It is going to be a lovely way of getting to know each-other in a really personal setting (because we are keeping the group small) and get really individualized support no matter which level you are at! It is also a really wonderful way to build a sense of trusting community in what can sometimes feel like a lonely, still toxic, world. We want to change that!

I hope to work with you soon!

With love and support,

Juicing and finding the Right Juicer

I’ve been receiving a lot of emails and fb messages about juicing lately and I watch to send a shout out to all who are starting 2014 with a healthy start!

For those who are interested in getting started with the process, buying a juice extractor can seem like a daunting task.  There are many fancy expensive juice extractors such as the Vitamix Pro Series or the Breville Juice Fountain Elite however I find that for the beginner, a small cheap juicer that is easy to clean is the best way to go.

I personally began using a Black and Decker Juice Extractor when I first started making my own juice and found it to be worth every penny.  I purchased it for approximately $30 and still have it to this day.  It works well to make two servings of juice and is dishwasher safe.

Following the guidelines set in Natalia Rose’s book The Raw Food Detox Diet, I was well on my way with everything that I needed when I first starting the juicing process.  She had an array of recipes that I could use and even a cookbook that offered more options.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to send them my way!  We can all learn from each other!

Day 23 of 100 days of Indulgence: Last night’s salad (before I added plenty of baby spinach and pea shoots): avocado, carrot, raw bi color corn (sooo sweet!), tomatoes, cucs, steamed heirloom eggplant, parsley and cilantro with lemon juice and a bit of pure stevia. A taste of summer. #raw #rawfood #cleanse #detox #extremelygreendetox #nataliarose #eatclean #eatsimply #healththroughindulgence #100daysofindulgence #health #happiness #local #organic

Tonight’s #dinner was an oil and vinegar free spin on Doris Choi’s Simple #Wakame #Salad: baby #spinach, #cucumber, #wakame (soaked, drained, and patted dry with a paper towel) #scallions, minced #garlic and #ginger with the juice of 1 #lemon and 1#lime! A bit if toasted sesame oil would have been perfect but I’m experimenting with oil free salads for the upcoming Extremely Green Detox in July! #detox #cleanse #raw #vegan #organic #eatclean #nataliarose #dorischoi
