Is there 1 book you recommend more than anything else in your bookstore or sell many copies of that people like?

probably ‘my family and other animals.’ i hand sell it all the time when we have it in stock. people always enjoy it, gerald durrell’s books are full of levity/ laughter & suitable for all ages. his writing & anecdotes are amiable, accessible + just enough off the radar that many people haven’t read him. i adored his books as a kid and still love them, they transcend age barriers. plus if people respond well to gerald it’s a good stepping stone into his father lawrence durrell’s body of work which is worth looking into as well.
