New chapter in Marianne Vos’ career after Giro Donne 2011 (by Dave27081988)

Nice little interview with race footage

I can’t tell you how impressive Vos’ race was this year.  At 24, she’s won a LOT of races, but this year she re-trained herself as a climber to win the biggest women’s race of the year.  This ITT video is a great way to demonstrate how amazing she is - at 3km to go in the ITT, she punctured and needed a bike change - and still finished only 15 seconds off Ina-Yoko Teutenberg, the stage winner.  Watch out for how she takes the sleeping policeman at the end - and for how much she’s given, as she collapsed, exhausted at the end.  Seriously the best cyclist anywhere in the world!
