my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

Manchester, I was there when Louis and Niall played at the Soccer Aid and the thought that something like this might have happened that day too breaks my heart and terrifies me. I can’t believe this is the world we live in now where you can go to a concert to have the time of your life and find yourself to face death the same night. My thoughts and prayer are with you and Ariana. I love Ariana, I love her music, I wished I could have gone to one of her concerts in England. It’s not your fault girl, we love you. All the love to the families and the people who were there or lost someone last night. ❤️

By Helen Pidd

There has been an explosion in Manchester Arena tonight (22/05/17). Current reports are that 19 are confirmed dead, and at least 50 injured. It is being treated as a suspected terrorist act.

My thoughts are with the victims and their families. And with my colleagues; the emergency services working through the night to keep people safe and keep them alive. Dear colleagues, may your hearts stay strong, and your hands never falter. May your mind stay clear. May your pain be soothed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

If you believe in good thoughts or prayers, share one for them.

@BrettDalton : So sad to hear of the passing of Powers Boothe. You were more than a costar, you were my friend. My thoughts & prayers are with your family‬

Even by Roman Reigns’ standards, the last two weeks have been almost unbearably difficult. Not only did the former WWE Champion suffer a brutal attack at the hands of Braun Strowman, he suffered the loss of his brother, Matt “Rosey” Anoa’i. Despite this, however, Reigns will still compete against Strowman at WWE Payback this Sunday, and he spoke with WWE.com to discuss the well-wishes he’s received, how his family is holding up and whether he thinks he’s up to facing The Monster Among Men this Sunday at all.

WWE.COM: It’s been a tough two weeks for you personally and professionally. On the personal side, WWE.com sends its condolences to your family. How are you doing and how is everyone else doing?

ROMAN REIGNS: Right now, it’s one of those situations where it’s a lot of mixed feelings. When you live in a big family, it’s always great to be able to come together, but to have to come together to send off a brother — and not only was he my brother, but in our family, even when you’re cousins, we’re all so close that we feel like brothers. That’s the type of connection we have in our family. It was an extremely sad weekend, and it’s still really tough. Everybody’s grieving. But to see our family come together and have a hundred-plus family and friends come together to celebrate my brother’s life really meant a lot. It just continually picks up our family and keeps us moving on.

WWE.COM: Obviously, as you just stated, you have your family around you. Can you talk about some of the support you’ve received from the WWE Universe and other Superstars during this time?

REIGNS: It’s crazy because it almost felt like Christmas times three. I don’t think I’ve ever received so many text messages from family and friends, especially within the company. So many guys in our locker room have reached out to me and sent their condolences and told me if there’s anything I need, don’t hesitate. I truly believe that. And talking to some of my family, that’s not just a saying. That’s real life. They want to do anything they can, whether it’s sending flowers, checking on me to try and talk, try and get down here to help out with any different thing we have to do with the services of a funeral. It’s really nice to be able to hear from all them. And, of course, through your social media, and Twitter is my main source of that, I’ve been overwhelmed with so many prayers and so many thoughts out there by my fans in the WWE Universe. Whether you’re a Roman Reigns supporter or a critic, everybody seems to understand the magnitude of the situation, and when it comes down to it, it’s a part of life but I think everybody gets it. Everybody’s been very sweet and really come to try and help me through this hard time. It really has helped.

WWE.COM: Well, once again, we’d like to reiterate our sentiment. We wish your family the best during this hard time.

REIGNS: Thank you. I just want to thank everybody who’s reached out. All my fans, everybody has been so supportive. This is a tough time but like everything in life we can learn from it and get better from it. My only hope now is that I can continue to represent my family and represent my brother and continue to push our legacy. He was my number one fan. He never missed a match, he never missed anything I did in the ring, he always had great advice for me and always reached out to talk. Payback and 2017 and any chance I get to go in that ring I’m representing him.

WWE.COM: Speaking of which, last time we saw you on Monday Night Raw was the incident at the hands of Braun Strowman with the ambulance. How are you feeling as you recuperate from that attack?

REIGNS: Physically, I’m as beat up as I am emotionally. This has been two of the roughest weeks of my professional career and life. I’ve never experienced a loss this close since it’s my only blood brother, but I’ve also never experienced a beatdown like Braun Strowman gave me. It’s unfortunate, because whatever point he’s trying to get across, he’s handling it the wrong way. And whether he thinks he’s a monster or not, I’m the top dog, I’m the big dog in this yard. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I already took out the greatest legend of all time. If anybody should be worried, it should be Braun Strowman. He’s got a whole storm that’s about to come his way.

WWE.COM: It was obviously announced that you will still face Braun Strowman at WWE Payback. Are you up to the challenge to face him on Sunday?

REIGNS: I’m beaten, I’m bruised, I’m hurt inside, but it comes down to the big fight. That’s what I do. When I step in that ring and my opponent steps in that ring and that bell goes ding, ding, I’m the one that holds it down. I’m the one that shows it’s my yard. I don’t have to jump people in the backstage, I don’t have to blindside people, I’ll face Braun eye-to-eye and put Braun down where he belongs because I’m the best in the WWE, I’m the best in the whole world, and at Payback this Sunday, I’ll show it.

Hey everyone.

So it’s like 1AM, but I just wanted to update y'all on a situation.

Our pastor’s wife passed away.

It’s sad and our hearts are heavy, but she’s out of cancer’s grasp for good.

When we visited her on Sunday, God told my mother to tell her that He had a place for her at His table, so we knew she wasn’t going to recover. But it was a great consolation knowing that her new home was already prepared for her. Eighty years after accepting Jesus into her heart, she’s finally with Him today.

Please keep her family and our church family in your thoughts and prayers these next few days. And thank you for all the thoughts and prayers you already spared!

Love you guys.

Prayer Request

I don’t know all the details yet, but my mom just came in and broke the news to me. Her brother (my uncle) is currently getting a plane ticket to Italy to pick up my aunt, because it turns out her husband has been having an affair, and their marriage is now officially over. This is a HUGE shock to me, as I always thought he was one of the sweetest guys ever, and we all thought he adored my aunt.

But now she’s coming back to the states with her dog, and I’m sure she’s completely heart broken. She’s prone to depression, and is incredibly sensitive and I can’t even fathom how hard this must be for her. I’m personally crushed, and am in disbelief. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but please, please, if you could keep her and my family in your prayers, that would be wonderful.

one of the first stories we ever really covered on outsider was of Rizwan Haider, a young Pakistani shia Muslim who was facing 13 years for saying something derogatory to Sunni Muslims and I just received the most incredible news from his lawyer:

HES BEEN ACQUITTED OF ALL CHARGES AND IS BACK WITH HIS FAMILY.

Like I’m literally crying in my room because only in Shaban could something so good and unlikely happen to a poor shia Muslim family in Pakistan.

Thank you to everyone who read his story and took a second to keep him in your thoughts and prayers–Rizwan is free today and has his whole life to look forward to!!!!

It’s been a long rollercoaster of a week. My physical recovery from surgery has gone really well so far, and I was discharged Wednesday night! Improvement is slow but it’s steady. There’s been a lot of information given to us within the last few days, but to make a long story short, the doctors are confident at this point that I am clear of cancer and they are putting me on a six month chemotherapy regiment to reduce my chances of anything returning.

I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, we are so appreciative of your support. We’ve been launched into this journey so suddenly and although it’s far from over, we are so blessed to have friends and family by our sides.

FanFic: Big News

As Riley walks around the table kissing their parents hello, she apologizes for their late arrival and explains that Lucas would be along shortly… He was still parking the car. Riley had just settled into her chair, when Lucas came in bearing gifts. He too made his way around the table kissing everyone hello & just to tweak Cory a bit, he gave his wife an exaggerated kiss hello.

An urgent prayer request

Hey everyone.

I logged on just to ask for prayers. My father is having surgery on his knee tomorrow morning and my family is worried since he has a heart condition. If you’re the praying type, I would really appreciate if you would offer some prayers for my father and my family. If you’re not, then please keep us in your thoughts and/or send good vibes our way.

Thank you in advance. God bless you 💕

Updates

A while back really like a month ago but I gotta be a bit dramatic sometimes, I asked everyone for good thoughts and vibes and prayers. I commuted 5hrs a day, rarely saw my family and have little to no energy to do the things I loved or go on adventures with friends. My quality of life was in the can.

Yesterday, I was offered and accepted a job in one of my dream fields, for one of the best companies in said field, at one of the most celebrated places in said field. It’s more money AND 10mins away from my house!!

So thank you to any and all of you who spared an itty bit of your positiveity with me. Words can’t express how much I appreciate it!

Please keep my youngest sister in your prayers, or please send positive thoughts. There’s some psycho in Cleveland who’s going around shooting random people. She’s currently hiding in her bedroom with her best friend. She told us they believe he is on her street. I know I read he was headed towards her school. Keep everyone in the city of Cleveland in your thoughts today if you can. As for my friends and family who live there still, I love you and I’m praying for you.

My heart hurts to hear about what happened in Manchester. Even if you’re not the praying type, please please please keep Ariana, her fans, and the victims and their families in your thoughts and prayers. I’m sending all the love I can to everyone affected by the events of tonight.

Right now, I think we could all use some love. <3 <3 <3

Can you guys do me a small favor?

If i’m out of sorts lately it’s cause I’m very close to my grandpa and he’s going to the hospital.. Can you guys keep my family in your thoughts/prayers? That would be appreciated. I’ll be up all night if any of you wanna chat about life :) I have a discord server too so we can voice ! I have some time since I’m just taking care of his house for him. :)

Thanks. <3 you guys just wow my mind.

Concerts are suppose to be a safe place. Concerts help you let go of your troubles just for a few hours and now someone decided to ruin what they were meant for. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and the victims tonight. Stay safe everyone 💕

How to Make a Prayer Jar!

I just did this today and had a great experience with it and I’d thought I’d share for anyone who might want to make one.

Prayer jars go great on an altar or work place and can keep you connected to your family and loved ones.  Draw a name and send love and good intentions to anyone who might be needing it!

You will need:

  • a jar
  • something to write names on (i used coffee stirrers, but you can use whatever you want)
  • anything to decorate your jar with!

This was a really basic/loose-ended thing I did, because I prefer to go with the flow when it comes to magick and energy work, but you can make it as structured and formal an event as you want, write your own words, etcetera.

Cleanse your jar however you choose.  For this one I just washed it in the sink because it had some leftover tea in it >.< and said a quick prayer to cast out any lingering energy.

Write out the names of your friends and loved ones onto the coffee sticks or pieces of paper.  Set them aside, we’ll put them in later!

Now it’s time to decorate your jar.  Do whatever is meaningful to you–your jar is full of your intention and is therefore completely unique!  I used some craft supplies I had lying around to spruce it up a little bit and match the aesthetic of my tiny little dorm-room altar.  Fill the base of your jar with something you think will help guide your hand to whoever needs your prayer.  I used some pretty fabric and a mixture of amethyst and moonstone chips and other crystal pieces I had with no other current use.  Ask their energies to help cradle your jar and guide your hand at the proper moment.

At this point I said another quick prayer over my jar and raised my energy as much as I could, charging it with my love.  Then I went to the names and began putting them into my jar one by one, saying,

“(Name), I am praying for you.”

Try to go in no particular order so the names get shuffled around a bit.  This part became a much more spiritual experience than I was anticipating.  Don’t be surprised if your emotions and memories surrounding the people begin to stir up.  Enjoy the experience and whatever happens, take it as a sign your prayers will be meaningful!

After all the names were in, I said ONE MORE prayer for my jar and just rested in the love that I felt pouring into the room.  I tried to direct as much as possible into my jar.  After this experience, my vibration skyrocketed.  I felt energized, and also full of happiness, peace, and unconditional love.  I hope you have a similar experience while making your jar!

Place it somewhere your family and friends will be in your thoughts.  Whenever you’re feeling like it, draw a name and meditate on the person and what they might be going through.  Send them your love and whatever else you think they might need for a little energy boost.  If you pray to certain deities, perhaps ask them or your guides to help you and watch over that person.

That’s all there is to it!

Blessed Be in Light and Love <3

Family Crisis

Hey I would really appreciate it if everyone could keep my family in your thoughts or prayers if you’re religious! My aunt suffered a stroke over the weekend and isn’t doing very well! She’s going to have to be in the ICU for two weeks. If you follow my twitter you’re already aware of this; but I thought I’d post it here too for anyone who would care to keep us in mind. ;; I’ll keep posting updates on my Twitter about her condition as things go on; and if anything major happens I’ll say it here too…But I’m going to keep this blog and my AC blog positive places where I can escape to in times of tragedy.

My aunt is like a second mother to me; so this has been very tough on all of us… We went and saw her last night and we’re going back again later today. She couldn’t move or speak; and they had to do brain surgery on her early Sunday morning. They’re monitoring her and making sure she suffers no more strokes and doesn’t need surgery again. She’s still very sick right now and in ICU for the next two weeks at least… So please; keep us in mind as we’re all desperately hoping for the best. None of us want to lose her; we’ve been feeling powerless and this weekend was AWFUL. I don’t know what I’ll do if I lose her… So I’m doing my best to be strong and just praying for her health.

Thank you for reading. <3 I hope everyone has a good week.
