I think so far, we can be very happy about the cast for #Shadowhunters!! Of course many fans are upset, because they have a different imagination of their favorite characters. But honestly, you can’t judge actors if you never saw them acting. I, for myself I’m happy with the cast so far. And besides Dominic, I didn’t saw  Emeraude or Alberto acting before. So it’s a new world for my fangirl life as well. We should give them a chance. I’m sure they will present our favorite characters just the way we like it!! ;)

And YES, I’m waiting impatiently for Alec to be cast, not to mention Magnus as well. My fav OTP has high expectations and I guess I’m not the only one. But I have faith in our casting directors to make all Malec fans happy!!!

There are some people - people the universe seems to have singled out for special destinies. Special favors and special torments. God knows we’re all drawn toward what’s beautiful and broken; I have been, but some people cannot be fixed. Or if they can be, it’s only by love and sacrifice so great that it destroys the giver.

‘Mortal Instruments’ TV Series A Go With Ed Decter As Showrunner

News of Constantin Film’s desire to keep its Mortal Instruments franchise going first filtered out at Mipcom. Today comes official word that the company will spin off its 2013 feature film hit The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones into a TV series with writer/exec producer Ed Decter, whose TV credits include CBS’ recently re-cancelled Unforgettable, Lifetime’s The Client List and USA Network’s In Plain Sight.

“Ed Decter brings a tremendous track record to the table,” said Robert Kulzer, co-president of Constantin Film in LA and one of the original film’s producers. “As a showrunner we wanted someone who shares our passion and love for these characters and stories, and Ed has a remarkable ability to form narratives.”

Based on Cassandra Clare’s bestselling YA book series, the series will reboot the chronicle of the Shadowhunters led by Clary Fray and Jace Wayland in one-hour episodes beginning with the first book, City Of Bones, and expanding into later books as the series progresses.
