Part 11: In which a really bizarre custody battle ensues.
Content Warnings: Garp.
Gramps looked worse than Ace could remember. He had a big ol’ knot on his head, bigger than the ones Ace and Sabo and Luffy usually ended up with whenever he came calling, and his knuckles were busted up like he’d been hitting stuff way harder than rock. And being hit back, too. On the other hand, while Kei’s clothes had some blood on her and dirt and two missing sleeves and stuff, she didn’t really look hurt. Not like anyone else would after fighting Gramps.
HATING ON A SERIES BECAUSE OF A SHIP NOT BEING CANONIZED IS REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY STUPID!
At least give the creators and writers a break. People bashing the crew behind your (former) favorite series is really annoying it makes me sick. There are things you enjoyed besides your ships.
I dislike Cheerimac and Fluttercord, but that doesn’t mean I would hate MLP: Friendship Is Magic.
I dislike Dipcifica but that doesn’t mean I hate Gravity Falls.
I was dissapointed that IchiRuki and Ishihime didn’t happen but I ain’t even mad at the ending tho, even if it has a lot of flaws and personality wise, it reminded me of Naruto, which i prefer the latter’s ending over the former, But i don’t hate it either, It was ok.
I dislike Gwuncan, but I wouldn’t dislike Total Drama as a whole. (Hell, I used to hate Gwen because I thought she destroyed Duncney, until I realized the executives meddled it because of the “kids show” bullshit, when TD as a whole doesn’t look like it’s for kids due to nudity and bad words. I still consider World Tour the worst season tho.)
Why should you hate a series because of your ship not being set in stone or your NOTP being canonized? It’s stupid as fuck and it needs to stop.
Part 8: In which everyone is confused, killing intent backwash is a thing, and Isobu is a Squirtle.
Content warnings: Coarse language, death threats.
In the months since he met her, Sabo had never seen Fū look so afraid. She didn’t shake like that even when confronting the Lord of the Forest or brainstorming with them on how to take on Gramps for the next round. She smiled like Luffy did, all bright sunshine and blue seas on a cloudless day. She didn’t even seem afraid of Bluejam, or of his father, and Sabo had found himself expecting her to stay solid even when the situation changed over and over again.
New Header for the yahoo201027 Twitter Account…it’s the same, showing the shows I’m currently live blogging, except JoJo’s and One Piece are out (FOR NOW). Adding Attack on Titan and Star Vs. So I guess the jig is up.
Part 3: Wherein two shōnen protagonists meet, and first impressions take more than one POV.
Luffy pulled off the bandages that had been stuck to his arms, pulling at the new skin and watching it stretch. Yep, he was back to normal! It might’ve taken a bit longer than the other times he’d chased after Ace, but a week after Porchemy and he was back to full strength.
