“I’m trying to find a way to have some control over my actions, my behavior, my ideas, my thoughts, my path in life. But it’s very new for me. There hasn’t been much off time. And when your emotional state is based on whatever you’ve committed to for the next six, seven months of your life, you have to be careful about what you say yes to. There’s a fucking price to some movies. Some movies you don’t get back what you give. I’m an insecure person to begin with, but the only thing I’ve ever been good at is harnessing the negative in my life.”
So I decided to scanlate the character profiles of Licht and Hyde from Volume 6. :3 There are so many interesting (and funny) facts about how Licht hating jetlags and Hyde disliking dry skin (for those familiar with the “Sleepy Life of SERVAMP Vol. 5 doujinshi by Tanaka-sensei, you would get the joke).
P.S. The “???” above “Hyde” is because his name was still unknown when the manga was printed.
P.S.S. “Kuzunezumi” is roughly-translated to “Shitty-Rat”, I think, but I prefer the original, Japanese nickname, haha.
Tom Hardy talks about Forrest: ” I based my character on the grandmother of Tweety and Sylvester. The mother of these boys was swept away by the Spanish flu and it is my character Forrest, the eldest brother, who replaced her. To a man, it’s complicated to put on a maternal image. Observing the grandmother in Tweety and Sylvester helped me imagine what it would be like to be the mother of another, like the old lady who makes a point of keeping the cage of her canary clean. When a woman shows up in Forrest’s real life, she is a cataclysm. He is very attracted to her, but she is also the rival of the woman within him. All at a very subconscious level, of course.“
