24 Hours in Japan

Making my way to India has been an enlightening journey. My flight was delayed 24 hours at the Narita airport just outside of Tokyo,Japan. I was blessed to be taken in by a local family that I was meeting for the first time. It was such a pleasure getting to spend time with these two beautiful souls they provided exceptional insight into japan and it’s culture. My host family was kind enough to show me around Narita while I was waiting for my connecting flight to Bangkok. We visited the Chiba Prefectural Boso-No- Mura, a museum dedicated to the preservation and education of Narita’s traditional history. We also visited the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, a great example of Japan’s ornate architecture and culture heritage. I had such an amazing time sightseeing, eating ethnic foods, enjoying Japanese green tea, and many discussions of different cultures and customs. Though my visit was short Japan has left a lasting impression on my soul and I look forward to visiting again soon!
