Alden Ehrenreich photographed by Jake Michaels for The New York Times

Mr. Ehrenreich is suddenly being discussed all over Hollywood, as trade papers and gossip columns on both coasts trumpeted this week that he has landed the role of Star Wars’ Han Solo in the coming Solo standalone movie, scheduled for 2018, rumors of which have circulated for weeks. When asked, Mr. Ehrenreich said he could not say anything about it, though he did cop to being a Star Wars fan. (“Who isn’t?” he said. Star Wars vs. Star Trek? “Probably both.”)

I haven’t seen Lego Batman yet, so take that into account for this post, but from what I’ve been hearing, it highlights the biggest flaw in most modern DC films in that they take themselves too seriously and aren’t fun to watch. Like a Batman movie made entirely out of Legos is such a ridiculous concept yet tons of people are saying how great it is as not just a movie but a Batman movie. And it’s because it recognizes that it’s an odd concept and has fun with it. And that’s why I think the marvel movies have been doing so well, because while they aren’t comedies, you can tell that they are just having fun with the story and it lets them do like ridiculous stuff that people will accept more

@stygicniron replied to your post     can we all just universally accept the…

//an alternate theory might be that elizabeth died?? (because she’s not appearing in the movie) not that i want this, but he can’t visit her if she’s dead

yeah that’s the popular theory out there and I’m salty aF about it existing lmfao, but with the rumours that keira is coming back for a post-credits scene ( I wasn’t gonna take the rumours seriously until kevin mcnally started being cryptic on twitter about it ) I just have a hunch that the writers won’t go there, even if she doesn’t appear.

For the lolz. I'm short, sarcastic and savage. I love to read and stargaze. I'm sentimental underneath it all and very protective and maternal when it comes to those I care about. I would rather watch tennis or football than romance movies, I don't like chocolate or going shopping. I like to cook and my home is my sanctuary. Will that about cover it? As for what game/anime... ??? *Shrugs shoulders* Yuri on Ice??

Short, sarcastic and savage…don’t I know it haha :P

Let’s seeeeee, I think you’d do well with, I don’t know why, but Yuuri!

He loves the food you cook, just make sure you don’t make too much. He’s happy to not go shopping often, and he’d make sure when he gave you gifts it wasn’t chocolate. Stargazing would be your monthly date after his skating training. he’d love to watch sports with you, tennis would be an interesting one, since he only watches skating, seeing somethig different could help him get better at his own sport. Also, he’d totally teach you how to skate!

@love-and-equality tagged me, thanks ;D

Rules: Answer all questions, add one question of your own and then tag as many people as you wish.

Coke or Pepsi: Coke!
Disney or DreamWorks: Neither? I don’t care. DreamWorks.
Coffee or Tea: Tea! I don’t like coffee ;)
Books or Movies: I’d rather read a book but watching a movie takes less time and I don’t have much lately
Windows or Mac: Windows oh my god.
DC or Marvel: Marvel all the way
Xbox or Playstation: Playstation all the way too!
Dragon Age or Mass Effect: I didn’t play Mass Effect but seeing how I am since I played Dragon Age? Dragon Age.
Night Owl or Early Riser: Night Owl without a doubt
Cards or Chess: Cards, I don’t know how to play chess
Chocolate or Vanilla: Chocolate
Vans or Converse: Converse because that’s like the only shoes I own!
Cadash or Adaar: Adaar (that’s a Dragon Age sponsored thing or what? ;))
Paragon or Renegade: Never played (nevermind apparently it’s a BioWare sponsored thing)
Star Wars or Star Trek: Star Wars just because I’ve never watched Star Trek
Gandalf or Obi-Wan: Gandalf!
Heroes or Villains: Villains, always the villains.
John Williams or Hans Zimmer: Hans Zimmer, I’d say

Twin Peaks or Northern Exposure: No idea, don’t know enough
Harry Potter or Lord of the rings: … I’d say Harry Potter because I’ve read the books at least
Cake or Pie: Cake
You are banished to a desert island, which Benedict Cumberbatch character would you choose to take with you?: Sherlock, because he’ll probably find a way out. If he doesn’t, then I’ll have a dickhead to beat up, that’s good too (sorry but I wouldn’t want Sherlock as my friend)
Train or Cruise ship: Train!
Brian Cox or Neil deGrasse-Tyson: Who?
Sherlock in dark purple shirt or blue shirt: Purple
Molly Hooper in yellow dress or white and red dress: Yellow (when has this become Sherlock, I liked BioWare better?)
Pizza or Pasta: Pizza
Drawing or Writing: Writing, I love writing
Louise Brealey or Amanda Abbington: Louise Brealey
Benedict Cumberbatch or Martin Freeman: Ugh. I don’t know. Maybe Cumberbatch.
Favorite musician or band: I was going to say Fall Out Boy, but I must admit John Barrowman’s got a nice voice. So currently, that’d be John.
Playing video games or watching TV shows: That’s a tough one. Again currently I’d say playing video games because lately I’ve been playing a lot.

My Question: Short (5 to 30min.) or long (~1h+) shows?

And I tag people this time, @a-random-fandom-girl @omelettedufromage-24601 @castorlovescourgette @orphanage-body @trashlord-watson ;)

Hi! Wha's yer favorite movie? Or rather, one of your favorites?

I really like the movie Stardust. It’s based on a book by Neil Gaiman (which is also great by the way). The magic in the movie/book inspires some of magic. It’s kind of cosmic, kind of cottagey, and definitely on the fly.

I like you. I like being with you. I like feeling your warm grasp. I like talking about simple things like the movies we watch and the places we would rather be. I like complaining about school work and making fun of people we hate. I like talking about our futures and dreams and desires. I like hearing your cute silly laugh and feeling satisfaction that I was the one to make you chuckle and smile that beautiful grin of yours. I like gazing into your eyes and feeling at home. Like every things gonna be all right because you’re here and you’re mine. I like how that one night you told me you loved me for the first time and you were so scared. I knew I loved you. I will always love you.
