Don’t worry, I’m going to be adding context to these and adding info and HC’s for this Teenage Cousin Shenanigans AU, but I really liked the way all these looked together instead of separating them out so here they are, the good good kids!

please spend a moment of your time imagining Korra coming back from an Avatar adventure (settling disputes and whatnot) and flying into Mako’s office to tell him all about it and even though he is technically working and Bei Fong is glaring at him over Korra’s head he just listens to her telling her stories at 100 mph and he has a silly grin on his face because he missed this

“I need a hug.”
“Aileen, is that yeh?” Seamus called when he heard the front door close. He put the paper he was reading down on the table.
Aileen shuffled in, her little head bowed.
“There yeh are. Did yeh thank Mrs. Hemmings for picking yeh up from school?”
“Yes, Da,” Aileen said glumly. She was still looking at her feet.
“What’s wrong, Ailie?” Seamus said, getting up from his chair and crouching down next to his daughter. He saw that she was close to tears.
“Da, I need a hug.” Her voice shook.
“Of course, a stór.” Seamus pulled her immediately into a tight hug. He held her like that for a good long while until finally, he broached the subject. “Do yeh want to tell me what happened?”
“Abbie Stevens made fun of my hair,” she said with a sniffle. “She said it was weird and freaky and looked like a bush.”
“Well, that’s a crock of shite,” Seamus exclaimed before realizing that wasn’t the type of language he should be using around his young daughter. “Um… don’t tell yehr dad I said that,” he added quickly.
It got a small smile from her at least. But she still looked upset.
Seamus felt woefully unprepared to deal with an emotional child. So he went with the first thing that came to mind. “Yeh want some ice cream?”
Levana is standing at her palace, amid the screams of her people, sounding like a siren song – beautiful to her ears. She clasps her hands together, long fingernails and all. She smiles so wistfully against her knuckles as turmoil and anguish is set free among her people. “OH GOD CHANNARY’S BABY GIRL WAS SET ON FIRE GUYS!” “OH GOD WHAT’S HAPPENING!” “WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS KINGDOM RIGHT NOW!” “WHY DO WE LIVE IN SUCH A BARBARIC PLACE WHERE A MANIAC CAN JUST SET FIRE TO CHILDREN THEY DON’T LIKE!” “THIS PLACE IS A TORTUROUS HELL!” A thaumaturge beats a man senseless in the streets for speaking out against her rule. Levana looks on with tears of pure joy springing to her beautiful lunar-gifted eyes. An explosion happens in the distance. With a sigh of contentment she says, “They like me, they really like me. I’m so hip.”
