NCAA Tourney Round 1 Cheerleader Preview - #7 UCLA v. #10 Michigan State
It wasn’t that long ago that this match-up would have made more sense in the Elite Eight or even the Final Four. Alas, both programs have fallen on hard times this year, so we get to see them battle in the 1st round instead. I have a feeling, though, that both programs will be back to their old selves sooner than a lot of people are hoping.
If you are a basketball fan you are most definitely glued to the NCAA Tournament 2011 games, and it is doubtful much else is being accomplished in your home of late. Your non-basketball-loving friends may decide an attempt at forcing you out into the great wide world, but don’t worry! Thanks to Apple, you can now watch the 2011 NCAA tournament games streaming online via video feeds right from your iPad 2 and other mobile devices!
NCAA Championship Game Cheerleader Preview - #3 UCONN v. #8 Butler
It all comes down to this. And for the second year in a row we have the Butler Bulldogs in the NCAA Championship Game. I don’t think anyone could have expected this 2 months ago when Butler was struggling. But they are here nonetheless, and people are excited.
Honestly, I don’t think many people expected UCONN to be playing tonight, either. They didn’t exactly light up the Big East this season, but nobody really did. The biggest positive for UCONN all season has been Kemba Walker. Dude is definitely the best player in the country, and he’s been proving it over the last few weeks.
As far tonight goes, I’m rooting for Butler, but I’m picking UCONN. For one thing, I think they’re a better team. But I’ve also been picking against Butler the entire tournament, so why not keep it up and hope that string of mis-picks continues!
Last year’s Cinderella is making some waves again this year. And just like last year, I pick them to lose every round. I always think, “They’ve had a good run, but it comes to an end now.” And every time they prove me wrong. So, you’re welcome Butler fans because I’m picking against you again. See you in the Elite Eight.
Do you think BYU just hates playing in New Orleans? I’m sure there is some conspiracy theorist out there on the interwebs that thinks the NCAA did this on purpose to make sure the Cougars don’t make it to the Final Four. God I love a good conspiracy theory!
NCAA Tourney Play-In Game Cheerleader Preview - Texas-San Antonio v. Alabama State
Another game matching a pair of 16 seeds that nobody outside of San Antonio and a small corner of Alabama actually care about. Hell, Alabama State is 17-17 on the season. There really is no point getting too excited about this game at all.
