hi, i was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how you get a solid background color in your gifs like this /post/145356644942

hey, anon! i planned on working on a tutorial for you but i feel like it’d be easier to just give you a psd. but to answer your question, how i accomplish that is by choosing a scene that isn’t too busy, adding a color fill layer beneath my base and setting it to darken then brushing over the gif. i’m really not the best at explaining so here you go.

i actually had to remake it, so it isn’t the exact same but it’s pretty similar. you can download it here. please like or reblog if you choose to. thank youuu!

hi what psds did you use for your series 1/2/4 and 5 dw series gifset edits?

all four colorings were made by myself but I lost all the data on my mac a month ago so I don’t have the s1 and s2 psd now. I do have the s4 and s5 psd. i made some changes on different scenes of a set but i only saved one psd per set.

reblog/like if you download. don’t claim as your own. adjust or add some layers if necessary.

.psd OO4 by allscallie.

PAY ATTENTION: so this new .psd is like a “blue or green” psd. It fits better with photos with blue or green details, but I left you a level outside the group psd so you can decide which of the two colors you wanna hightlight.
If you download (x) it please reblog or like the post!
don’t claim as your own & do not repost.
hope yu like it. xx
