my actual queen

  • Michael:*gestures at Lindsay and whispers* Hey, hey, I was always about us as a team—
  • Lindsay:I figured, yeah, Team Jones, right, Team Jones.
  • Michael:So yeah. Remember when I was like, ‘Lindsay will you marry me?’ and [Geoff talking over Michael]
  • Lindsay:Was this before or after you sucked my dick?
  • Michael:*pauses to consider* After.
  • Lindsay:*to the camera* That’s how it works.

okay but i don’t think you understand i can still remember when i first saw meg & thought to myself “you’re so fun & lively & confident & you’re probably gonna get slut-shamed by your friends at one point but it’s okay because i will love you” & like. i was kinda wrong about the slut-shaming part but. i’m just. so happy???? to see her doing so well after the disaster that happened last year??? like. her role in nmtd was basically to be used & taken for granted & have other people roll their eyes at her bc she’s the “provocative one” & apparently had a shitty job in retail to top everything off and now???? now she looks so happy???? and she’s got a cool job writing for a magazine like?? CAREER GIRL HELLS YEAH. & she’s not dating but she’s still v secure with herself even after robbie’s sorry ass & she’s having fun with her “casual affairs” as she calls them & she’s dancing like lydia bennet??????? which is adorable af?????

i’m just so proud of her & happy for her like. “i know i’m intelligent, i’m hot, & i know what i’m doing.” I MEAN???? I THINK I’M GOING TO CRY?????? i am so happy for margaret winter you don’t understand.

this has been a meg winter appreciation post carry on with your day now.

Is Tokyo Ghoul a shoujo manga? (hints: Touken, Tousaki, Ayahina, Seiaki, Akiramon (sorry), Shuuneki, Tsukikane, Yoshimura x Ukina, Nishikimi, Mutsurie, Mint cookie, Takeyori, etc, etc, etc, etc x∞)

yes, you couldn’t be more accurate. this whole time we’ve been reading a shoujo manga. it’s just taking us forever to get to the love triangle now tbh, but we’ll get there eventually, no worries.

When you play bbtc (after a long break) as the iconic Daniele Donato

And form a BB13 alliance as well as the shy guys alliance, and have a fairly easy ride past week one… That is, until a button is pushed (against your freakishly accurate intuition) forcing you into duos, and you somehow end up evicted after the house target wins veto.

When you’re in jury and get extremely blood thirsty after figuring out the votes against you & then Chen announces a buyback which you then slay and return to the house!

But then the HOH competition is I Stab, and *shocker* you’re out first, and the person who eliminated you then won HOH, and it’s a triple eviction.

But even though I was sent back to Jury in a revolving door, I still had fun getting revenge and unanimously evicting Julia the next week & then rewatching BBCan1 with her while Meg went back into the house and took some names (making jury proud) and also cheering on my bae Brendon from the sidelines.

So proud that he ended up beasting out at the end, and ultimately won the game (after the audience voted for him, breaking another freaking tie, like practically all the other votes were - except for the jury evicting Julia rip)

& also so proud of myself for winning AFP! I was honestly surprised (that was a legitimate shocker) because I’m sometimes the only one who finds myself hilarious, but Chen did too <3

Shoutout to the lowkey twin twist with Brendon (stevejohnandjulia), the wonderful first-time host (jasonroyalty), all the other players (especially the ones who made jury and I got to get know, specifically Meg and Julia), and also Nicole for not lying about keeping me.

I had so much fun, let me know your urls and who you played as and I’ll follow xx!

I love seeing women stand up for things they believe in, teach their daughters how to do the same, prepare meals out of whatever they have in their fridges, wear helmets when they ride their bikes, call BS when they see it, and accept that feminism comes in a lotta different forms.
I love women who are bosses and who don’t constantly worry about what their employees think of them. I love women who don’t ask, “Is that OK?” after everything they say. I love when women are courageous in the face of unthinkable circumstances, like my mother when she was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. Or like Gabrielle Giffords writing editorials for the New York Times about the cowardice of Congress regarding gun laws and using phrases like “mark my words” like she is Clint Eastwood. How many women say stuff like that? I love mothers who teach their children that listening is often better than talking. I love obedient daughters who absorb everything—being perceptive can be more important than being expressive. I love women who love sex and realize that sexual experience doesn’t have to be the source of their art. I love women who love sex and can write about it in thoughtful, creative ways that don’t exploit them, as many other people will use sex to exploit them. I love women who know how to wear menswear.
