A/N: Wow, I can’t believe we’re already at 60! Well anyway, here’s another shortie… hopefully I can do more longer ones in the coming uploads because I’m just waiting for that burst of ideas that I can incorporate with the requests. Enjoy! :D
You felt yourself go silent at the response he gave-you honestly felt hurt in a way considering that you would think that the werewolf in front if you would at least consider you as something significant in his life.
“I don’t have anyone, so…” the words that trailed off from his lips echoed in your ear on repeat and it only made you feel more somewhat disappointed that even just a tad bit you’d hoped that you were making an impact in his life.
You tried to clear your thoughts and busy yourself with whatever it is you can busy yourself with in the animal clinic while the three people with you conversed on a serious topic concerning about the alpha pack that was creating quite a problem in Beacon Hills. Patting the white dog’s head that they were trying to help just moments ago, you carefully lifted the fragile little thing up into your arms-making sure that the IV on its arm didn’t jostle too much-before walking towards the warmth of the apartment-type cage it was in before. If one pup didn’t feel like he didn’t have anyone in this world-much to your heart beating sadly at it, you were going to make sure that this one would at least feel that someone is fighting for it until their very last breath.
Running a curved pointer finger up and down the dog’s nose bridge in a comforting and lulling manner, you closed the cage before turning around to join in the conversation. But only to be met with a form seated on the chrome exam table, his eyes watching your every move while he quietly played with his fingers.
“You have someone, you know.” The words flew right out of your mouth not really giving any second thoughts to it. Isaac’s eyes could focus on you more at what he just heard, and was about to hear as he gave you his full attention.
“You have me,” you gave a quick small smile before leaning against the cage, your eyes avoiding the piercing blue ones that watched you by looking back at the puppy who was already asleep. “Don’t think that you have no one because I’m here, you have Scott, Stiles, Ly-”
“I’m… not part of your pack.” He cut you off making you look back at him, pointing out that as of the moment, he was somewhat a rogue seeing that he wasn’t part of any pack, groupies, or anything.
“Okay, so you’re not.” You shrugged your shoulders, because technically since he came to Scott for advice since he trusts him, he was already starting to become part of. “But the point is you’re not alone in this.”
There was a moment of comfortable silence that enveloped the two of you, only of the movement of you standing in front of Isaac could be heard. He was looking down, already feeling ashamed that for a moment he had forgotten about you because of all the things that has been happening to him for the past few days now.
Isaac knew how hurt you felt just by the tone of your voice and the small scrunching of your eyebrows when you tried not to show the hurt and the eventual teary sad eyes he grew up with. Slowly but surely, he was falling more and more as he looked up and stared deeply in your eyes, his heart making that same skipping a beat that it does whenever you were around.
Taking your hand in his, he pulled you in and before you knew it, you were locked in his tight embrace that felt like he wasn’t going to let go anytime soon. He nuzzled his face against your neck, something that the wolf in him found comforting in your scent that always registered to him as a safe haven.
It didn’t take you too long for your arms to wrap themselves around Isaac’s waist, as well as feel something wet against your neck. And this just tightened your arms more as you tried to fight your own tears.
After minutes that ticked by, you both pulled away but only to have Isaac’s arms still wrapped around your waist so that you didn’t pull away as far. You cupped his face and wiped the few last tears that escaped his eyes with the pads of your thumbs before giving him a smile that you only reserved for the werewolf. Standing between his legs, you tiptoed and leaned up to place a soft kiss on his forehead-something that you both grew accustomed to whenever you knew he was feeling down or worried about certain things.
A/N: BUt fo real though? Like if I heard my best friend say something along the lines of ‘i dont have anyone’ I’ll be like “GURL??? HOW ABOUT ME? WHAT AM I? A BUG?” Like daaamn what am I to you then, huh?! But anyhow, hope that was a-okay :)
Warning: I dont condone violence. Calum would never do this, this is a fan fiction and not real in anyway.
Summary: The boys and Y/N go to a physic then Calum attacks Y/N
For the first time in a while, I woke up feeling in a great mood but I just didn’t know why. It was the second day of being in LA, on the first day we all caught up on much needed sleep due to stupid jetlag. I walked out onto the balcony of my hotel room with my camera and looked out at the sky. This morning’s sunrise was a breathtaking display of radiant colors. Bright streaks of red, pink, and orange slowly overcame the dark blue and purple of the twilight sky. The sky resembled a prism; all the colors blended perfectly into each other. The sun itself was just peeking out of the horizon, and its brilliant rays already shined brightly and began to warm the air. I marveled at the glistening reflection of the sun on the ocean and a thrilling feeling of awe swept over me. I brought my camera to my face taken a photo of the beautiful sunrise.
After taking the shot I was most satisfied with, I walked back into the room and grabbed my apple Macbook. I leant over to my drawer and grabbed the lead for my camera plugging, it into the Macbook and uploaded all the photos I’ve been taking of the boys. Looking through them and seeing the pictures of Michael sticking his tongue out at me and his crazy hair flying in all directions, I smiled softly at them, knowing my best friend would never take a serious picture if I asked him too. I had many of Ashton giving me crazy faces, smiling as best as he could but looking like a sweaty, grunge monkey. The ones of Luke were so pretty as his beard made his jawline look sharp and many of the lights shining down on him made him look like an angel. I also had some of Calum just not as many as he tried avoiding me at all costs. I did capture one where he was smiling at Michael like a goofball and even though Calum and I hate each other, I won’t deny loving their bromance as they’ve been friends for a long time and I would never ruin that.
I didn’t realise how long I had be uploading photos to different websites and onto USB sticks as it was soon 10am and I could hear the boys in the other hotel room. I rolled my eyes at how loud they were being and walked over to my suitcase, searching through it looking for something nice to wear. I grabbed my ripped, blue shorts and my white floral top and got changed, putting my white converse on then tying my hair into a pony tail. I walked into the other room (thankful that Luke forgot to take his key) and looked over at the boys who were sat on the sofa; Michael and Luke were playing fifa and Ashton and Calum looking as if they would rather watch paint dry.
“Ash come on, lets go on a hike.” I announced, fixing the straps of my camera bag around my neck.
“Ok.” He replied, jumping up from the sofa and walking over the kitchen area grabbing a bottle of water.
“I’m coming with,” Calum piped up also walking towards the kitchen grabbing and bottle of water, “These two aren’t the most interesting gamers.”
“Err no. Me and Ash are going on a sibling hike.” I told him, my hands on my hips.
“Thats a shame, still coming though.” I grumbled out some swear words as Ashton wrapped his arm around me as we made our way outside. The hot LA air was beaming down onto my skin, making it look a golden colour.
We made our way up a trail and over the top of a small mountain which took around 45 minutes, mostly because I was tired and Calum kept pushing me when Ashton wasn’t looking, also threatening to push me over the edge. I seriously don’t get his deal. We stood at the top and took in the view of the city. I turned around to face the waterfall which thundered down like lightning flashing the surrounding trees in surprisingly different shades. Shadows danced among them while trees stood silently like armoured bark sentinels. The sun sent an army of light down emphasising the beauty of the otherworldly environment. Grass covered the land slick like hair each strand dripping heavily with water, forming their own waterfall. Flowers were sprouting up in a amazing discord of the colours to dazzle the senses and eyes as beautiful arrays of colours from greens, yellow, purples, reds and others assaulted you. Mountains reached up tot eh sky seemingly trying to pluck and rival the sun. The homely smell of pine drifted in the air lingering gently like a charm. Birds twittered and gossiped in the tall might trees.
The view was amazing and I felt like I could spend a lifetime here. Unfortunately, Ashton wanted to go back into the streets of LA, so we made our way back down the mountain. As we did, I was taking pictures of the wildlife, view and Ashton.
“Sup guys.” Michael hollered, walking out from a pizza shop as Luke came out behind him, carrying two pizza boxes.
“So you gave up on Fifa, did ya?” Ashton teased.
“Yeah, beating Luke was too easy” Michael snorted, tripping over his own feet after
“Haha, that’s fucking karma for ya Michael."
"Shut up Luke”
We walked down the streets of LA eating the pizza, pointing out things that most toursits would do and me taking pictures of the four men. Luke and me went into loads of make-up shops and he let me use him as my personal palette to test out foundation colours, thanking god we were the same skin tone. He surprisingly bought me the make-up and I thanked him as my sugar daddy, which the boys laughed at. When we were finally ready to go back to the hotel, Ashton stopped suddenly and nearly made us fall over and for Luke drop all of our shopping bags.
“We should go try that,” Ashton jeered pointing at a weird shop that held the words ‘Psychic; Palm Reading and Tarot Cards’.
“You actually still believe in that stuff?” I asked raising my eyebrow
“Yeah, I’m quite spiritual like that.” Ashton hummed, making Calum chuckle (I gagged). I looked at all the boys who were contemplating going in and laughed.
“Hey, whats the harm Y/N?” Michael whined, eating the last bit of pizza when Luke wasn’t looking.
“Nothing I just don’t believe that one person can look into your future or that kinda shit.” I spoke, playing with my phone.
“Oh you know what I see?” Calum piped up.
“What?” I groaned and turned towards him.
“A lonely old cat lady being a virgin at the age of 70, who lives in a small cardboard box named Y/N Irwin, with no family because no one loved her.”
“Who says I’m a virgin?” I smiled, he raised a eyebrow and smirked
“Oh like anyone wants to bang your crusty vagina,”
“The only way you’ll ever get laid is if you crawl up a chicken’s ass and wait, Calum.” I smiled at him.
“Your lips keep moving but all I hear is 'Blah, blah, blah.” Calum rolled his eyes.
“Just because you have one, doesn’t mean you need to act like one.”
“WILL YOU TWO KNOCK IT OFF!” Ashton shouted, a few people on the sidewalk stopped what they were doing and stared at Ashton. I instantly felt guilty that Ashton had heard all of that, I really didn’t want to make this tour crap for him.
“C'mon, lets actually go in and see if we can sort your shitty situationship out.” Ashton murmured pushing us into the shop. The doorbell dinged and Luke and Michael were looking at the dream catchers, arguing over wether the brown one with feathers or the blue one with beads on was better.
Ashton walked over to the chimes and ran his fingers over the smooth wooden material. Me and Calum stood at the door sulking and I could feel Calums eyes burning a hole in my face.
“Will you quit staring.” I whispered, elbowing him in his ribs.
“Will you quit being a bitch.” Calum hissed, pushing me harshly.
“No No No No No!” A woman came out from a nearby door, she was dressed in a orange dress with green sequins over the long flowing skirt. She had her brown hair in a bun with a small green bandana wrapped around her head. Her arms were covered in bracelets and she had many necklaces with weird pendants on them.
“You two,” she pointed to me and Calum, and motioned her hand to follow her into the other room. I looked at Calum and he wasn’t moving, so I sighed and walked after her Calum trailing behind like a moody four year old.
“Do you always follow strange woman into rooms?” he muttered.
The woman was sat at the end of the room on a table with her fingers crossed together and she was looking at us.
“Sit,” She said strictly shaking her head, her foreign accent thick. I walked over to one of the wooden chairs which had an Aztec pattern and sat down. Calum stood at the door groaning before shifting towards the chair next to me, slumping down into it.
“Tell me your names.” The woman spoke again, raising an eyebrow.
“Shouldn’t you know that, Physic?” Calum mumbled, I let out a small giggle at his remark because even though I hated him, he had a point.
“Calum and Y/N,” The lady began, I looked at Calum and he didn’t look as shocked as I did. He mouthed something about him being famous and I understood turning back to the lady as she breathed in deeply.
“I sense a lot of negative energy between the two of you-”
“That’s because she’s a bitch” Calum cut the woman off as I glared at him, rolling my eyes.
“I’m sorry, was I meant to be offended by that? The only thing offending me is your face.” Calum sat up and opened his mouth but before he could say anything the Physic slammed her palm down on the table.
“You two children need to cut all the negative energy out of your lives! You need to respect each other and become some what friends.” She spoke loudly, looking between us both.
“I’ve tried so many times but he’s such a stupid dick he doesn’t understand and makes my life hell.”
“Y/N! Do you remember the morning you two woke up together?”
“Yeah, worst morning ever.. W-wait, do you know what happened?”
“Yes, my child. Well-”
“You know what I’m not doing this!” Calum roared, banging his fist on the table and storming out. I watched him as he blew up, listening as he shouted things to Ashton. I turned back to the physic with a shocked expression.
“I’m sorry.. I didn’t think he would react like that.” I mumbled, apologising for his behaviour.
“It’s fine. He’s under a lot of stress and so are you.” The lady spoke but I was confused at what she said.
“What happened that night anyway, no one knows but him.. by the looks of it.”
“The answer will come to you as long as you’re patient and become somewhat friendly with Calum. There is something in that boys eyes, when I stare into them I see something much better than what you see.” She replied, messing around with some tarot cards.
“Theres no way in hell I’m going to like him. He’s the devils spawn. I’ll get my answers on my own if you’re not willing to help.” I spat, standing up ready to walk out. The lady had a panicked expression on her face as she could probably sense what I was about to do.
“No, Y/N you cannot upset the peace that will come forth today. If you do there will be consequences.” The lady yelled as I followed the boys out of the shop. Calum was already back at the hotel so I didn’t even bother trying to catch up with him. However when I got to the hotel, Calum was sat on Luke and Michaels side of the room.
“What the fuck are you ding in here?” I snapped at him but he didn’t answer instantly. I groaned and threw my phone onto my bed.
“I came in this room thinking you would take time out with Ashton since that is what a wimp like you always does, but evidently not.” He grumbled, getting off the bed and started going through Luke and Michaels stuff.
I huffed and was ready to throw my lamp at his stupid face but I wanted answers first, and you never get answers from a knocked out man.
“Calum, what happened that night?” I asked, but got no reply. I asked a couple of more times and after the third time he finally caved in.
“STUFF! Stuff happened, Y/N. Now stop being so fucking annoying!” He bellowed, glaring at me. I stood up from my bed and marched over to him, standing right in front of him.
“Calum would you tell me already! I’m sick of not knowing what happened that night!” I screamed, pulling at my hair.
“No, fuck off. Go back to the psychic!” He stood up and pushed me away from him.
“Calum I have the right to know. Plus, the physic said you knew what happened but she wouldn’t tell me, so there’s no point going back to her!”
“Thought you didn’t believe in them?” He remarked, quirking an eyebrow at me.
“I don’t, but the way you acted meant you knew something, you dumb fuck!” I groaned, walking into the kitchen.
“Don’t fucking call me that you, little slut” Calum snapped, following me into the kitchen.
“You’re such a arrogant prick! Just fucking tell me!” I begged, slamming the fridge door closed when I realised Luke drank all the cranberry juice this morning.
“You’re such fucking nasty little whore, always begging for things.” His voice got harsher.
“And you’re a massive dick, now fucking tell me.” As soon as the words left my mouth, it looked as if something snapped inside of him. Calum walked up to me and pushed me up against the fridge getting in my face, almost growling at me. He grabbed my neck with both of his hands and held me there, my feet off the ground.
“You are a living joke Y/N and a fucking tragedy of a human being. You deserve nothing but failure and misery in life, and I hope you watch whatever few "loved” ones you have rot to death in front of you before you drown in your own shit. I mean, c'mon none of your actual family went to you graduation and Ashton nearly missed it because he was busy with tour and fucking some chick. They don’t even care about you Y/N, everyone hates you just as much as you hate yourself.“ He growled, his eyes darkening and his hands putting more pressure around my neck.
"C-Calum you’re hurting me” I gasped, my lip quivering. He pushed down even harder on my neck as I clawed at his hands, trying to get him off me. I tried taking a deep breath but Calum was starting to cut the circulation short.
“Good, you deserve you all the pain you get and even more. I’m doing everyone a favour here, just stay fucking quiet.” He spat as he dug his nails in, the blood already dripping down my neck.
“CALUM STOP!” I screamed, I heard the door bust open and Calum was soon tackled to the ground by Michael. I slid down the fridge grabbing hold of my bleeding neck, crying into my knees. Michael pulled Calum up by his hair, throwing him into the counter.
“What the fuck Calum were you doing!!” Michael thundered at him, pinning him to the counter and getting in his face. Ashton and Luke came running in, Ashton stopped just above me trying to work out what happened whilst Luke picked me up and took me into the other room. I looked up and Ashton had Calum pressed up against the counter top grabbing fistfuls of his hair in his hand, looking ready to punch him. Michael pushed Ashton away knowing Ashton would put Calum in hospital. He then swung at Calum, a loud crack coming from his nose.
“No Michael!” I yelled trying to get to Calum but Luke pulled me into him, holding me close, “D-don’t h-hurt him. ” I cried into Luke’s shirt. I heard something knock off the countertop and scream through gritted teeth, then more banging sounds. Ashton came over to me and Luke and pulled me into his chest. He then carried me into the bathroom and sat me down on the sink edge.
“What happened, bud?” he asked softly, disinfecting the cuts on the back of my neck gently.
“I was asking a simple question and he started to have a go at me and grabbed a hold of my neck and-”
“I’m going to fucking kill him.” He cut me off, drying my neck and putting a plaster over the cuts. He held my face and looked at me, his eyes holding nothing but guilt.
“No Ash don’t, it was my fault anyway. I was provoking him.” I sighed, pulling away from his hands and sad gaze.
“He just tried to strangle you, Y/N! He went past the point of using provocation as an excuse” He shouted. I whimpered, cowering away from him. There was a knock at the door and Luke came in, looking between me and Ashton. He crouched down ad picked me up bridal style as I tucked my head into his neck. Half an hour after Ashton walked out of the hotel room (mumbling how he’ll be back in a couple of hours), Michael came back in, his eyes softening when he saw me and Luke cuddling on the sofas.
“I want to go to bed now.” I whined clutching onto Luke. He stood up taking me to my room, Michael following. Luke sat me down on the bed and kissed my cheek before walking off into the kitchen, leaving Michael to help me change. He pulled my shirt off and undid my bra before putting one of his shirts on me. He then laid me down and took of my shorts, turning around as I took my panties off and pulled Luke’s lazy jogging trousers up my legs. I then got under the covers and waited for Michael to get dressed into his boxers and slide in with me, then he opened his arms up for me to crawl into them and when I did, he kissed all over my face. Ten minutes later and Luke was on Michaels other side, cuddling into his back and holding onto my hands however, none of us were asleep yet. That’s when we heard the door open and close, some shuffling come from the hallway.
“Ash?” I called.
“Yeah?” He replied, coming into the bedroom and stood at the end of the bed, smiling softly at the three of us.
“Please don’t blame or hurt him?” I whispered, Michael tensing and Luke shuffling around. we were left in silence for nearly five minute until Ashton sighed.
“No promises, Y/N. My best mate nearly killed my little sister, he deserves some punishment.” Ash left it at that, blew me a kiss before walking out the door again.
“I’m never leaving you with him ever again, Y/N.” Michael spoke softly, hearing Luke snoring. He ran his hands through my hair and kissed my nose.
“Promise?” I looked up at Michael with pleading eyes.
“I promise, now get some sleep”
I smiled at my best friend and kissed his forehead before pulling out of his grip. I sat up out of bed and walked to my charging Macbook and camera, picking it up and sitting on Luke’s bed with it. I uploaded the rest of the photos I had taken and then I started going through them, smiling at the ones where Ashton got stuck up in a tree or fell over himself. I scrolled through some more laughing, at the faces Ashton was making when he saw my camera pointing at him. But I stopped scrolling staring at the picture showing up on the screen. It was the skyline with Calum in it. He was looking down at the floor smiling with the sun shining lighting up his smile. His raven hair swept across his forehead and his eyes squeezed shut, causing the wrinkles by his eyes to appear. I didn’t even realise I had taken this photo of him and I couldn’t believe he would hurt me like he did today. I turned the camera and Macbook off, placed it on the floor to charge again.
I then walked back to my bed, seeing that Luke was holding Michael close to his chest, Michael face nestled into Luke’s neck. I smiled and took my phone out, opening the camera app and snapping a few picture of the two, doing the same on their phones. I stretched and yawned, sliding into the bed and cuddling into Michaels back, listening to his steady breaths and beating heart.
You cannot upset the peace that will come forth today. If you do there will be consequences.
