Today is my fifth anniversary of moving to the US. We do not have Blue Jays in Germany. They can be noisy and overwhelming, but they were one of the first birds that sparked my attention over here, and I love them for that :) It has been quite the ride in the five years, but apart from missing bread and other foods, as well as family and friends, I would not want to change what I have and live right now. As a notorious optimist, I am crossing fingers, and the claws and paws that are close to me that the wonderful wildlife I have been experiencing in this beautiful country so far will flourish and remain as diverse as the country itself. There is a lot of stuff to be stunned about and love in this world. Stay curious and open-minded :)
