Six of the 7-15,000 shots in “I Want a Best Friend” (Andrew Infante and lots, 2016). I can’t quite draw up a totality to the intense montage (which is similar but even more fragmentary and varied than 88:88) but that’s not really the point. Hyper-compressed and obsessive about the image.
A friend recently said that the best movies are about watching movies. I think that applies here.
My favorite segment is Alexa Harrington’s, which is the best “desktop” film I’ve seen yet. Really begs what reflexive images are when we live our important moments through screens.
