This video/song takes place before Cecil and Carlos become a couple. Carlos still has no idea of Cecil’s feelings for him.

//Cecil Palmer//

//Carlos the Scientist//

Alex and I were having dinner yesterday and suddenly this song happened. So we wrote it up, and sang it a few times. This is the end result.

This song is a parody of Love is an Open Door from Disney’s Hit Movie: Frozen © Disney. Content property of Disney, 2013.

We used this karaoke version of Love is an Open Door

hey!! so i had the idea of compiling a list of classical music movies, so i collected a few movies and i’ve linked each movie to a website where you can watch it for free. just make sure you have adblock working before you visit them! some movies i couldn’t find online so for those i’ll link only the IMDb page. enjoy!

About Time (2013) Directed by Richard Curtis was one of the most enjoyable movies I have seen this year. If this doesn’t convince you to watch it, I just hope you will enjoy these character illustrations  inspired by this wonderful movie :P

PS: I tried to not spoil too much with the quotes and these bits from my favorite moments. you will understand if ya watched it.

FAVORITE MOVIES: The Way Way Back (2013)

[How long have you been working there?]
Oh, the park? I’ve always been there. Ever since I was a small Cambodian child. Of course, that was after ‘Nam. I was in the shit. Then I joined the circus to become a clown fighter. I know about 46 ways to kill a clown. I hate clowns. I’m kidding except for the part where I really do hate them.

My favorite school themed dramas and movies

Although I pasted my school days some time ago I still enjoy watching those stories cus they are sweet and innocent. Those first problems, school life, parents that don’t get you, friends, first love… all that jam.

Some of them are more serious and deals with tougher choices but most of them are about love.

My list don’t really have an order, ofc I liked some more then the other but everyone of them was a pleasure to watch. If I missed some great titles please do share I will definitely watch them ^.^

At most times I choose Korean productions but on occasions I like to watch Japanese as well.

School 2013 (drama)

Adolescence Medley (mini drama)

Reply 1997 (drama)

Dream High (drama)

Monstar (drama)

Ma Boy (mini drama)

The Clue (movie)

Jenny and Juno (movie)

Japanese :

All imagines from  :)

“You know, I’ve often wondered why it is we have children in the first place. And the conclusion I’ve come to is… At some point in our lives we realize things are screwed up beyond repair. So we decide to start again. Wipe the slate clean. Start fresh. And then we have children. Little carbon copies we can turn to and say, ‘You will do what I could not. You will succeed where I have failed.’ Because we want someone to get it right this time. But not me. Personally speaking, I can’t wait to watch life tear you apart.”

Stoker (2013) dir. Park Chan-wook

Remember how Adam said that they have figured the show is in early 2013 now and that’s why nobody in Storybrooke recognizes the Frozen characters (since the movie hasn’t come out yet?) So that means whatever we’re watching with CS is over a year behind, real time speaking. WHICH MEANS THAT AT THIS VERY MOMENT IN LATE 2014, EMMA AND KILLIAN COULD VERY WELL BE MARRIED AND/OR GETTING STARTED ON THAT PIRATE BABYMAKIN.

hold meeeee

The Night of the Doctor

It feels a little weird watching this as part of Classic Who Catch Up given that it was released in 2013 but I felt I had to have every last moment of the Eighth Doctor on screen.

The mini-episode is great and brings the Eighth Doctor into the Time War. I love the idea that this Doctor is avoiding the war, trying to help but not getting directly involved. He’s very much the Eighth Doctor we see in the TV Movie, a hint of humour (“bring me knitting”) and the sacrifice he makes to try and save someone.

I like the altered look- a lot of the Doctors change their style a little over their life and clearly the Eighth Doctor has, keeping the basic look but making it a bit more practical. I like to think that the first thing the Eighth Doctor did after the TV Movie was go to a hairdressing planet- the short hair looks better and is far more practical for universe saving.

I’m so glad that this exists and that Paul McGann came back in front of the cameras after all those years.

As a follow up to my recent “Frozen / movies starring women and girls” post.

I had a commenter complain that I used the image below as a response to people who say that “audiences don’t want to watch movies starring women and girls.”

They argued that since I had only referenced Frozen, I was the one with a small sample size. Fair enough! Let’s see if people will watch movies with female leads.

Female-led Films Were 2014’s Highest Grossing Movies

Scarlett Johansson’s Lucy, Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent and, of course, Jennifer Lawrence’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, won big at the box office last year.

2013 Was the Year of Women at the Box Office

With ‘Catching Fire,’ ‘Frozen,’ and drunk Oprah cleaning up at the box office, this may have been the best year yet for women in Hollywood.
