House Greyjoy of Pyke is one of the Great Houses of Westeros. It rules over the Iron Islands, a harsh and bleak collection of islands off the west coast of Westeros, from the castle at Pyke. They are considered sons of the Sea Wind and are excellent tradesmen. They are known for their able body and stubbornness.
I’m going to call it now, Infinite from Sonic Forces is actually that unidentified power gem that Eggman discovered and uses throughout the majority of Sonic Mania to warp Sonic and company all throughout time and space. My proof for this is in that
the gem lines up with what Sega has already told us about the current plot for Sonic forces about Eggman finding a new power source that allows him to take over perhaps one with “infinite” power?
2.This would explain why Infinite knows Sonic but Sonic doesn’t seem to know him as well as Chaos, Zavok, Metal Sonic and especially Shadow’s appearance as villains, maybe they were all plucked from a timeline in which they were still enemies of Sonic. kinda sounds a bit far-fetched I know but at the end of Mania both Sonic and the gem are transported to Modern Sonic’s timeline at the true ending of Mania so perhaps this is just how the gem materialized in the new environment.
And 3. The most simple but damning bit of proof I’d like to propose is that at the very end of the Enter Infinite trailer released by Sega, just before infinite fires off all the cubes at the end of the trailer listen closely to the sound it makes…Yup! That’s the EXACT same sound the stone makes whenever Eggman begins to use it. And if that’s not more proof I don’t know what is.
Boom! Infinite mystery solved! Or so I think lol we still have a while before the game is out so maybe I’m wrong who knows but you can’t say it isn’t substantial.
