mutant rampage

so i was sending a bunch of Anarchy Reigns clips to @inverted-typo and we ended up making a cybernetic au! Daichi, Suga, and Asahi are all part of the higher crimes unit of the police force and deal with the more dangerous missions that completely human officers can’t usually handle (ie: rogue cyborgs and mercenaries, mutant rampages, etc)

also they’re in a polyamorous relationship ayyyyy

more characters to come!

30 Day Writing Challenge

So as promised, I’m going to do a 30 day writing challenge, starting today. Instead of the one I picked before, I decided to just randomly pick some dialogue prompts to use. Here they are, 52 of them so theres some actual choice for the 30 days. If Anyone else is going to attempt this, feel free to tag me if you post them and I’ll give them a read! Anyway, here’s the list!

  1. “It’s a weapon, that, if ever used, can alter the course of history as we know it. It is an instrument of unparalleled destructive power that no single man should ever wield.” “…I call dibs.”
  2. “Look at you, sacrificing yourself for others! When did you get a heart? I had thought you lost your moral code.”
  3. “There are at least 17 ways this could have gone better. Literally. Like, I’m counting them right now, you moron.”
  4. “If I die tonight, donate all my organs to those in need, except for my middle finger- give that to the king.”
  5. “This isn’t my first time dealing with people like you.” “Really? You’ve dealt with rampaging mutants before? Please, tell me their names. Maybe we can exchange numbers and meet up for tea and biscuits.”
  6. “I’m with him. For better or for worse.” “It’ll probably be worse.” “I knew that the day I met him.”
  7. “She died doing what she loved: swearing profusely.”
  8. “You’ve got to believe me.” “Sorry, but I tend not to believe compulsive liars.”
  9. “What’s in your hair?” “Trust me, you don’t want to know.”
  10. “Well, that didn’t end the way I expected, but at least nobody important died.”
  11. “Well, that’s the closest I’ve ever come to a heart attack. Let’s not do this again.”
  12. “I was just kind of hoping that you’d, y’know… Fall in love with me.”
  13. “I don’t have a license to kill. I have a learner’s permit.”
  14. “So what’s your plan?” “My plan was to follow your plan!”
  15. “Small fire! I said to set a small fire! This is not small!”
  16. “You really have no clue who I am?” “You think the confused looks and blank stare would have answered that for you.”
  17. “Well, if you’d woken up properly the first time I kicked you, I wouldn’t have had to do it four more times.”
  18. “Can I kill him?” “No.” “Just a little bit?”
  19. “Y’know… That’s not what an apology sounds like.” “Bite me.”
  20. “Shut up.” “I didn’t say anything.” “Don’t care. Shut up.”
  21. “You’re insane!” “I know! Isn’t it great?”
  22. “Oh my gosh, that would look so cute on you!” “I’m trying to crack a safe. Be quiet.”
  23. “Either I really suck at finding a pulse, or this guy doesn’t have one.”
  24. “I never stood a chance, did I?” “That’s the sad part- you did once.”
  25. “Did you really just divide the room with tape? Is this a 90′s sitcom?”
  26. “You really don’t remember anything?” “No.” “Aw man! I was promised donuts!”
  27. “Is this one of those times when you want me to lie to protect your delicate emotions?”
  28. “Do you even know how to drive this thing?” “Normally, I’d lie and say yes, but considering the fact that I almost flew us into that building, I’m going to assume you know the answer.”
  29. “Did you know you’re broken?”
  30. “Think before you speak,” she hissed, “the last person who didn’t lost more than his tongue.”
  31. “You can’t just sit there all day.” “I’ve done it before. Never underestimate my ability to idle.”
  32. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but you didn’t have wings yesterday, right?”
  33. “I told you to sit, damn it!”
  34. “I like my friends alive- but thanks for asking!”
  35. “Next time, when I say we’ve fought worse odds, I mean this!”
  36. “I am not human. I never was. So why are you expecting me to act like one?”
  37. “Hand over the girl.” “Not going to happen.”
  38. “I’m trying my best to be polite, but if you move that knife a centimeter closer to me, I will tear you apart.”
  39. “I hope you don’t mind, I helped myself to your semi-automatic rifle.”
  40. “Well, this is a nice change of scenery.” “It’s a prison cell.” “I was being sarcastic.”
  41. “It’s all fun and games until she obliterates you from existence.”
  42. “I thought you were my friend.” “I am. But it is my duty, as a friend, to tell you that you suck at this.”
  43. “You’re one of them now” She whispered softly.
  44. “My cooking is so awesome, even the smoke alarm cheers me on.”
  45. “Please stop putting things in my microwave.”
  46. “Have you still got your blindfold on?” “Yes.” “Promise me you wont take it off.”
  47. “Help me? I don’t even know who you are,” she snipped, looking back over her shoulder once more. “You shouldn’t even be here… You need to leave- now!”
  48. “Everything here can kill you, but I can do it most efficiently.”
  49. “If I need you, I’ll give you a signal.” “What signal?” “I’ll imitate the scream of a terrified little girl.”
  50. “No, you don’t understand. Once a month, I turn into a raging monster.” “Isn’t that part of your normal bodily function?” “Not the one you’re thinking of.”
  51. “I thought I made it clear we have a no abduction policy.” “She wasn’t cooperating. What did you expect me to do?”
  52. “I love it when someone insults me. That means that I don’t have to be nice anymore.”

zoddidnothingwrong  asked:

It's my birthday! My favorite film is Pacific Rim and I can imagine that SS is drift compatible with all companions, could you write what SS and the companions (romanced or not) would see in the drift together? And maybe how well they'd fight? Thnx!

Happy birthday lovely!! \(^-^)/ I hope you enjoy :D

Cait: She and Sole would see everything about each other. All of their most vivid memories. Cait’s parents, the years she spent in slavery and the things she had to do just to survive, as well as Cait’s dark times, all the nights she spent looking down her own shotgun at the Combat Zone. Sole saw Cait’s good times as well, the time she met them and one they’d remember even out of the drift, the time she fell for them and their first kiss. Their fighting style is mainly meele based, punching and kicking kaiju to death, its usually a bit of a slog but they get the job done

Curie: Curie saw into Sole’s past, from their first day of school to the birth of Shaun, and Sole saw into Curie’s. Curie’s first memory being of Dr. Collins face as she came online, the day she had to “bury” and cremate the three scientists and the subsequent 83 years of loneliness. Sole the saw Curie’s favourites, the day they showed up in vault 81′s secret labs, they day she took her first breath as a synth and the first time she ever felt Sole against her. Fighting against Kaiju their technique is elegant and relies on the technological advancements they have over their primitive opponent, Curie’s expert analysis of their opponent means they can take them out with ease, targeting the weak spots

Danse: Sole can see all of Danse’s implanted memories, all the way from Cutler and the adventures in the capital wasteland to his initiation into the BOS. Danse’s proudest moments of being made a knight, then a paladin and his proudest of Sole being promoted by Maxson, as well as his most endearing, the first time he and Sole ever hugged, it was only quick but something Danse always held on to, and Sole could see all of it. Danse only has the best available jaeger on hand and uses only the best weaponry, the jaeger being a lot like Striker Eureka. They fight pretty well and manage to keep damage to a minimum by utilizing the vast amount of canons to over power even the deadliest kaiju

Deacon: Deacon’s dearest memories are left open, from his dark past with the UP Deathclaws to the happy times he had with Barbara before her death, and the eventual rampage he went on following her death, as well as meeting Sole for the first time and them joining the railroad. They fight well as a team just like in all the ops Sole and Deacon run together, with a fast, swift and deadly style Kaiju are no match for them

Hancock: What Sole saw in the drift was a phenomenally handsome man that was the pre-ghoul Hancock, this smol ghoul was the most beautiful man they’d ever seen, they also saw Hancock’s heroism in taking Goodneighbour during his drifter days, as well as the haunting memory of when he and others were forced to stand idly by as the goons killed a drifter, the one that inspired Hancock. In terms of piloting Hancock was formidable, he understood that it was the people who were on the line and with that he refused to leave until all kaiju were well and truly dead

MacCready: The two saw everything of each other, Sole saw Duncan and Lucy, they saw everything of Little Lamplight and Mac’s adventures out in Capital wasteland. What stood out the most to Sole was the night Lucy died and Mac had to muster all his strength to protect both himself and Duncan, but they also saw Mac’s memories of them and all the things they’d ever done together, the most prominent the night they had to share a bed, hiding from the storm, as well as their first kiss. As fighters it took a while for Mac to get the handle of it, when he got the feel and took more of a long range approach, kaiju’s started falling like bloatflys

Nick: What Sole could see was hazy and there wasn’t much to go on apart from the brief moments of insight into the pre-war Nick. What Nick saw was what Sole had gone through, the years leading up to the war, the day of the bombs and the day Nate/Nora died and Shaun was ripped away, he got a better look into his companion and co pilot. Fighting, Nick favoured the sword their jaeger came equipped with, often slicing up kaijus like brahmin meat with minimal effort as the he and Sole gelled as pilots

Piper: Similar to Nick she saw everything, the day of the bombs and the death of Nate/Nora and the kidnapping of Shaun. What Sole in PIper’s memories was her struggle of leaving after her father died and coming to Diamond City, raising Nat and all the terrible things she endured in the run up to meeting them, there was also that crazy night with Cait that she’d rather forget, the reason she asks if no ones managed to put Cait in the ground yet :3. Sole also saw the first time that Piper thought of how to tell Sole she loved them, it made them feel a lot better about themselves and drove them to fight harder. As a team they were one, and while Piper wasn’t too crazy about the whole thing she brought what she needed to get the job done, racking up an astounding amount of kills together.

Preston: Sole saw everything of Preston, from the Quincy massacre to Prestons struggles following it, the ties Preston had thought of dying and letting go of the commonwealth, they also saw Preston’s memories of them, the first time they met and especially Sole’s agreement to join him. The most prominent was when they took the castle together, standing together on the wall before hugging, which was eventually followed by a passionate kiss in their quarters. Together they were deadly, they felt as if they could take on every kaiju that stood against them, and they did. Together Preston and Sole had a kill count unseen before, with minimal damage to civilians as a nice bonus

Strong: What Sole saw of strong was rather typical, the usual mutant rampages and feasting on flesh, but what was atypical was their discovery of Strong’s memories of them, the first time he felt admiration for them, it definitely struck a chord with Sole. Together they were unstoppable, with Sole’s intelligence and Strong brute ferocity Kaiju were no match for them, the side Strong piloted often took the final blow in the form of a jaeger’s fist caving in the skull of a dying kaiju.

X6-88: X6 saw everything and further understood the bond between Father and Sole, he saw the memories of Sole holding baby Shaun in their arms and the memories of the day the bombs came. Sole saw all of X6′s memories too, every face contorted with fear as X6 claimed victim after victim and his thoughts of first being posted to Sole’s side. As a team they’re more than unstoppable. Sole adopting X6′s ruthless fighting style as they piloted their jaeger meant kaiju’s could not stand a chance, they could even kill category 5′s with extreme ease :3

Sorry it’s a bit late but I hope you like it and happy birthday again! ^-^ enjoy guys! :D

(To accommodate Sole being a child. In this prompt Sole was the eldest child of two. They had a single parent and a baby brother who is kidnapped at the beginning of the game and they travel the commonwealth searching for them. Then they find Strong !!) (some swears)

“SHIT!” Cait screamed as the raiders in combat zone were torn a part from a rampaging super mutant. How the hell did he get in here? She crouched in the corner of her cage wielding a baseball bat. She prayed the mutant didn’t notice her.

The raiders screams died down as she heard the mutant cracking bones and severing short pleas of mercy with a spray of bullets. Cait was about to make a run for it when the cage door was thrown open by a young child. Cait stood in shock staring at the kid.

“What the fuck?”

She was concerned as you can imagine when a small little Sole skipped down the hallway leading a large super mutant. With a loud bellow Strong smashed the rad roaches under his feet. Curie even as a robot felt a compelling urge to protect Sole and keep an eye on Strong. She happily traveled with the two back to Sanctuary.

He had been attacked and stuck in repair mode after some raiders attacked sanctuary. Sole had only recently left the vault and hid from the raiders. It was those weeks that Codsworth was unconscious that Sole learnt how to sneak and kill. Sole then found Strong and returned to Sanctuary just as Codsworth booted up. He was terrified of the mutant at first. How did he know Strong wouldn’t kill Sole? Codsworth was cautious at first. He was always checking and preparing his flamethrower for when Strong would reveal his true nature but that never came. Codsworth learnt to look past Strong’s brute-like appearance and see that he was quite paternal towards Sole. It was a little odd but a robot butler, Super Mutant and child made a strong family. Pun intended

Horrified. Repulsed. Disturbed. This child had deluded themselves and tamed a MUTANT. They were monsters that came in the night and destroyed lives and there was a child riding on a mutants shoulders. The child whistles happily as they shot ghouls down with a silenced pistol. The mutant shoved and tore ghouls a part if they got too close. Danse raised his rifle at the mutant as the child finished off the last ghoul. The mutant bared his teeth at Danse once he noticed the rifle.

“We save stupid human and he points gun at Strong!” Strong growled. The child atop his shoulders calmed the mutant by stroking his head. “Hey! Put down the gun we totally saved your butts.” Sole snapped. Danse was completely out of his depth. He had been trained to kill mutants, how to exterminate this vermon but what does he do if one saves his team. Saves him! And it has a human child of its shoulders. Danse was no diplomat he had no idea what to do. When scribe Haylen cautiously stepped forward Danse almost sighed in relief. After a little bit of nervous talking from Haylen it was obvious the child was not kidnapped or anything and the Mutant and Sole had some unnatural bond that Danse didn’t understand. Danse tried to tell the kid that mutants were dangerous and the kid should let Danse kill it.

“STRONG NOT HURT SOLE. SOLE IS STRONG’S FRIEND!” Strong bellowed as Sole’s words of comfort fell upon deaf ears.

“Shit” Danse muttered simply as the mutant swung his green fist at the paladin’s face.

If it had not happened in the middle of Railroad HQ, No one would have believed him. A kid. A freaking little kid had just wandered into the HQ whilst holding the hand of a freaking super mutant. They didn’t even crack the code for the door the mutant just smashed it’s way through. After the dust settled and Des finally pulled back Glory from firing at the two, it had become apparent that Sole and Strong were some sort of team.

Deacon’s mind raced. They should convince the two to join! How cool would that be! Agent Green and Agent Tiny. He was just joking however when he suggested this to a horrified Glory and bemused Des. It took a few days but the Railroad became quite used to a mutant stomping round the HQ following a little Sole who annoyed Dr Carrington with “What’s that do?” “Can I hold it?”. Hey it’s the railroad. We’re fighting for synth freedom. Perhaps domesticating mutants can be added to the list?

Dogmeat loves playing with children! It’s so rare to find one and Dogmeat instantly knew he would protect Sole as long as he was still barking. Dogmeat was wary of Strong at first. Strong was big and scary just like the nasty ones Dogmeat had seen in Boston. It took time but seeing Strong protect Sole from raiders and gunners made Dogmeat realize they were wanting the same thing. To keep Sole safe! Dogmeat thinks Strong is just like a big kid himself also Strong gives the BEST belly rubs.

Skinny Malone’s right hand man was busy talking shit through the Overseer’s window. Too busy talking shit to realize the huge monster of a mutant charging up behind him. Nick stumbled back in surprise as the mutant raised a club above the man’s head. With a –CRACK- Nick saw blood splatter the window.

Nick heard a smaller, softer voice talk as terminal keys were tapped. Raising his gun Nick faced the door as it slid open. He wasn’t going down without a fight! To his astonishment a young child entered the room looking at him curiously.

“What are you?” Sole asked Nick quite puzzled.

“Who ARE YOU!?” Nick gasped.

Poor Finn. He had strolled over to some little scamp who had just entered through the gate and quite bluntly threatened the kid to hand over their caps. Hancock had not even removed the knife from his belt before Finn was lying on the ground screaming as a super mutant ripped of his face with their teeth. There was a small panic in the town as Finn was torn and devoured by the mutant but Hancock held the guards (and Kleo) back as he realized the mutant was protecting the child!

“Kid…I think you’re going to suit this town.” Hancock chuckled as Sole climbed onto a now full Strong.

After the shock of watching a man being eaten alive, Goodneighbour returned to business after Hancock gave it the all clear. Sure Finn had it coming but honestly no one was thinking arguing with a mutant.

Macready heard Magnolia’s beautiful voice cut off as the Third Rail was flooded with screams of terror. He lifted his rifle and stormed past the two gunners who were bothering him to help. Much to his dismay there in the middle of the third rail stood a tall super mutant. Hancock stood grinning holding the mutant by the arm and much to Macready’s horror was a young child sitting happily on Strong’s shoulders.

“This is the bar…” Hancock chortled pointing around the room. “The robot over there is the bartender…” Macready interrupted Hancock with the sound of him reloading his rifle.

“Hancock. JUST…WHY!?” Macready groaned.

The stupid mayor had locked her out of Diamond city! She argued over the intercom but the guard was not having it. Her article about synths in the city was the last straw and for the first time she began to panic. What if she couldn’t get in before night came? What about Nat? Piper began to get a little hysterical before a small kid strolled around the corner.

“Hey lady, you okay?” Sole tugged on Piper’s coat looking up at her rather concerned.

Piper looked down at the kid. “Who the hell are you? Are you on your own?” Piper’s questions became blurred before she cut out of it and turned sharply to the intercom.

Piper heard a small “fine, whatever” as the large gate started to rise. She breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Sole. “You’ll be okay, hun. Come with me and I can show you around.”

“Thanks Lady.” Sole grinned. “Can my friend come too?”

“What frien-“ Piper began. She cut off as Strong happily turned round the corner facing her. Piper stumbled back and let out one long scream.

Preston was lost. He didn’t let it show but he had lost hope. Raiders flooded the building and there was no way he could save the small group of Quincy survivors. Sturges frantically tapped at the terminal looking for anything that could save them. Preston put on a brave face for Marcy and Jun Long who barricaded the room. Mama Murphy simply sat on the sofa. Preston could feel tears in his eyes. He had failed them. He tried to save them and they were all going to be murdered or worse enslaved by raiders. Preston felt ice fill his veins as the victorious yelling of raiders turned to screams of horror and fleeing. Preston peeked out the door to see raiders being slammed through walls by a large mutant.

Preston yelled for Sturges to help barricade the last door. Their luck had gone from shit to shitter. If they were lucky maybe the raiders would get them before the mutant did. Preston glanced at Mama Murphy and snapped a little.

“Why the –fuck- are you smiling!?” He screamed at her.

She calmly looked at him with misted eyes and grinned. “We’re saved.”

Sole had come across Strong whilst adventuring through trinity tower. Strong was impressed such a little one was able to avoid getting killed by super mutants. Sole used their small build and stealth to quickly make their way through the tower and if they were detected by any mutants they’d quickly dispatch them with a silenced pistol they had found.

Sole started crying once they had freed Strong. They were looking for their baby brother Shaun and instead it was just another mutant. Looking down at the small weeping child Strong felt a twinge of guilt. Strong wanted to protect the little human. He felt a sad longing for a previous life he couldn’t remember and these paternal instincts he felt made him kneel down and hug the child. “Do NOT CRY. Strong keeps you safe and Strong will find the Shaun baby!” his voice boomed through the room. Sole’s sobbing calmed into small whimpers as they wrapped their arms around Strong’s neck and hugged them back.

It had been three weeks since Sole had rescued Strong. Sole had taken Strong back to sanctuary hills and they quickly became close friends. Sole showed Strong everything in his room like his toys and comics. Strong taught Shaun how to use a melee weapon and what parts of a man is best to eat.

Codsworth was a little hesitant at first but seeing that Strong meant well he quickly accepted him in the family.

“Mr Strong, Sir! Would you like a refill of Nuka cola!” Strong nodded and Codsworth topped up the tin can he used as a cup. Sole was sitting on their bed with an assortment of comics around them. Strong liked to listen to Sole read them to him.

“Master Sole, Have you considered where you will search next for Shaun’s kidnappers?” Codsworth asked. Sole looked up from his comics and Strong stopped shoveling biscuits in his mouth.

“I’m not sure…Boston is just filled with baddies and zombies.” Sole grumbled. Strong nodded in agreement.
“Well…” Codsworth began. “The man on the radio seems to be from a place called Diamond City. Why don’t we head through Concord and follow
the road till we find someone willing to give us directions?” Sole hopped off the bed excited. “Good idea! They might know who the bald guy was!”

Strong agreed with Sole. Diamond city was a big human settlement. They could help. Strong picked up his
nail board and submachine gun. Sole grinned at the super mutant and offered Strong a high five.

“Let’s do this!”

X6 had been sent by Father to the surface to locate and monitor Sole. Sole was Father’s older brother (although Father was now an old man and Sole still young) so Father deemed it necessary to keep a watchful eye on Sole. X6-88 decided to not report his findings to Father until he himself understood what he was seeing. There in Lexington was a young child wearing a vault suit being pushed by Strong as they rode a trolley.

X6 groaned. This was not going to be easy. How could he possibly explain to Father that yes his older brother was still alive and was for some reason under the care of a super mutant.

X6-88 was at a loss. Should he kill the mutant? But then Sole would be unprotected. X6-88 decided to remain at a distance and allow Strong to live however if Strong ever failed to protect Father’s sibling, Then X6-88 will step up to the task.

Maxson would of refused to believe Danse if Haylen and Rhys were not also backing up his insane story. They were saved at the police station by a super mutant. One of their most hated enemies. Even worse the mutant seemed to have a human child. Apparently the child even stopped the monster from beating Danse to death. A fight the team would of surely lost seeming as they were in terrible condition at the time. It must be a slave or some poor brainwashed orphan he thought. Maxson demanded a team of knights go out and kill the mutant however through much searching they couldn’t find Sole and Strong. Maxson was concerned. What if the mutant had grown tired of the kid and ate them?

He never made it known but Maxson fully intended to save Sole and recruit them as a Squire. Maxson refused to believe a mutant for god’s sake could care for a child. Scribe Haylen had to be given toilet scrubbing duties after Maxson found out that she had been spreading tales to the other Squires about friendly super mutants.

(sorry if you found it a little silly. i always write stuff silly lol)

“Mutant Rampage: Body Slam”

  • Video Games, November 1994 (#11)
  • If the Philips CD-i could be known for anything, it would be those games with all those badly-animated cutscenes. To give this game credit, it looks a lot better than those other CDi games you know about…
  • Oh hai, cat-nips.

Of Minions and Chemical X

Israphel decides to make his skeleton minion, Minion, more useful by mutating him with a sample of Chemical X he managed to steal from Yoglabs.
To his dismay, Minion is still quite himself thus he’s wasted the only Erlenmeyer flask of Chemical X he actually had gotten his grubby hands on.

[This is sort of an idea I had over our favorite Dark Lord getting his hands on some Chemical X and, deciding to enhance Minion so that he’s more pleased with the skeleton’s services. Minion however retains his personality and gets in the way more due to being bigger and clumsier.
This makes me wonder if the substance kind of works like steroids actually? Would he just lose it eventually and go on a rampage?
Can mutant mobs even be controlled?]
