my sisters are both older than she is so they feel weird

In case you’re wondering why I haven’t told you

It’s because of the look you gave me when you asked what the new soap I’d bought was and I hesitated before replying, “It’s called Gender Bender.” You then passive-aggressively bought me 24 new bars of soap in an assorted package, which I am not yet halfway through.

It’s because of the joke you made about “pretending to be a tranny to get a discount” in the car on the way to get haircuts one Saturday morning.

It’s because of the way I watched your face when I was talking to you in the bathroom this morning when you noticed I, your female child with short hair and a flat chest, was wearing a shirt that said, “#1 Dad” on it as a joke. I saw the look in your eyes like a warning.

It’s because of the way you asked my older sister if I was interested in that boy I brought over to play video games instead of going to prom. “He’s kind of weird,” you told her, “but I just want her to like a boy.” And when my sister, who knows, asked, “What if she doesn’t?” you replied, “I’m her mother, I’m allowed to have a preference, that’s all.”

It’s because of one of the many times I was visiting my dad in New Hampshire when he said, “Oh, when we were together, your mother hated gay people. And your grandmother can’t stand them, either.”

It’s because of the way you opened my sister’s mail and saw that she had registered herself as a democrat. A few weeks later, we were out to dinner with one of your friends, and you said, “And I’ve told Jaimie, if she’s going to register as a democrat, not to say anything. Her sister I’m not sure about, but I have confidence that Jaimie should at least wisen up before long.” And I kept quiet because you told me not to say anything.

It’s because of the day we went school shopping in the summer before ninth grade, and when I asked if I could look to buy boy’s jeans, you said, “Like it or not, you’re a woman, and you have a woman’s curves.” I still wanted boy’s jeans, but I told you I’d changed my mind. I still want boy’s jeans, but you think I changed my mind.

It’s because of the way you scrunched your nose when I told you my character in the school musical had been changed from “Kate,” who had one line, to “Ike,” who appeared in several scenes. Instead of congratulating me, you asked why they made me play a boy every year.

It’s because of the nightmares I used to have wherein my aunt, who figured it out on her own, outed me to you, and I got so scared of your response that I woke up with dust clogging my throat.

It’s because of the time my sister looked at our cat and said, “Sometimes I don’t really think of Oscar as a boy cat, he’s kinda in-between sometimes.” And you said, “Well, he is a boy cat.” And you used that tone. I have grown up with the presence of that tone settled in my gut like a rock.

It’s because of the way I sat in my room having a panic attack, huddled in front of my blasting fan because it was too hot and I couldn’t breathe, the first time I tried on my binder (the binder that I bought secretly with my own money three years ago and you still don’t know I have.) If anyone finds out, I thought, what will happen to me?

It’s because of the way I told you I wanted to try living with Dad for awhile and you broke down, wouldn’t talk to me about it, wouldn’t acknowledge that it was happening until it had, and even though I was happier there, even though I had told my dad and his girlfriend within a month of living with them, even though I was more involved with theater and didn’t hate the thought of going to school every morning because I liked this one, even though I had friends that I loved more than anyone I knew back here, in this godforsaken farm town in rural New York, you still made me feel guilty enough about leaving you that I came back anyway.

It’s because of the way that I’m out at school, that I don’t care if anyone there knows that I’m not a girl or a boy, or that I like both girls and boys, and there I’m loud, and there I’m happy, but as soon as I get home I’m quiet as a mouse because I don’t want you to talk to me because you might say something careless, and think nothing of it, but your throwaway comment, to me, is a dagger in my lungs.

It’s because of the look you gave me when I was thirteen and I told you I wanted to be a prince for Halloween.

It’s because of the way you once prefaced your indignation at something sexist with, “I’m NOT a feminist, but…”

It’s because of the way my heart spiked with panic when we were reviewing my college applications together and I realized I’d marked gender as “prefer not to respond” and quickly scrolled past it.

It’s because of what I imagine you would say if you found out that I have signed up to live in gender-neutral housing for my freshman year on campus, and that I will not let any of my roommates believe I am a girl.

And if you’re wondering why I haven’t let you read anything I’ve written, it’s because my writing is deeply personal to me, and I don’t want you to know any of my secrets. I don’t want you to know what I think about the world because I know you would disagree and tell me so. I don’t want you to know what I think love should be because you would only be cynical and try to tell me about the real world. I don’t want you to read about my queer heroes because these characters and their stories are important to me, and I feel like if I let you touch them, it would ruin them for me.

It’s because I remember all of these things every time I get close to you.

It’s because I break my own heart thinking about how much I want to love you, but can’t.

If you’re wondering why I haven’t told you I’m queer, and why I never will, it’s because I don’t trust you. And when I start my own life, and I live on my own, I will not care who knows, and I will not care if you find out, because once I am out, I will be far away, and I won’t have to see that look on your face ever again.

Professor!Dean Winchester x Reader AU

Summary: A few years after being accepted into your dream college, everything’s going well. Your grades are good, your social life is booming, all your assignments are easy…  Except for the damn essay that Professor Winchester assigned you. Based off this request.

‘Similar to the effects of the mythical creature the basilisk, Medusa…”

You groan out as you sit at your kitchen table, your fingertips typing away at your laptop in an attempt to start the introduction paragraph of your research essay that’s due tonight. You tend to be a procrastinator, which never works well, and more often than not leaves you immensely stressed out.

You shake your head, deleting the first sentence all together before taking a long sip of coffee. Only three hours to get the essay done. Three hours until the deadline. Damn Professor Winchester for giving you such a challenging topic.

Normally, you love his class. He’s easily one of the most laid back, chilled out professors you’ve had throughout your three years at the University of Kansas. His love for Greek Mythology is unlike anything you’ve seen before. His lectures are nothing short of interesting, as he somehow manages to make even the most minuscule of things seem like the most amazing thing in the world. The tests are hard, but as long as you pay attention and take notes in class, you’ve always been fine.

Unfortunately for you, the subject of your essay that Professor Winchester had assigned you is something that you’ve yet to go over in the class, leaving you completely clueless.

Flufflet #3 for @lifeinahole27 as a reward for writing her CSBB!

Sometime after the season 6 finale, the gang decides to look into the whole “song inside me” thing, and Blue is able to return their memories of the whole debacle.

“I can’t believe we forgot all this,” Snow said, almost whispering.

“It was necessary,” Blue said, like that explained everything, which it didn’t. But this was Blue, so it was about as good of an explanation as anyone was ever going to get.

“Yeah, well, it was a memory I could have done without,” Regina said, as though she had a bad taste in her mouth. “Me, singing and dancing like some kind of …”

"Don’t say it,” David warned.

“Disney character,” Henry finished. “I wish I could have seen it and heard it. All I have is the page here.”

“Look,” Emma said. “What matters is that all of your songs–the happy ones, the sad ones, the angry ones–all of them, that’s what I needed to keep the Black Fairy from crushing my heart. So even if you’re embarrassed now, I’m grateful.”

Snow and David smiled almost beatifically, and Regina sighed. Zelena shrugged. “I’ve nothing to be embarrassed about; I sounded fantastic.”

“Better than me?” David challenged.

“I think the Rabbit Hole does karaoke,” Snow said. “If we want to find out.”

Emma snickered at the thought of her dad and Zelena going head to head in a karaoke competition. Killian, though, was uncharacteristically silent.

Actually, he’d been quiet the whole time. She turned to look at him, but he refused to meet her gaze, staring at Blue instead. Weird.

“So, what’s wrong?” she asked as she plopped down on the bed and watched as he finished pulling on his pajamas.

“What’s that, love?”

“What’s wrong? You’ve been acting weird since Blue gave you guys your … musical memories back. Why?” She paused. “Was your song embarrassing or something?”

“No.”

“Well, I know you can’t be insecure about your singing voice. You already know I think you’ve got a sexy one.”

He chuckled. “No.”

“Well, what then? And don’t tell me you’re not upset because we both know you are.”

He sighed as he climbed into bed and pulled her into his arms. “All right, but it’s … odd, I suppose.”

“I’m the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming and I’m married to Captain Hook. My closest friends are the Evil Queen, and her sister, the Wicked Witch, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I think I’m good with odd.”

“Not sure it’s the same variety of odd, love, but fair enough.”

“Just tell me.”

“I’m trying to.” He paused. “You recall your parents and Regina discussing their musical tete-a-tete?”

“Yeah.” God, she would have paid so much money to see that.

“They showed up at the tavern I was drinking at, offered me all the gold and jewels I wanted, and asked for me to take them to Regina. I refused their payment, insisting the only thing that would satisfy me would be my revenge.”

“And by insisting, I’m assuming …”

“Aye, I may have insisted rather musically,” he admitted.

“So you’re upset because you refused?”

“No, I agreed,” he said. “They realized I wanted revenge on the Dark One and told me they had him prisoner. We struck a deal, and I brought them to Regina as requested.”

“Okay.” Was he upset that her parents had almost been complicit in him murdering Gold? That he’d brought them to Regina like they’d asked? “I don’t get what’s wrong,” she admitted.

“I–” He took a deep breath. “It’s just so strange.”

“Killian–”

“Emma, you were there.”

“I–what? No, I wasn’t.”

“Yes, you were.”

Oh. Oh.

“So you’re upset because you bumped into my mom when she was pregnant with me?”

“I’m not upset,” he corrected. “It’s just odd, isn’t it? Here I am, singing about how all I care about is revenge, and my unborn wife is right there.”

She couldn’t help it. She wished she could have, with her husband sitting next to her, clearly struggling with the whole scenario. She should have been supportive and understanding.

But she couldn’t help it. She burst out laughing.

“Oi, this isn’t funny, Swan.” The giggles would not stop. “Swan, please, you can’t tell me you don’t find this at least slightly strange!”

“Oh come on,” she said, trying to regain her breath. “Killian, you’re, like, three hundred years older than I am and that hasn’t mattered to either of us.”

“But this is different!”

“Not that different.” She burst out laughing again. “Oh my god, you, like … practically serenaded me while I was in the womb!”

“It wasn’t a serenade, and I wasn’t–love, you must stop laughing.”

“Sorry, I’m sorry!” But she couldn’t.

He sighed angrily and moved away, turning to shut off the lamp on his nightstand. “Well, good night, then.”

“Killian, come on.” Okay, it was less funny now. Still funny, obviously, but with how upset he was getting, she needed to cut it out. “Look, it’s really not that weird.”

“Isn’t it?”

“Will it be weird when I get pregnant to sing to our unborn kid?” He didn’t answer. “Because that’s a normal thing, you know? And then they come out and grow up into adults, and you don’t sit there feeling weird that you used to sing to them before they were born.”

Not that she’d had any experience in that area. Even if she hadn’t had a cellmate in juvie, she probably wouldn’t have tried singing to her baby bump. But that had been a different situation; if Neal hadn’t given her up, and they’d stayed together, the two of them would definitely have done it.

“I know that’s different,” she said, when Killian didn’t respond. At least her giggles had subsided. “Because it’s your kid and not your future spouse. But still, it’s really not that weird.”

“No, that’s not it.” His voice was tentative, like he was unsure of what he was about to say. “Just … when you get pregnant?”

She froze. She’d made offhanded references to hypothetical siblings for Henry, but at no point had she explicitly told Hook that she wanted more kids. And now it had just kind of slipped out, and not in a way that she would have wanted to put it when she eventually brought it up.

“I’m sorry,” she said quickly. “I know we haven’t talked about it. I shouldn’t have said it.”

“No, no.” And now his arms were around her again. “You want more children, Emma?”

“I mean … yeah, I do. I guess we should have talked about it before we got married and stuff.”

“Because you believe that I’m not interested in having children with you?”

“I didn’t say that,” she pointed out. “Just, you’ve told me that Milah never wanted more kids and you were fine with that.”

“I loved Milah deeply,” he said. “I knew that being with her meant that my only experience as a father would be if we went back for Baelfire, and I was willing to accept that life. But it wasn’t because I didn’t want children of my own.”

“Oh.”

His arms tightened around her. “Swan, I would love to have children with you. More than anything.”

“Oh?” Her heart beat faster.

“Mmhmm.”

“Okay, but you have to promise me something.”

“Anything.”

“You’ve got to sing that song for me.”

lip looked at you, tears threatening to spill from his eyes. He didn’t understand how it got this bad, all he wanted to do was fix you, to put every fucking piece that your dad had broken back together.

You two had been the only ones home in the Gallagher house and decide to have some fun, It had been a while. In the moment you had forgotten about the scars on your upper thigh and Lip was making his way down when he saw them.

“Whats wrong baby?” you asked, looking at him. His eyes had become glossy and his face had gone pale, you still not realizing what he had seen. He shook his head not saying anything and told you he felt sick before running to the bathroom.

When he got to the bathroom he slid down the walls, so unsure of what he had just saw.He knew how bad things were at home and even with the love and support of Mandy and Mickey it wasn’t even to protect you from Terry and the horrible things he had done.

Lip felt horrible and useless, he couldn’t save you. Lip had protected you from so many things, people at school, creepy guys, Karen, all of it. But lip wasn’t enough to protect you from your own dad, no one was.

After a few minutes he had returned from the bathroom making some bullshit excuse about food poisoning and how he just wanted to lay in bed with you, honestly you were perfectly okay with that. There was something about being held by Lip that made you feel like everything would be in life.

-

Over the next few days you had noticed that lip had been acting weird, he wanted to go where ever you were, constantly asking you whats on your mind or if you were okay, being more loving and gentile than he normally had been. You had gone home to spend some girl time with your big sister Mandy. You two had been best friends since you were little, Only being 2 years apart you both had so much in common and she was just easy to talk too. You had thought for a while about telling her how bad things had gotten. Even though Terry had once again been put in jail, things hadn’t calmed down for you yet. You had been having nightmares about him returning, about hitting you or hurting Mickey and him making you watch again. You had been so traumatized by one man and it made you feel so weak, and seeing the scars afterwords had made you feel even worse but you couldn’t stop, you needed release.

You felt kind of numb lately, feeling like you were floating through life, feeling worthless and used. You had wanted to talk to lip about it, but you didn’t want to see the look on his face. When you cried he felt broken. When he had found you on the floor after Terry had left he left broken, whenever you weren’t okay he felt broken. You could see it in his eyes and you didnt want that. You didnt want him to worry, to cry, to feel like he wasn’t doing enough because he was doing more than enough, it was just a phase of pain and once it was over you would be okay again. Little did you know that he was already worrying, already beating himself up for not noticing earlier and he had spent an hour after you left crying.

The next day Lip had called Mickey, Ian and Mandy over to the Gallagher house, he wanted to talk about this and see what they should do. As Ian and you had been best friends since you were kids which led Mandy and Ian to be friends which led Ian and Mickey to become whatever the fuck they were and Mandy and Mickey being your older siblings, those were the people Lip called, the ones who loved you and cared about you,

The 5 of you had become really close, almost like your own little family and lip knew that they needed to help you.

“Whats going on Gallagher” Mickey said taking a seat at the dinning room table next to Ian as Mandy had sat on the other side of the two love birds and Lip had sat on end, making sure he could see the 3 of them.

“Its about y/n” Lip said but then was cut off by Mickey interrupting him.

“I swear to god if you got my sitter pregnant i will fucking kill you with my cold fucking hands” Lip laughed and nodded before explaining that him and you were always safe and you weren’t in fact pregnant which gained a “Better fucking not be” from the carrot boy.

“Me and Y/n were doing some things when I noticed marks on her thighs, both of them. Some were old and some were fresh. I don’t know what Terry has done to her as she hasn’t told me it all but he’s fucking broken her and we need to fix her before she pulls a fucking Monica and I lose the love of my life” Lip said, tears coming back in his eyes.

“You love her?” Mandy asked, a huge smiling coming onto her face.

“What the fuck are you trying to say Gallagher?” Mickey asked, hurting flashing through his voice. Ian grabbed his hand under the table and Mickey laced his fingers with the ginger boys right away.

“I think she’s self harming Mickey, I think living in that house when hes there is toxic for her. He’s ruining her. She isn’t the same. Her smile isn’t as bright and her laugh isn’t as loud. Her eyes don’t shine like they use to” He said., finally allowing tears to fall again.

Who would have though, Lip Gallagher crying, He wasn’t the crying type.He drank when sad emotions came up, but not this time. You were everything to him, his whole fucking world and he couldn’t live without you.

“Ask her to come over, we will talk to her. Tell her we are here.. Maybe she can stay with us for a little. Do everything we can for her” Ian suggested, earning a nod from both the Milkovich siblings.

“Thank you for caring about her, I believe you are the best for her” Mickey said. Mick was hurt that he never realized how much Terry had broken you, he wished he could have done more to protect you from the bastard but there wasn’t much anyone could do when it came to Terry.

You had received a text saying that Fiona had asked Lip to watch Liam and the house was empty and he wanted you to come over. You loved Liam a much as Lip did and when everything happened with Fiona and the drugs and stuff you and Lip had acted like his mom and dad until she had gotten released and you loved it. Since you were a little girl you dreamed about being a parent and being a loving supporting mom, so different than both of your parents. That was your goal in life.

You and lip had talked about it once, saying that he felt the same. He then started talking the big house on the north side that you two would have with your kids and everything you had ever wanted. Thats when you fell so fucking hard for you. He was everything you had ever wanted and nothing could ever change that.

When you walked in the back door of the Gallagher house you were confused to see Mandy, Lip, Ian and Mickey sitting at the table.

“Whats going on? You said we were babysitting while Monica was working an extra few hours?” You asked as you slipped off your coat and shoes, sitting down on lips lap. His arms went straight to you waist pulling you as close as possible.

“Baby we need to talk to you..” Lip whispered. He didn’t want to cry but you could hear his voice break and it caused you to worry. You stood up eyeing them all.

“About?” You asked, something was definitely going on and you were scared. Was Terry out? What the fuck was going on?

“We know Y/n” Ian said, looking at you.

“About the cutting babygirl” Lip said turning to you, his eyes extremely glossy and his voice Breaking once again. Who knew one whole fucking sentence could make your whole world crash.

‘Guys please, its not a big deal and I don’t feel the need to talk about this with you. Im fine, its fine now drop it” You said, not letting your voice show the ashamed and sad feelings you felt deep down.

“Sis, we know he was the worst to you, we know you still have the night terrors, we know how broken you feel. Ive tired so many fucking times for him to leave you alone. Watching what he does to you breaks my fucking heart. But me and Lip and Ian, we are gonna protect you. We are gonna save you from him. He hasn’t broken you yet and we wont let him. We love you so fucking much Y/n and you have to stop please” Mickey said, his eyes becoming glossy. The face he made broke your heart.

“Mick.. Please don’t look at me like that. Im fine” You said, trying to make you believe him when you didn’t even believe yourself.

“No you aren’t Y/F/n, you aren’t fine and you need to stop! Do you understand that I cant lose you? How can we get married and have a family if you are dead!? I love you so fucking much and I wont let you do this to yourself anymore. Do you understand? You are worth so much more than that fucking asshole and I refuse to stand and watch you let him win!” Lip said, raising his voice at some point. You started crying, saying sorry over and over and you walked into lips arms, wrapping his arms around your shoulder and one around your head, him placing his hand on the top of you head. He started crying a little too, kissing the top of your head.

Him saying this to you, it made you feel alive again, like when you closed your eyes you saw a future again instead on nothing. You realized that as soon as you and Lip got out you’d be okay. You made a promise to your boyfriend and the family around you that you’d do anything to try and stop and that you loved him.

After everyone had stopped feeling emotional and had calmed down, Mickey had told you that all of them thought it was best to stay at the Gallaghers, still having a room of your own in your house but none of them wanted you to be there when Terry got out. As Ian basically lived at the Milkovich house and Carl was gone to military school and Frank not allowed in the house you had Fiona room to yourself while fiona had Franks room and you couldn’t have to cram into Lips old small bed anymore. You loved the idea of waking up to the love of your life every morning and that lip would be there when you needed him even more than normal.

a month later things were slowly getting better, You hadn’t cut in 3 weeks, the night terrors didn’t come every night like they did at the beginning but when they did lip held you and kissed you and stayed up for a while after you slept to make sure they didn’t happen. You weren’t fixed, it was a slow process but you didn’t feel as broken as you did the night they had told you that they knew. You were so happy they had did what they did, they saved you that night. You couldn’t be more grateful for everything they did for you, they were all family and that would never change.

Some Things Change. (Theo Raeken Imagine)

Habits change.

It was the small things you noticed about Theo. His constant day dreaming and fear stricken expression he wore every time he was brought out of his day dream. His constant bickering with Scott and Stiles in the hallways and in classes. His negativity was not a result of his overly sarcastic personality, but because of the darkness in his heart.

But nevertheless, Theo did find himself attached to you. Whether he’d agree to it or not. He was protective. He did not want the one good thing in his life to be taken away, too. He’d constantly look for you whenever you two were separated.

In History, the one class he had with Scott and Stiles but not with you, he and Scott smelt the smoke before the fire alarms even went off. He immediately shot up from his chair, knowing that the smoke burned your lungs almost as bad as cursing molted your wings, and ran to the door, but got called back by the teacher. “You have to stay with the class, Mr. Raeken.” Theo huffed and rolled his shoulders back.

As the class evacuated, he attempted to catch your scent but couldn’t with the smoke polluting the air. Theo grabbed Scott’s shoulder, making the alpha and his best friend turn to glare at the chimera. “What, Theo?” Scott snapped.

“Look, I don’t care if I hate you or if you hate me. But (Y/N). She… she can’t breath in the smoke. I can’t catch her scent. Please, Scott.” Theo practically begged. Although Stiles had said hell to the no, Scott agreed not wanting an innocent life to be lost.

The two snuck back into the school and attempted to search for you. Eventually they found you in the cafeteria, the source of the fire, he figured that you were helping the lunch ladies evacuate, forgetting that you would suffocate in the smoke. “God, you’re such an angel… It’s literally going to kill you, (Y/N).” Theo whispered as he scooped up your small body and brought you outside.

As he passed the two outside, he nodded and muttered a “thank you.” He figured that you, being supernatural, might not want to be sent to the hospital so instead he kept you hidden in his truck until you regained consciousness. He watched as you slept, your head slumped to the side, resting on the window. “You’re beautiful.” He whispered, brushing a stray strand of hair out of your face.

And that’s when he knew that there was a slight possibility that he might actually have fallen for an angel.

People change.

You have been driving on a long road to get to the this stop, but it was worth it. You found it hard to show Theo the “right path” for he was so consumed by the darkness of his past. But it wasn’t impossible to get him to face the right direction, towards the light.

“If you’re an angel, you’re going to help that kid if I trip him, right?” Theo pondered, nodding over to Mason and Corey, who were both walking your way.

You tilted your head and began to protest, “please, don’t-” but it was too late, Theo stuck his leg out, tripping Mason.

You sprung into action, reaching out and getting a grip on the teen before he could completely fall on the floor. “Thanks.” He muttered, dusting himself off before taking Mason’s hand and walking off.

“That was graceful.” Theo complimented, a smirk forming on his face.

“And that was rude. You should apologize.” You said, crossing your arms. The two of you stared at each other for a few moments, wordlessly fighting for dominance. You ultimately losing to his stubbornness.

But as weeks flew by, Theo showed less aggression and plain out rudeness.

The two of you were leaned up against the lockers. His words were no longer snarky and challenging. Instead he spoke as though the two of you have been friends for ages.

His arms were crossed as his left shoulder leaned into his locker, his eyebrows raising at something you said about your older sister loving a human.

“Is it bad for an angel to love a non-angel?” He inquired, genuinely curious, wanting to know if his bubbling feelings could ever be reciprocated.

You shrugged, feeling your wings rub against your denim jacket. “It’s not bad, exactly. More like frowned upon. We’d have to give up our wings to be with them. It’s seen as turning your back against your family and God.”

“Good thing I’m an atheist.” Theo joked. His foot was slightly out, causing Liam, who was rushing past to meet with Hayden, to trip over. But Theo acted quickly, reaching over and balancing the beta. “Sorry, man. Didn’t mean it. Honest.” You smiled at his improvement. Maybe you were rubbing off on him after all.

Theo’s fingers interlocked with yours, tugging you towards your next period. You knew it was a friendly gesture but you couldn’t help the heat rising to your face. “C’mon, (Y/N). Angels don’t skip class.” And then you felt your heart beat faster and the blush on your cheeks intensifying

Feelings change.

“My sister gave up her wings.” You informed Theo. He raised his eyebrows in surprise. You shared that your sister fell in love with a human but he never knew just how extreme she’d got be with him.

He carried your books as the two of you walked side by side. To those passing by, you two looked more like a couple than an angel and her ward. “Would you ever do it?” He asked. You glanced over to him. “Give up your wings?”

You shook your head. “Never. I love being an angel.”

“Even if you truly loved a non-angel?” He questioned, his brows furrowing.

“Angels aren’t selfish. We don’t give up our wings because of our own selfish interests. We shouldn’t want both.” You explained.

“It’s okay to want something for yourself.” He muttered, feeling his heart break a bit as he shoved your books into your hands and walked off. You being left shaken and confused.

But he didn’t know that in your mind, you’ve considered it. You’ve considered the possibility of your wings leaving you, unburdening you. You’ve considered being with Theo, not because you have to but because you’d love to. In the months you’ve spent with each other, you knew one thing for certain. You love Theo Raeken.

You confided in your mother about your conflicted feelings. “I apologize if I disappoint you, mother. I just… I love him… I really do. And I know (Y/S/N) has disappointed you enough, but-”

“Beacon Hills has really taught my girls to bloom. You both found love here. I’d hate for our family and our values to get in the way of that. But (Y/N), love comes with a price. I think you know that. But when that love is as true as can be, a part of your past life as an angel shall remain with you.“ She smiled. You nodded. “So be free my little angel. Fly to where your heart leads you.”

And that’s exactly what you did.

“Theo!” You called out, knowing that he’d be in a clearing, past the bridge where they found his sister. You flied past the trees but not too high where you’d get caught. You enjoyed your last flight as an angel, but something told you it wasn’t your last.

“What are you doing here?” He questioned, his guard up high like it once was.

“I love you.” You confessed. “I love you, Theo Raeken.”

“Finally…” Theo muttered as he pulled you close and into a kiss. “I love you, too…”

Some Things Change.” You sighed. “And whether it’s good or bad, I’ll accept change if it means I can be with you.”

And then you felt your wings sink into your skin. It wasn’t painful, though it was a weird sensation. Your wings had engraved themselves as tattoos of angel wings, covering your shoulder blades and all of your back. You felt as if it wasn’t the last time you’d see those wings because although they were physically gone, you knew you would soar in the sky once more. You knew you didn’t completely give up being an angel just yet.

Anon said: Headcanons for kageyama, lev, tsukishima and kuroo with a female childhood friend who they gradually fall in love with? (how did they fall in love, how did they act after, getting jealous over her other guy friends etc) omg i’m in LOVE with your blog ; - ;

This is just *clenches fist* so pure! Also after Kageyama’s everyone else’s are under the cut, this post got super long super quick

Kageyama Tobio

  • Became friends in middle school, like when Tobio was a small little blueberry
  • They share food and Kageyama always bought her a milk as well
  • Would try and get her to do some volleyball things but she wasn’t very good at it and the ball kept hitting her face
  • Kageyama explained to her that Oikawa almost hit him and she got so mad and also started to cry
  • When Kageyama became the setter she was super proud of him but then when she slowly started to see his inner ‘king’ come out she was getting worried about the team
  • Put Kags in his place after he kept yelling at his teammates to do better and go faster and to push themselves harder during games and practices
  • She grabbed his jersey and pushed him against a wall and started to yell about how he needed to stop being so hard on his teammates and that he was the reason that they lost
  • That’s the moment he realized that he was in love with her
    • He cried when she yelled at him and that made her feel really bad and she had to try and calm him down afterward
  • She made him apologize to the team and everyone was so shocked
  • Her first choice was Aoba Johsai but she didn’t get in so she went to Karasuno because she knew that Kageyama was going there
  • They were in the same class and Kageyama’s feeling only grew for her
  • Would blush like crazy, because she looked so damn cute in the girls uniform
  • They would eat lunch together and a lot of people came up to them and asked if they were dating
  • Kageyama would get so flustered and she would just say that they weren’t and would attempt to try and calm kags down afterward
  • He would get jealous when she would talk to Hinata and how much he made her laugh and smile, but he would lay off because he knew it wasn’t good to get jealous
  • Confessed to her after she got dumped by some guy in there class, he didn’t mean to confess it just slipped out
    • ‘I don’t understand why you were with him anyway, couldn’t you tell that I was in love with you, I could be so much better for you than he ever was!’

Friends with Kids

I see your friends with benefits fics and raise you friends with kids.

A/N: So this started out as a list fic and then turned into 5,000 words.
 (Ao3)

For your consideration. Picture Holster as a coach for peewee hockey and there’s this little girl, let’s call her Piper, and she’s super cute and her parents are literally always late to pick her up from practice. Once Holster had to call them and remind them to come pick her up cause practice had ended an hour ago - and just, this girl is so awesome and loves hockey even though she kind of sucks at it and she carries this little Dora the Explorer backpack with her everywhere.

So whenever she’s waiting for her parents to pick her up she’ll grab a book or toy or coloring book out of her back pack and at first she’d just play quietly while waiting, but then Holster tells the other coaches they can go on ahead (cause they’re always anxious to leave once practice is done since it’s unpaid volunteer work) and he starts talking to her. Eventually one day after practice she just sort of climbs up into Holster’s lap while they’re waiting in the lobby and gives him her book to read to her and his heart just? melts a little honestly

And he legit always comes home to Ransom - they’re roommates, again because Holster tried the whole nine to five thing three states away from Ransom and he would rather be barely making ends meet by working at the local hockey rink than making six figures if it means he gets to spend every day with his best friend - but that’s a whole other story. But anyway he is always talking about how smart Piper is and what funny thing she did that day. Ransom even feels like he kind of knows her because Holster talks about her so much.

One day when they have a game on a day that Ransom has off from the hospital he surprises Holster by showing up. He talks to the other parents in the stands and quickly figures out which kid is Piper, because when they come out onto the ice Holster is practically carrying her and it takes almost a full three minutes of coaxing before she lets go of him and skates over to her spot on the ice.

Ransom thinks that’s like the cutest thing ever. He asks the parents who are sitting near him whose kid she is and all the parents are saying she isn’t theirs and Ransom is confused before one of the moms sitting nearby asks who he’s talking about again. He points to number three on the ice and the mom tells him that Piper is in foster care and the parents – “are a steaming pile of shit.”

two sisters

title sorta from @youngbloodbuzz‘s playlist, listen and cry with me

She can’t remember the last time her apartment was this quiet.

(She’s used to dimpled smiles when the door opens. To entwined fingers as they enter together. She’s used to her sister snorting into her ice cream, of light snores when Kara’s face presses awkwardly against the couch as she sleeps.

She’s used to a home now. It had always been Kara’s apartment, or oh, even the DEO, but never her own. This, this feels likes hers.

When it’s with them, but now? Not so much.)

Kara had promised to come soon. Her eyes stern- so stern in place of the usual happy brightness she always pictures her sister with- when she looked up to the sky and said she was going to look for their father.

(It felt too much like a vow.

Like making her promise to live a full life. Like wanting her to live life on her own terms. Every time, without her sister, without Kara.

It felt too permanent, too fast when Kara shot up in the sky after saving them.)

Outside, a dark, snowy morning rose and you groaned upon hearing the awful sound of your alarm clock ringing at its fullest on the nightstand next to your bed. Going to school in such weather should be considered a crime - but it was not, so you forced yourself to get up. A warm shower would probably get you in a better mood. Yawning lazily, you left your room and went to the bathroom, from where Scott came out drying his wet black hair with a towel.

“Good morning, sis.” He winked, smiling cheerfully. “Mum made us breakfast before she left to the Hospital. Hurry up or I’ll eat your pancakes.”

“Touch my pancakes and it won’t matter if you’re a werewolf or not: I’ll cut you up!” You tried to keep it serious, but ended up laughing out loud alongside him. “All I need is a ten minute bath and I’ll meet you downstairs.”

Considering my little brother Sean and his sister May have been friends ever since they went to kindergarten together.
That again lead our parents to befriend her parents and soon, a new tradition was established:
Wednesday evening dinner dates.
Zach and I were forced to attend from the first time on and it was awkward, to say at least.

anonymous asked:

okay but how do you think a Jake honeypot date would go down because I have never read anything more amazing in my life

@natcat5 whose brilliant idea this is.

  • Marco volunteers for the date immediately, as the only one on the team who is single and desperate.  (Although, he admits, not desperate enough to sleep with a controller under any circumstances.)  The thing is, though, that Sub-Visser Three-Eighty-One has a type: every guy Ax and Tobias have seen her flirting with in the two weeks they’ve been following her around has been tall, dark, and handsome.
    • Everyone on the team (especially Jake) somewhat doubts Jake’s ability to act well enough to play the part, but the only idea worse than sending Jake would be sending Ax to do it, so he reluctantly volunteers for the mission.
  • The setup goes more or less according to plan: Jake arranges to bump into the sub-visser coming out of a Sharing meeting, and to their enormous luck she becomes the one to ask him for a phone number.  Jake suggests the time and the place, though, and doesn’t have to fake enthusiastic relief when she agrees.
  • The day of, Rachel spends nearly two hours dressing Jake in various combinations of the seven pairs of pants, eighteen shirts, and five and a half jackets that she bought for the occasion, before Jake throws up his hands and announces that he’s going naked if this nonsense doesn’t end soon.
    • Marco immediately declares that that would be a brilliant way to get Sub-Visser Three-Eighty-One dancing to their tune.
    • Cassie shyly volunteers the opinion that Jake looks nice no matter what he’s wearing.
    • Rachel tells them both to shut up, on the grounds that Jake getting arrested for public indecency would be just as bad for their plan as him showing up in the ill-fitting basketball shirt and ripped jeans he wore when he left the house this morning.
  • After Rachel’s initial attempt to teach Jake to flirt with her crashes and burns (“You’re the closest thing I have to a sister!  I can’t just flirt with you!”) she substitutes Cassie into her own role.  To her surprise, that manages to go even worse.
    • “Cassie,” Jake says, blushing so much he looks ready to pass out.  “I like many things about you.  You’re the sweetest person I know, and you’re brilliant at not just morphing, but, like, understanding the morphing.  Oh, and you’re really smart at other stuff besides.  You get people so fast, and there are all these things in science class that go way over my head that you pick up right away.  And even though I was mad about it at the time, I thought it was cool that you saved those baby skunks—”
    • “CUT!” Rachel yells.
    • “You told me to compliment her,” Jake says indignantly.  Cassie is currently examining the toes of her shoes with intense fascination, and appears to be fighting a fit of the giggles.
    • Rachel sighs loudly.  “Not her personality.  Think more physical.”
    • Jake takes a huge breath and draws himself up again.  “You are, like, super strong for a girl,” he tells Cassie. “For anyone, really.  That time when you pried that fox’s jaws open to make it vomit up the wolf poison—”
    • “CUT!  Cassie, Marco, switch places!”
    • All three of them stare at Rachel in surprise for a second.  Marco becomes the first to react, sidling up and sliding his arm through Jake’s.  “So,” he coos.  “Why’d a big strong man like you want to go out with little old me, anyway?”
    • “Because…” Jake glances at Rachel, who makes go on gestures.  “Because of your hair.  It’s very, uh, nicely done.”
    • Marco flips a few strands away from his face.  “You really think it turned out okay?  I only had time to run a brush through it a few times on the way over.”
    • “Yes,” Jake says firmly.  “It is nice hair.  And… you are… Notlikeothergirls!”
    • Marco bats his eyelashes, grinning now.  “You really mean that?”
    • Jake attempts to smile as well.  “I have never in my life met anyone like you, Marco.  Seriously.”
    • “Now you’re getting it,” Rachel announces.  She and Marco high-five at their own brilliance.  Unseen, Jake and Cassie exchange a mutually baffled look and a shrug of bemusement.
  • Jake sets off for the date trailed fifty feet up by a red-tailed hawk and a northern harrier.  He’s not sure why he’s wearing three shirts right now, or why the collars on all three are sticking straight up in the air (“Trust me,” Rachel insisted, “this is gonna be all over the country five years from now.”) like he’s a pastel version of Dracula.  He’s also hoping he can take the weird flat sunglasses off soon—Rachel instructed him to hang them from the v-neck of his topmost shirt when he does—because the weather’s overcast and he feels ridiculous.
    • “What do we know so far?” he asks Tobias.
    • <Apparently, our dear little alien friend works in an arcade downtown, and is a big fan of shopping in her spare time.  Likes: purple fabrics, smelling flowers, and spicy tacos from food trucks.  Dislikes: dogs, dog owners, seriously don’t mention Homer, and small children.>
    • <Her selection of tacos was most excellent,> Ax adds.  <The driver of that food truck adds large quantities of a wonderful substance known as Sriracha to his meat and meat by-products.>
    • <So we may have sampled the taco truck ourselves.  Strictly for research purposes,> Tobias admits.  <And yeah, Sub-Visser whatever’s got taste.  Or Stacy does, jury’s still out on that one.>
    • “Stacy?” Jake asks, as loud as he dares.
    • <The name of her host?> Tobias says.  <Seriously?  Were you planning on walking up to her and being like ‘well, hello there, Iriess one-thirty-two’?>
    • “Stacy,” Jake mutters to himself, rather than admitting he forgot.  “Stacy.  Stacy, Stacy, Stacy, Stacy, Stacy.”
    • <And now you sound nuts, which should make a real good first impression.>
  • At Tobias’s urging, Jake stops at a stand outside a greengrocer’s and buys a dozen daffodils for her.  He’s not sure if he’s allowed to take off the sunglasses when he’s standing under the shade of the awning, even though they make it very difficult to count out bills and change.  He does know that he is not under any circumstances to push them back into his hair, because then all the gel will make a weird crunching noise and Rachel will boil him in oil when she finds his spikes deformed.  He could probably fit the entire bouquet into one of the ridiculously large pockets on the pants that he’s certain are three sizes too large, but he tucks it under his arm instead.  “I hate this,” he mutters.
    • <Be cool,> Tobias says.  <If I could do meet-cute with Taylor in the middle of a coffee shop, you can survive ninety minutes of pumping a yeerk for recruitment tactics and Sharing plans.>
    • <I would recommend against bringing up Tobias’s decision to meet Taylor alone last March if you wish Rachel to leave the restaurant standing, Prince Jake.>
    • Jake gives them both a sickly smile of gratitude.
  • The initial meet’n’greet outside the restaurant goes reasonably well: Sub-Visser Three-Eighty-One exclaims over the daffodils, Jake remembers to call her “Stacy,” and with effort he ignores the skin-crawly sensation of Cassie (now a housefly) landing in his hair.  By the time they make it into the restaurant, Tobias and Rachel are already posed at a different table with baseball caps in place, while Marco shuffles around in a white apron busing tables and Ax (despite eight or nine promises that this time he’ll be cool around food) remains safely out of sight and out of morph on the roof.  If anything goes catastrophically wrong, the plan is for Cassie to alert Marco, who will create a diversion by overturning a dish cart while Rachel and Tobias hastily duck under the tablecloth of their own table—Rachel to morph, Tobias to demorph—as Ax provides everyone cover.  Jake’s pretty sure that if his date wants to shoot him in the head there’ll be nothing the others can do in time to stop her, but at least he knows he probably won’t end up forcibly made into a controller by the end of the evening.
  • Rachel, blatantly eavesdropping even as she holds Tobias’s hand across the table and they stare into each other’s eyes (if anyone starts looking at them too closely they start loudly sucking face) has to admit that Jake does better than she would have expected.  He asks “Stacy” where she got her shoes, laughs in a way that’s only slightly moronic when she compliments his sunglasses, and (after Tobias calls out a suggestion in thought-speak) even remembers to pull her chair out for her before she sits down.
  • As instructed, Jake waits until after they’ve already ordered their food to turn the conversation to the reason they went to all this trouble in the first place.  He’s pretty pleased with how things are going so far, although then again he might just be light-headed from the smell of the instatan Rachel sprayed on him earlier.
    • “So,” he says.  “You’re part of the Sharing, right?  How’d you get into that in the first place?”
    • Ireiss 132 tosses a lock of Stacy’s hair over her shoulder.  “My older sister got me into it, actually.  She kept begging me and begging me to join, and then one time I just—Hey, you okay?”
    • Jake forces a laugh, doing his best not to think of Stacy, to think of Tom, to think but for the grace of God... “Sure.  Just, uh, zoned for a second.  So, the Sharing does a lot of recruitment events, right?”
    • <Don’t make her suspicious,> Tobias says unhelpfully.  <Just keep her on her toes.>
    • “Yeah, we’ve got volleyball days, cookouts on the beach, whole weekends upstate…”  She leans forward a little across the table.  “You interested in joining?”
    • <Say yes!> Cassie suggests, at almost exactly the same time Tobias says, <Tell her ‘hell no.’>  Marco, standing across the room, makes eye contact with Jake long enough to shake his head emphatically, just as Tobias adds, <Actually Rachel says to tell her yes.>
    • Jake closes his eyes for a second to find the patience not to swat at the back of his head and then throw a full plate of food at the next table over.  “I don’t know, really,” he says diplomatically.  “What do you guys do, anyway, besides sit around and eat hamburgers?”
    • “It’s all about community outreach,” Ireiss 132 says, apparently not noticing Jake’s hesitation.  “We do days where we clean up litter at the park, we raise money to fund cancer research—”
    • <Of course they do,> Cassie says darkly.  <Can’t have anything wrong with their prospective slaves, right?>
    • Jake, having missed the end of that sentence, has to make an educated guess.  “Sounds pretty cool.  Don’t you have, like, celebrity endorsements?”
    • “Oh, sure.  There’s Jeremy Jason McCole, William Roger Tennant…” Ireiss ticks the names off on Stacy’s left hand.  “That blond lady with the cooking show, Senator Malesin, Senator Argo, Angelina Jolie—”
    • <Angelina Jolie?> Tobias says.
    • Cassie gasps.  <But she seems like such a nice lady on TV!>
    • <Who is Angelina Jolie?  Is Prince Jake okay?>
    • <He’s fine.  However, Rachel would like me to pass along a few comments with strong language about Angelina Jolie’s lifestyle, dress, and immediate ancestors.>
    • “Shut up!” Jake hisses.
    • Ireiss blinks at him a few times.
    • Jake clears his throat.  “I just mean…” He changes his inflection.  “Shut up!  As in, you’re kidding me!  You think maybe I could meet her sometime?”
    • “Join the Sharing,” Ireiss says.  “We could make it happen.  Once you get initiated as a full member your whole life opens up before you—you can’t imagine what it’s like.”
    • Jake forces another smile.  He picks up his fork.  This helps him to avoid giving into the urge to clamp both hands over his ears, slide under the table, and scream something about how they can never have his body.  He can imagine the experience a little too well, and it’s not something he’s ever letting happen again.
  • Nonetheless, Jake manages to keep lightly deflecting Ireiss’s recruitment attempts while also digging for information, clear through until Marco—with a flourish—brings them a plate of mini cannoli for dessert.  After he ducks away from their table he sweeps over to begin polishing the corner of Rachel and Tobias’s.
    • <Marco says he wants you to save him one, because they look delicious,> Tobias says a minute later.
    • Jake, who has just been distracted in the middle of Ireiss’s description of how they draw in community members to Sharing meetings, makes a mental note to define the term radio silence for the entire team when they get home.  Then he picks up the last cannoli, very pointedly licks it, and puts it back on the plate uneaten.
    • <Marco says, and I quote, that there are ‘children starving in Montana’ that you are ‘not the man he fell in love with,’ and that he is ‘wounded to the depths of his soul.’  By the way, you do know not to offer to pay for dinner, right?  Because you don’t actually want to get a second date out of this.>
    • “You were saying?” Jake says loudly.
    • Ireiss clears Stacy’s throat.  “Oh, just that we really feel reaching out to vulnerable kids—as through the youth shelter I mentioned, and the after-school program—is the best way to offer them the Sharing as an alternative to gang membership.”
    • Jake dearly hopes that someone is taking notes on all of this, because if he suffered through the application of that much instatan for nothing he’s going to strangle someone.  “That’s really cool.  So is there, like, a place where you keep track of all the Sharing’s full members?  Some kind of database or something?”
    • <Too strong, too strong,> Cassie says.
    • <Prince Jake, Cassie and Tobias have now been in morph for one-hundred-eight of your minutes.  May I suggest that you put a wrap in it?>
    • <So close, Ax-Man, and yet so far.>
    • “…nothing that formal,” Ireiss is saying.  “Hoping for more celebrities?”
    • “You know what?”  Jake stands up.  “It’s been real.  But I’ve got a thing, so…”
    • Tobias is right: he emphatically doesn’t want a second date.  Waving at Stacy, Jake pivots and walks out the door without another word.
  • They assemble in Cassie’s barn later that evening, Jake attempting to get one of Cassie’s horse-brushes through the horrible gel-stiff mess of his hair as everyone else trickles in.  “Okay,” he says wearily, when they’re all present, “What did we learn today?”
    • “For starters,” Marco says, “That Tobias is apparently romantic as hell.  Were I not healthily terrified of your beautiful and homicidal cousin, I would already be trying to hit that like a—”
    • <Before you can go any further, no.>  Tobias glares at Marco.  <Also, to answer your next question, I am also not interested in a threesome.>
    • Besides that.”  Jake rubs a hand over his face, smearing the makeup that Rachel insisted isn’t makeup across his skin.  “What else?”
    • “I learned that, on second thought, lime green is not your color.”  Rachel frowns.  “I’m not sure the look works at all.  You can take the boy out of the WalMart jeans, but you can’t take the WalMart jeans out of the boy, I guess.”
    • “Can we please stay on topic?” Jake asks.
    • “Angelina Jolie’s a controller.”  Cassie smiles sympathetically at Jake.  “So are two of California’s state senators, and a handful of B-list actors.  The Sharing is recruiting at the youth shelter, which is just all kinds of gross and awful, and they’re making a push to move into more schools across the county.”
    • <Also,> Ax adds, <We have the names of several more businesses that have donated to the Sharing, and are therefore possible yeerk pool entrances.  I suggest we start with further research on Burt’s Taco Truck, although I sincerely doubt that any yeerk would have that magnificent grasp of the subtleties of spicy and umami.  Still, it warrants much more extensive exploration.>
  • They rehash everything Ireiss 132 said, hinted at, or confirmed in response to Jake’s questions for nearly two more hours.  By the end of it they’ve got a decent plan in place for how to ensure the Sharing can’t spread any more feelers into any more parts of the community, and the beginnings of an idea for how to discredit the whole organization.  By then it’s getting late, so Jake and Marco and Rachel all split off to head home.
    • There’s a note pinned on the fridge when Jake walks in.  Midget— Some chick keeps calling the house wanting to know when she’ll see you again.  Call her back or get rid of her, but stop clogging up the line with your dumb teenage nonsense.
    • Jake stares at it in incredulity for several seconds.  “Goddamn yeerks,” he says at last, and balls it up to throw in the trash.

When his lips left yours, you were more in shock than anything. You almost felt dizzy as you remembered the familiar sensation. When his lips touched yours, it felt natural, like you’d done it so many times before. His eyes staring deep into yours made you nervous, you saw the longing in his eyes and you could only wonder how much the two of you had been through together.

“Chanyeol…” His name left your lips quietly, you could barely hear yourself but Chanyeol was apt to hear anything you said. The air was almost crackling around the two of you, you couldn’t help but want to know more about your past.

Hey guys this is based loosely off of the movie Practical Magic, if you haven’t seen it, please please watch it. It’s ahmazziinnnggggg.
****

They had been locked away, kept hidden in the large, old mansion since they had discovered the gifts each girl held. Watched over by the two older woman they called their aunts, it was safe here, no one could get in, the house was charmed and barricaded.

They weren’t alone. No, they would never be alone, they had each other. Each girl carrying a vastly different personality,

There was Josie, fiery and determined. She loved to sing and would often use her powers to put on elaborate shows in the attic, her aunts and sisters, her always captive audience. Josie was African American but it made no difference to the other two little girls, she was their sister. Her mother had practically thrown her to the witches when she discovered her daughters unusual gift.

“You’re gonna be famous one day Josie, and I’m gonna create all of your costumes, you don’t even have to pay me!”

Veronica, classy and composed but also the silliest of the three, she was constantly playing pranks on the other girls with her powers, flying coffee cups, slamming doors. She was fun but she could be brutal when necessary. Her story was actually the most normal of the three, her mother and her had had an emotional goodbye when she was dropped off, it was for the best, hermione couldn’t handle her, but she never stopped loving her.

And than there was Betty, the beautiful blonde witch with the piercing green eyes. She was sweet and good, only using her powers for good, hardly ever for fun. She helped the animals outside, grew bountiful gardens in the green house and made potions for healing. Her story was probably the saddest. Alice cooper was her mother and she had died when Betty was six, she was the only mother who shared the wicka gene, rumors flew that she had died of a broken heart.

When Betty and the girls were twelve, Betty had vowed to never fall in love. As they stood in the attic, flowers and potions surrounding them, Betty brewed together a spell.

“I’ll never fall in love. I’ll never die like my mother, girls. I won’t do it.”

She chanted something slowly, as a spark lifted in the air.

Veronica and Josie came around and wrapped their arms around the watery eyed blonde.

While the girls weren’t permitted to leave the grounds, it didn’t stop them from sneaking out and finding solace in a back booth at Pops Diner. Giggling over burgers and milkshakes as they tried to hide from the other customers. The little witches weren’t welcome in the town and if anyone spotted them they wouldn’t be treated quite so simply.

They did this every week on Saturday’s while their aunts were out at solstice. The third week in, a group of three boys strolled to a stop in front of their table. Veronica was quick to turn on the defensive.
“Can we help you.” She said sassily.

All three girls were on edge, fingers sparking ready to fight.

The redheaded boy smiled
“I’m Archie, this is Reggie and this is Jughead, they’re my best friends.”

Reggie nodded his head

“We know you, you’re the witch girls who live in that huge mansion.”

Betty’s eyes caught onto the dark haired boy, behind the other two, his ears were bright red because of the bitter cold and she caught herself giggling at his messy hair. as josie, Reggie, Veronica and Archie conversed, she smiled softly at the nervous looking boy.

His eyes widened at her smile, but he returned it , a little shyly.

“Why don’t you sit with us? We don’t get a lot of visitors and we have like no friends” josie giggled.

The boys slid in, Jughead squeezing next to Betty.

The group talked and laughed, sharing stories and eating fries, until it was time to go. Promising to return next weekend.

Betty walked beside Jughead and smiled
“I’ll see you next weekend?”

He nodded smiling
“You got it bets.”

She giggled, turning to catch up with her sisters before turning back to him and smiling
“Oh and jughead?” He turned her way and smiled raising an eye brow.

Suddenly her hand was moving in the air and he was holding a dark grey beanie shaped like a crown.

“Stay warm, Jughead Jones”

And then she was off, skipping next to her sisters, her long, white skirt flying behind her.

He swore he fell in love with her in that instant.

Unfortunately for the three boys who had become smitten with the girls just after one short meeting, they never saw them again. The girls had been caught sneaking back in and were never allowed out again. Leaving three heartsick twelve year olds.

Years passed and the six children grew older, each bond growing stronger and stronger.

Every night Betty would stare at the flowers littering her bedroom, her room almost flooded with flowers, it seemed to be all she could do with her powers now, she always thought of the handsome boy she had met years ago. What was he doing now? Did he think of her often?

He did. Jughead thought of her almost all the time, no girl had ever had an impact on him. No girl ever made his heart flutter the way she did. They three boys had gone up to the old mansion so many times but it was impossible to get in.

Now they were eighteen , The tradition of going to pops on saturdays still rang true, and he caught himself staring at the back booth every time.

“I think about it too.” Reggie said, settling next to him. “The way they talk about them, the horrible things they say. None of its true, we know that. But we seem to be the only ones.”

Jughead nodded slowly, sinking into the booth and adjusting his beanie.

Something was different in the air tonight, everyone felt it, it was obvious. The tension seemed to grow thicker and Archie rubbed at his neck.
“It’s weird man, I just feel like something big is about to happen ya know?”

Both boys nodded as Jughead but into his burger.

Suddenly the chime of the doors rang and Archie’s dropped jaw caused him to turn around.

Oh.

There they were, the three witches of riverdale. Standing in the doorway of pops.

They were beautiful, enchantingly so. It was almost unreal how gorgeous they were. They swept past them, taking the familiar booth they had sat in years ago. All three boys eyes were glued to that table.

It was deja vu in the best way, closing his eyes he could almost see the three tiny girls they once were, now replaced by beautiful women dressed in gorgeous gowns, clearly having come from somewhere not in riverdale.

Suddenly her sparkling green eyes caught on to his and realization lit them up, as she motioned to her other friends.

The three girls stood up and made there way over to the table Veronica smiling

“I’m Veronica, this is Josie and Betty, they’re my best friends.”

He caught her eyes one more time and she smiled.

beware.

summary: Jungkook aka the most well known fuckboi amongst K-Celebs shared a kiss with you and wouldn’t stop appearing in your life since then.

Jungkook had quite the reputation aka he was the number one fuckboi. Most idols had heard the rumours and seen the various attempts at covering up the hickies on his neck, that were created by someone new everyday. His next target was me. Why did I always seem to get involved in shit like this? First dating rumours with JB? Now Jungkook, aka biggest fuckboi I know, wants to sleep with me? Hell no, I want a stable and calm career, no drama, please?

“Where are we going today?” I asked my manager as I got into the car. “Music video set for BTS.” she smiled as she started to drive towards the set. “How many days is this gonna take?” “2-3. Here’s the ‘script’ kinda thing. Since it’s a music video it doesn’t really have lines but that’s the structure.” she said as stopped at the red light. “Kiss scene?” I said, almost screaming. “I’ve been involved in so many things already and now a kiss scene? With who?” “I don’t know yet.”

“Hello, I’m ___ ___. I will be the actress in the MV today.” I smiled as I introduced myself to the well known faces. “It’s nice of you to be working with us, we heard you were very busy, preparing for your music debut.” Namjoon said as he gave me his infamous simple smile. “No, it’s my pleasure to be here. I’m quite the fan.” I told him before manager called for it. “___? Are you hungry?” “Yeah, I haven’t eaten.” I told her as I walked towards her, hovering over a shoulder. “I’ll order something for you to eat. Go get ready for the shoot.” “Thanks.” I told her as walked towards the makeup artists. “You haven’t eaten?” a voice asked me as I took a seat. “No, but that’s normal for me.” I said, turning towards the owner of the voice. “That can’t be good,” he laughed. “Jungkook by the way.” he said as he held out his hand, clearly expecting me to shake it. “___, but you already knew that.” I smiled as I reached for his hand. -

“I’m hungry!” I half  “That’s your problem!” “You said you would buy me food!” “When we get to the bowling alley!”“So, did you actually date JB or was that another stupid rumour?” he chuckled as he was forced to shut his eyes for his eyeshadow. “I don’t even know the guy, Yugyeom sure, he’s my close friend, but JB? I don’t even know how the rumour came about.” I sighed as my hair was being styled.

“I’m surprised I haven’t been in a rumour with someone, not that I want to be. But I thought I would’ve with the amount of shit I do.” he chuckled as he turned back to look at me. “Trust me, even though you’re not involved in a mass rumour, there are some that exist about you amongst us celebs.” I smiled mischievously, “Like what?” “That’s for me to know, and you to find out.”

Your Eyes Look Like Coming Home - Bughead Fanfic

A little idea that came to me based off of a post by @jandjsalmon so thank you for the burst of creative energy I needed!

Also I want to start taking prompts so if you have any, please feel free to send them my way! :)

Summary:

People spend their whole lives waiting until the day they can see the world in color; the day they finally meet their soulmate. Sometimes it takes years, decades, nearly lifetimes until you meet that one special person.

Unless, of course, you’re Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones who have both seen the world in color since they met each other when they were two years old. Everyone always says that they’re so lucky to have met when they were so young, that they have their whole lives to be together and in love. There’s just one teeny tiny problem.

Betty and Jughead hate each other.

Kissing Booth | Rucas

Each year, Abigail Adams High has a carnival at the end of the very last semester to welcome summer and celebrate the passing of another successful school year. Students and staff tend to go all out. There are booths scattered around the outskirts of the lot, like the very popular pie throwing contest where you can pay to throw a pie in the face of your favorite, or not so favorite teacher, the dunk tank if ever you’re in the mood to fall into freezing cold water, and the kissing booth.

Normally Riley would partake in all of the activities, aside from the kissing booth of course. She hated the idea of people paying to kiss someone, sure it was for a good cause and all the proceeds helped fund the extracurricular activities for school but still, she couldn’t get on board with puckering up to some stranger who has already kissed dozens and dozens of people.

That is until her crush since freshman year, Chris Cardellini, was the one on the other side. This year, the baseball team is in charge of the kissing booth, since there are so many of them they get to switch off every 10 people or so. Chris, along with two of her best friends Lucas and Zay, is on the baseball team and that meant she finally had a chance to get him to feel what she’s felt for him since the first day of school, almost 4 years ago.

Did he even know she existed? No. Did that stop her from fantasizing about him every chance she got? Absolutely not. To be fair it’s not that she was some unknown loner who had no friends, she had a great group of friends and over all she was well liked, it had more so to do with the fact that she decided to crush on the most popular guy in school. The one who could have any girl he wanted and because that was the harsh reality of the situation she knew deep down she didn’t stand a chance. However, she convinced herself that maybe, just maybe, if she got to kiss him at the kissing booth this year, he’d feel a spark and that would obviously lead to their beautiful love story.

As she sat at her usual lunch table she found herself getting lost in the hypothetical-ness of it all. It isn’t until her best friend Maya slams her lunch tray on the table that she’s forced back to reality.
“Daydreaming about Chris Cardellini again?” The blonde muses as she aggressively opens her bag of chips.

“No.” The brunette pouts, taking a big gulp of her juice. “I was just wondering what I should wear to the carnival.”

“The carnival where you’re going to kiss Chris Cardellini?” Maya smirks, raising her eyebrows at Riley.
