Craving some summer Sun? We’re inviting people around the world to submit their names to be placed on a microchip that will travel to the Sun aboard Parker Solar Probe!

Launching summer 2018, Parker Solar Probe will be our first mission to “touch” a star. The spacecraft - about the size of a small car - will travel right through the Sun’s atmosphere, facing brutal temperatures and radiation as it traces how energy and heat move through the solar corona and explores what accelerates the solar wind and solar energetic particles.

Send your name along for the ride at! Submissions will be accepted through April 27, 2018.

This, then, is what I have to say about the people who inhabit the dominion of Narbonitis, whom the men of former times named ‘Celtae’. It was from the Celtae, I think, that the Galatae as a whole were by the Greeks called 'Celti’ - on account of the fame of the Caltae, or it may also be that the Massiliotes, as well as other Greek neighbours, contributed to this result, on account of their proximity.

Imagine if irelia instead of saying "once an Ionian, always an Ionian, you'll never be one of them" to xin zhao, she says to kayn "Once a Noxian, Always a Noxian. You'll never be one of us."

I so wish Riot did these things more often!
Though I imagine Kayn would be furious (secretly hurt, more than anything). Being reminded he is a Noxian ties him directly to his past, to the idea of ‘weakness’.

He has some quotes concerning this:
“Noxian strength is a lie”
“No mercy! Right, Noxian?”

“Strength is not enough.” (upon killing a Noxian as the Shadow Assassin)
“Die, Noxian!“  (Attacking a Noxian as the Shadow Assassin)

“Your kind go no further!” (taunt)

He calls them Noxians, he refers to them as ‘your kind’. I believe it is quite clear he doesn’t identify himself as one of them. It was also mentioned in the Kayn AMA on Reddit Shieda Kayn is not his name.
Also, it is noticeable how these quotes belong to Kayn and not to Rhaast. The darkin is indifferent even if he was buried beneath Noxian territory.

I feel he has forsaken his identity and heritage completely, adopting a new name, dressed in Ionian clothes, his hatred towards the Empire.

Being reminded that is an illusion, a mask he has donned to embrace a new form of strength (Zed’s teachings), would infuriate him, would hurt him more than any other insult. Even more in the lips of another Ionian fighter.

Those mere words would threaten his identity, as they would confront him with who he truly is, instead of who he believes he has become.

PS: the Noxian eyebrows are there. Ask Swain.

–you might logically assume the thing I want to draw attention to–

–is that beautiful expression.

Well, nope.

What I really find fascinating is that some background artist needing to make up tombstone people…

…and the names they went with were “Hary Brons”

and “Elcon Dired.”

Anagrams, or just bored animators? You decide!

“I’m like you,’ he said. ‘I remember everything.’

I stopped for a second. If you remember everything, I wanted to say, and if you are really like me, then before you leave tomorrow, or when you’re just ready to shut the door of the taxi and have already said goodbye to everyone else and there’s not a thing left to say in this life, then, just this once, turn to me, even in jest, or as an afterthought, which would have meant everything to me when we were together, and, as you did back then, look me in the face, hold my gaze, and call me by your name

Not sure if you really like the name you’ve chosen for yourself?

Use it when the barista at Starbucks asks for your name.

This is what I recommend to any trans*/nb person (or just anyone who wants to change their name).

The biggest problem for me when changing my name was it felt like I was betraying my parents. It felt wrong at first, because my parents had chosen my other name, and now here I was replacing it. Of course, a few friends of mine used my new name, but it just felt like a nickname.

So one day I gave the name Ashton to the barista. I was with some friends who don’t know about my gender identity, so I got a weird look, but it didn’t even come up in conversation later. That was the first huge sigh of relief. The second came when the barista called out my drink. I got up and took it like usual, but then I stopped. It didn’t even cross my mind that that wasn’t the name I was used to hearing. It just felt natural.

So if you’re unsure about your preferred name, treat yourself to some Starbucks.

(NOTE: This can apply to anyone who wants to change their name, they don’t have to be a member of the LGBTQA+ community)

thought about this many times…

Anyway, it took about 3 nights. And in that that time many things have been happening. I cried, my birthday came, I cried, I laughed, but today mostly, on my birthday I cried. You do not have to worry though… (not like anyone would even notice the text.) But yeah I hope you like this comic!
