Darkness. That’s the first thing I remember. It was dark, it was cold, and I was scared. But then… then I saw the moon. It was so big, and it was so bright. It seemed to chase the darkness away. And when it did… I wasn’t scared anymore. Why I was there and what I was meant to do, that I’ve never known, and a part of me wonders if I ever will.
Look closer. What do you see? You have big eyes. Yes! Big eyes. Very big. Because they are full of wonder. That is my center. It is what I was born with. Eyes that have always seen the wonder in everything! Eyes that see lights in the trees and magic in the air. This wonder is what I put into the world! And what I protect in children. It is what makes me a Guardian. It is my center. What is yours?

300 freakin’ years without a person to call a friend or a part of his family, and he thought that the closest thing he had to one was the Guardians. One small act of wanting his memories back, and he feels like a failure.
Bunny not only told Jack that the Guardians shouldn’t have trusted him, but he actually straight-up wanted to punch him. He wanted to physically hurt him. He didn’t, but he was going to, and Jack staggered back in fear.
