“I will never forget how good that felt. Playing my instrument again, after too long away. I didn’t have any agenda, really. Thought I’d just experience the city again, hear it, smell it, taste it. Adjust my mental map.” -Matt Murdock, Daredevil v5 #17

“I get the impression that Neal and Alex are still on unsettled terms.”
“Unsettled meaning what? She wants to bed him or kill him?”
“Fine line.”

Apples and Bananas
  • Regina is making apple pie. Emma is in the kitchen with her, leaning against the island and being generally unhelpful.
  • Emma: (tossing and juggling two apples) I'm sick of apples. You know what fruit you should eat? Bananas. I read somewhere that bananas make you happy.
  • Regina: (rolling out dough) We didn't have bananas back in our land. And Henry makes me happy.
  • Emma: What, I don't? Not even a little bit?
  • Regina: Maybe. If you don't like it, don't eat it. It's not as if I force you to have three helpings every time I bake one.
  • (Henry walks in)
  • Emma: Hey kid.
  • Henry: I heard you talking about apples and bananas? Mom, remember that apples and bananas song you taught me? We used to sing it a lot. (sings) I like to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas.
  • Emma: I know that song too! I like to ate, ate, ate ay-ples and ba-nay-nays! Oh come on, Regina!
  • Regina: No, I'm not joining in. (Crosses her arms)
  • Henry: Moooom!
  • Regina: …Fine. (whispers) I like to eat, eat, eat ee-ples and bee-nee-nees.
  • Emma: What's that? I can't hear you.
  • Regina: (shouting) I like to ite, ite, ite i-ples and by-ny-nys!
  • (Emma and Henry laughs. After a moment, Regina laughs as well.)
  • Emma: See, bananas do make you happy. Bananas and apples. How about you make a apple-banana pie sometime?
  • (Regina throws an apple at Emma)
