Well the devil’s shocked//Closed

@lilahemorgan

Liliah had been avoiding Lucifer for a few weeks which was strange because he’d been doing his best to be in a committed relationship with her. Of course barring the known facts he naturally just flirts and such with people. But he was being rather steady with her. Maybe it was just strange cause he was the devil after all and it wasn’t like he was the regular ‘oh yeah I’m dating somebody’. Far more complicated.

Maze had noticed his moping and proceeded to drag him to the club and tell him to at least do something. So he was downing probably an awful lot of coffee while going through some papers and such. When his phone went off he paused glancing over at a text alert.

Standing up and stretching he grabbed it and saw it was Lilah he grinned but then stared at the question posed. Asking if they could talk that made Lucifer uneasy which wasn’t normal for him. He replied back telling her to drop by the empty club since that’s where he was.

Finishing up the papers just as she arrived he smiled at her,”Sorry could’ve met elsewhere but kind of was told if I didn’t do some club business I’d wind up getting a nice punch across the face.” He grinned at her,”Anyways what do you want to talk about I mean avoiding me obviously but like why.”

Cross Sea: When Two Waves Meet

This strange pattern at sea is what happens when two wave systems cross each other at nearly perpendicular angles. This can occur when waves generated by one weather system collides with waves generated by another weather system, usually at a place that is far away from both weather systems.

Monday 8:27am
I woke up with you on my mind.
You called me babe last night —
my heart is still pounding.

Tuesday 10:53pm
Today I realized we won’t work.
What we are is hurting her.
And I think she matters more to me than you do.

Wednesday 11:52pm
I broke things off with you today.
She barely said a word.
I’ve never regretted anything more than this.

Thursday 4:03pm
I shouldn’t have sent that message.
You shouldn’t have been so okay with receiving it.

Friday 9:57pm
I almost messaged you today.
I didn’t.

Saturday 8:49pm
I’m walking around town in search of alcohol.
They say that liquor numbs the pain of having a broken heart.
I want to put that to the test.

Sunday 2:32am
I heard you texted a girl you’ve never spoken to before.
I wonder if it’s because you’re trying to replace me.
I can’t help but wish you weren’t.
I thought I was irreplaceable.

In an experiment, two ravens had to simultaneously pull the two ends of one rope to slide a platform with two pieces of cheese into reach. If only one of them pulled, the rope would slip through the loops, leaving them with no cheese. Without any training they solved the task and cooperated successfully.

However, when one of the two birds cheated and stole the reward of its companion, the victims of such cheats immediately noticed and started defecting in further trials with the same individual.

“Such a sophisticated way of keeping your partner in check has previously only been shown in humans and chimpanzees, and is a complete novelty among birds.”

This is all true! More fun polychaete facts:

1. In some species, the female epitoke eats the male epitoke, then explodes, spraying fertilized eggs everywhere.
2. Some human cultures harvest epitoke swarms and eat them raw or fried.
3. There are over 10,000 species of polychaete worms! Only some of them perform epitoky like this. Some are even weirder.

I think since Rahggi is like a trollsona and therefore an alternate version of me, then her dancestor would just be…myself? This is an accurate representation of what it’s like to hang out with me in real life, except that this conversation would continue for literal hours. Sorry, you asked me about my OC and now you learned about epitoky, sucker!
