1.) take a nap; sleep is good for the soul, and it’s a way better idea than doing something destructive. 2.) make some tea, or coffee, or whatever your favorite is today. 3.) go see a friend, even if you don’t feel like it… we are so lucky to have people in our lives that care. 4.) have a one person dance party. 5.) go through your closet. try on different outfits. (optional: take a ridiculous amount of selfies.) 6.) going off of the last point: dress up. feel cute. be extra. 7.) watch your favorite old movies. 8.) take yourself out on a date. 9.) let’s be real here; let yourself cry it out. 10.) accept that even though you may not be 100% okay right now, you believe in yourself enough to work towards it. be proud of yourself for feeling.
Happy Saturday, studyblr babes! This past week was about springtime, new opportunities, and acceptance. Here’s what I’ve learned: we are all build-in with issues and faults and that’s just the way it is. Everyone is going through something else. Give yourself a break. Stop beating yourself up for being human. The sun will always rise tomorrow.
Now Playing (aka two songs that got me through all the shit I was going through this week):

The Griffin-Woods family seemingly has the perfect life, at least until Lexa’s (over?)zealousness as NYC’s top young prosecutor means she starts making some very dangerous enemies whose only goal is to remove her from the equation. By any means necessary.
Quite a few readers have been asking for more college years/early relationship chapters. A lot of people have also been requesting more social media posts. Since the fic crossed the 10,000 hit mark I figured I could kill two birds with one stone and did a social media about their college years.
This picks up right after Chapter 11 (December 2009) and it jumps forward a month or month and a half towards the end.
Happy Saturday! It’s finally spring break around here and I couldn’t be happier… no school for a whole week! On another note, I saw Beauty and the Beast twice this week and cried both times. Sorry not sorry.
I was gonna make a masterpost for Filipino/Tagalog but there’s not a lot of resources online so I decided to make graphics here instead! I’ll make more in the future but here are just some common words/phrases in the language. Filipino has a lot of borrowed words from Spanish and English due to colonialism and most of the time it’s difficult to say a complete sentence in Filipino alone because English words are deeply mixed into the language, hence Taglish. It’s a norm to switch between English and Filipino midsentence or even midword. There’s no Filipino translation for hi/hello so we just use them instead. We also use English phrases like ‘happy birthday’ and ‘excuse me’ more commonly than their Filipino translations. I lived in the Philippines for 12 years and I’m fluent so if you guys are learning Filipino or have any questions feel free to approach me!
