muzzle control

Dog of War: Prologue

The Tactical Visor had been his second chance, a way for him to continue to fight, to find answer for what had happened in Zurich. It wasn’t supposed to tear his life apart for a second time, leaving him unable to tell friend from foe, slowly slipping into a crimson stained world.

Disclaimer: As always Overwatch and its amazing characters don’t belong to me, I’m just borrowing them.

Has Were!Jack always been "feral" or was he/is he aware of what he's doing?

Alright, so this is a complex answer because its a little bit of yes and no. Depends on the day, time, and what he’s got pumping in his system.

Short story is – as of right now where I am in the story, Jack SHOULD have a good chunk of control. His muzzle stops him from biting unsuspecting humans Because his bites kill them  and he has a serum of sorts that keeps things under the surface and more manageable. His change is not based on the lunar cycle, but more on mood, self-preservation, and the stressors he has to deal with. Less stress, less fur. Pretty simple.

Jack has also not been lycan for very long, and nobody has taught him how to control his behavior naturally. This puts a large burden on him to keep things under control, but it also makes it easy for him to slip further than he would like at any given time.
