The Earth is going through a time of crisis. People politely call it “climate change.” But what I’ve come to understand is that it’s not just a physical crisis, it’s a spiritual crisis. The ancients always understood that the Earth is a living spiritual being. Just as we have a soul, the Earth has a soul, what they called the anima mundi. The Earth is calling to us and needs our attention. This is a moment in the destiny of the Earth.”

It is not only a claim, to say ‘I love Allah.’ It is not finished. You must also ask if Allah loves you or not, and what is the sign? Allah Almighty is saying; Say, O my Beloved Servant, Most Distinguished Prophet ﷺ, tell them if you are true in (your claim) that you love Allah, then follow me - 'fa-ttabi’ūnī’ - and Allah Almighty will love you. (3:31)

If anyone leaves out Sayyidina Muḥammad ﷺ Habib-ullah, and takes a way according to his mind, his desires, no love from Allah to him. That is the condition. You must follow the Beloved of Allah ﷺ, and Allah has promised, then He will love you. That is a mirror to you, look and see; don’t be in doubt if Allah loves you or not - look in the mirror and you will know. Even the Sahaba (may Allah be pleased with them) were so careful to step where the Prophet ﷺ stepped! How should other actions be for them? Every action, every movement that is opposite to Prophet's ﷺ actions is thrown away. ’Man ḥamala ’alaynā as-silāḥ fa-laysa minnā.’ (He who carries a weapon against us is not one of us.) That is a ḥadīth from the Prophet ﷺ. Shooting is not only by bullets and arrows; anything that you are pulling against the Prophet's ﷺ advice means you are fighting against him.

Twelve Good Characteristics in Dogs

Our Grandshaykh said, “There are twelve good characters in dogs that you may also find in prophets and saints.  They are:

They do not forget those who have done goodness to them.

They are patient and always grateful for everything that they are given.

They are not angry with their owners, even if they are beaten and sent away.

If their owners call, they return with their tails wagging.

They are humble.

They are obedient.

They are truthful.

They are trustworthy, and make good friends.

They are loyal, always remaining with their owners and never turning traitor.

They are satisfied with small things; they are zahid, not looking to anything from this dunya.

They have nothing from this world, they have no place for themselves. They may sleep anywhere, and if someone throws stones at them, they quickly get up and go somewhere else.

They are very light sleepers, not sleeping too much, and they awaken quickly.

These twelve attributes belong to prophets and saints.  If one possesses them, he is a wali (saint).”

15th of Rajab marks the Wisaal of Hadhrat Imam Jafar As Saadiq. They are the great-great-grandson of the Beloved Prophet and also a great-grandson of Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RadhiAllah Anhum)
Their status was such that they would narrate hadith to their contemporaries including Imam Malik, Imam e Azam Abu Hanifa and Imam Sufyan al-Thawri, (May Allah Almighty be pleased with them).

[…] After they enter into tariqah and take bay'ah with a shaykh, spiritual support comes to them and they may find it easier (to do dhikr, wake up for fajr etc.) Before they would really struggle but now the struggle is only a little, and easy. But now you start doing it over and over again; what happens when you do something over and over again? Like a robot, like a routine. Why does it become a routine? Because you are not sitting and thinking. You are not making tafakkur (reflection). You are not meditating. You are not understanding. Understanding is not just to see why you are standing in a certain way (e.g. in salaah) and knowing what to recite, and what the meanings are according to which scholar. Understanding is not only that. It is when you are making ruku’ and going into sajdah, and from your Shaykh’s words, you know that these are the actions of the Angels; and you say ‘Subhaan-Allah, how Allah has blessed me.. to make me carry out the actions of an angel.’ So once you start thinking, your actions become more beloved to you, and more beloved to Allah. It is no longer a routine. Then you begin to understand more things. The more you begin doing things properly & with sincerity, the more it gets valuable, the more you are going to be happy with your Lord.. that even when there are times where you feel weak & it becomes like a routine, you catch yourself & you say 'astaghfirullah ya Rabbi’. So you are always constantly remembering Allah. You remember Allah when you are doing good, and you remember Allah when you are doing not so good. That’s the whole point, to remember Allah. […]
