Argument #22: Sakura is a Jonin and Hinata is a Chunnin.

Ranks stopped being relevant when the weak Shikamaru became a Chunnin over literally everyone else who was above him bar Ino and Sakura. Same applies to Kakashi being made Hokage. Not to mention this whole thing hinges n the assumption Hinata even attempted or wanted to move up to Jonin rank.

A blurb about Eric always spying on his hot neighbor while she changes constantly? Please :-)

This should be a blurb but I got carried away….it just happens! Also I know that Eric’s room wasn’t on the first floor but it’s easier like that! I will never proofread or send blurbs/bulletpoinst to someone to proofread because those are just not worth it so accept that there are lots of errors and just read, thanks

(Y/H/L) - Your hair length

(Y/H/C) - Your hair color

(Y/E/C) - Your eye color

At first Eric hadn’t really cared that new neighbours moved in and he wasn’t particularly interested in getting to know them either. It was summer and to talk to the people that would from now on live next to his house was the last thing that was on his mind.

But on Saturday evening that attitude changed. Eric was getting ready in his room. It still surprised him that Brooks and him got along since a few weeks even after all that had happened between them. Tonight him and the boys were meeting at Brooks’ house, nothing special just a typical night with beer and video games. He grabbed his car keys and turned the lights off before he went to the door but suddenly he spotted light outside across his window. Eric looked over to the other house only quickly but stopped and slowly moved to his window to pull the curtain to the side when he realized what he saw.

A girl, surely not older than him. (Y/H/L) (Y/H/C) hair that harmonized perfectly with her (Y/E/C) eyes, at least they seemed to be (Y/E/C) from this distance and a beautiful face with a small nose and full soft lips. Eric felt like he had to sit down for a minute and sunk down to sit in his chair, his hand still on the curtain to hold it open. It was a hot summer night and she was barely dressed, probably in the process of changing. The only thing she wore was a black lacy bra and some shorts. He cursed internally, angry at himself that he hadn’t gone with his parents and Kevin when they had went over to say hello to the new neighbours, if only he had known that- Eric sucked in a breath when she suddenly opened the zipper of her shorts and slowly dragged them down her long legs to step out of them. He couldn’t believe that this goddess was now living right next to his house and that she obviously had never heard of window blinds either. He watched her picking her shorts up and neatly folding them before she laid them on her bed. Eric knew that his senses weren’t even remotely capable to determine what he saw right now but even from here her legs looked smoother than anything he had ever touched and he didn’t even want to allow his mind to wander and think about the perfectly shaped body and what he would like to do to that body. His fingers tightened around the curtain when he saw her hands moving to her back to unclaps her bra.

Suddenly his phone rang and Eric jumped up quickly, a little bit startled. He picked up and lied to Brooks about the reason he was late, telling him he’d be there in a minute. When he turned around again he noticed that the girl in the other house had already left her room, likely to take a shower. He groaned in anger when he saw her underwear laying next to her shorts on the bed. He secretly blamed Brooks for this.

Nevertheless Eric managed to leave the house and get in the car. The entire evening though he had nothing else on his mind but you. His thoughts distracted him so much that Eric was almost ashamed when Dylan even beat him in Doom.

On Sunday when Eric lay in bed at night he really didn’t want to be sneaky again and risk a look if you were about to prepare for bed but his curiosity got the better of him and he stood up and walked over to the window, leaning against the windowsill. He was disappointed when he saw nothing but darkness in your room but as if luck was on his side the light was suddenly turned on and you walked into your room.

He carefully pulled the curtain to the side and leaned against the window frame. You of course did not notice anything. You had no idea that the boy from next door was being not quite a gentleman but rather a voyeur. You were lost in your own world. You had just moved to Littleton and it was not really the place to be but you liked the nature here and had grown familiar with the people as well. You were glad that you moved here during the summer holidays and were curious about the school you would go to after summer. But the weather here was awful. It could be cold and rainy on one day and on the next day humid and hot. Today was one of the hotter days. You sighed relieved as you finally got to take of your dress.

Eric watched as you pulled your dress over your head in one swift movement and felt his body tensing. He hadn’t known that some girls apparently did not wear bras all the time and not underneath every piece of clothing. He however knew that he would probably sound like a fool if he’d speak the words out loud and even if he had never seen any breasts in real life except for in porn, he was sure that yours were the most beautiful so far. If he was an asshole he’d get his phone and take a picture right now but he was definitely not an asshole and he already feelt quite guilty for watching you.

The days went by and Eric had realized that watching you had become quite an unhealthy obsession but he couldn’t bring himself to stop or change his behaviour. He didn’t even need porn anymore.

It kind of became a ritual. One time he almost crossed the speed limit on the way home because it was not possible for him anymore to miss your nightly show.

He had never felt so relieved before when he stormed into his room and caught you as you walked in your room. He was at the same time disturbed about how addicted he had become to this but that was quickly forgotten as soon as you buttoned down your shirt.

On the next day in the morning Eric woke up earlier than usual and immediately walked over to his window. You were still sleeping. He smiled and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and shower. When he walked back into his room, wearing nothing but a towel loosely wrapped around his waist he walked over to his window again. You had already woken up and had already changed into your underwear, currently brushing your hair.

It was no longer a sexual need that he had to satisfy by watching you but he had fallen a little bit in love with the gestures you made or the way your lips curled into a smile when you were on the phone with one of your friends. Eric pulled the curtain to the side, watching you as you searched for something to wear. You had something about you that had awoken his interest. The way you did everything with careful and gentle movements. The way you stretched after a long day or the way you ran your fingers through your hair. The way you walked over to the window right now to open it and the way those beautiful eyes looked straight back at him while-

Eric stumbled when he quickly retreated from the window and fell over ripping the curtain off in the process. Damn it! He had been so careful all the time and now this. He stayed on the floor for a few seconds. Maybe you hadn’t seen him.

Suddenly he could hear the door bell ring. This didn’t have to mean that this had to be you. It could be anyone. That could be Dylan. That could be Kevin, really anyone. Eric wasn’t sure if he should dare to open the door. Sparky began to bark nervously when the bell rang again and Eric snarled before he quickly stood up. He went down the stairs, still only wearing the towel and being strangely entangled in the shreds of his curtain. He gently pushed Sparky to the side and swallowed hard before he opened the door. His heart almost dropped when he saw no one else but you standing in front of him. Eric cleared his throat and adjusted his towel, pulling it up a little bit.

“Hey.“

He said and you looked the boy in front of you over for a second before you said a quick ‘Hi’. He was clearly the boy you had seen before, the one who had stood at the window and had stared at you. His chest was still dotted with drops of water, the towel around his waist already hinting that he had taken a shower before. A shred of fabric was wrapped around his neck and hanging from his shoulders. You knew that this was a curtain.

“Interesting style.”

You commented and grasped the shred that was wrapped across his neck, gently tearing it off. Eric leaned casually against the door, trying to seem laid-back.

“Uhm yeah, we wear it like this in Colorado sometimes.“

You let out an amused huff. A voyeur but a pretty funny voyeur.

“And you also sometimes spy on your neighbours through the window? Is this another one of Colorado’s traditions?”

Eric blinked and licked his lips.

“Yeah, we sometimes do that too.”

You watched as his face turned red. He was cute, you couldn’t deny that.

“I’m (Y/N).”

You said and gave him a smile.

“Eric.”

He rasped back and pulled and grasped at his towel which seemed to slide down slowly.

“Okay Eric, listen! I have to be at the mall in 30 minutes. I would have taken the bus but my time is limited now that I had to notice that I’m not as unobserved in my own room as I thought I am and had to come over to get to talk to the person on the other side of my window. You have a car and you will drive me and we can forget about this.”

You said with a grin and watched amused as Eric’s eyes widened a bit.

“Sure.”

He said and nodded.

“Perfect. Oh and don’t forget your scarf.“

You mocked him and wrapped the curtain around his neck again before you turned around to leave. Eric smiled and closed the door behind you. Maybe this summer would get more interesting than the last summers.

Introverted Feeling (Fi)
“I’ll bake me a door to help me get through. I learned that from you. Mama, it’s amazing what baking can do.”
Jenna focuses on her inner emotions throughout the show, doing her best to rely on herself to try to move through all of the problems that come her way. Instead of openly showing emotion to the world, she pushes her feelings into pies (“When it’s done/I can smile/It’s on someone else’s plate for a while”). In “She Used To Be Mine,” Jenna expresses how she feels she has betrayed and lost herself, becoming out of touch with her inner feelings. She is not easily influenced by the feelings of others, and instead tries to do whatever she deems is the right thing. For instance, she doesn’t bow in to people telling her she should look forward to having a baby, and later on she ends up breaking her affair because she knows it will cause pain for many people.

Extroverted Intuition (Ne)
“A dream needs believing to taste like the real thing.”
Jenna is creative and curious, always thinking about what pie she can make next or how she can move on to a better life away from Earl. When creating new pies, she shuffles between ideas and names with great speed, coming up with unique ideas every time. She demonstrates how capable she is at seizing opportunities when they appear, such as deciding to join the pie competition or starting an affair with Dr. Pomatter. Jenna can also find herself caught up within hypothetical dreams, shown in “A Soft Place To Land” where she looks forward to a better life that seems barely within reach along with Dawn and Becky.

Introverted Sensing (Si)
“She is messy but she’s kind. She is lonely most of the time. She is all of this mixed up and baked in a beautiful pie. She is gone, but she used to be mine.”
Although Jenna usually looks forward, there are quite a few moments where she finds she must rely on the past in order to keep moving. She often talks about her mother - how they baked together, every lesson she learned from all her advice. Her past experiences guide her in those ways along with routine - most days in Joe’s Pie Diner end up being “carbon copies of an old routine.” However, Jenna does show a desire to break free from the problems she continues to have again and again with Earl - she does not fondly remember how they first met, nor does she cherish their time together.

Extroverted Thinking (Te)
“My whole life is in here, in this kitchen baking. What a mess I’m making!”
Most of the time, Jenna shows that she feels powerless to take on anything outside of herself and her pies, preferring to stay with her own emotions. She struggles to find the control to leave Earl even though she wants to, and finds herself trying to rationalize her reasons. Many of her decisions are made with emotions first, such as how she has an affair with Dr. Pomatter because she “needs a bad idea,” knowing logically it could lead to problems. Jenna demonstrates that she is able to plan for the future in a logical manner, but this is typically guided with her goals and emotions through Fi.

Some random Video game HC’s for class 1-A
  • I think Izuku would be interested in anything with super heroes, mostly marvel and dc games so he can compare their super powers to the heroes in real life or something like that. Like I think he’d especially like the old Captain America since his outfit is kinda similar to All Might’s. He’d use Superman a lot because his strength reminds him of OFA. Or he’d play some Wii fitness games for good exercise.
  • Uraraka would probably know little to nothing about video games (because of her financial situation) but I think she’d play games like smashbros or something, or anything Nintendo.
  • Iida would love racing games, like Need For Speed although he’d probably dislike the fact that you’re basically drag racing and running away from the cops which is illegal. He’d also love running games like Sonic the Hedgehog games, or games where you just have to run.
  • Bakugou would just play games where he’d be free to rampage around and destroy things or kill people, like Assassin’s Creed, God of War and especially GTA. He’d also play vs. games where he can just put his anger on people by beating them up in a video game.
  • I think Kirishima would play anything that’s manly like boxing games, and sports games (like the games in the FIFA /NBA series).
  • Kaminari would play all kinds of video games, mostly action and first person shooter games. I like to hc that he’d play Overwatch  a lot.
  • Shouji would love rpg games with a lot of action in it. He’d play games like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest or Nier Automata…
  • Mineta would love anything with a hot female protagonist. He’d play a lot of inappropriate games like Dead or Alive 3: beach volleyball or anything with nudity.
  • Yaoyorozu would rarely play because she thinks it’s a waste of time, but on the few occasions where she does, she’d play Minecraft on the Xbox because all you do is literally create stuff.
  • Aoyama would play anything with sparkles or disco balls, so I’d feel he’d play games like Just Dance.
  • Kouda would play simple games like Animal Crossing, or Nintendogs, anything with animals.
  • Tsuyu would love Wii games like Wii Sports Resort., Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games/London 2012 (and she’d use Yoshi all the time) or anything that has to do with swimming.
  • Ojiro would love games that focus on martial arts like King of Fighters, Tekken, or Street Fighters.
  • Satou would like some action games, but he’d mostly play cooking/bakery games on his phone.
  • Tokoyami would play any Pokemon game.
  • Shouto wouldn’t really know anything about video games just like Uraraka, but he’d like vs. games.
  • Mina would play games like sims 3/sims 4 because she can literally do anything she wants, date anyone she wants, become super rich and popular, and maybe have kids.
  • Jirou would love music games, but she’d mostly play Guitar Hero.
  • Hagakure would play games with drama and angst like Episode on her phone.
Why Hinata can easily defeat Sakura

“Sakura can punch the ground and the mountains will kill her like it did to the Juubi Clones”

Nope.

Considering Hinata survived a point-black Almighty Push, a few rocks and stones will not be enough to knock her out completely.

Here, we see the dust cloud created by the attack is to the right of Naruto, evidenced by Kakashi and Gai’s presence.

As such, the panel below means that the red is Naruto, the blue is Kakashi/Gai, and the yellow is Bee.

And what we see next is Hinata, Ino, and other shinobi falling down from the sky, despite not being present in the previous panel at all, meaning that they were at least some 40 to 50 M in the air. Then there’s the fact that Ino took control of the Juubi for some 2 seconds, so that’s likely an addition 10 m or so considering they’d still be falling while she was doing so. Meaning her mountain crushing attack can be avoided by literally ANYONE.

Take into consideration her Byakugan, which will allow her to see through the dust cloud, and Sakura will only be putting herself in a bad situation with this technique as it does nothing but work to Hinata’s advantage.

“Yin Seal can open Chakra Points”

First off, during his training to control the Kyuubi’s chakra, Jiriaya specifically points out that Naruto has two different “types” of Chakra in him, with Naruto, Hiruzen, and Hiashi also all pointing out the TYPE of chakra Naruto was using rather than it being a sealed Chakra source.

Lastly, the biggest proof of all that the Yin Seal can’t open Chakra Points is nothing but manga scans.

Kidomaru is hit by Neji’s Gentle Fist attack, right after which he points out that he can’t channel his chakra anymore, hence his Chakra was stopped by Gentle Fist, and in turn, we see his Curse Seal fade away as a result of this. Yin Seal would work the same way, being sealed off as soon as even ONE of Sakura’s Chakra points is closed.

“Sakura is faster, she dodged Kaguya’s Arm”

Dodging something massive from multiple meters away isn’t the same as dodging multiple small strikes (64 Palms) at point blank.

Yet Hinata and the Akamichi were all able to react to the Form 2 Juubi’s arms just fine.

So who really IS faster? Sakura or Hinata. The answer is obviously Hinata, based on the following.

More Chakra = Better Reflexes & Speed

With Sakura, we see that, when she is attempting to revive the fallen Naruto, she specifically points out her Chakra levels are super low, despite already having the Yin Seal, forcing her to go from using the Mystic Palm Technique to simply attempting CPR.

Yet, later, we still see her use a massive amount of Chakra to help save Sasuke. This means that, despite her Chakra levels being greater than a Rikudo Naruto Shadow Clone’s levels, Sakura does not have access to ALL of the Chakra in her seal whenever she pleases, akin to how Naruto does not have access to all the Chakra of the Nine Tails in Part 1, though she can still transfer it to others, likely because, like Madara with Kaguya, her body is unable to handle so much Chakra actually being in her system and instead she must rely on extracting small amounts from the seal, amounts that she herself can actually handle.

Thus, Yin Seal does not affect her speed.

Also, Sakura and Hinata ended up running out of Chakra at the exact same time, yet Hinata was on the battle field for 48 hours straight, in arguably the most chaotic area of the war due to the Zetsus, while Sakura was chilling in the medic corps tents. This is also another indication of her superior Chakra levels.

Of course, there is a far better and more direct comparison of Sakura and Hinata’s Chakra levels in The Last. We see Hinata recover Naruto’s drained Chakra pool within an instant, not even showing any signs of fatigue either, while Sakura takes three whole days to do so with every ounce of her Chakra, whereupon she is so exhausted to the point that she’s forced to lie down herself. Sure, you can argue that Naruto was completely unconscious with Sakura while he was merely on his knees with Hinata, but that doesn’t change the MASSIVE difference in the time and the resulting fatigue of both girls, which is non-existent in Hinata’s case.

nd Hinata has Rikudo Chakra at her disposal now, and we know that stuff is highly potent and powerful, so there would be a massive boost to her power and speed. Of course, one may argue that we never see Hinata actually use this Chakra for anything beyond mixing it with Twin Lion Fists, but here is where the beautiful concept of common sense kicks in.

We don’t need proof for Fugaku’s Sharingan being able to use precognition, because we know all Sharingans can do this. We don’t need proof that Hinata’s Byakugan has a blind spot because we know all Byakugan have it. We don’t need proof that Dai can use all the other Gates below the 8th, because we know anyone who can use the 8th can use all the others. We don’t need proof that Sasuke’s Rennigan can use the Six Paths techniques, because we know all Rennigan can do this.

Likewise, we don’t need proof to argue that Hinata’s Rikudo Chakra increased her stats, because we know for a fact that Rikudo Chakra itself will increase the stats of however uses it, as we’ve seen with Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi. Common sense.

With this chakra, outside of higher stamina and speed, Hinata would easily be able to replicate the effects of her Kyuubi Air Palm, which sent a Tailed-Beast Sized hand flying instantly. If Hinata were to use such a powerful attack on Sakura, she would be knocked away, causing her to collide with whatever environmental objects or buildings that may be around, in turn causing her to get knocked out and pass out, as we see that Sakura is very poor at tanking blunt force like the Air Palm.

However, let’s assume that even with her canonical better reflexes (details below), Rikudo Chakra, and larger Chakra pool, Hinata is still somehow slower than Sakura. Will this allow Sakura to win? Still no, because the Byakugan can deal with speedy opponents just fine.

Here we see Kakashi with his Sharingan activated in order to keep up with Lee’s movements, and we also see Neji doing the same. Obviously, this means the reason he has his Byakugan activated is to also be able to keep up with Lee.

Later, we see another example of this with Hinata when Obito becomes the Ten Tails Jinchuriki. The transformation is seen twice, one normally, and one through Hinata’s eyes.

Notice how in Hinata’s vision, there are far more panels used to display Obito sealing the Juubi? This indicates that Hinata too was using the Byakugan’s ability to keep track of high-speed movement, allowing her to see the Juubi being sealed away in detail. Moreover, Hinata notes that there were at least two ways she was able to tell the Juubi was absorbed by Obito, as she says “Judging by the Chakra as well”, meaning there would have been another method to how she knew the Juubi was sealed, that being that she simply saw it happen.

This would mean that even in the case that Sakura is faster than her, which she isn’t due to the reasoning mentioned above, Hinata would still be able to keep track of her and not get blitzed. Combine this tracking ability with her speedy taijutsu (details below), and she can easily intercept any attacks Sakura throws at her.

“Sakura is better in taijutsu”

The databook scores already prove this wrong, but since they’re so old and inconsistent, we’ll need more evidence.

64 Palms is a true testament to Hinata’s amazing taijutsu prowess.

Notice what Kakashi says. REGARDLESS of having penetrative vision, to be able to hit the Chakra Points in the heat of battle is something this man finds amazing.

Not only that, but the attack starts with 2 jabs and ultimately ends with 32 jabs, meaning Hinata is capable of dishing out 32 jabs in a matter of a second or two. Pretty sure that qualifies as better reflexes, precision, and skill than getting kicked by Omoi, a fodder in Taijutsu.

Then there is their short taijutsu feats in The Last.

With Sakura, it’s nothing impressive. She fights off a bunch of maiden puppets that were designed for service rather than combat, and her taijutsu itself doesn’t come off as that impressive when noticing that all the maiden puppets just fly towards her with no coherence.

With Hinata, she fights against the same puppets that gave Hiashi and Naruto trouble. During the fight, with no Byakugan abilities and pure taijutsu, she redirects the momentum of one of the puppets, sending it flying, dodges an attack from above before proceeding to double kick two other puppets and black flips off of one of them into the air. Landing, she then, without even seeing it, dodges a puppet who attacks her from behind, and finally proceeds to take on two other puppets before being stopped by Toneri.

Two quotes to note from here.

“Even if you can see it, if your body can’t move, there’s nothing you can do”

“A straight forward attack makes it easy for the opponent to counter”

We know that not only can Hinata keep track of high speed, but her taijutsu is also very fast, evidenced by the 64 Palms, again, as noted above. Sakura herself is nothing more than a straightforward fighter, often doing nothing more than dishing out simple punches that hold very little value or worth in a legitimate taijutsu battle. Compare that to someone who can rapidly and accurately hit 64 tiny points in battle, and all the evidence is in favor of Hinata in a taijutsu fight, even IF Sakura’s foot speed is faster, simply because Hinata’s eyes would keep track of such speed and her superior, faster, and more dynamic taijutsu would allow her to counter such speed.

“How do you know 64 Palms will work? Sakura can dodge or counter it”

Understand that the 64 Palms is essentially a one-hit attack. Once the first strike hits, the other 63 are guaranteed every time, that’s why it’s such a difficult Taijutsu technique to master in the first place, and hence why Naruto/Kidomaru didn’t move out of the way when they were being hit.

Sakura, who couldn’t even react to Omoi’s kick.

We see with Sasuke, that simply getting ONE of his Chakra Points hit caused him to be unable to control his Susano’O in order to manifest its wings, showing that even one closed point is enough to disturb an opponents technique. Fortunately for Sasuke, Kaguya used her hair needle, which Sasuke simply removed, whereas Hinata would be using her own fists. One hit from 64 Palms, no Super Strength. What then?

Not only that, but there is VERY clearly a sort of paraylsis effect whenever a person has their Chakra Points hit, as shown with both the hawk and Sasuke having “quiv quiv” sound effects written when they are hit and shake lines around them, indicating they are quivering due to being unable to move. This in fact explains even further why 64 Palms is an unavoidable tech when the first hit lands, since it causes temporary paralysis when hitting the Chakra Points, buying the Gentle Fist user enough time to continue to hit the 2nd, then 3rd, then 4th, and so on until the technique is done.

Also, Hinata’s reflexes far surpass Sakura’s. Not only is this evident by her Byakugan, her Gentle Fist, and expertise in the 64 Palms as previously pointed out,  but we saw a blatant example of this in Chapter 614 when Hinata was able to react to and protect Naruto from a wooden spike while Sakura failed to dodge it and was instead saved by Kakashi. And keep in mind Hinata did this with her Byakugan inactivated, meaning no enhanced vision to track high speed movement.

“Hinata failed at 64 Palms and even tripped over a rock”

Irrelevant and failure to understand context. Sure, Hinata had a slight delay in her 64 Palms, but she still managed to complete it properly. As said above, the 64 Palms is a combo attack that relies on the user’s speed and accuracy to keep it going, so the fact that the Juubi Clone was unable to fight back even with that blunder of Hinata’s is proof of just how minuscule the mistake truly was.

As for her tripping, this is not a testament to her skills. It was outright stated that the alliance was running on fumes at that point, meaning everyone was at their limit, including Hinata , hence why they needed to be protected by Hiruzen.  So her faltering when so low on Chakra is about as much of a testament to her skill as Naruto tripping in his fight with Sasuke; no relevance whatsoever. As pointed out in the scan with Deidara, low Chakra means worse reflexes.

CK: Well sheeeeeeeeeit somebody did their mufuggin homework. Now to get my popcorn cuz dis gon be gud….

I've been playing some open world games recently and realized I've never played any game, open world or not, where the driving was anything less than frustrating. Is there a reason so many games have such terrible driving?

Subsystems like stealth, driving, etc. generally require a lot of resources to do right. Most people have a lot of personal experience with what driving or hiding feel like, which makes any part of the experience that doesn’t gel with their firsthand knowledge stick out like a sore thumb. It’s similar to seeing human movement as opposed to monster movement - we don’t notice a lot of weird monster movements because we’ve never seen a creature act like that in reality, so we don’t have the context to really get it. However, we’ve been seeing people move for our entire lives, so behaviors like elbows and knees popping the wrong way will raise warning flags. Many of us have spent hundreds of hours riding or driving in real life, so we have that context.

Driving in driving games like Need for Speed, Mario Kart, or Gran Turismo generally feels really good because the developers have spent a ton of time and resources building it. Driving in games like Tomb Raider, Uncharted, or Halo are never as good, simply because the core gameplay loop doesn’t often involve driving, so they couldn’t justify the resource spend to make it feel really good.

Got a burning question you want answered?

anonymous asked:

If you were a member of class 1-A (instead of Mineta), who would your friends be? How would you be ranked in terms of grades and/or fighting prowess? how would you perform in the Sports Festival? What about villain encounters in later arcs (for example, if you fought Stain beside TodoDeku and Iida)? What would your quirk and role in the story be? Would you be close with All-Might or Aizawa? Just, your potential life in U. A.???

Ooh. hm. okay.

So first off this is assuming I have way more athletic prowess than I do in real life, otherwise this is a no go. I’m gonna go with my short-range teleportation quirk idea because that’s the superpower I find myself wishing for most often. Honestly Mineta is canonically #9 in grades and I can easily see myself being in roughly that area, academically, maybe even a little higher. I’d probably be best in intelligence and cooperativeness, but I’d need to work on power, speed, and technique like whoa.

I can easily see myself being friends with Iida and Tsuyu, probably Uraraka as well. If I really am taking the place of Mineta then that means I’m sitting behind Izuku, which would be awesome because he’s A+ pitviper friend material too. I would LOVE learning from All-Might but honestly one of my favorite teachers in high school had an extremely similar personality to Aizawa, so I’d probably latch on to him, mentor-wise.

I can’t see myself getting super far in the Sports Festival because I hate cardio, but then again a short-range teleportation quirk would get me through the first event pretty well (I’m shit at running which is why a power like that is what I desperately want). On the other hand I wouldn’t have much to offer in the cavalry battle, so I’d definitely get knocked out there.

Of course, having a power like that might render half the conflict in the USJ arc moot because I could literally just teleport out of the facility and haul ass back to campus for help?? but then again I’d be slower than Iida, so it probably evens out there. EXCEPT. If I’m Mineta then I end up in the shipwreck zone with Izuku and Tsuyu, and I sadly would not have sticky balls to help them out of that mess. Meh, Izuku’d probably figure something out.

Man, fighting Stain, though. That’d be wild. I’d probably end up running interference and distraction, because I’d be the best at avoiding attacks while still blinking in and out close enough to divide his attention. No big flashy attacks from me, too bad.

As for role in the story? Probably a side-character friend girl. Some comic relief thanks to snarky comments and general awkwardness. My other job is to emotionally validate the hell out of like, all the characters.

Forever upset that human beings don’t have wings

I mean, can you imagine?

We could dye our and feathers and go all punk rock or bleach them white and get a whole nother color. And of course there will be someone dying their greying “feather roots”

Everyone’s wings would either match their hair color or match a real-life bird’s plumage. Black and white wings would be bombdiggidy

Flying would be as commonplace as walking

We probably live in giant towers or mountain side cause hey, we can fly all the way up there. Height means nothing

Babies would have downy little flightless wings and would have to hitch a ride with their parents until they were strong enough to fly, which probably would be be till about 10.

There would be flight classes, were you need to get your flying license and test your wings to see if there up for the strain of flight

And we’d probably have birds for pets instead of flightless cats and dogs. Unless they can fly too, then all three. c:

And everyone would have different types of wings depending on your body type and ethnicity.  Small bones people would have small wings for speed, heavier would have wide, soaring wings ect.  People with african ethnicity could have pygmy falcon wings while people of asian  ethnicity could have crane wings.

Yea, just amazing.
