He was shaking, he thought he was ready to see you but he really wasn’t. He stared into mirror, watching his brown eyes falter and his once happy smile disappear. “Fuck.” He groaned, anger building inside his veins. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!” Stiles recalled the last time he was in this position, the heat rising onto his cheeks, remembering the time he failed himself.

hi i'm in my senior year and i still don't know what to take in college like i tried listing my hobbies and my likes to maybe help me realize what course to take but i always end up drawing a blank! the universities i want to enter also started their applications and i can't apply because i'm not sure what i'll take. can you help me? this has been my problem for years and i'm pressured and scared since i'm gonna graduate soon and i still don't know what i want to do in the future :(

Hi! Maybe you should have a look into what either your friends are doing or what your inspirations did. Your friends will have a magnitude of options so they might help to give you some ideas of what you could potentially do. When I picking, I looked at people I thought had super cool careers and found out what they did at university. One weird story was, this lady I thought did a really cool degree and now had a funky job, ended up sitting a few desks away during my internship! That aside, if you really struggle with making a choice, you can defer picking for some time. My sister is doing that since she leaves high school in just over a month and has no idea. She plans on getting a job and trying to figure out something during that time. I think pressuring yourself or applying for something you aren’t interested in, isn’t the answer. Best of luck with everything. Feel free to keep me updated with how you go xx

The Clinic Life.

Over the last few weeks I have been on a rotation in a family medicine clinic. This is the training grounds for my future career.

While I certainly have spent a great deal of time in my past training in a family medicine office, this has been my first opportunity to work in the clinic as a resident and as a doctor.

I have found the experience to very different. It has been both refreshing and challenging at the same time.

There are many long days, much longer than I would have imagined. This in part has been one of the contributors to why I have not been able to post as much.

There have been a very wide spectrum of patient cases and personalities, all of which are simultaneously the reward and the challenge of family medicine.

While I feel overwhelmed at times, I feel like I am making progress.
